Jeremy Stone (Pop: A*, Record: 42-5-33, Avg Match Rating: B+) Consistantly putting on the best matches in the whole of North America, the legendary Jeremy Stone won his fifth NOTBPW International Title, when he was the one to finally unseat Sean McFly from the top of the NOTBPW mountain. That title win has since gone to the oldest Stones head who has turned on the fans and his brother Dan Stone Jr (Is there something in the water this year- both Canadian companies have their families turning on each other). Stone also won the Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team cup again with Dan Stone Jr (though with neither of them on the same page right now, it will be interesting to see if they defend the cup in 2008's event). 2. Sean McFly (Pop: B+, Record: 32-1-20, Avg Match Rating: B) McFly held onto the International title for a staggeringly impressive 17 months before finally being beaten for the title in a MOTYC by Jeremy Stone at September Scramble. Since that loss however McFly has gone into a bit of a slump. Many behind the scenes feel McFly is being despushed and with his contract coming up for renewal in the new year, it is unsure whether or not Dan Stone is willing to meet McFly's wage demands. 3. Dan Stone Jr (Pop: A*, Record: 46-5-15, Avg Match Rating: B) Another strong year for the eternally popular mainstay of the NOTBPW roster. DSJ won yet another Ed Henson Tag Team Cup in March and was a constant threat to win the International title, he now appears to be feuding with his brother Jeremy Stone over not only the International Title but also who is the 'best' Stone sibling. 4. Duane Stone (Pop: A*, Record: 43-3-18, Avg Match Rating: B) Actually make that Stones feud a three way feud as Duane Stone really elevated himself into the NOTBPW International Title picture by the end of the year. Reached the Ed Henson Tag Team cup finals with Edd Stone (where the younger Stone pairing, lost to their older brothers), but there is a real feeling that 2008 could the year Duane Stone finally achieves singles glory by winning the International Title. 5. Owen Love (Pop: A. Record: 56-2-12. Avg Match Rating: C+) Held onto the tag titles all year, despite the fact that himself and his partner Damian Carvill have also been feuding over the X-Division Title, which resulted in Love been a double champion for three months. 6. Damian 'The Natural' Carvill (Pop: A, Record: 38-1-47. Avg Match Rating: C+) Carvill actually had 2 reigns with the singles belt the tag champions have been feuding over, though his first reign only lasted one week and he spent the good proportion of the year trying to win back the belt from firstly Dark Angel (the man he lost the belt to) and then Owen Love. Since September the roles have reversed and Love is now chasing Carvill for the title, whilst they put on an occasional Tag Title defence. 7. Johnny Bloodstone (Pop: A, Record: 19-0-11, Avg Match Rating: C+) Wasn't quite to get himself into a regular contention for the NOTBPW International Title and with Jeremy Stone turning heel and the Stones generally dominating the top of the NOTBPW heap, there is a feeling that NOTBPW are slightly holding back on a full blown push for the submission demon. 8. Edd Stone (Pop: B, Record: 35-2-32, Avg Match Rating: B-) The self proclaimed Party Animal reached the Ed Henson Cup finals and even had a couple of shots at the International Title during McFly's title reign. Since the second half of the year however Edd has been slowly dropping down the card and appears to have been the forgotten stone. Many feel that with his high flying ability he should concentrate more on competing for the X-Division title. 9. Dark Angel (Pop: B, Record: 16-0-1. Avg Match Rating: C+) The veteran super-junior with the mysterious, gothic style gimmick won the X-Division title in March, and his win and subsequent title defences began to bring prestige to a title that was in a bit of a slump with the quite frankly not ready to be a champion Harrison Hash holding the title. However he seriously got injured at a Golden Canvas show in June and was forced to vacate the title. 10. Tim Westybrook (Pop: B+, Record: 29-0-8. Avg Match Rating: C) The big brawler had a strong year amongst the NOTBPW mid-card, coming out on tops in feuds with the likes of the McWade brothers and R.K Hayes. He also scored an upset win over former champion Sean McFly towards the end of the year, but with The Stones and even Johnny Bloodstone ahead of him in the International Title pecking order, Westybrook might find it difficult to break into the main event for the forseeable future. NOTBPW Womens Division Worker of the Year: Victoria Stone (Pop: B+, Record: 20-1-14, Avg Match Rating: C-) The bosses daugther and head booker of NOTBPW , was a perennial challenger for the Womens title over the course of the year and goes into the new year with the title once again round her waist. ___________________________________________________________ O.O.C Rant: CPU Worker Popularity I probably shouldn't get infuriated about this, but everyone in NOTBPW seems to be inexplicably popular. There is something just a bit irritating when a company with booking as predictable and at times head-scratchingly terrible can somehow make virtually everyone in the top half of their roster into 'stars'. On the other hand I don't book the same match-ups 300 times over, have layered unpredicable booking , yet it's hard work to get some of my workers up to something like a B in overness, or it's like you put some one over and all of a sudden your main eventer that was an A drops to a B. This is obviously an area where the CPU bookers have an advantage over you as a player, keeping everyone popular, even though their booking sucks. Grandmaster Phunk (Pop: C-, C in Tri-State, Record: 8-0-0, Avg Match Rating: C-) The former manager turned Wrestler continued to be the top man in NYCW as he saw off challenges for the NYCW Empire Title from the likes of Whistler and American Machine. However in September he left NYCW, vacating the title when he could not agree terms with the cash-strapped company on a new contract. 2. Owen Love (Pop: C+, Record: 5-0-0, Avg Match Rating: C- NYCW seemed to have a scored something of a coup when they persuased the then dual NOTBPW X-Division and Tag Team champion to join their roster, and when Grandmaster Phunk left they put the belt on someone who they felt could put on a good main events, and Love's title feud with Black Hat Bailey were amongst the best wrestling fans had seen in NYCW for some time. However the struggling old-school promotion once again ended up with egg on their face when a champion, left the company without putting someone else over. 3. Black Hat Bailey (Pop: C-, Record: 5-0-7, Avg Match Rating: C-) The former SWF mid-card mainstay and current head booker of NYCW, ended the year losing alot to Owen Love, but on a positive notes those matches were for the NYCW Empire Title and they were amongst the best contests NYCW had put on in years. 4. Whistler (Pop: D+, Record: 6-0-6, Avg Match Rating: C-) Whilst Black Hat Bailey was Owen Love's personal whipping boy towards the back end of the year, the patriotic blue-collar brawler Whistler was Phunk's personal title-match jobber throughout the first two thirds of 2007. Since then Whistler has been rebuilding his momentum and credentials as a title challenger, going unbeaten since September 5. Honest Frank (Pop: D-, D in Tri-State, Record: 10-0-2. Avg Match Rating: D+) The burly brawler beat Steve Flash for the Tri-State Regional title in May and has since gone on to make six succesful defences of NYCW's secondary singles title. ___________________________________________________________________________ Rhode Island Pro Wrestling Homebase: USA (New England) Behind the scenes/Non Wrestling staff Owner: Professor Nero, Head Booker: Shane Sneer Commentary Team: Rob L Miskovsky & Shane Sneer Road Agent: Professor Nero / Referee: David Poker Managers and Valets: B.J O'Neill (Valet of Kentucky Bill) Brains McGhee (Manager of Atlas) Popularity: USA: E - in New England, F- Everywhere else Rest of the World: F- Finance: $ 887 621 / Prestige: D- In: Puerto Rican Power (April-Signed SWF Developmental contract) Out: None Champion Roll Call RIPW Championship Valiant (Current since September 2006) RIPW Tag Team The Heartbreakers (Raphael & Justin Sensitive) (Current since October 2006) Notes: Belts were only defended twice during 2007, as RIPW concentrated on singles competion. Top 5 Workers in RIPW during 2007 1. Valiant (Pop: E, D+ in New England, Record: 9-1-2, Avg Match Rating: D) Valiant managed to hold on to the RIPW Championship throughout 2007, as he got the better of rival Nevada Nuclear in a year long feud. Many feel that had SWF not fallen on difficult times this year, he would have likely seen a call up to the 'big leagues' towards the end of 2007. 2. Nevada Nuclear (Pop: E+, D in New England, Record: 5-1-6, Avg Match Rating: D) The Radioactive Wrecking Machine was the main challenger for the RIPW Championship but was unable to get the better of thr All-American Hero Valiant. 3. Puerto Rican Power (Pop: D, Record: 6-0-3, Avg Match Rating: D) Having garnered legendary status in his native Puerto Rico, Puerto Rican power is now looking to crack mainland America. He signed a developmental contract with SWF in March and will be hoping to eventually make it to their main roster. Thus far in RIPW Power has been given an immediate main event push where he has made two challenges for the RIPW Championship. 4. John Greed (Pop: F+, D- in New England, Record: 6-0-4, Avg Match Rating: E+) The Lucha-Libre influenced Cruiserweight had a solid if unspectacular year in RIPW, as he got the better of tag champion Justin Sensitive, but was unable to move up into RIPW Championship contention. 5. Mikey James (Pop: E-, E+ in New England, Record: 7-0-5, Avg Match Rating: E+) The athletic youngster with the Martial-Arts gimmick was probably amongst the best of the mid-carders during 2007, getting the better of Kentucky Bill in a solid under-card feud. James is actually amongst the RIPW roster not on an SWF developmental contract, and as talented as he is it's hard to imagine someone of his style working in an SWF ring. ___________________________________________________________________________ Ring of Fire Homebase: United Kingdom (Midlands) Behind the scenes/Non Wrestling staff Owner: British Samurai , Head Booker: Arson Wells Commentary Team: Justin Blackham & Arson Wells Road Agent: Darius Hughes, Referee: Humphrey Woolsey Managers and Valets: Peaches McCream (Not a manager, but is employed as a backstage interviewer during ROF's pod-casts) _______________________________________ Popularity: U.K: E- in Midlands, F+ in South & North, F in Scotland Rest of the World: F- Finance: $ 15 063 / Prestige: F+ __________________________________________ In: Razor Valentine (January) Out: Billy Robinson (December- Released), Eric Future (December- Released), Merle O'Curle (December- Released), Petey Barnes (December- Released) Champion Roll Call ROF Championship U.K Dragon (Current since July 2006) ROF Talisman Billy Robinson (December 2006- April 2007) K'Lee Hawkins (April - October 2007) British Samurai (Current Since October 2007) ROF Tag Team Absolutely Flawless (Lance Martin & Kelly Martin) (Current since November 2006) Top 5 Workers in ROF during 2007 1. U.K Dragon (Pop: D, C- in Midlands, Record: 6-0-0, Avg Match Rating: C-) The current ROF champion only appeared on half of their events due to his Japanese commitments, but he was dominant when he did turn up and his reign with the belt has now stretched to 18 months. 2. Razor Valentine (Pop: D-. D in Midlands, Record: 5-1-6, Avg Match Rating: D+) The martial artist joined ROF at the beginning of the year and kept himself in title contention throughout the year. 3. British Samurai (Pop: E+, Record: 5-0-7, Avg Match Rating: D) The ROF owner was unsuccesful in his attempts to win the ROF Championship towards the beginning of the year. He lowered his sights in the second half, resulting in him winning the companies secondary singles belt the ROF Talsman title. 