2001: The Big Three are still kicking? (An ECW Diary)

I guess thats the word you would use to describe the dying days of ECW. ECW was believed to be truly dead after there last PPV (Guilty of Charged 2001). Everyone thought that ECW was dead... well everyone but Paul Heyman... Heyman of course was at work with WWF. So was a lot of his former boys and staff members and so was WCW. Until Heyman had a genious idea... Heyman came up with the idea to hire an attorney and sue the WWE for trying to monopolize the wrestling business. The United States Government then stepped in and agreed with the ruling surprisingly. The US Government then announced they would be dividing the WWF into three seperate companies all three owned and operated by different people. The first of course would be WWF the traditional wrestling company everyone knows. The second is WCW. The US Government forced AOL Time Warner to take back WCW under its wing. The third was ECW. The US Government would go into great depth to find ECW a time slot on television and they did. Diamond reluctantly agreed. Diamond and Loc dominated most of the match even though York and Matthews hit some unique offense. York and Matthews got the upset win though when York hit Diamond with a moonsault off the top rope! Heyman retorts with "THE ECW TITLE TOURNAMENT"... Matthews and Steel had a straight wrestling match but it was not as good as the match before it as a few fans had no clue who either man was. Ki used his feet a lot and kicked the crap out of Sabu more than once. Ki even hit a Convincing nearfall after a Corkscrew 450. Simon Diamond and HC Loc vs. [B]the Brown Brothers[/B]=The problems between Diamond and Loc continue. Kid Kash vs. [B]Jody Fleisch[/B]=Fleisch wins in his debut. The match was very good but the fans of course came to see blood and stars... The match did not provide either... Samoa Joe got the win for Hot Commodity via Muscle Buster onto Amazing Red. Dreamer and Sandman had quite the time trying to put each other through the tables. Dreamer looked to have the match won when he hit the Death Valley Driver ontop of a Table... THAT DID NOT BREAK. The Sandman was thrown a beer by one of the fans and was resurrected magically! The Crowd instantly hated the Browns as they came out wearing full NFL gear. The crowd were actually behind Loc and Diamond and even cheered for them at some points. Loc messed up a double team move (Hart Attack) which enabled Wagner Brown to hit a DDT followed by a massive Double Shoulder Tackle known as The Pounce and the Punch from the Brown Brothers!
