It's a step in the right direction, but to be honest it is too little, too late to save Cavanagh's job. Jacob Jett defeated Mighty Cavanagh in 8:23 by submission with a Jett Engine. Kirk has a hard enough time making an average match with a solid worker, what the hell is he supposed to do with Derek? It might have been interesting if there was some chemistry, but not so much. Note to self: Way to tank the crowd's mood, hoser! Don't do that again. Derek Frost defeated Kirk Heidenreich in 7:35 by pinfall. Tom Towsend: Tonight the Blondes practically have a night off, as they face the team of Has-Been and Never-Was, Flash and Hash! The Blondes have dominated every time these two teams have matched up and I don't see that changing anytime soon! Tommy London: We also have the first Cup campaign match for the American brawlers Frankie Datsun and Jack Marlowe, the Hard Working Wild Men, but they have a tough draw against the younger Stone brothers, Duane and Edd! Tom Towsend: Also continuing their Cup run tonight is the hard hitting team of Rhino Umaga and Insane Machine, who are bound to give their competitors headaches as they make their way through the group stage. Tommy London: And if the Cup isn't enough, we have the Heavyweight Title up for grabs tonight as Sean McFly defends against Johnny Bloodstone! The one bright moment came right after Craig had pinned Insane Machine, and he and Gregg went to double-team Umaga with a Tag Headbutt. Umaga did the traditional Samoan hard head routine and headbutted them right back, knocking Gregg cold and allowing Umaga to devastate Craig with an avalanche and a Samoan Drop off the second rope. By the time Gregg had cleared the cobwebs out of his head, Umaga was ready to give him the same treatment. Samoan Insanity defeated The Kelowna Playaz in 9:56; Insane Machine was eliminated first, then Gregg Boone, and finally Craig Green. Hayes in what is sure to be an outstanding match! Tom Towsend: R.K. may still be smarting after coming up short in his title match at Clash Classic, but knowing him, instead of moping about it, he's looking for someone to take his frustrations out on! Uncle Dan's pretty good at covering up that kind of stuff, but Grandpa and I could both notice. Still, the crowd definitely reacted pretty well, so I don't think it was glaringly obvious to the casual fan. "S.L." also did some good work at ringside to help things along and give folks something else to pay attention to. Dan Stone Jr defeated R.K. Hayes in 12:48 by pinfall. As solid as Johnny is technically, he always is looking to learn something more from Grandpa and continue to improve, and that was apparent in tonight's performance. All in all, a very entertaining match that everyone enjoyed. Sean McFly defeated Johnny Bloodstone in 19:35 by pinfall. Sean McFly makes defence number 14 of his NOTBPW Heavyweight title. However, we still made a profit for the month and we learned a lot about the new members of the roster." "Very true. The additional exposure did come with a price, but given the gains we are seeing in the western markets I would say it was worth the investment. The American gains are also impressive -- I think we have a good head of steam going into our new television deals." "Folks south of the border are starting to notice us. Did you see the news that Tommy Cornell hired John Campbell for color commentary on their new show?" "I did indeed. Gotta wonder what's going through Phil Vibert's mind right now, I can't imagine that Campbell will keep booking for DaVE at this point." "I'm amazed he hasn't been fired already, but you're right, there's no way he'll do both. I'm Ryan Jalda of GrappleFanatics.net and this is hour two of the Saturday Night Bull Shoot. My guest for this hour is a living legend in this business. A dominant force in the latter stages of the Traditional Era. A three-time APWF champion, a three-time CWF champion, and patriarch of one of the most powerful wrestling families today. North of the Border Pro Wrestling owner Dan Stone Sr., welcome to the program. Dan Stone: Thanks very much, Ryan, happy to be here. Ryan Jalda: Got a few things I'd like to touch on over the next few minutes. 2007 has started out as a pretty good year for NOTBPW -- a very successful Big City Brawl event in January, and two major TV deals for the upcoming season. Let's talk about them separately; first, GNN Total Sports picked up your main show, Championship Wrestling, putting it in prime time Wednesday nights on both sides of the border. That's a huge win for NOTBPW. Dan Stone: It really is, Ryan. It speaks to how far we've come as a promotion to be able to enter the American market with this kind of strength. Despite all appearances, the American market is wide open and we've got a great opportunity to build our fanbase in the States. Ryan Jalda: What kind of changes can we expect to see with GNN as your primary network? Dan Stone: Mostly what you'll see is a larger investment in