4. Johnny Highspot (Pop: D, Record: 9-1-2. Avg Match Rating: D+) The high flier had a strong year with wins over the likes of Razor Valentine, Walter Morgan and Briish Samurai, despite this though he was not given a chance to compete for the ROF Championship. Given his momentum he will surely be a contender in 2008. 5. K'Lee Hawkins (Pop: E+, Record: 7-1-4, Avg Match Rating: D-) A reliable fixture in the ROF midcard Hawkins beat Billy Robinson (surpisingly released at the end of the year for the Talisman title- renamed from the #1 Contenders Trophy when Hawkins won the belt) and held the title until October, when he was beaten by British Samurai. Worth a Mention Merle O'Curle- Merle might not be the most charismatic worker around, but you would think if he could be a star performer in any company it would be in a 'Pure' wrestling promotion like ROF. But all he found was the same treatment as he got whilst he was in 21CW being used as technically sound worker to put other workers over. In December he was part of 4 surprising releases, that included former Talisman champion Billy Robinson and the Future-X Tag Team of Petey Barnes and Eric Future. With decisions being made like this, I predict ROF will go to the wall next year. Actually, with decisions like this, they deserve to go to the wall. O.O.C Note : Some of ROF's newer workers that were created later such as The Tribe and Sharp and Heath were imported into the game, but naturally are currently having to make do with working the British Independent shows. ____________________________________________________________________________ Pro Wrestling SAISHO Homebase: Japan (Tohoku) Behind the scenes/Non Wrestling staff Owner: Sadakuno Nishimuraya , Head Booker: Hirokazu Yamanoue Announcer: Teriuhi Inoue Road Agent: Sadakuno Nishimuraya/ Referee: Tsutome Watnabe Popularity: Japan: Tohoku: E-, All other Regions F Rest of the World: F- Finance: $ 81 297 / Prestige:E- In: Hitomaro Suzuki (March- PGHW Developmental contract), Dean Daniels (August-PGHW Developmental contract) In and Out: Julian Watson (Joined in July, Left in December, lost all his matches, yet had 2 Destiny title shots). Ended the year as a double champion when he teamed up with Hitomaro Suzuki to win the Destiny Tag Titles in November. 2. Torajiro Sekzowa (Pop: D, Record: 7-0-4, Avg Match Rating: D+) The unpredictable brawler chased Yamanoue for the Destiny title throughout the spring and summer before finally getting the better of the burly technician to win his first SAISHO Destiny Title in September. 3. Gonnohyoe Kada (Pop: E, E+ in Tohoku, Record: 5-0-6. Stone Yoshikawa (Pop: E-, D+ in Tohoku, Record: 9-0-3. Avg Match Rating: D+) Held the tag titles for over a year with Torch Nakasawa, and is generally considered to be on one of the most promising young talents under a PGHW developmental contract. Despite his cruiserweight size he is technically solid and could make a success of himself in PGHW, if and when he gets the call up 5. Hitomaro Suzuki (Pop: E, D in Tohoku, Record: 7-0-2, Avg Match Rating: D+) PGHW officials saw this promising youngster working for INSPIRE and signed him away from the Hybrid company in March. Further developing his skills in SAISHO, he has already found success when he teamed up with Hirokazu Yamanoue to win the Destiny Tag Titles. Many insiders think he could make the leap to the PGHW roster as early as next year.

I agree with your analysis on NotBPW, by the way. I'm not sure if the worker overness for other feds plays by teh same rules as we do... you just don't see a lot of downward overness in guys in SWF who are getting jobbed out literally week after week to the same people. It is frustrating, but on the other hand the computer wrestling feds don't really do anything unpredictable, they just plod along at the same pace. The AI has come a long way over the various iterations of TEW, but the behavior of the other federations w/r/t booking, while much improved, is still something of a work in progress. Don't tell Adam I said that.
Are you kayfabing some of these managerial, staff roles or is there actually a way to see who is managing who in the in game editor?
No sadly there is not a way of seeing who is managing who in the game editor, so I am just using my imagination. I did actually suggest this a few months back as a new type of relationship in the suggestions thread a few months back.

Yoshimi Mushashibo (Pop: A, Record: 42-1-6. Avg Match: B+) Mushashibo may have had his Glory Crown reign ended just short of the one year mark by Eisaku Kunomasu in July but he added yet more Silverware when he achieved a 'cup double' winning both the Elite Series and Elite Tag Series, as he once again re-formed Team Dynasty 2000 with Shuji Inukai for the annual bid to win the prestigious Tag Team tournament. 2. Eisaku Kunomasu (Pop: B+, Record: 34-2-12. Avg Match Rating: B) A perennial contender for the last few years Kunomasu hasn't quite been able to win that Elusive Glory Crown to really cement his legacy in PGHW, that is until now when he was able to end the near Year long reign of Yoshimi Mushashibo, and he goes into 2008 on the back of his own 6 month long title reign. Add to that reaching the finals of the Elite Tag Series with Samoan Machine and in all in all you could say it was a very succesful year for the current Glory Crown holder. 3. Shuji Inukai (Pop: B+, Record: 26-2-13, Avg Match Rating: B) Was a consistant contender for the Glory Crown, challenging for the title on 8 separate occasions, however the highlight of his year had to be when he once again teamed up Yoshimi Mushashibo to win the Elite Tag Series 4. Nobuatso Tatsuko (Pop: A, Record: 15-2-17. Avg Match Rating: B) Tatsuko was once again a fixture near the top of PGHW shows all year, challenging for the Glory Crown six times and reaching the finals of the Elite Series, where he lost to then Glory Crown champion Yoshimi Mushashibo. 5. Mito Miwa (Pop: B+, Record: 22-1-28, Avg Match Rating: B) The Glory Crown Champion throughout 2005 and much of 2006, Miwa was actually given more Glory Crown title shots more than any other competior (12 in total), but so far has been unable to get the job done when it mattered against either Mushashibo or Kunomasu. Many PGHW fans feel that perhaps he has had too many shots now, and it's time for him to move over for someone else. 6. Buddy Garner (Pop: B+, Record: 28-1-10, Avg Match Rating: B) The former MMA star Buddy Garner is one such worker fans feel should be getting a title shot, he posted up a strong winning record getting the better of most of the upper mid-card and he even scored an upset non-title win over Mushashibo back in March, yet he did not see one single Glory Crown Title shot. 7. PRIDE Koiso (Pop: B-, Record: 35-0-18, Avg Match Rating: B-) Koiso wasn't quite able to make that leap from dependable mid-carder to main event calibre star this year, but that might be because PGHW held back on pulling the trigger for a sustained singles push for the promising protege of Nobuatso Tatsuko and instead kept his focus on the tag ranks, where his team with Kozue Kawashima held the Glory Tag Crown until November. 8. Kozue Kawashima (Pop: C+, Record: 43-0-10, Avg Match Rating: C+) One of the most exciting young talents on the PGHW roster and someone many fans feel will be a future main eventer, Kawashima along with Pride Koiso saw an impressive 14 month reign with the Glory Tag Crown end in November when they lost the belts to the team of Aknori Kwakami & Pistol Pete Hall. He also started the year as the holder of the Rising Star Title, which he held until May before dropping it to Tetsuori Yasuda. 9. Akinori Kwakami (Pop: C+, Record: 30-1-21. Avg Match Rating: B-) One of PGHW's most consistant mid-carders throughout the year Kwakami was rewarded for his efforts when he teamed up with PGHW new-comer (but general Gaijin legend) Pistol Pete Hall to win the Glory Tag Crown in November-ending the 14 month reign of Koiso & Kawashima. Can't decide on a Number 10- Honestly I can't decide who should be in the 10 spot for PGHW, there are many canidates each have their own upsides and downsides: Bryan Vessey- Currently the most popular (B+), he also consistantly put up the best matches , often treating fans to a reformation of the Vessey Brothers Tag Team. On the other hand he did not feature in any title matches all year and was little more than an upper mid-card side attraction. Raymond Diaz- Put up a strong win-loss record (22-2-16) but spent much of the year padding that out with wins over mid-carders and like fellow Gaijin vessey did not challenge for any titles. Alexander Robinson- Held the Historic Japan title for 4 months between April and July making 17 defences, but was unable to rise above the mid-card. Pistol Pete Hall & Li Bingci- Both of these joined in November but both quickly tasted success winning the Glory Tag Crown & Historic Japan titles respectively. Samoan Machine- Joined PGHW in March and has proved to be solid mid-carder, teamed up with current Glory Crown champion Eisaku Kunomasu to reach the Elite Tag Series finals.

The Great Hisato (Pop: C+, Record: 65-3-39, Avg Match Rating: C+) In a promotion where titles are moved around like hot potatoes (there were one week transitional reigns for both the tag and Show Stealer Titles)....The Great Hisato managed to put together one of the most solid title runs all year when he held the Universal Title for aorund 3 months between February and May putting together 13 title defences. With the conniving Mito Miwa as his advisor and mouth-piece and with Dark Eagle now gone (and the Circle of Blood disbanded) as of right now many are viewing Hisato as the top heel in WLW. 3. The Incredible Koyama (Pop: C, Record: 68-0-34, Avg Match Rating: C) Koyama hasn't quite been able to make the leap up to competing for the more prestigious Universal Title, but he did have an outstanding year at the top of WLW's mid-card. The promising young talent started the year a double champion, and even though he had lost both the Showstealer and Tag Titles by April, by the end of the year he was a three time Showstealer champion and he goes into 2008 as the holder of WLW's secondary singles belt. 4. Emerald Angel (Pop: C+, Record: 56-3-40, Avg Match Rating: C+) One of the most naturally gifted and popular members on the WLW roster, Emerald Angel added as second WLW Universal title reign to his many accomplishments in WLW and he's still only 21 !! He goes into the new year as the Universal Champion and after a somewhat up and down 2007, will be hoping to continue is current momentum, as he looks to end the hot potato curse of the WLW titles and put together a strong title reign. 5. Dark Eagle (Pop: C, Record: 55-5-32, Avg Match Rating: C+) Things were really looking up for in WLW for Dark Eagle and the Circle of Blood, with their leader winning the Universal Title in May. Eagle then lost the belt in August and from there things began to fall apart, as the Circle of Blood imploded on themselves and Dark Eagle quit WLW when he lost a 2/3 falls match to Emerald Angel for the Universal Title. The truth was that Eagle could not come to terms with WLW over his new contract. Worth a Mention: WLW had quite a few other notable performers during 2007 Awesome Thunder- The nearly man of 2007, the well rounded veteran was unable to add a seventh Universal title reign, despite 10 title shots. Haru Kurofuji- The WLW head booker held both the Tag and Showstealer titles during 2007 Barei Yasujiro- Carried over as the Universal champion from 2006, but was soon to lose the title in February. He remained as a main even threat but was unable to come to terms over a new contract and left WLW in May, is currently sitting it out at home waiting for the right offer. Silver Shark- I let go of this guy from Burning Hammer after the first tour, though competent I saw him a little more than an expendable jobber and not a particularly cheap or young one at that, but obviously WLW see something in him...as he managed to hold the Showstealer title on 2 separate occasions. U.K Dragon & Magnum Kobe- Collectively known by their team name of Straight and True, the current tag team champions are putting together a strong reign having held the belts since August. __________________________________________________________________________ WEXVV The eternally struggling Garbage fed went bankrupt in October.
