Ring Of Honor: A Bid Farewell

Recommended Posts

Backstory To Ring Of Honor
Ring Of Honor debuted in 2002 and has made a large impact on professional wrestling all over the world. ROH has made it's presence known in America, England, and Japan. Ring Of Honor has seen many faces come through it's lockeroom and many have become some of the biggest in the business. Paul London, AJ Styles, Brian Kendrick, CM Punk, just to name a few. None of those names meant as much as that of one man. That man is Samoa Joe and he has recently left Ring Of Honor to focus on TNA. Samoa Joe could be the most influential star to ever work in ROH. This bid farewell could either make or break ROH, and that is where the journey starts. A few quick notes, decent start but... Since when did ROH run every Thursday, or even any Thursday for that matter Events are all wrong, no UK double shot, Fifth Year Festival etc It's Crist not Christ for Irish Airborne Kid Mikaze seemed to leave ROH quite a while ago now Is it No Remorse Core or Corps because Core sounds sucky and they keep saying Corps everywhere i see Alex Shelley has been gone for a very long time from ROH Adam Pearce a main eventer!!! :s Kevin Steen is more a loer midcarder, as is Ricky Reyes I wouldn't say Nigel McGuinness was a heel, he's a heel against Joe but teaming with Cabana and feuding with Rave etc are all face tendencies Chad Collyer has been gone since last August Salvatore Rinauro aint been seen in quite a long time Larry Sweeney is a manager/super agent to Chris Hero not an active wrestler in ROH Delirious is a midcarder, maybe even upper midcarder Jerrelle Clark hasn't been around ina while Shingo Takagi goes by just SHINGO and is higher than an opener Becky Bayless is under the name Rebecca Bayless as a abckstage interviewer It's Sara Del Rey Cappetta is backstage interviewer not announcer Jared David left when Lenny Leonard came back Dave Prazak isnt heel Les Thatcher i don't think works with them anymore Quite a few people missing from the roster that are regulars these days like Tank Toland, Pelle Primeau and such good start but could do with some improvement