production values -- the technical team at GNN is top notch and they've got so much experience with large arena-style broadcasts that it will really help us make the show experience come alive for the viewer. Ryan Jalda: What about in the ring? While the main event folks are known in the States, especially your current champion Sean McFly, well remembered here for his SWF run, a lot of your midcard, even the upper midcard, doesn't have a lot of exposure in the US. Is this a concern? Dan Stone: Not really, Ryan. Sure, it's going to take time for the American fans to get to know us a little better, but it's not like we're a complete unknown in the US -- we have a solid internet following and while our old TV deal with National Pride was much smaller than our new deal, it did give us some exposure. I think we're a fresh alternative to what the US fanbase currently has and once they see that, the rest will take care of itself. We just need the time and platform to put our product out there and Championship Wrestling on GNN Total Sports is a key part of that strategy. Ryan Jalda: A key part indeed, but as you alude to, not the only part. You also are debuting a new show this Monday night on Sports America, Masters of the Squared Circle. Looking at the card, you're pulling out all the stops for a good debut it seems -- you have Dark Angel challenging for the Heavyweight Title against Sean McFly in the main event, Jeremy Stone versus R.K. Hayes, Duane Stone versus Johnny Bloodstone, and Tim Westybrook and Melody Cuthill defending their respective titles, the Donnybrook Title and the Women's Title. Dan Stone: Oh, yes, we definitely want to make a good first impression. Ryan Jalda: I think you will, I think you will. Let's talk a little bit about the state of the industry and the state of NOTBPW. You definitely seem to be in growth mode right now -- you brought some new talent in just after the beginning of the year, including the young standout Shooter Sean Deeley, who was in the upper midcard at rival Canadian Golden Combat, and Jacob Jett, who was a key part of 4C. You've also made a conscious effort to hold shows in the western provinces in the past few weeks. Is this a shot across the bow to George DeColt and Troy Wimmer that you're going after them? Dan Stone: I wouldn't put it that way myself, but we're always looking for talent that can put on the kind of match with the kind of excitement that has been NOTBPW's hallmark in the past few years. Sean and Jacob are great examples of young, ambitious athletes looking to prove themselves in the ring with the best of the best, and they can do just that with us. Ryan Jalda: Do you see 4C and CGC as your main competition, or is it now TCW, SWF and DaVE now that you're part of the American scene? Dan Stone: You know, I just worry about putting on the best show I can every night for our fans. I'm not really keeping score, I'm really focused on our fans and giving them their money's worth every time they buy a ticket or a pay-per-view. Ryan Jalda: Fair enough. Let's turn to matters closer to home. Your granddaughter, JeriLynn Stone, made her NOTBPW debut a few weeks ago. That's gotta give you a sense of pride to see a third generation of Stones in the business. Dan Stone: Absolutely, it does. I am so proud of JeriLynn, she has truly carried herself as a professional now that she's officially part of NOTBPW. Ryan Jalda: She definitely reminds me of her aunt, your daughter Victoria, when she was just starting in the ring. Dan Stone: I think so too. JeriLynn and Victoria have been very close for years now, and I think that's a big part of why you see so much similarity in their styles. Ryan Jalda: What exactly is JeriLynn's role right now? There's a lot of conjecture amongst the wrestling punditry and smarks, but not a lot of agreement. I know she went to school for a business degree, does she have a backstage role along with her in-ring work? Dan Stone: We brought JeriLynn onto the booking team just after the first of the year, that gave Victoria a chance to redirect her energies back to her in-ring work. Ryan Jalda: How much has she influenced the current direction of the promotion? Dan Stone: She's brought in a lot of fresh ideas, and we've been following through on many of them. Don't be fooled by her youth, she's grown up in this business and knows it as well as her father, uncles and aunt. We're definitely tapping into her education and giving her a chance to put those skills to work in the back office. Ryan Jalda: Does she actually run the book now? Dan Stone: She does. Ryan Jalda: Wow. A 21-year old woman running the book for one of the largest promotions in the world. Grown up in the business or not, that's a lot to ask of someone like that. Dan Stone: I don't disagree, Ryan. But JeriLynn is a remarkable young woman and she has risen to the task so far. Ryan Jalda: We're talking with Dan Stone Sr., the owner of North of the Border Championship Wrestling.