Barei Yasujiro (May- Did not come to terms over new contract)
This happened to me in my first WLW dynasty, caused me to completely juggle my title picture and have Yasujiro drop the belt about a month earlier then I wanted. I'm really enjoying these write ups and I am looking forward to the new tour for BHOTWG!

Here are the final 2 promotion profiles SWF and TCW- the two biggest companies in the U.S. The two biggest promotions in North America both fell to cult size around April, whilst SWF have continued to struggle. TCW re-grouped solidifed their popularity in Canada and then rebuilt up enough overness in the U.S to leap all the way up to International Size. Supreme Wrestling Federation Homebase: USA (New England) Behind the scenes/Non Wrestling staff Owner: Richard Eisen , Head Booker: Eric Eisen Notes: Eric Eisen took over as head-booker from Sam Keith, not much of a suprise given SWF's fall to Cult Size. Steve Frehley (Pop:A*, Record: 29-1-5, Avg Match Rating: C+) The Dark Destroyer had to wait until June to get a World Title shot, but when he finally did get the opportunity to win back the belt he lost to Runaway Train in October, he grasped that opportunity with both hands, downing Train in the main event of the Times of Trouble PPV. Since then Frehley has held on to the World Title, but has gone under a transformation as a champion, starting out as a 'Fighting Champion' but then transitioning into some one who is so desperate to hold on to his title, he will resort to any tactic necessary. 2. Runaway Train (Pop: A*, Record: 25-2-8, Avg Match Rating: C+) One of the most dominating forces in the history of SWF Runaway Train carried over his World Title reign from the back end of 2006, until he was beaten by Steve Frehley at Times of Trouble. Since then he has consistently kept himself in contention but has been unable to win the title back. 3. Rich Money (Pop: A, Record: 30-0-14, Avg Match Rating: C+) Money again had a stellar year just below the main event scene of SWF, as he had a gripping feud with High Concept's Elmo Benson over the North American Title, as the pair traded title reigns with each other, and he added yet more gold when he teamed up with Remo Richardson to win gold in the tag ranks during September. He also had the odd World Title shot, but many fans feel that Money should be getting a push right to a top, as he has all the skills to be the companies Number one heel. 4. Jack Bruce (Pop: A, Record: 19-2-6, Avg Match Rating: C+) The charismatic and flamboyant Jack Bruce was a conistent main event threat throughout 2007, yet despite his strong record he was never given a World Title Shot. Eventually being 'over-looked' got to Bruce, and by the end of the year he had developed a meaner attitude and turned on the fans. Whilst the heel turn has given Bruce a new edge, it's a bit of strange decision from SWF who along with Steve Frehley's turn to the darker side, appear to be loading the main event with heels. 5. Skull De Bones (Pop: B+, Record: 14-2-6, Avg Match Rating: C+) De Bones remains a cult like figure amongst the fans of SWF, yet a World Title reign has so far eluded the Avenging Angel. With so many main event calibre workers now on the heel side, and De Bones still feuding with heels, rather than faces perhaps SWF are lining up heel challengers for an eventual World Title push for De Bones in 2008. 6. Christian Faith (Pop: A, Record: 15-1-10, Avg Match Rating: C+) Then again all those heel challengers could be being lined up for Christian Faith, whose friendship with the boss Richard Eisen keeps him amongst the main eventers no matter what, and a recent World Title clash with Steve Frehley could well point towards another World Title reign for Faith. Whilst Smarks would deride another title reign for an act they feel is past his sell by date (and should be moving aside for the likes of Bruce, Money, Du-Bois, High Concept and the Bumfholes) SWF have never catered to those sort of fans and he's still a big enough draw for the sort of 'casual fans' with their kids who buy into SWF's Sports Entertainment product. 7. Elmo Benson (Pop: B+ , Record: 26-0-11, Avg Match Rating: C) High Concept generally worked apart during 2007, concentrating on singles action and it was Benson who got the more sustained push over his partner Groucho Bling, as he engaged in a see-saw tussle over the North American Title with Rich Money. 8. Remo Richardson (Pop: A, Record: 13-0-12, Avg Match Rating: C+) The explosive powerhouse had something of a up and down year throughout the first 8 months of 2007, seemingly trading wins and losses with fellow upper tier workers in SWF, but a reformation of the Almighty Dollar with Rich Money led to succes in the tag ranks, and they go into 2008 as the World Tag Team champions. 9. Squeeky McLean (Pop: B, Record: 15-0-12, Avg Match Rating: C) 10. Joe Sexy (Pop: B-, Record: 19-0-10, Avg Match Rating: C) McLean and Sexy started teaming together at the start of the year, and by February they had dethroned the Biggz Boyz and World Tag Team champions. They then held the belts for a solid seven month long reign before losing them to the Almighty Dollar. Since then McLean has found himself in a jobber to the stars role, whilst Sexy decided to leave SWF in December after accepting a contract from rivals TCW. Admittedly whilst 2007 fizzled out for both men, the strong tag title reign and a lack of anyone else convincing enough to be in the top 10, seals their places. ___________________________________________________________________________ Total Championship Wrestling Homebase: USA (South West) Behind the scenes/Non Wrestling staff Owner: Tommy Cornell , Head Booker: Joel Bryant Commentary Teams: Jason Azaria & Nemesis (Total Wrestling) Duane Fry & Warlord Pain (Uncut) Notes: Yes you did read that right Warlord Pain has joined TCW as a colour comentator Backstage Interviewer: Kyle Rhodes Road Agents: Chief Two Eagles, Archie Judge, Dylan Sidle Referees: Sam Sparrow, Ray Johnson, Ryan Holland, Eugene Williams Notes: Williams has recently been dropped to a 'personality' push with the recent signing of Ryan Holland. Managers and Valets: Blonde Bombshell (Valet of Liberty) Floyd Goldworthy (Continued on as Troy Tornado's agent following the split of the Painful Procedure stable, the pair use Charlie Thatcher as their personal bodyguard) Jessie (Not a manager as such, is being used in a 'representative of TCW management' role) Playboy Jack Sawyer (Manager of 'The Machines' Human Arsenal and Brent Hill) _____________________________________________________ Popularity: USA: B- / Canada: C/ Mexico: D+ / Japan: E+/ U.K: D-/ Europe: E Finance: $ 35 729 678/ Prestige: C T.V Shows: TCW Presents Total Wrestling (Tuesdays for 2 Hours at 11 PM on Showcase Action) Last Rating: 1.45 Notes: Total Wrestling is currently only showing in Canada, as they lost their U.S T.V Deal for the show earlier in the year, in culmination with their drop to Cult Size. TCW Uncut (Fridays at 12 AM on Hallmark Channel) Last Rating: 7.78 In: Jack Griffith (January), Corporal Doom (February), Freddie Datsun (December), Jack De Colt (December), Joe Sexy (December), Lee Rivera (December) In and Out: Americana (Joined in March, then pretty much immediately released when TCW fell to Cult Size *) Out: None Notes: * Obviously Americana did not take too kindly to his time in TCW being a total waste of time, as he apparently now has a 'Strong Dislike' for Tommy Cornell. Champion Roll Call TCW World Heavyweight Tommy Cornell (December 2006- April 2007) BLZ Bubb (April- September 2007) Tommy Cornell (Current since September 2007) TCW All Action Wolf Hawkins (December 2006- March 2007) Aaron Andrews (March- April 2007) Wolf Hawkins (April-June 2007) Aaron Andrews (June-July 2007) Brent Hill (July- October 2007) Aaron Andrews (October-December 2007) Human Arsenal (Current since December 2007) Notes: This was another one of the slight changes I made to the game-world. I felt TCW with their more 'wrestling based' product would try to promote strong athletic competition, and the All-Action Division would be the best place to display that. So I raised the title to mid-card belt and gave it about the same prestige as the International Title. Wolf Hawkins replaced Chance Fortune as the starting champion, to start things off with a more 'legitimate' champion. The International Title in turn has become the mid-card belt more for the 'Hosses' and Entertainers. International Rocky Golden (December 2006- May 2007) Charlie Thatcher (May- September 2007) Rick Law (Current since September 2007) World Tag Team The Machines (Human Arsenal & Brent Hill) (April 2006- December 2007) * Titles were vacated when The Machines failed to make their mandatory monthly title defence. Giant Tana & Harry Allen (Current since December 2007)- Beat Painful Procedure to win vacant titles. Notes: * Behind the scenes, the titles were vacated because Brent Hill had yet to sign a contract with TCW. Hill's contract situation with TCW throughout 2007 was a real roller-coaster despite the fact that he had received a sustained upper-card push throughout the year. He started the year on a written contract, but because of TCW's fall to cult size, quite a few written contracts were ripped up and a fair proportion of the roster including Brent Hill rejoined on PPA deals. During this time Hill also worked tours in Japan with WLW and INSPIRE to supplment his income. Then towards the end of the year Brent Hill's PPA contract run out, and he had actually 'left' TCW for about a two weeks , however he had re-signed a new written deal before the year was out but the deal was not in time to prevent the Tag Titles from being vacated. Top 10 Workers in TCW during 2007 1. Tommy Cornell (Pop: A, Record: 41-1-19, Avg Match Rating: B) The TCW owner started the year as a heel champion, but ended the year as babyface one. Cornell originally held the World Title under April but under siege from BLZ Bubb (with help from his chronies The Darkness Warriors) Cornell relinquished the belt to the demonic beast. As Cornell chased BLZ Bubb to win back the title, the fans who once booed Cornell vigoursly got behind the TCW boss in his quest to win the title back from BLZ Bubb and in the end Cornell's chase bore fruit, winning the World Title back in September. Whether or not fans stay behind Cornell as a babyface champion into 2008 remains to be seen. 2. BLZ Bubb (Pop: A, Record: 41-1-14. Avg Match Rating: B-) As mentioned in Cornell's review, BLZ Bubb held the World Title between April and September (his second TCW World Title reign) before dropping it back to Cornell. In alot of ways it could be said that BLZ Bubb is TCW's version of SWF's Runaway Train, both are powerhouse brawlers that are not particularly skilled wrestlers but both have the knack of making themselves a seemingly unstoppable bully that the fans love to hate. 3. Troy Tornado (Pop: B+, Record: 27-1-14, Avg Match Rating: B-) Since his split from Painful Procedure at the back end of 2006, Tornado has been able to elevate himself into being one of the leading heels in TCW. Working some solid upper-card programs with the likes of Ricky Dale Johnson and Liberty, by the end of the year Tornado was the leading challenger for Tommy Cornell's World Title. So far Tornado has been able to get the better of Cornell, but the feud looks set to continue into next year and so far their matches against one another have been gathering strong reviews. 