SpaceMountain Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 Okay, so I'm playing a game as 4C, right? I'm loving it. Having tons of fun. My main storyline is Joey Poison (world champ) Vs. Jacob Jett. It's doing great. Gaining heat with every show. Then what happens? That damned NOTBPW signs Jett to a written contract, making me change the date of my monthly show on the fly to end the feud with a burial, and hopefully kill some of Jett's heat (little backstabbing bastard) while adding to the fuel in my champ's fire. Okay, all good. Then, 4 days later, they sign Poison! OMFG! Now I'm having to add another show in this month to get the strap off of him and put it on Sayeed Ali, who is now going to hold two belts. World and Hardcore. Now I'm not only screwed out of my talent, but money I didn't need to spend on an extra show. Watch them, next they'll take Ali. Bastards. Kind of cheap, I know, but it's needed now that they're taking all of my talent. I know I'll never leave my promotion to sign with those *******s. thug saint oga Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 NOTBPW have stolen many of my bad ass main eventers in MAW. they've attempted to steal a couple more, but for some reason they've stayed with me. NOTBPW refuses to sign any kind pf pact. i hate them.....in my MAW game. they always put on A shows and are A pop in both the US and Canada....untouchable. I am working up to start a 07 game with cornellverse and a TON of my own created stuff, and i wanted to know or rather ask... do you have to scedual events at the beginning of the game like before you start (ie ppvs, or whatever) or can you just go in and "announce" one like 2 weeks prior to holding said events? Wildcat Posted February 13, 2007 Share Posted February 13, 2007 Easiest way around the situation is to pull a Jeff Jarrett and carry the big belt yourself in order to keep the opposition from stealing your champion... Wildcat Posted February 14, 2007 Share Posted February 14, 2007 Non Agression Pacts only work if theres a reason for that company to fear that you are going to steal their talent as well.. you need to use working agreements which allow you to work with a company thats larger than you or that don't have a reason to view you as a threat at that time.