I think there may be a real dark side to you 'Banger.
Don't let the mafia players know that, outlaw... :D I used an entertainment-based angle instead of an overness-based angle, and because Acolyte (Karen Killer) isn't really well known, the whole thing went into the crapper. So I wrote the promo up to reflect the "into the crapper-ness" of it all...

"I think you have to back off of Cliff's gimmick," Grandpa was saying as he sipped his coffee. "I know it's probably tame by your generation's standards, but I think it's really unsettling to most of our core audience, which is a bit older and, dare I say, more conservative." I frowned. I knew he was right, and the Sports America folks, while not saying anything critical directly to us about the show or its point-one-six rating, had to be unimpressed with what I felt was a tepid first draw. "I mean honestly, 'feasting on his entrails'? What's next, having him eat worms in the ring, maybe force feed them to his victims?" I suprressed my gag reflex at the thought and glared at Grandpa. "Oh come on, Grandpa, give me some credit. No one is stupid enough to put that on national TV." Grandpa laughed, which broke through my funk and caused me to crack a smile. "I suppose you're right. So we'll rewrite his next couple of segments?" "Yes, we will. Anyway, can we change the subject now? Did you hear from our most recent prospect?" "I did indeed, the office made the travel arrangements for him to meet us in Toronto for the show. I'll meet him myself at the airport tomorrow so I can chat with him for a bit before the show. I'd send you, but I don't want to deprive you of meeting your beau and spending a little time with him tomorrow before the pre-show."

I met Kirk at the business aviation terminal at the airport in Hamilton. Once we got in the car to head out to Waterloo, Kirk pulled out his laptop and plugged in his wifi card. Soon he was logged into the student forums at Saint Knud and intently reading. A couple of times he unknowingly reacted to what he was reading, sometimes laughing, sometimes muttering to himself, once he even slammed down the lid of his laptop in disgust. "What's got you so worked up, hon?" "Oh, nothing really, it's this great game called Mafia that folks have been playing on the Saint Knud boards. It's played by a big group, and a few in the group are the Mafia, and they're trying to win by killing off anyone who isn't with them, while everyone else is trying to figure out who the mafia are so they can kill them. Every day they hold a vote and if someone gets a majority they're killed and then you find out whether they're mafia or not, then the mafia get to make a hit during the night. You keep going back and forth with day and night until all the mafia are dead or there are more mafia than townies -- er, non-mafia. And in this game, all the characters are wrestlers! I'm playing Wolf Hawkins in TCW, and I can't die at night because I have a shotgun and anyone who tries to do anything to me at night gets their brains blown out. But I have to be careful because I can't pick and choose who I shoot and I might get hung if people think that I'm killing townies, but if I let people know I'm the PGO, then the mafia won't come and target me, so I have to keep everyone in the dark and keep people from talking about me. It's so cool..." From there, he devolved into a rambling narrative filled with strange terms (bandwagon? hammer? Masons?) and weird conspiracy theories about how the Underwater Union was trying to keep Sam Strong alive by using a bus driver to switch him and Jack Giedroyc or something like that. Well, I'll say this much, he was definitely enthusiastic. In a way, I envied him the escape that he was enjoying; I knew he was under a lot of pressure to keep his grades up and maintain his off-season workout schedule for the football team at Saint Knud's, and on top of which flying off to various parts of the Great White North to work shows and spend face-to-face time with me. So part of me was glad that he had found something to take his mind off of things. On the other hand, I'd seen friends get so caught up in the Internet fad of the moment, like MMPORGs, blogging, heck even online porn (Those so-called firewalls that the school uses? More holes in them than Swiss cheese), that I was worried that things like this could cause him to lose focus on school and his career. "...I'm sorry, I'm boring you stiff, aren't I?" "Huh? Nah, not really, but there sure seems to be a lot to it. Wish I had time to try it myself," I half-lied. By this point we'd arrived at the Waterloo campus and it was time to get both of our heads into the show, Kirk's protestations of being "lynched" while he was offline notwithstanding.