4. Brent Hill (Pop: B, Record: 48-0-19, Avg Match Rating: C+) 5. Human Arsenal (Pop: B-, Record: 36-0-18, Avg Match Rating: C+) During their seemingly endless tag title reign that lasted for 18 Months, fans were calling The Machines the most dominant tag team in wrestling and the most dominant team in TCW history, and who knows if the TCW management didn't panic about Hill's contract situation, The Machines could still be champions. On the other hand the 'vacation' of the belts cements the Machines legacy of being unbeatable. The pair also found success amongst the singles ranks in TCW's exciting All-Action Division, with Brent Hill holding the title between July and October, whilst Human Arsenal recently ended the two month reign of Aaron Andrews to start his first All Action title reign. It is expected that in 2008 'The Machines' will both continue with sustained singles pushes, however the singles ranks gain, will the tag ranks loss, as they brought legitimacy to a tag division short on quality pairings. 6. Liberty (Pop: B+, Record: 28-1-23, Avg Match Rating: C+) 2007 saw a rennaisance for Liberty, who managed to win back the fans after a misjudged heel turn during 2007, as he worked some solid programmes with the likes of BLZ Bubb , Troy Tornado and a recently heel-turned Ricky Dale Johnson. 7. Ricky Dale Johnson (Pop: B+, Record: 31-3-27, Avg Match Rating: C+) RDJ started the year as he has done for the past two years, as the rough and tough babyface rival to the smart, conniving heel in Tommy Cornell. However once Cornell moved onto a program with BLZ Bubb (leading to Cornell's face turn) TCW worked on repackaging RDJ the other way. A program with Troy Tornado saw RDJ constantly frustrated by the arrogant ex lead singer of Painful Procedure, that led to RDJ bringing out a more aggressive side. After Tornado seemingly won the feud, RDJ continued a short losing streak before finally snapping and turning himself into a take no prisoners bad-ass who doesn't worry about 'going over the line' and at the moment his main target of his anger seems to be Liberty. 8. Wolf Hawkins (Pop: B+, Record: 41-2-16, Avg Match Rating: C+) Holding the All-Action Title for two solid title reigns durign 2007, Hawkins was one of TCW's leading mid-carders throughout the year. On the cusp of breaking through into the main event Hawkins is expected to make further progress in 2008. 9. Aaron Andrews (Pop: B-, Record: 36-0-24, Avg Match Rating: C+) The Future is obviously now for both Aaron Andrews and TCW as the Blue Chipper (who many tip to be a future World Champion), won the All Action Title, not once, not twice, but three times during 2007. On the downside though none of his title reigns lasted for more than a month, suggesting that despite TCW having faith in him having the skills to win a title, they don't quite yet have faith in him yet to carry a title reign beyond a transitional one. 10. Rick Law (Pop: B, Record: 30-0-18. Avg Match Rating: C) The powerhouse brawler with the cop gimmick, found the International back around his waist before 2007 had finished. Generally seen as one of the most promising young 'big men' in all of wrestling, Law has established himself as one of the most solid performers in the TCW mid-card. He looks to set to feud with TCW new-comer (and SWF defectee) Joe Sexy going into the new year. Worth a Mention: Rocky Golden & Charlie Thatcher- Neither are favourites with the more smarky side of TCW's audience, but both were given reasonable length reigns with the International Title. The jury is still out however on whether those title reigns were succesful, and with the title back on the waist of Rick Law, and with the recent additions of Joe Sexy and Jack De Colt , 2007 could well have been a pinnacle year for this pair of hosses. Genghis Rahn- The veteran brawler played the role of Upper-card gap plugger, as he jumped from month to month working feuds with a whole host of Main Event and mid-card talents. He even challenged for the World Title on a couple of occasions. Giant Tana & Harry Allen- This big-man/little-man pairing go into 2008 as the new World Tag Team Champions after beating Painful Procedure for the vacant titles. It will be interesting to see if the pair get a sustaned push, and it will be also be interesting to see what happens to Harry Allen's regular tag partner Stevie Gumble. Though it was not officially announced it looks like the Young Guns tag team has been scrapped.

Americana joined Burning Hammer in May after a some-what short lived tenure with TCW. In his first few months he didn't quite catch on as much as I would have hoped , despite a reasonably strong push right from the start. Realising that I had probably pushed him a little too hard/too fast from the out-set, I changed tactics and gradually built him up with strong showings against the mid-carders, soon enough he was begining to catch on and soon my faith in his ability was rewarded. I transitioned him into the on-going Sensational Dragon- Elemental II feud and he has really begun to take off. Americana's 'break-through' moment and confirmation that he could be a major player in the Junior Division came when he produced a MOTYC 30 minute Time Limit draw in a contenders match with Sensational Dragon. He finished the year with a big win over his 'inspiration' Elemental II, in their first ever one on one meeting. ____________________________________________________ Bulldozer Brandon Smith 2007 Burning Hammer Record : 6-1-26 Best Match Rating: B+ Average Match Rating: C Popularity: E Height:6 ft 6 , Weight: 295 Ib Move-Set: Finishers: Back-Drop Driver, Atomic Driller (Texas Pile-Driver) Strikes/Impact Moves: Repeated Fore-Arm Smashes, Lariat, 3 Point Tackle, Running Hip Attack. BBS is a hard-worker and has the skills to be a success but he's not quite getting over with the fans, that might be because he has spent a lot of time jobbing and any wins he does get have tended to be against the dregs of the roster. He also has been foolishly turning down offers from independent American companies (something to do with loyalty), when I'd be quite happy for him to get some further experience, perhaps in an enviroment where he can learn the habit of winning more easily. On the plus side his respect has risen to a D- , so the fans might not crap on him so much if he starts picking up some wins over veterans and he his recent pairing with Canadian veteran Steve Flash did show promise. 2007 was the year the Bulldozer got his in-ring 'education', in 2008 he will have to step it up if he wants to remain a part of BHOTWG. __________________________________________________ Chuichi Sanda (Raging Bulls) 2007 Burning Hammer Record : 31-1-22 Best Match Rating: B+ Average Match Rating: B- Popularity: C- Height: 6 ft , Weight: 255 Ib Move-Set: Finishers: Explosion Kick (Spin Kick) Strikes/Impact Moves: Super-Kick, Ed Henson Press, 'Deacon' Knee Lift, Soccer Kick, Close Fist Punches. Admittedly the Reborn Tour was a much more succesful one for the Raging Bulls, as they held the Tag Titles for much of their tour, however their reign was really a set-up for the storyline of unifying the tag titles via the Junior Tag champions Size of the Fight winning the titles. I wanted a veteran team for SOTF, and the other option was The Rebellion, but I had major plans elsewhere for that pair, so in the end the Bulls with a couple of title reigns behind them fitted the bill. Since then they have struggled to get to title contention form and have generally slipped back into the role of the mid-card team , that are the first rung on the ladder that any serious tag challenger has to beat. Though a solid worker Sanda is also the wrong side of 30 ( I've got time for veterans look at the pushes Hooded Kudo and Elemental II received this year- but they also happen to be REALLY good) and is pretty bland. Despite this he is constantly telling me he should be getting a better push. He still has a future in Burning Hammer, but it's one that most likely involves being a glorified jobber , if he starts expecting more he could be on his way out of the door. ________________________________________________ Dynamite Narahashi 2007 Burning Hammer Record : 4-1-34 Best Match Rating: B Average Match Rating: C+ Popularity: D- Height: 6 ft 3 , Weight: 235 Ib Move-Set: Finishers: Dynamite Crunch (Double-Knee Face-breaker) : Strikes/Impact Moves: Knee Strikes, Shoot-Kick, Chinbreaker Transitional/Counter-Attack: Reverse STO, Double Knee Gutbuster, Chop Block, Whiplash, Arm Bar Takedown. That title run was ended in September by Hooded Kudo , and Nakasawa has been chasing Kudo ever-since. He reached the Super 10 Cup finals at the end of the tour, but was somewhat surprisingly defeated by Kudo's Silver Dragon Feet stable mate Shimedzu, but despite that set-back he did get a psychologically boosting win over World Champion and nemesis Hooded Kudo in the semi finals and there is no doubt that sometime during 2008, Nakasawa will be back amongst the World Title hunt. ________________________________________ Hooded Kudo (Silver Dragon Feet) 2007 Burning Hammer Record : 36-5-21 Best Match Rating: A* Average Match Rating: B+ Popularity: A Height: 6ft , Weight: 240 Ib Move Set: Finishers: Kudo Kutter (TKO), Kudo-Lock (Inverted STF), Kudo-Driver '99 (Cross Arm Pile-Driver) Strikes/Impact Moves: Shining Wizard, Drop Kick, Enziguri, Yazuka Kick, Face-Wash, Knife Edge Chops Transitional/Counter Attack: STO, Side Russian Leg-Sweep,Crucifix Bomb, Drop Toe Hold, Spike DDT, Dragon Screw Leg-Whip Throws & Slams: Proto Kudo Driver (Belly to Back Piledriver), Death Valley Driver, Iconoclasm, Dragon Suplex Aerial: Moonsault, Flying Lariat Submissions: STF, Surfboard Much like Elemental II in the Junior Division, Hooded Kudo has proven he still has what it takes to be at the top of Burning Hammer. The main thing about these two oustanding veterans is that they can still put on quality matches, that last the main-event distance. Kudo was rewarded with a 4th World Title run, his first in 10 years, and his heel turn this year, as the leader of the revamped Silver Dragon Feet stable, has probably revitalised his career, where his feud with Hiroaki Nakasawa both as the chasing challenger and as the champion (who is currently trying his best to duck his main rival) has been one of the most intensely fought throughout the past year and it looks set to continue on into next year. _________________________________________________ Hyosuke Kokan (Size of the Fight) 2007 Burning Hammer Record : 27-2-24 Best Match Rating: A Average Match Rating: B- Popularity: C+ Height: 5ft 7, Weight: 190 Ib Move Set: Finishers: Electric Shocker Clutch (Sitting Double-Chicken Wing), Cannonball (Front-Flip Senton) Strikes/Impact Moves: Suicide Dive, Enziguri Transitional/Counter Attack: Tornado DDT, Tilt-A-Whirl Head-Scissors, Sunset Flip, La Magistral Cradle, Leg-Sweep, Drop-Kick Throws & Slams: Leg Hook Belly to Back Suplex, Double Chicken-Wing Suplex, Belly to Back Superplex Aerial: Flying Elbow Smash, Slingshot Leg-drop, Flying Drop-Kick, Seated Senton, Quebrada, Leg-Lariat. Maita is capable of putting on some very good performances, but these have tended to come in shorter/low pressure matches lower down the card, and his apparent inability to deliver when it really matters, will probably see him fall back into the role of a solid lower-carder. That was solved with the powerful Samoan being hired by Hooded Kudo as the Silver Dragon Feet Insurance policy and things seemed to be looking up for Umaga. However despite the fact that Umaga now found himself competing with main event calibre talents on a more regular basis, he often found himself in the role of glorified jobber to help keep the babyfaces looking strong. With his persistant failure at getting the job done, his relationship with Hooded Kudo and the rest of Silver Dragon Feet is beginning to get on shaky ground and many fans are now anticipating not if, but when Kudo will be kicking Umaga out of the most dominant faction in Burning Hammer.

