Jersey All Pro Wrestling: Wildcard III and Beyond!

Recommended Posts

(After realizing that Global/National Feds are wayyyy to easy to run I have set out and found an indy to my liking... I do not know a hell of a lot about JAPW but I think I know some good basics... If you guys see anything needing corrections inform me... Thanks) Febuary 28th 2007 A day that many would soon call "The Day the Wrestling World was turned upside town"... or at least in New Jersey... For the past 9 years Jersey All Pro Wrestling Owner Fat Frank Iadevia has ran shows in and out of the New Jersey area with his Jersey All Pro Wrestling show which is definitally one of the most coveted and talked about shows in the whole nation... However one problem. Jersey All Pro has seemed to grow and grow and grow and then one day the hype fizzled down. After successfully running shows in other states such as Pennsylvania and New York for the past year and a half JAPW has unfortunately not moved around that much. Also with the news of the Weekly Internet Show JAPW World Wide on hiatus things did not look to bright.... On Febuary 28th Fat Frank the owner of JAPW finnally got tired of the booker Ray Seager's and fired him. This came as a "WorldWide" (No pun intended) shock as Fat Frank and Ray had always been very good friends. It was really nothing personal except Frank was losing money and Ray was not making it. I guess I somehow got involved in all of this for a number of reasons. The first logical reason that can be though of is the fact that I had been working with the JAPW for close to a year and held a student night show once a month out of the Rahway, NJ High School Gym. These shows did not draw as well as the main JAPW Shows (Which drew in the 900-1600 Area) but however we did top out at 530 on one night which was astonishing considering none of the talent were "Stellar". Frank liked the fact that I was willing to work with the students and the fact that I made him a little extra cash and helped JAPW stay afloat during a hard time. So on Febuary 28th Frank called me into his office with Ray Seager in there at the same time. Frank: Josh go ahead sit down... We have a very important matter to discuss... Josh: Sir?? Frank: Josh JAPW has been around for over 9 years now and over these nine years we have flourished into an independant wrestling hotbed. However we are at a fork in the road and we have not found much sucess lately. I of course have noticed other indy's like ROH and PWG flourishing while others like CZW on a downhill slope. We are at the point of our history where we either go up to the top or down to the pits of hell. Comprende? Josh: Yes sir but what does that have to do with me? Frank: Josh do you realize if we ran JAPW off of your student night shows alone we could be making money again? Do you realize that your easily one of the best writers in the state for the fact that you take our students and make them into stars and worthy of using on our roster?! Josh: I would not say that... Ray: Josh I told Frank to call you in here because I knew you could do the job... So please take my job... take JAPW to the top... Just let me stay on staff and watch the meteoric rise! Josh: Alright... I am game After a handshake, a wink and a good old fashioned beer to go along with it the deal was sealed and JAPW had a new booker!

My first show?! After walking for the first time into the JAPW Office on March 1st 2007 kind of a surreall feeling hit me. I knew that what I was doing was big but man things kind of hit bigger and bigger as my day progressed. The first thing I saw on my desk was a note from Fat Frank himself that listed a few things on there... The first visible thing said that he was out of town this week and so I was put in charge of JAPW offices for a little while. Some of the other things on his note said that he does not want me bringing in any talent from ROH and or PWG or any other notable indy fed. He says it is better to raise up your own Homegrown talent and then let them shine. This would be one of the hardest goals as I really wanted to bring in some new talent not already on the roster from those respective companies. I also knew that it would be difficult to find good indy talent not from there... ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Booking The Show: My first problem in booking the new show would be who do I put the belt on? Before I came in as the booker Teddy Hart had won the JAPW Title and then had some more outragoues Teddy Hart demands such as a personal massager and Jack Evans to fued with him... for no reason. So of course out of instinct he would end up being fired... From yet another company... So instead of booking a whole tournament Ray Seager the former booker wanted an 8 man gauntlet on the night of Wildcard III to determine our new champion... Hey cool with me... The debacle was not if there were worthy enough workers to put the title on the debacle was who to put the title on... AJ Styles ,Homicide, Samoa Joe and Low Ki are four of JAPW's top stars but its only a matter of time before TNA says "Hey you cannot wrestle there anymore...". Not to say we won't use them in the match but they definitally won't be taking home the gold... My next problem is that every single star on the roster had asked to be in the 8 Man Gauntlet... Now I could not put everyone in there but to be fair I extended the Gauntlet to 10 men (Hey there is no such thing as an 8 Man Gauntlet in TEW... Deal with it). I finnaly decided who would win the title (This could be very contraversial) after hours of thought... I submitted the idea to Fat Frank and he agreed it should happen. The rest of the show would be fairly easy to book so that gave me great relief. Afterall the show is called Wildcard so nobody truly knows who they will be facing until well they face them!

