brandocamandoSM
The Ultimate Football League is starting up and only two teams have been taken, Michigan and Nebraska ... so all teams are up for grabs ... GatorDog
Hey, this looks like the beginnings of a nice league. I put in my "application" today using the instructions in the FAQ section of the league's site. Let's fill up the new UFL with 119 competitors! GatorDog
Twice the fun Another thing worth considering in this league is allowing each franchise owner the option of coaching a non-BCS bowl team in addition to a BCS team. Then each of us would have two teams, and it would boost the number of human-controlled teams in the league's early going. A hypothetical example: you like UCLA, so you go to the UFL site and apply for that team using the instruction in the FAQ area. At the same time, you also apply for San Jose St. Now you'll have twice as much fun with recruiting, scheduling, and so on. The league doesn't have that option yet, but I hope it will be considered. Some of the other leagues (in which most of the BCS teams have already been taken) have dual ownership. It seems to work well from what I can see. An interesting question: what if you want your UCLA to schedule your San Jose St. for next season? Funny.