OOC: The above is my in-character way of begging forgiveness for my Mafia-induced hiatus. Mafia is a fun game, but man is it a diary wrecker! I do have the next Championship Wrestling written up and it will be posted shortly (just need to get the graphics in place), along with a post-show narrative post. Hopefully I'll be able to get back in the swing of things!
I just spit the partially chewed egg roll from Jack in the Box I was eating all over the screen in the maintenance shop at work. That is why I love this diary and these forums. I know what you mean about the game wrecking havoc on your diary. Now I must go find something to clean off this screen.

"I'm still in shock that you guys want to try me out. I'm still pretty raw at this." "Our philosophy has always been -- everyone has to start somewhere. Anyone with obvious athletic gifts, a desire to succeed in the business and a decent head on their shoulders, we feel like we can develop them as well as anyone in the industry. You seem to have those qualities in spades, young man." "Thank you, Mr. Stone. If you decide to take a chance on me, I won't let you down." We were talking in one of the arena's VIP lounges, where our most recent prospect had a bird's eye view of the evening's show. In many ways he was just the kind of young talent we were looking for -- athletic, a good look, and the added benefit of having had some informal training with Yodo Nakane, an old friend of Grandpa's from his wrestling days in the States, which was reflected in his suplex-centric ringwork. "Let's head down to the locker room and I'll introduce you to a few folks." "Sounds good to me." We chatted some more as we worked our way backstage. "So how did you get hooked up with Yodo Nakane as a trainer anyway? I didn't even realize he was back in the States." "My dad works for Kobe Electronics. When I was younger, he would go to Japan for business quite a bit, and in the summer Ma and I would go along. Kobe had a contract with PGHW, so we'd get free tickets to their tour shows fairly often, and it turned out that Dad and Yodo got to be friends. After Yodo retired he went to work for Kobe's public relations department. He still lives in Japan, but comes over every so often. After I recovered from my knee surgery, Dad managed to talk Yodo into teaching me the basics, since my football career was pretty much over at that point. I didn't even know he'd talked to you until you called me." We wandered from room to room, making introductions and engaging in small talk along the way. Eventually I ran into Kirk, who was talking with Uncle Duane in a corner. "Kirk! Uncle Duane! Got someone I want you to meet!" They turned to face us. Kirk, upon seeing us, widened his eyes, as if he recognized my companion. "Brandon??" "Kirk? My God, it IS you! What the hell are you doing HERE?" "Well, for one thing, that's my girlfriend you're with." Brandon blushed beet red. "Wait a minute, wait a minute. You guys know each other?" "Oh yeah, I was one of Kirk's counselors at Minnesota Tech Football Camp. Kirk was MinnTech's #1 in-state recruit his junior and senior year, they offered him a full ride scholarship, practically guaranteed him a starting job on the DL with a Top 10 football program that had a real shot at a national title, the whole kit'n'caboodle. And YET, he passed us over to go to Saint Knud of all places! I still don't get that one." Now Kirk was blushing. "To be honest, Brandon, it's complicated. But anyway, what about you? I know you withdrew from the draft after that Pomegranite Bowl injury and that you were a grad assistant at MinnTech after that." Brandon began to catch Kirk up on what he'd told me earlier. As Uncle Duane and I listened to the two catch up, I couldn't help but notice how deftly Kirk changed the subject; it hit me as I observed him do it to someone else just how frequently he had done the very same thing to me over the past few weeks. Even after we'd made up from our earlier fight, I hadn't pressed Kirk very hard on opening up about his family, and the couple of times I had brought it up he'd managed to do to me just what he did to Brandon just now. No wonder he liked that Mafia game so much, it played to his strengths when it came to controlling his image and message. I vowed to myself that I would not let him do that to me again the next time I had him alone.