Currently on top of the Junior Division he has been in a compelling see-saw feud with Junior legend Elemental II throughout the year. He won the title early on in the year from Marihito Masuko and he soon joined the re-formed Silver Dragon Feet as the stables Junior Division representative. His arrogance as champion soon caught the attention of Elemental II, who felt that Dragon was disrespectful towards his opponents. Elemental II struck a psychogical blow against the c0cky youngster, by beating Dragon in the BOSJ Cup Finals, then in October after Dragon was beaten for the title by his rival in a 30 minute Iron man match at Night of the Burning Hammer. However Dragon soon won back the belt at the next pay per view in a 3-way dance also involving emerging Junior Division star Americana, and he goes into 2007 with Elemental and Americana heading the pack of contenders chasing him for the Junior Title. ________________________________________________ Shimedzu (The Rebellion/Silver Dragon Feet) 2007 Burning Hammer Record : 35-5-24 Best Match Rating: A* Average Match Rating: B+ Popularity: A Height: 5ft 11 Weight: 235 Ib Move-Set: Finishers: Shimedzu Skull-Drop (Brainbuster DDT) ,Total Anarchy (Moonsault Side-Slam). In fact Shimedzu started the year in the midst of a singles push that started at the back end of 2006, as both Rebellion members looked to add singles gold to their tag team accomplishments, even challenging for the World Title a few times early on in the year..... However his singles ambitions were put on hold when he made the decision/was persuaded to join Hooded Kudo's Silver Dragon Feet stable with his tag partner Miyamae, and the pair refocused their efforts on winning back the tag titles, which they did in June, holding them for an impressive six month reign. However Shimedzu was also a participant in the Super 10 Cup, in a group that pitted him against his own stable leader Hooded Kudo, he earned a time limit draw with the World Champion and then defeated Kinnojo Horri in the decisive match to reach the Semi-finals. It was at Final Collision where he made his ascendency to singles star, defeating both Eisaku Hoshino and former World Champion Hiroaki Nakasawa in one night to earn a title shot against Hooded Kudo at the first PPV of 2008. With the World Title on the line the next time Shimedzu and Hooded Kudo meet, the fans are now wondering if this will be the catalyst that pulls the dominant Silver Dragon Feet stable apart. ____________________________________________________ Steve Flash 2007 Burning Hammer Record : 6-2-24 Best Match Rating: B+ Average Match Rating: C+ Popularity: D- Height: 6ft 2, Weight: 238 Ibs Move-Set: Finisher: Flash Bang (Elevated Three Quarter face-lock Cutter) Strikes/Impact Moves: Enziguri, Super-Kick, Drop Kick, Spinning Back Elbow, Double Under Hook Backbreaker Transitional/Counter Attack: One Handed Bull-Dog, Arm-Drag, Skin The Cat Throws & Slams: German Suplex, Northern Lights Suplex, Vertical Suplex, Brainbuster, Turbuckle Power-Bomb, Swinging Neckbreaker Aerial: Diving Leg-drop, Top Rope Elbow Drop, Missile Drop-Kick, Frog-Splash Submissions: Boston Crab, Figure-Four Leg-Lock Canadian veteran Steve Flash was brought into Burning Hammer during the last tour, and soon struck up a rivalry with Mullet Power, when he turned down the offer of joining his then fellow Mullet Haired Wrestlers. Flash decided to de-mullet himself then caused the break-up of Mullet Power by winning a handicap challenge. Apart from that minor success, Flash has mostly been used as a veteran gaijin who can put on a decent effort in the role of job fodder. His contract comes up for renewal early next year, and it's doubtful whether he will be kept on beyond that time, though a recent pairing with fellow gaijin Bulldozer Brandon Smith, showed some promise. ________________________________________________ SUKI 2007 Burning Hammer Record : 8-0-18 Best Match Rating: A Average Match Rating: B Popularity: D- Height: 5 ft 10, Weight: 214 Ibs Move-Set: Finishers: SUKI Special III (Northern Lights Suplex into Cross Arm-Breaker), Mount SUKI (Top Rope Falcon Arrow) Strikes/Impact Moves: Running Knee, Roundhouse Kick, Double Stomp Transitional/Counter Attack: Head-Scissors Take-Down, STO, Impant DDT Throws & Slams: Northern Lights Suplex, Rolling German Suplex, Release Dragon Suplex, Death Valley Driver, Falcon Arrow Aerial: Diving Leg-Drop, Flying Lariat. Towards the end of the year he started to get some more focus, when he began to tag with Golden Scorpion on a more regular basis, and it looks like the pair might have their sights set on the tag titles. If there is one performer I would have wanted to do with more in 2007, it would be The Awesome Kiyaru , he has a cool look and still has the skills to be a top player in the Junior Division (he is perhaps the most gifted Aerial Artist on the entire roster), but with the Junior Division scene eventually dominated by the Elemental II- Sensational Dragon feud , Kiyaru just sort of blended into the background. That is something I want to rectify in 2008, whether that would be via a good Junior Division run or via the tag ranks with Golden Scorpion. ____________________________________________________________ Tom Gilmore 2007 Burning Hammer Record : 18-2-10 Best Match Rating: A* Average Match Rating: B+ Popularity: B- Height: 6ft , Weight: 235 Ibs Move-Set: Finishers: Anger Management (Sit-Out Spinning Power Bomb), Picture Perfect Moonsault (Triple Jump Moonsault) Strikes/Impact Moves: Double Knee facebuster, Enzuigiri, Double Knee Gutbuster, Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker, Palm Strikes, Super-Kick , Standing Drop-Kick , Face-wash Transitional/Counter Attack: STO, Reverse STO, Tornado DDT Throws & Slams: Iconoclasm, Rolling Cutter, Death Valley Driver, Exploder Suplex, Fisherman Suplex, Elemental Suplex, Sidewalk Slam Aerial: Quebrada,Diving Elbow, Missile Drop-Kick, Arabian Press Submissions: Stone-Hold (Sharpshooter), Elemental Clutch (Koji Clutch) Tom Gilmore made his return to Burning Hammer in September, after leaving SWF (who were having a turbulent year)...he made his debut as a mysterious tweener, who showed that he was not willing to work with either the anti Silver Dragon Feet faces or Silver Dragon feet himself. However a planned feud with Koshiro Ino was aborted, due to poor chemistry and the decision was made to gradually turn Gilmore towards being more of a face, admittedly the more heel like tweener character was more compelling but with Silver Dragon Feet taking most of the top heel spots it was felt that another top level heel wasn't really needed. Of course the decision could have been made that Gilmore could have joined SDF, but it's likely he could have found himself in the Rhino Umaga role, instead his refusal to join Kudo's dominant faction was played up after he won the Openweight Championship. With Gilmore holding the only title not in the clutches of Silver Dragon Feet, Kudo is desperate for one of his charges to take the belt away, from the man that turned him down. A former tag team champion in 2006, Masuno probably had a year he would want to forget in 2007 despite posting up a winning record. Starting the year out as a World Title contender, he slowly slipped down the rankings and decided to turn his attention back to the tag scene, teaming up with fellow mullet-haired big man Yasuhiko Taira to form Mullet-Power. However the team was for the most part unsuccesful and ended up taking a humiliating loss to rival Steve-Flash in a handicap series, that ended with the disbandment of their team and the loss of their mullets. However since the end of Mullet Power, Masuno with his new shaven headed look has become a re-focused competitor, with his sights currently set on the Openweight title, whilst a strong performance in a recent non-title encounter with Hooded Kudo, showed that he can produce the goods if the matches aren't too long. That's the main sticking point with Masuno, his stamina levels aren't really good enough to justify giving him a main event push. However he is a decent big-man worker and has proved himself to be a valuable enough mid-card commodity.