Lol thanks a lot Forlan. I knew it was either he asked for one or he brought one because Teddy Hart is always doing crazy ****... Its actually rather entertaining and I hope he finds new work elsewhere. The Ray Sager thing helps too... After my first show if there is anything "Incorrect" notify me and I will work hard to fix it... I would like to you know just watch a lot of JAPW and learn myself up on the product but that could take a while JAPW.com Press Release about the 10 Man Gauntlet! The rules for Saturday's Ten Man Gauntlet have been SET!!!! The following are the rules for what could be the biggest match in JAPW History! 1. Contestants shall enter at two minute intervals. This will happen until all ten contestants have been put into the ring 2. Eliminations can happen by either pinfall, submission or knockout... 3. Eliminations can happen in the ring or within the ringside area This is sure going to be a stellar match on what many people are calling an already stellar show!!! Get your tickets now!

There will be no pushing of Danny DeManto good sir. But I am sure no booking methods will be somewhat unorthodox... Good news is I just finished my first show in the game and I gained popularity (Lost $3,000 but it was an expensive show). Teddy could always come down here to Texas we have so many asshats like him on our indy scene he would fit in perfectly... This is coming from a Texas indy worker...

He says that tonight his plan was to have his mystery talent come out and wrestle Davey Richards. He then states that weather has restrained him to not be there but as a treat he has flown in another superstar to face Davey Richards making it a three way match! Rating: D Time: 6 Minutes Notes: D-Factor is not even in the game nor do I have a picture of him so he will never actually appear but he will always cut a promo before each one of his matches with his talent in it... Kind of like an eccentric billionare who is way to busy to show up at his own show... VS. They both got on the mic and said that they are getting paid more by D-Factor than JAPW ever paid them. Davey Richards comes out to a big pop and tells them that first they sold out to TNA (BURN) and then to D-Factor! Richards says that only a few years ago both of them were being talked about as if they were the future of wrestling and now they still have not reached the top yet. Richards says that over the past year he has become the new Future and tonight he will show why... A great opening match that just showed the JAP fans that the Main Event would be one worth remembering. Richards, Joe and Styles all three went in looking like gold by exchanging kicks and various moves on each other. Styles and Joe turned on each other early on much to the delight of the fans in the Jersey crowd. A high point of the match was Richards nailing a Springboard Shooting Star on Styles and Joe! Richards got the win after Joe nailed Styles with the Muscle Buster which allowed Richards to come into the ring and nail Joe with the D.R. Driver (Doubleunderhook Brainbuster) for the upset victory!!! Rating: C+ Time: 14 Minutes Notes: I put Styles and Joe with D-Factor because I want D-Factors fued with Davey to be big and I only use Styles and Joe on occasion and they are not "Every show" kind of guys... Things start off with what the fans might define as "Slow" as B-Boy came out to a decent pop and waited for his opponent... Things picked up after this "Ole" by the Bouncing Souls hit and El Generico ran out to a loud pop. Generico and B-Boy started things off pretty slow with some technical exchanges and dropkick tradings. Generico caught B-Boy off guard with a Hurricanrana at the 1:52 Mark and was waiting for him to get up when... 2 Minutes into the Match Homicide runs into the ring from behind El Generico and attacks him. B-Boy and Cide beat down on Generico for a minute or two and then set up a move that would shock the foundation of JAPW. Homicide set up Generico for the Cop Killah and B-Boy jumped off the ropes and double stomped Generico down... The referee would then check on Generico and held up the X Sign... Generico had to be rushed to the back! Our next competitor then entered! 