Good show there 'Banger. Too bad Sean and RK let you down a little in the Main event. But a good show none the less. And not a big thing but the lime green that Sean's talking in is hard to see on the moniter in the shop. Like I said not a big thing. And no it doesn't have anything to do with the egg roll. I've already cleaned that off.

You know, you keep doing spit-takes in front of your computer (that's the second one you've confessed to in this diary), you're going to get in trouble. :p

I read the article Actarus put up in the 'In this Corner ' thread and reading it.....I had to check this one out, because it's NOTBPW, one of my favourite promotions in the cornellverse, yet before the article this one completely slipped under my radar. Perhaps it's the Generic title ? Anyway I have to agree with the poster, who said this was the forums hidden gems a few pages back, hopefully people like me will read Actarus' article and you'll get alot more readers coming to this one. The one minor criticism I would have is that sometimes you use font colours for promo's/discussions that are little too faint to read but that can be fixed with highlighting over. Now for a few comments on the booking I like the way you've presented the Ed Henson Cup, the group idea is pretty neat and it looks like you've built a strong enough Tag Division to be able to pull it off. You're not going to get MOTYC's out of R.K Hayes but I'm sure you know that. Personally I'd push Johnny Bloodstone as one of the top heel challengers to the NOTBPW Championship, over Hayes who I would phase into the 'Donnybrook' Division. But it's just a suggestion and it's up to you how you what direction you take things in. You've done the right thing getting rid of Mammoth and Alysian Scottfield, the first one is fat and useless (how did he ever get a job in NOTBPW ?) the other is over the hill (though I would have fired Mammoth before he even stepped foot in the ring....I know NOTBPW's starts with limited numbers, but there's nothing positive in keeping Mammoth around for even one day). Good to see you've worked out that Cavanagh sucks , I briefly had an NOTBPW diary going quite some time back now (before I settled on my Burning Hammer Diary) was crap for me also, he's just flat out crapness. The Kelowna Playaz might improve but probably not at that great a rate, keep them around if you want to give some of your mid-carders easy wins on the pre-show. And why 'Donnybrook' title...what in the world is a Donnybrook Title ? I've noticed the matches in that division are always 4-ways is that one of the stipulations of the belt ? Anyway all in all this a good read, keep up the good work with this one, as this board could do with an NOTBPW with legs.

Thanks for the kind and constructive words, Tigerkinney, they are much appreciated. To answer a couple of your questions: The Donnybrook Title is meant to be a "hardcore-lite" title. JerriLynn wants a legitimate hardcore division, but Grandpa won't let her.
don·ny·brook: –noun. an inordinately wild fight or contentious dispute; brawl; free-for-all.
To me it sounds like something Dan Sr. would come up with. I actually rather like the word myself; I remember it being used by Roger Miller, the old country singer and voice of the narrator in the Disney version of Robin Hood to describe the big fight after Robin Hood is exposed at the archery contest. And yes, one of the self-imposed stipulations I have for the title is that it cannot be defended in a singles match, at minimum it must be a triangle match. (The first Championship Wrestling show after Big City Brawl is where the title is introduced, and I explain it there.)