Incoming for 2008 Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods have made the following additions to their roster for the up-coming tour...... Sean McFly Shingen Miyazaki McFly a former 4 time NOTBPW International Champion and 2 time SWF champion, made some impressive cameo's last year winning a battle royal, then challenging Hooded Kudo for the World Title. McFly has signed a one year contract and will be hoping to match his success in North America. Miyazaki the current GCG Openweight Champion, joins Burning Hammer on a 12 month PPA contract . Miyazaki who has connections with fellow new-comer McFly as both worked for NOTBPW, is one of the top up and coming talents in Japanese wrestling and will be looking to impress in a BHOTWG ring. __________________________________________________________________ One of the leading talents in Hinote Dojo has graduated to BHOTWG......Heiachiro Sakai, considered to be one of the most promising young heavyweights in all of wrestling, will make his full BHOTWG debut during the (yet to be named) first tour of 2008. Taking his place on the Hinote Dojo roster will be ex WEXVV alumni Taheji Konoe. Burning Hammer officials feel that Konoe. An intense brawler and a tag champion in the dying days of WEXVV, Konoe is actually a more rounded wrestler than his chosen style and previous employment history suggests. ______________________________________________________________________ Meet the new additions Sean McFly Previous Titles: NOTBPW International (x 4), SWF World Heavyweight (x2) Height: 6 Ft, Weight: 230 Ibs Move-Set: Finishers: Delorean Driver (Tilt-A Whirl Sit-out Piledriver *), Way of the Future (Springboard Inverted DDT) * McFly whips the opponent off the ropes, spins them over like he's going to deliver a Tilt-A Whirl Backbreaker, but he keeps the momentum going and delivers a sit-out piledriver. Strikes/Impact Moves: Roaring Elbow, Drop Kick, Standing Drop Kick , Enziguri, Super-Kick, Leaping Lariat, Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker, Reverse STO Back-Breaker, Firemans Carry Gutbuster Transitional Counter Attack: Implant DDT, Inverted DDT, Side Russian Leg-Sweep, Sunset Flip, Crucifix Bomb, STO, Reverse STO Throws & Slams: Northern Lights Suplex, Fisherman Suplex, Vertical Suplex, German Suplex, Rolling Release German Suplex, Death Valley Driver, Sunset Flip Power-Bomb, Brainbuster, Vertical Suplex Pile-driver Aerial: Missile Drop-Kick, Moonsault, Moonsault Press, Standing Moonsault , Flying Fore-Arm Smash, Frog-Splash, Diving Leg-drop. Purogods.com After a succesful 2007, that saw BHOTWG produce some of their most critically acclaimed shows since the turn of the Millenium, the revered promotion will embark in their first tour of 2008- The Samurai Spirit Tour. The Tour will begin at the Yamanashi Athletic Stadium in Chubu on Monday 3rd March, then will move on to the Yokkaido Dome in Kinki on Thursday 6th March. Mondays show in Chubu, will be main evented by an All-Star Tag match as World Champion Hooded Kudo teams up with the Super-10 Cup Winner Shimedzu to take on former World Champion and Super 10 Cup Finalist Hiroaki Nakasawa and current Openweight Champion Tom Gilmore. Will there be tension between the two Silver Dragon Feet stable-mates, considering Shimedzu will be challenging Kudo for the World Title at Fire Dream of the Immortals or will the pair still be on the same page ? Former NOTBPW International Champion Sean McFly makes his debut against the 'Silver Dragon Feet Insurance Policy' Rhino Umaga, can McFly make an immediate impact on his official debut or will he be stopped in his tracks by the powerful Samoan. There will be plenty of Junior Division action, headed up by a Junior Title contenders match between Kansuke Konda and The Awesome Kiyaru. Konda recently challenged Sensational Dragon for the Junior Title, however Kiyaru won a 4-way at Final Collision and the winner of this showdown will challenge Sensational Dragon for the Junior Title on Thursdays show. In other Junior Division action Konda's Size of the Fight Tag Team partner Hyosuke Kokan takes on SUKI and there is a clash of veterans a former 6 time Junior Champion and 2007 BOSJ Cup winner Elemental II takes on Super Joshuya. Tag Team action will be provided with a match-up between P.I.N.K and the all North American pairing of Steve Flash & Bulldozer Brandon Smith, finally there will be a 4 corner survival featuring Eiji Hamacho, Miyamae, Mokuami Maita and Yasunobu Masuno. The winner of the 4 corner survival will qualify for an Openweight Contenders match next week, where they will meet the winner of another 4 corner survival to feature on Thursdays show. Thursdays show in Kinki will be headlined with a Six Man Battle between the Silver Dragon Feet trio of Hooded Kudo, Shimedzu and Miyamae as they take on Hiroaki Nakasawa, Kinnojo Horri and Sean McFly. Sensational Dragon defends the Junior Title against the winner of Monday's contenders match between Kansuke Konda and The Awesome Kiyaru, whilst two debutants face testing debuts as Shingen Miyazaki takes on Americana (who is set to challenge for the Junior Title at FDOTI) and Hinote Dojo graduate Heiachiro Sakai faces a baptism of fire as he takes on Openweight Champion Tom Gilmore in a non title match. Power and Paint collides as World Tag Team champion Koshiro Ino takes on P.I.N.K's Tadakuni Toshusai , whilst Toshusai's P.I.N.K tag partner Marihito Masuko will compete in an all Junior Division 3 way, as he faces off with Hyosuke Kokan and Golden Scorpion. Finally the second Openweight contenders 4 corner survival will feature Chuichi Sanda, Rhino Umaga, Steve Flash and SUKI. These two veterans put on a fairly short but decent match, that was mostly fought on the mat and included plenty of counters, before both men took a few risks at the end. The finishing sequence saw Joshuya worked his way out of an Elemental Suplex attempt and then dump Elemental II with an Inverted Suplex Slam, before heading up top Joshuya then went for a moonsault but Elemental II got the knees up, before taking Joshuya down with a Leg-whip. Joshuya got up but was then nailed with an Enziguri and then put down on the canvas with the Tri-Fecta Kick series. Elemental II then headed up top and finished things off with the Inferno Splash. Kokan came out on fire, but SUKI took advantage of a mis-timed suicide dive, nailing Kokan with a Running Knee on the outside before driving Kokan's right arm into the ring-post. SUKI then worked over Kokan's arm to set up for the SUKI Special , but Kokan kept digging down to stay in the match, and re-took control after hitting a Double Chickenwing suplex. Kokan then held onto the Double Chickenwing, as he got SUKI locked into his own submission hold the Electric Shocker Clutch. SUKI managed to get to the ropes, but Kokan was now in control, a La Magistral Cradle brought him a two count, before he nailed SUKI with a drop-kick, and headed up top, SUKI staggered up to his feet but the Size of the Fight man took him down with a Tornado DDT, that got another close two count......and Kokan decided to head up top again. He came flying off with the Cannonall (Front-Flip Senton) but SUKI had moved out of the way and as he got back up to his feet he got taken down with a pair of Spinning Head-Scissors, which SUKI transitioned into the SUKI Special (Cross Arm-Breaker). Kokan tried to get to the ropes, but SUKI pulled them back into the centre of the ring, and Kokan had no choice in the end but to tap out. SUKI gets 2008 off to a good personal start, with what has to be considered a slight upset win, as he takes down the former Tag Champion. Result: SUKI defeated Hyosuke Kokan in 9:12 by submission with a SUKI Special. Rating: B _________________________________________________ Match #4 : Openweight Contenders Semi Final (4 Corner Survival): Eiji Hamacho vs Miyamae vs Mokuami Maita vs Yasunobu Masuno vs This was suprisingly really engaging for a 4 Corners match, that mostly featured mid-carders as everyone seemed be on top form for the first night of the tour, with Masuno and Hamacho bringing the Power and Brawling, whilst Maita and Miyamae brought there more scientific approaches into the mix. With the match gradually building to a crescendo with several near-falls, the ending stretch saw Maita and Miyamae brawling on the outside, whilst Hamacho and Masuno went toe to toe in the ring. Masuno went to nail Hamacho with a Big-Boot, but the Raging Bull ducked under and took Masuno down with a Spear. Maita who had just sent Miyamae crashing into the barricade with a drop toe hold, dived in to make the save, before sending Hamacho down onto the canvas with a chop block before applying the ankle-lock. Just as it looked like Hamacho would tap out, Masuno got up and almost took Maita's head off with a big-boot, before setting up for the Avalanche Bomb, however Miyamae sneaked in from behind and chopped Masuno down with a series of low shoot-kicks, before driving Masuno into the canvas with an STO. Maita then tried to take advantage by getting the ankle-lock locked onto Miyamae, but the former tag champion caught Maita with an Enziguri, and then nailing Maita with the Miyamae Spoiler (Hangmans Facebuster).....Hamacho had managed to get back up but it was too late, as Miyamae advances to the No.1 contenders match for the Openweight Title to take place next week. Kiyaru earned two counts with a Moonsault, a standing shiranui and almost had the match won when he pulled out the Kiyaru Effect (Forward Somersault Bull-dog) only for Konda to kick out at the last split second. Meanwhile Konda came close after with a Tornado DDT, a Northern Lights Suplex and sequence which saw the Size of the Fight man knock Kiyaru silly with a Missile Drop-Kick followed by a roaring elbow. With both men giving it all they had Konda appeared to be in control, when he set up for the Konda Driver but Kiyaru managed to slip out and countered into a Uranage Back-breaker, before planting Konda into the canvas with a Falcon Arrow for a two count. Kiyaru then went up top and set up to nail Konda with a high impact move off the top rope, but he took a little too long and Konda nailed Kiyaru with a drop-kick in mid-air. Kiyaru then staggered up to his feet only to be nailed with Konda's version of the Ace Crusher (which Mitsuhide Muro on the commentary team referred to as the Big Fight Stunner), and that was enough for the Size of the Fight man to pick up the victory and to earn another shot at the Junior Title. Result: Kansuke Konda defeated The Awesome Kiyaru in 12:11 by pinfall . Rating: B+ __________________________________________________________ A video package is shown to promote new signing Sean McFly, who will be making his official Burning Hammer debut in the match coming up next. Rating: E Notes: That got crapped on with the ' the fans came to see wrestling note', but in the context of the diary it had to go in. McFly kicked out of the pin attempt but it was all Umaga for the next few minutes, as the big Samoan used his size and strength to dominate McFly. A scoop slam and a Samoan Drop brought two counts for Umaga, before he backed McFly up into the corner with a series of headbutts. Umaga then went for the Rhino Charge to finish things off, but McFly managed to move out of the way at the last split second before catching Umaga with an Enziguri and then a reverse STO that sent Umaga bouncing into the turnbuckle, McFly then took Umaga over with a Crucifix Bomb for a two count, before transitioning it into a crucifix arm-bar.....Umaga managed to get to the ropes but McFly took him back down to the canvas with a Side Russian Leg-Sweep before tying up Umaga's legs and applying a Stone Hold. Umaga managed to use his strength to kick McFly off, and as the North American star bounced off the ropes he got dumped with a German Suplex. A bridging pin earned a two count for Umaga but McFly still had some fight left in him. Both got up and exchanged strikes but it was Umaga who would take control with a throat thrust, before driving McFly into the canvas with a Swinging Side Slam. McFly managed to kick out of that, but Umaga stayed in control with a flurry of knee strikes before whipping McFly into the corner, and following up with a Running Lariat, McFly slumped down on to the canvas and Umaga made the cover, but McFly got his foot on the ropes. Umaga then whipped McFly into the other corner and went for another Rhino Charge, but McFly moved out of the way springboarded off the turnbuckle and then caught Umaga with the inverted DDT he calls the Way of the Future and that managed to stun Umaga long enough for McFly to pick up a victory in his debut match as a regular member of the BHOTWG roster. Good first match from McFly, and though McFly's best matches throughout his career have tended to be with similar technically gifted talents (i.e the Stones) he showed that he can put on a good match with just about anyone, no matter what style of wrestling they bring to the table. Given the fact that he pulled out a MOTYC with Hooded Kudo when he came over as part of a talent trade during the previous tour, I have every faith in McFly to be an assute signing, rather than a disapponting bust like Hoshino turned out to be. Result: Sean McFly defeated Rhino Umaga in 14:43 by pinfall. Rating: B+ Hooded Kudo has come out to the ring before his match, where