Wrestling News From Monday, Week 1, March
WWE RAW Results and Rating Rob Conway def. Mickie James to retain the WWE Women's Title Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair def. World's Greatest Tag Team John Cena drew with Randy Orton to retain the WWE Title WWE RAW was able to pull of a pretty good rating with a 32.81 on the USA Network. This led the USA Network to 4th place for Monday's ratings. WWE Roster Moves WWE made some roster moves Monday, but they were not significant. Stevie Richards moved to RAW, Cade and Murdoch went to Smackdown!, and Daivari moved over to the RAW brand. WWE is looking to get this guys in the loop, but still not major changes. TNA iMPACT! Sting, Kurt Angle, and AJ Styles to retain the NWA World Heavyweight Title Major WWE and TNA Releases WWE has went on a firing spree, and this is quite possibly the biggest firing day in WWE history. They released some moderatly big stars on their roster and some backstage workers. The following were released by the WWE Monday: Vickie Guerrero Little Bastard Trinity Josh Matthews Todd Grisham Jonathan Coachman Chad Patton Jim Korderas Mike Chioda Theodore Long Brooke Torrie Wilson Sgt. Slaughter Gerald Briscoe TNA also had a release Monday with the release of Frankie Kazarian. Kazarian had been in Raven's faction and had been said to be promising. Now Kazarian is going to be working full-force for Pro Wrestling Guerrilla. Various Notes On Japanese Wrestling New Japan Pro Wrestling droped the brand split from the company and will become combined once more. This has been said to be a smart idea from NJPW getting ready for a total takeover of Japan. Also in New Japan Pro Wrestling news, Marty Asami was released from his contract because he was just a space taker and a waste of money. Asami worked as a backstage consultant and referee in his tenure with NJPW.
CM Punk ECW on Sci-Fi got a decent 15.2 in it's first showing of March. This is a increase from any of last months shows. It is said that the recent roster moves have helped ECW out. WWE With More Roster Moves It became apparent on last night's ECW on Sci-Fi that Umaga and Kane have switched to ECW. This will help the woes of the recent programming the ECW brand has put out there. More Firings From WWE WWE has continued their firing spree with a good amount of more cuts. This group includes more divas than last time, which could be a sign of WWE ending their T&A ways. The roster cuts include the following people: Jillian Hall Kelly Kelly Ashley Kristal Marshall Paul Heyman Scott Armstrong Chris Kay Jack Doan Candice Michelle Maria Kanellis Lillian Garcia John Laurinatis Pat Patterson DSW Title Change Too Cold Scorpio made a tremendous debut in WWE's developmental promotion, Deep Sout Wrestling. Scorpio's debut match was against Derrick Neikirk for the DSW Heavyweight Title. Scorpio was able to get the gold and it looks like Scorpio will become the new top-man in DSW. Japanese Wrestling Update New Japan Pro Wrestling has signed Sonny Onoo. Onoo is a skilled martial artist, but now he will play a part as an announcer with NJPW. This hiring may be huge for NJPW, but recent uprising of NOAH in Japan could render this add useless.
The following stars off the WWE roster were released from their contracts: Michelle McCool Queen Sharmell Cherry Mick Foley Donald Trump Arn Anderson Dean Malenko
Ring Of Honor Fatal Steps Preview and Card For Thursday
This week's ROH show culminates from the Amazura Concert Hall in Jamaica, New York. This card has a lot at stake as there will be the ROH Tag Team Titles on the line. Also, Austin Aries will get his revenge on the No Remorse Corps by facing Davey Richards and hand-picking Roderick Strong's opponent for the evening. ROH Fatal Steps a presentation of Ring Of Honor wrestling. The card goes as follows: #1 Contendership For The ROH Tag Team Titles Brent Albright and Jimmy Jacobs vs. The Kings Of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) Three-Way Carnage Adam Pearce vs. Kevin Steen vs. Jack Evans Aries' Revenge Davey Richards vs. Austin Aries ROH Tag Team Title Match The Briscoe Brothers(c) vs. Matt Sydal and Christopher Daniels Aries' Revenge II Roderick Strong vs. ??? #1 Contendership For The ROH Tag Team Titles Brent Albright and Jimmy Jacobs vs. The Kings Of Wrestling (Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli) Time for The Kings of Wrestling to reclaim their spot after the Double C-WWE dibocal. Three-Way Carnage Adam Pearce vs. Kevin Steen vs. Jack Evans Gotta go with Steen on this one, the man is a beast. Aries' Revenge Davey Richards vs. Austin Aries Aries will get his revenge against Davey, then we will see the Aries vs. Roddy match. ROH Tag Team Title Match The Briscoe Brothers(c) vs. Matt Sydal and Christopher Daniels The Briscoes are the best tag team in ROH by far, and they will not lose their titles right back to who they won them from. Aries' Revenge II Roderick Strong vs. ??? (Hand-picked by Austin Aries) I think Roddy will go over in this one setting up a Strong vs. Aries matchup which would be a classic. #1 Contendership For The ROH World Heavyweight Title 4-Way Match Homicide vs. Alex Shelley vs. Jimmy Rave vs. Nigel McGuinness Homicide needs his return match against Morishima, even though he will get destroyed by him.

Also Kings of Wrestling split up and are in a while storyline you seem to of randomly dropped. In others thoughts, not to put a finer point on it, you seem to be one ofthose writers that practically beg for predictions but once someone offers constructive criticism (Which in fact any of the half decent diary writers like to get as it aids improvement) you get all defensive and resort to some sort of flaming technique. Why would i be bitter, in honesty i could write an ROH diary that would wipe the floor with yours and would be much more realistic, anyone from .400 might remember my ROH diary there that went for a long time indeed. Anyways, i know you will reply with your standard "HE's Bitter" remark, but what the heck i've had my two cents. I'll even throw in some friendly predictions Albright and Jacobs - Hero suddenly realises before the match that he is with Sweeney now and not Claudio and thus doesn't show up leaving Claudio to fight alone. Jack Evans Davey - He has to win even if its by cheating because Aries to beat Davey then beat Strong and whoops, any feud heat dies a death Briscoes Roderick Strong - X should really be friends with Aries in some way rather than randomly throwing Abyss in there or something Nigel - going on recent form he's the most logical choice, plus Shelley will realise he doesn't work here anymore and it'll be a three way. Have Fun

I'm not gonna turn this into a load of flaming, fact of the matter is, i offered constructive advice, you came off as an ass and are so much of a tool that you practically beg for predictions. You will never be a half decent diary writer if you don't put the effort and research in, if you tried to put something like this out at Corporation-X or EWB or somewhere you would most likely get laughed out of the diary section. The only thing to make this complete (disaster wise) would be for you to copy and paste your results from TEW. Thats all i have to say, want to say anything more then pm me.

You know what?...I've been thinking about it, and well forlan is kind of right. Yeah, I'll admit it. So, I'm going to update ROH a lot and come back with this diary fine tuned. So look for this diary up and running again in about a day or two with a better roster and schedule.