Somewhere deep in the bowels of my psyche, a war was raging. Reason, Common Sense and Self Control were valiantly trying to defend themselves in a six-woman Texas Tornado match against Bitchiness, Anger and Emo. The only problem was, the heels weren't fighting fair, they were "hormonally enhanced", so to speak. So much so that I didn't really remember throwing the glass that had once contained the milk I'd drank at breakfast. In fact, the entire span between sitting down at the computer and when Dad started yelling at me was kind of a blur. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!?!" I was ripped back into the moment. Oh God -- Dad NEVER used that voice with me. I'd heard him use it before with other people -- mostly Edd at home, or one of Dad's trainees at the gym, but Dad rarely raised his voice to me, and when he did, it was disciplined, controlled. Hearing that was the equivalent of Self Control taking a chair shot to the head. I looked at him and realized what had happened. I'd thrown the glass just as Dad was walking in the room; when the glass shattered against the wall by the door, he almost got a bunch of broken glass in the face. Luckily, he'd ducked and threw his arms up in time, and aside from one small scratch on his arm, he was unhurt. I looked at him as he glowered back at me. Meanwhile, back in my psyche, Emo had covered and hooked the leg of Self Control and the extistential referee counted one, two, three. I started bawling. Apparently, this took Dad by surprise. For a moment he stood there, dumbfounded. Then he came over to my chair and in a very different tone, asked, "Honey, what's going on? What's got you so worked up?" I was sobbing so hard that I couldn't get out any words. Tommy London here, and this is my new blog on NOTBPW.ca, London Calling! First off, I'd like to thank the staff at NOTBPW.ca for setting this up for me. To be honest, I'm pretty lousy when it comes to computers, I know just enough to be dangerous. So when they asked me to do a blog for the website, I was a little hesitant. (If you ever get the chance, ask Tom Towsend about how I accidentally destroyed his, ah, 'multimedia' collection when I unwittingly passed a virus to him!) But the technical team is first rate and they take care of all the details and I just worry about writing. So, what can you expect from London Calling? A little bit of everything, I suppose; interviews with NOTBPW superstars, an inside perspective on what's going on in NOTBPW, exclusive news and announcements, responding to questions, and more! First off, let's talk about the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup! We're just one week away and the card is shaping up! After last week's Championship Wrestling show, we have a much clearer picture of how the final round will look. Just to remind you of the current standings:
Group A: Stone Siblings 2-0 Flying Stones 2-0 The McWade Brothers 0-2 Hard Working Wild Men 0-2 Group B: Can-Am Blondes 2-0 Samoan Insanity 2-0 Flash and Hash 1-2 Kelowna Playaz 0-3
So at this point we know that the Can-Am Blondes, the Flying Stones, Samoan Insanity and the Stone Siblings will advance to the final round. In the fist stage of the final round, the first place team from Group A will face the second place team from Group B, and the first place team from Group B will face the second place team from Group A. So this week's group matches on Championship Wrestling are critical to get a good draw for the final round! The Can-Am Blondes will face off against Samoan Insanity, and in a rare treat, all four Stone brothers will be in the ring at one time, as Jeremy and Dan Jr meet Duane and Edd. In the final group stage match, Hard Working Wild Men will go against the McWade Brothers. Now just in case you think that the eliminated teams in the Cup have nothing to fight for, you couldn't be more wrong! I found out just a little bit ago that the Executive Committee has announced a Consolation Four-Way Tag match for the McWades, Flash and Hash, Hard Working Wild Men, and the new NOTBPW tag team of Coleman and Ferdinand as the opening match for the Cup pay-per-view show. The winner of that match will earn a Tag Title shot that they can claim anytime in the next three months! All right then, now that we have the Cup situation well in hand, I want to share with you something you DIDN'T see on Championship Wrestling last Wednesday. As you may recall, Stephanie Hazel defeated young JeriLynn Stone during the first hour of the show, but apparently things didn't end there -- check out this EXCLUSIVE NOTBPW.ca video clip from backstage after that match... --- [JeriLynn Stone is sitting on a bench in the locker room, holding an icepack to her shoulder and wincing in pain. Now if I'm such a loser, what does that make you, I wonder? Emma Bitch: [Her smug look disappears and she leans down to get in JeriLynn's face] You