he begins to berate Rhino Umaga, for losing yet again....just as it looks like Kudo is about to strike the big Samoan, he suddenly turns his attention to McFly, soon Shimedzu is out there and the Silver Dragon Feet trio start a beat-down on the Gaijin new-comer. Seeing the beat-down Nakasawa and Gilmore come rushing out , taking the fight to the SDF trio.....McFly also begins to fight back. Gilmore tries to dump Kudo with an Fisherman suplex, but Kudo blocks it and sends Gilmore to the floor with a drop toe hold before nailing the Openweight Champion with a Shining Wizard. Meanwhile Nakasawa has gained the advantage against Shimedzu and is about to Power-Bomb the Super-10 Cup Winner into the ring apron, but Kudo sneaked up from behind and kicked Nakasawa across the back. Shimedzu then sprung off the ring apron to down Nakasawa with a swinging DDT before Kudo almost took Nakasawa's head off with a Yakuza kick....Gilmore had now come to but Shimedzu nailed him with a drop-kick, that sent the Openweight champion into the guard-rail. The Silver Dragon Feet pair then brought Gilmore into the ring, where they worked over the Gaijin star for the next few minutes. Gilmore managed to fight back and took Kudo down with a double knee facebuster, but Nakasawa was still feeling the effects of the beating he took on the outside and Gilmore had no one to tag to..... Kudo then took Gilmore off his feet with the Dragon Screw Leg-whip , Kudo then made the tag to Shimedzu before putting Gilmore into a surfboard, Shimedzu then slingshotted himself back in to land with a leg drop across Gilmore's chest. Shimedzu then tried to apply an arm-bar to Gilmore, but the Openweight Champion managed to work his way out of that only to be dumped on his head with a Dragon Suplex..... One..... Two.... Gilmore kicked out. Shimedzu then lifted Gilmore up off the canvas, and began to taught Gilmore, but Gilmore came back with a flurry of strikes, only to be stopped in his tracks again with a roundhouse kick , then a second kick sent Gilmore slumping into the corner, where Shimedzu put him into the tree of woe, before tagging in Kudo, who delivered the face-wash. Shimedzu was tagged back in and delivered a face-wash of his own, before going for the missile drop-kick. However Gilmore managed to pull himself up and Shimedzu ended up bouncing off the turnbuckle, as he staggered back to his feet Gilmore then took Shimedzu down with a Missile drop-kick. Then as both combatants managed to get to their feet.......Shimedzu charged at Gilmore only to be dumped into the turnbuckle with an Exploder Suplex. Gilmore then dived over to make the tag, and this time Nakasawa was there and finally the former World Champion was back in the match up. Shimedzu managed to stagger back up to his feet but he was immediately taken down with a Lariat, and then dumped with a release German suplex, however Shimedzu had the prescence of mind to roll out of the ring, before Nakasawa could make the cover or dish out more punishment. Kudo came into the ring and backed Nakasawa up with a series of knife edge chops but Nakasawa no-sold them before dumping the World Champion into the canvas with a Uranage. Nakasawa then lifted Kudo up off the canvas to deliver a double knee backbreaker, before driving Kudo into the canvas with a hammerlock divorce court...Nakasawa then lifted Kudo off the canvas again, before taking the World Champion over with a Northern Lights suplex into a bridging pin...... One.... Two...... Kudo managed to kick out but Nakasawa remained in control , a fore-arm smash had Kudo rocking and Nakasawa set up for the Nakasawa Neckbreaker but Kudo had it scouted and couple of knee strikes had Nakasawa doubled over. Kudo then attempted to drive Nakasawa into the canvas with a Kudo driver, but Nakasawa used his size advantage to fight off the attempt before sending Kudo over with a back body drop, they turned around an Nakasawa levelled the World Champion with a lariat....... One...... Two........ Kudo kicked out, but Nakasawa could sense victory, he whipped Kudo into the ropes and set up for the H-Bomb but Shimedzu was on the outside and he tripped Nakasawa up, that gave Kudo enough time to hit the KUDO-KUTTER !!! but he was too worn down to make the pin.... Both Nakasawa and Kudo laid slumped on the canvas, before they slowly crawled their way across the ring towards their respective corners. Shimedzu was tagged in first, but Gilmore was not far behind, and the Openweight Champion took Shimedzu down with an STO before taking the Super 10 Cup over and back onto the canvas with an Elemental Suplex......... One....... Two...... Shimedzu kicked out but Gilmore remained in control with a Tilt-A-Whirl backbreaker before heading over to the corner. PICTURE PERFECT MOONSAULT !! but Shimedzu got the knees-up and then followed up with a roundhouse kick, then a Falcon Arrow One..... Two...... Kudo wanted back in , but Shimedzu refused the tag saying something like 'I can do this on my own !' , Kudo was irate at Shimedzu for not taking team orders and dropped down off the turnbuckle, appearing to walk out on the matc That gave Gilmore enough time to take Shimedzu by surprise with a La Magistral Cradle. Gilmore then stunned Shimedzu with a double knee facebuster, before going over to make the tag into Nakasawa. However Kudo had sneaked round to the other side of the ring, and he pulled Nakasawa off the apron, before sending his long time rival into the guard-rail. Gilmore then turned around, where he was stunned by an Enziguri from Shimezu.......SKULL DROP !!! One..... Two..... Three !!! Silver Dragon Feet continued where they left off in 2007, as a dominant force but tension between Hooded Kudo and Shimedzu was teased several times not just in this match, but throughout the night. Given the fact that they will be meeting for the World Title in three weeks time, the tension could be for real and they are just about managing to put on a united front, on the other hand it could all be a smoke-screen to fool their rivals. Result: Hooded Kudo and Shimedzu defeated Hiroaki Nakasawa and Tom Gilmore in 19:19 when Shimedzu defeated Tom Gilmore by pinfall. Rating: A* _______________________________________________________ Overall: B+ An average show by our now lofty standards, but it was a solid enough start to the new tour. Since I missed the opportunity to badly predict night one, I'll try to pick night two badly. :D Thursday (Kinki) Six Man Battle: Hooded Kudo & The Rebellion vs Hiroaki Nakasawa, Sean McFly & Kinnojo Horri- I see the seeds of a McFly/Kudo feud being planted. Junior Title: Sensational Dragon vs Kansuke Konda- I am a SOTF mark and all but SD is on a roll, so I say SD for now. Americana vs Shingen Miyazaki- Americana is a personal favorite of mine plus he beat Elemental II so perhaps the rumors of Americana being considered to take on the Elemental legacy are true. Openweight Contenders Semi Final (4 Corner Survival): Chuichi Sanda vs Rhino Umaga vs Steve Flash vs SUKI Koshiro Ino vs Tadakuni Toshusai- The powaah will be too much. Golden Scorpion vs Hyosuke Kokan vs Marihito Masuko- I am a SOTF mark. Non (Openweight) Title: Tom Gilmore vs Heiachiro Sakai- Gilmore just keeps chugging along. And a question as well, with the push of Kansuke Konda towards the Junior Title is my favorite tag team (Size of the Fight) on hold for now?

There wasn’t really much wrestling skill on display in this match, but it was decent enough for what it was a short and wild brawl. The finish saw Toshusai catch Ino with an Elbow smash, the P.I.N.K man then softened up Ino with a Mongolian chop, before attempting to get the POWAAAH and Paint star up for the Shock Treatment but Ino managed to slip off before pushing Toshusai towards the ring ropes, as Toshusai came off the ropes, he was nailed with the Kobra’s Bite, and that proved a decisive enough blow to earn Ino the victory. They started out exchanging holds, until Americana starting to take Miyazaki off balance with a series of arm-drags only for the new-comer to catch the masked man with an Running Knee strike. From then on Miyazaki took over, as he worked over American’s legs, grounding the masked man but at the same time setting up to apply the ankle-lock. Miyazaki went for the submission manoeuvre but Americana managed to kick the attempt off before downing Miyazaki with a belly to back suplex. Americana then went up top but he took a little too long and Miyazaki was soon back to his feet, however Americana dived off the top turnbuckle taking Miyazaki down with a Tornado DDT. Miyazaki got back up to his feet, but Americana regained control with the Tri-Fecta kick series…..Miyazaki then made the decision to roll out of the ring, but he was soon taken down with a handspring plancha. Americana rolled him back into the ring and an Elemental Suplex earned a two count. Americana then set up for the Elemental driver, but Miyazaki slipt out and countered with spinning leg-sweep, before nailing Americana with a brainbuster. That led to a two count and Miyazaki could sense victory in his official debut match and he lifted American up onto his shoulders for the Good Night, but the Junior star fought out of the predicament with elbow shots before catching Miyazaki with an Enziguri. As both men got up to their feet Americana rocked Miyazaki with a roundhouse, before delivering a heel kick to Miyazaki’s mid-section, he then double under-hooked Miyazaki’s arms and drove the Burning Hammer new-comer onto the canvas with the Elemental Driver. It could have to do with the fact that they have something to aim for, rather than this just being a randomly put together filler match featuring 4 mid-carders. As with Monday’s match this one started fairly slowly for the first few minutes, as everyone was given a little bit of time to ‘warm up’ against one another, but once SUKI had put Steve Flash in the SUKI Special only for Chuichi Sanda to break it up the match picked up several gears. The closing moments of the match saw SUKI duck an Explosion kick from Chuichi Sanda, and the youngster responded with a knee strike then a Northern Lights Suplex. Steve Flash came in to break up the pin attempt, as SUKI got up, he was nailed with a Super-Kick from the Canadian and then Sanda got up only to be sent back down to the mat with a Flash Bang. But before Flash could make a cover on either opponent, Rhino Umaga came charging out of the corner and Flash was knocked out of his boots with a Rhino Charge. Umaga then made the academic cover to set up an all Silver Dragon Feet Openweight Contenders match with Miyamae for next week. However Gilmore managed to back Sakai up towards the ropes, causing the rope-break , then when he caught Sakai with an Enziguri and then planted the rookie with an STO, the match turned fully in Gilmore's favour and when Gilmore drove Sakai into the mat with the Anger Management (Sit-Out Spinning Power Bomb) it was all over. Decent first outing for the Hinote Dojo graduate, he'll probably do a lot of jobbing on this tour, but he has the potential to develop into a valuable member of the roster for years to come. As soon as the bell sounds Konda takes the right right to Dragon, laying into the champion with a flurry of fore-arm strikes, Dragon tries to come back with strikes of his own but a drop-kick from Konda sends the champion out to the floor. Konda then looked to be going for the Tope-Con Hilo, but he put the brakes on when Dragon side-stepped out of the way. However the Size of the Fight Man then climbed the top turnbuckle, dove off and took Dragon down with a Tornado DDT onto the floor ! Konda then rolled Dragon into the ring........ One.... Two..... Could we have an early upset on the cards...... Konda made the pin attempt too near the ropes, and Dragon managed to stretch a foot out. Konda then pulled Dragon away from the ropes, and looked to set up for the Konda Driver but Dragon sneaked in a knee-strike to Konda's lower regions, and the champion then took advantage by planting Konda down onto the canvas with an STO. The champion then collapsed back onto the canvas to get his bearings back. As they both staggered back up to their feet, Dragon took advantage with an arm-drag, but Konda sprang back up and came back with a roaring elbow, however Dragon was able to duck at the last split second and the champion nailed Konda with a roundhouse kick, as Konda struggled to stay on his feet, Dragon then took Konda down with a snap suplex, before delivering a double stomp to Konda's chest and then springing of the second rope into a Quebrada. Konda managed to kick out of the subsequent pin attempt but Dragon was able to maintain control and he slowed the paced down by putting Konda into an Eastern Stretch. The Size of the Fight man still had plenty of fight left in the tank and he began to work his way out of the submission hold, so Dragon delivered a series of knee strikes to the back before switching the hold into a Dragon Sleeper. But Konda was determined not to tap out and he managed to make his way to the ropes.....Dragon held on for as long as he could, so make full use of the five count. Though Konda had managed to get to the ropes, the submission had sapped alot of his strength and he was still struggling. Dragon could see this and he taunted Konda, before paintbrushing the challenger. Konda though is the sort of competitor, who hardly needs an invite to get fired up and he came back with another fore-arm flurry, before knocking the champion silly with a roaring elbow, somehow though Dragon managed to stay on his feet and he quickly regained control with an STO. The champion then went for a Standing Moonsault but Konda got the knees up and then rolled Dragon up into small package. One..... Two..... Dragon kicked out and then he monkey flipped Konda towards the turnbuckle....however Konda managed to land on his feet and as Dragon got back to his feet he was immediately taken back down with a running bull-dog. Dragon staggered back up again but he was driven back onto the canvas with a Sunset Flip Power-Bomb. One..... Two..... Dragon kicked out. Konda then looked to finish things off with the Konda Driver, but Dragon fought off the attempt, before catching the Size of the Fight man with an Enziguri, Dragon then turned Konda around and dumped the challenger on his head with a Dragon Suplex...... One..... Two..... Konda kicked out but Dragon was still fully in control. The champion then made the decision to go up top, however he took too long as he posed on and Konda was back to his feet and he soon made his way up onto the top turnbuckle to join Dragon, they exchanged blows , and it looked like Konda was getting the better of the exchanges....... He sets up for a Big Fight Stunner from the top-rope but Dragon manages to shove him off and Konda goes back first onto the canvas. Konda is back up but Dragon dives off and he takes Konda down with the SENSATION SHOCK !! One..... Two..... Three !!! Sensational Dragon is still the champion. As good as if not better than their title match at Final Collision. Dragon is of course capable of putting on more 'epic' matches with the likes of Elemental II and Americana, but Konda is very capable of delivering enthralling mid length matches, a lot of which has to do with his never say die attitude resonating with the fans. Result: Sensational Dragon defeated Kansuke Konda in 13:48 by pinfall. Kudo directed traffic as The Rebellion double teamed McFly using a combination of legal and barely legal manouevres, which drew the ire of Nakasawa and Horri, however their prostestations only served to distract referee Koetsu Shinozaki, which allowed the Silver Dragon Feet trio to get cheap shots in on McFly. However just as The Rebellion looked to be setting up for a double slingshot suplex, McFly fought his way out of it and he took the former tag champs down with a DDT/Enziguri combo. However just as McFly was about to get over to make the tag into either Nakasawa or Horri, Hooded Kudo clubbed him from behind and he spiked McFly into the canvas with a DDT of his own, before officially getting himself tagged into the match. Kudo then charged at McFly with a Yazkuza kick, but somehow McFly managed to duck under, before dropping the World Champion to the canvas with a crucifix bomb. McFly then tried to get over to make the tag again, but Kudo grabbed his leg......McFly used his other leg to nail Kudo with an Enziguri. Both were slumped on the canvas.......Kudo dives over to make the tag into Miyamae, McFly then rolls across and Horri is in the ring. Horri takes down Miyamae with a running clothesline. Shimedzu springs into the ring, and he takes Horri down with a missile drop-kick, but Horri springs back up and he levels the Super 10 Cup winner with a Lariat......... One..... Two..... Miyamae dives over to make the save, and he chops Horri down with a series stiff kicks, Horri shakes them off but Shimedzu is back up and he takes Horri down with a leg-sweep. Horri tries to get back up to his feet, but he gets nailed with a sandwich kick from the well oiled duo. Shimedzu and Miyamae then lift Horri up and the pair take the tag champion over with a double slinghsot suplex..... One...... Two...... Nakasawa dives in to make the save. Nakasawa takes the fight to both members of the Rebellion, but Kudo is now back in also and the numbers game starts to get to be too much for Nakasawa. However Horri soon gets back up and the pair start to brawl with the Dragon Feet trio. Nakasawa back body drops Miyamae to the floor, but Shimedzu nails Nakasawa with a roundhouse kick that also sends the former World Champion to the floor, only for Kinnojo Horri to come along and Shimedzu out of the ring with a clothesline. Kudo then goes for a Yazuza kick, but Horri blocks it, and then he gets Kudo up for a vertical suplex, however, the momentum sends both of them tumbling to the outside....everyone is out on the floor...... Except for McFly who has climbed up onto the top turnbuckle, he turns his back to the floor.....Moonsault Press !!....and everyone is wiped out. McFly and Shimedzu are the first back in the ring, McFly whips Shimedzu into the ropes and he sets up for the Delorean Driver, but Shimedzu manages to put the brakes on and he catches McFly with a knee strike, before countering with a gutbuster and then a Tilt-A-Whirl Backbreaker , before spiking the former NOTBPW star into the canvas with a SKULL-DROP !!! One.... Two.... Thr......... Horri breaks up the pin, he pulls Shimedzu off of McFly and then he almost takes the Super 10 Cup Winners head off with a BURNING LARIAT !! One.... Two..... Thr..... Nooo !!.....Hooded Kudo makes the save, Horri gets up, kick to the mid section from Kudo.....KUDO KUTTER !!! One..... Two..... Thr......... Nakasawa is in to make the save......Kudo actually starts to fight back with with some knife edge chops but Nakasawa, soon stops the World Champion's flurry with a combination of fore-arm and knee strikes, before taking the World Champion down with a Hammerlock Divorce Court. Nakasawa picks Kudo back up to his feet, he sets up for the Nakasawa Neckbreaker......... Rhino Umaga has stepped over the guard-rail and he charges into the ring.......RHINO CHARGE !!!........ Nakasawa side-steps out of the way and the big Samoan takes Kudo out. Umaga can't believe what he has just done......Nakasawa nails Umaga with a drop-kick, that sends the Insurance policy to the outside, as Shinozaki struggles to keep control of the match. Miyamae is back in , shoot kick to the back of Nakasawa's legs, knee strike to the mid-section.....rolling cutter takes Nakasawa down. He then applies the Snake Poison, however McFly is back up and he breaks up the submission. Miyamae gets back up to his feet, Enziguri attempt from McFly, but Miyamae ducks under and he looks to have control as he sets up for an Exploder suplex, but McFly blocks the attempt and goes for suplex of his own......Miyamae blocks and makes another attempt himself, they go back and forth for the next half minute, eventually McFly is able to take Miyamae over with a snap suplex..... One..... Two..... Miyamae kicks out.....McFly whips Miyamae towards the ropes.....he goes for a super-kick but Miyamae ducks under, Miyamae bounces off the opposite ring rope but right into a DELOREAN DRIVER !! One...... Two..... Shimedzu is in to make the save....... Horri takes Shimedzu down with fore-arm smash Three !! This time Silver Dragon Feet are defeated, and they will now be aware that a new threat to their dominance has come into Burning Hammer, in the form of Sean McFly who goes 2 for 2 on his debut set of matches, and both times he pinned a member of Silver Dragon Feet. The main eventers have really managed to get the formula's of these six man matches down to a tee and once again they deliver and McFly seems to have settled in straight away and it looks like he could well end up as much as a star in Japan as he was back in his native North America. Result: Hiroaki Nakasawa, Kinnojo Horri and Sean McFly defeated Hooded Kudo and The Rebellion in 20:23 when Sean McFly defeated Miyamae by pinfall . Rating: A* Post match we see the babyfaces putting on a united front and celebrating in the ring, meanwhile out on the floor things aren't looking so good between Silver Dragon Feet. Miyamae is nursing sore head, Shimedzu looks frustrated and Hooded Kudo is berating Rhino Umaga for stuffing up the interference. Rating: C+ _________________________________________________ Overall: A This show started slowly, but once it got past the first 2 matches, it really started to gather momentum, culminating in a very good Junior Title match and another outstanding main event, that put McFly over as someone who could well make an impact in BHOTWG during 2008. ______________________________________________________________________________ T.V News: Ironclad drew a 16.94 Rating on TV5Monde ( + 2.14) This is definately more like it !! Both T.V shows going up in the ratings, I doubt it will last though.
Since I missed the opportunity to badly predict night one, I'll try to pick night two badly. :D
I'm still going to welcome predictions whenever they come in, but I wont be waiting round for them. With the switch to more summarised format (apart from Main Event and Title matches) for the regular shows, I can get shows turned around a lot quicker.
And a question as well, with the push of Kansuke Konda towards the Junior Title is my favorite tag team (Size of the Fight) on hold for now?
With Konda now losing twice in the Junior Title match, you're going to see a re-focus on Size of the Fight as a tag team. Konda's Junior Division push, was basically there to provide a little change from Sensational Dragon- Elemental II- Americana only competing for the title. It's pretty evident to everyone that Konda is capable of going it alone and delivering as a singles competitor, but I feel that Size of the Fight as a team still has some mileage left in them.

Purogods.com BHOTWG Samurai Spirit Tour got under way last week, and it continues on Monday 10th March at the Kagawa Sports Field in Shikoku, and then on Thursday 13th March at the Kunamoto Sports Field in Kyushu. Following Americana's acceptance of Elemental II's request for a re-match, the masked high fliers will once again compete for the Junior Title shot at Fire Dream of the Immortals, when they main event Monday's show. Thursday's main event also see's another high profile re-match as The Rebellion will get an opportunity to try and win back the tag titles from Kinnojo Horri and Koshiro Ino, the powerful duo dubbed HorrIno by the fans. There has never been any love lost between these two teams, as The Rebellion effectively replaced Horri & Ino in the new incarnation of Silver Dragon Feet. As a warm up to Thursdays Tag Title match the bitter rivals will also meet in a pair of singles matches, as Koshiro Ino takes on Miyamae, whilst 2007 Super 10 Cup winner Shimedzu faces off with Kinnojo Horri, in a re-match of their controversial group stage showdown from the Super 10 Cup tournament. What wont help The Rebellion's cause however is the fact that Miyamae will be pulling double duty on Thursdays show, with his Openweight contenders match with Rhino Umaga scheduled for earlier in the show *. Umaga will warm up for the match on Monday's show when he takes on Hinote Dojo graduate Heiachiro Sakai. Burning Hammer officials said that Silver Dragon Feet leader Hooded Kudo demanded that the contenders match take place this week, despite the fact that Miyamae was already booked to face off with Koshiro Ino on Monday and then compete for the tag titles on Thursday. Also on Mondays show Sean McFly will look to continue his winning streak since arriving in Burning Hammer , but he faces a stern test in the form of Yasunobu Masuno. Size of the Fight's Kansuke Konda looks to get back on track after his unsuccesful Junior Title challenge when he takes of Marihito Masuko. There will be a Six Man Tag with Burning Hammer regulars Mokuami Maita, Kenko Takemitsu & Dynamite Narahashi taking on the trio of Shingen Miyazaki, Bulldozer Brandion Smith & Steve Flash. Also scheduled for Thursdays show is a Junior Division 4 corner survival featuring Elemental II, SUKI, The Awesome Kiyaru and the debut of the mysterious Shiner, who impressed Burning Hammer officials in a dark match with Eagle Kawasawa. There will be more Junior Division action with Americana taking on Golden Scorpion. Rounding out Thursday's show Shingen Miyazaki takes on Mokuami Maita, in a 'showdown of the ankle-locks', whilst there will be another huge All-Star Tag as World Champion Hooded Kudo and Junior Champion Sensational Dragon team up to take on Hiroaki Nakasawa and Size of the Fight's Kansuke Konda. In injury news Openweight Champion Tom Gilmore contracted a bout of food poisoning and has been given the the week off to recover, before he puts the title on the line against either Miyamae or Umaga next week's show. O.O.C Notes: * Hands up time, I made a booking error with the up-coming Thursday show, I did not realise I had double booked Miyamae until after I had run that show. Without really giving anything away, thankfully Miyamae could cope with pulling the double duty. Seeing as I've already run up to the next PPV in the game, and have already written up the first 2 shows, there really isn't anyway of reversing my error, so I'm going to have to live with it. ____________________________________________________ If you have not already voted for the 2007 Burning Hammer awards (see the previous page for the categories) please do so soon, as the deadline passes at 6PM this Sunday. Whilst most categories do now have decisive winners, a few are still tied.