got lucky, you little twat, and you know it. And it was fun to watch Stephanie prove it by spanking you in the ring like the spoiled little brat you are. JeriLynn Stone: Prove what? That you need that witch Hazel to do what you can't? [At this point, Stephanie Hazel walks into the camera shot] Stephanie Hazel: Emmy, did I hear correctly? Did this little girl call me a witch? Emma Bitch: You did, Steph. Apparently you went too easy on her out there, she still doesn't know her place. JeriLynn Stone: My place? You sound like a bad imitation of the popular clique in prep school. [Bitch and Hazel look at each other, then rush JeriLynn, knocking her off the bench. After a brief struggle, Bitch pulls JeriLynn up and pins her arms behind her back. Hazel gets up in JeriLynn's face.] Stephanie Hazel: We ARE a clique, my dear. We're the Bitch Clique. And you are DEFINITELY not 'in'. [Stephanie slaps JeriLynn across the face. She reaches back to slap JeriLynn again when from off-camera a hand grabs Stephanie's arm and spins her around. The camera pans left and we see Victoria Stone with an angry look on her face.] [Victoria Stone and Stephanie Hazel stare at each other for a moment, then attack each other. In the meantime, JeriLynn pushes Emma Bitch backwards into the lockers; the impact forces Emma to release her hold on JeriLynn. The four women fight for a minute or so until Bitch Clique retreats out of the locker room, leaving Victoria to tend to her niece as the camera fades to black.] --- In the aftermath of that incident, I've been told that Victoria and JeriLynn have demanded a match with Bitch Clique at the Cup, and they are getting it! Well, it's time for me to sign off for now -- if you've got any questions that you'd like me to answer in future editions of London Calling, submit them here to NOTBPW.ca and I'll reply to as many of them as I can here on the blog. This Week's Masters of the Squared Circle Lineup: Gregg Boone vs Insane Machine The Playaz are pretty poor and should only be used as jobbers. Stephanie Hazel vs Victoria Stone Hazel will win via some method of cheating to keep the feud interesting. Loving the name for her team with Emma Bitch....'Bitch Clique' :) 'Remarkable' Steve Flash vs The Natural I like Flash but he's at that stage of his career where he should be putting be putting people over. Jungle Jack vs Duane Stone Jungle Jack could be a force somewhere down the road, but at this stage of the game, I see the Stone taking the win. Dan Stone Jr vs R.K. Hayes Dan Stone Jr should be gradually brought back into the Title picture, once the Ed Henson cup is finished with, whilst Hayes should be gradually phased out, and no better place to start than now. Jeremy Stone vs Dark Angel Dark Angel has a Title match coming up, so will need to look strong, a win over Jeremy Stone will certainly do that. Sean McFly vs Johnny Bloodstone (NOTBPW Heavyweight Title Match) I like Bloodstone and he could make an excellent heel champ eventually, but Titles rarely change hands (especially the main title) on a regular T.V Show. This Week's Championship Wrestling Lineup: Victoria Stone vs Emma Bitch Stone gets a win back here, over Bitch Clique, this time following interference from Jeri-Lynn as the Stone Seductresses get some measure of revenge before their PPV showdown. I have to say you've actually made the womens division fairly interesting with this angle. Frankie Perez vs Johnny Bloodstone Bloodstone bounces back from his loss in the World Title match Hard Working Wild Men vs. The McWade Brothers (Quest for the Cup Match) A meaningless match, but Hard Working Wild Men seem to have more of an upside and seem to be part of the future direction of the promotion more than The McWades. Samoan Insanity vs The Can-Am Blondes (Quest for the Cup Match) The Blondes will win here to go to 3-0,as the Tag champs will look like the team to beat going into the PPV. Tim Westybrook vs Jacob Jett vs Shooter Sean Deeley (NOTBPW Donnybrook Title Match) Westybrook holds onto the 'brawlers' title...simply because he's a brawler and the other two aren't. Jett is a spot monkey with training and Deeley is a very competent technician but not the right man to be carrying the Donnybrook title. The Flying Stones vs The Stone Siblings (Quest for the Cup Match) I smell a slight upset, as the Stone Siblings take their younger brothers a tad too lightly, with the joint favourites (along with the Tag champs) now looking vunerable going into the PPV. Sean McFly vs Dark Angel (NOTBPW Heavyweight Title Match) As I said with the Bloodstone defence, titles rarely change hands on PPV, but I can perhaps see something like McFly retaining on a count-out or DQ, perhaps Bloodstone gets involved and really turns the World Title feud between McFly and Dark Angel into a 3-way feud. I'm not making predictions on the PPV, as the card for that is not fully formed