4 Minutes into the Match Steen ran into the ring pretty pissed off (Generico is one of his friends after all/Rival) Steen ran in and knocked Homicide out of the ring with a Dropkick and then nailed B-Boy with a Package Piledriver after some back and forth action and eliminated him! Steen then jumped out of the ring and attacked Homicide... Our next competitor would then enter into the ring 6 Minutes into the Match "Freebird" blares over the loud system and every white trash person with a mullet haircut pops instantly (You know you have been to a concert where someone yells "PLAY FREEBIRD") Necro attacks Homicide with a chair and then turns around nails Steen with it... Cue Necro chants... Necro would then go up to the top turnbuckle only to be cut off by Steen and Homicide... Who double-superplexed him off the top rope onto the floor! Steen and Homicide would continue to battle while Necro laid down on the floor in pain! Our next contestand would then enter into the ring!... 8 Minutes into the match! Jay Lethal would enter the ring to the loudest pop of the night (His parents are at every show for christ's sake.) Lethal would come in and nail a spinning Roundhouse on Homicide and nail Steen with a Snap Suplex. After locking in a One Legged Crab on Steen Homicide jumped Lethal and threw him out of the ring... Homicide would then do his patented Cannon Ball Suicide Dive to Necro who had somehow gotten the ability to even walk again and Lethal... At this point Kevin Steen sat in the ring and pointed at his head saying he knew better!... Next contestant! 10 Minutes into the Match! Ruckus snuck into the ring very quietly and threw Steen out of it onto Necro, Homicide and Lethal. Ruckus then hit the ropes and did a Cart-wheel then jumped over to Top Rope with a No Hands Moonsault onto Steen, Necro, Cide and Lethal! Crowd starts a holy **** chant and every is down. Steen made his way into the ring first followed by Ruckus who would attack Steen. Ruckus and Steen fought back and forth until Steen missed a clothesline allowing Ruckus to nail Steen with a Superkick followed by a Cart-Wheel to Standing Moonsault! Steen has now been eliminated!... Next Contestant! 12 Minutes into the Match! Samoa Joe entered into the fray and went immidiately after Ruckus. After some brief back and forth strikes Ruckus got the best of Joe with a Superkick. Joe recovered from it fast enough to not be hit by the Cartwheel to Moonsault move that Ruckus has been kicking ass with! Necro Butcher then cut off Joe with a Chop-Block to the knee that TNA has been claiming hes injured with! Necro beat down on Joe for a while with Ruckus and Lethal reentered the ring and cleaned house leaving him and Joe into the ring... Homicide entered back into the ring and they told Homicide to bring it but Cide held up a 1 Second Sign as Low Ki's Music hit... 14 Minutes into the Match Ki entered into the ring with Cide and we have a battle between the Strong Style Thugs and Lethal/Joe. The battle got bigger and bigger until it reached the top rope with Ki and Joe on top... Ki ended up hitting a HUGE Ki Krusher off the Top Rope enabling Ki to eliminate Joe next! The next competitor would then enter into the ring! 16 Minutes into the Match! Delirious would enter into the ring followed by Butcher, and Ruckus and take out the Thugs and Lethal... A three-way match of sorts started between Necro, Ruckus and Delirious who ended up doing some cool things. There battle would then enter onto the top rope with Necro on top trying to give a Hurricanrana to Delirious and Ruckus trying to fight Necro off of Delirious. Samoa Joe came into the ring with a Table and setting it up in the middle. Necro quit trying to give Delerious a Hurricanrana and tried for a SuperPlex. Ruckus would then springboard off the Top Rope and hit a Sunsetflip on Necro which ended up SUPERPLEXING Delerious through a Table!!! Necro would then roll over and pin Delerious!!! 26 Minutes Into the Match! The final five are in the ring with Necro, Ruckus, Homicide, Jay Lethal and Low Ki all staring down. The first two people to charge across the ring were Lethal and Homicide while Necro and Ruckus just sat there and watched and Low Ki continued looking like a Mortal Kombat character! Cide would go for a Cop Killah but Lethal landed on his feet and hit the Dragon Suplex for the elimination! While this was going on Ruckus and Necro attacked Low Ki so he could not save Homicide! 32 Minutes into the Match! Ki was then triple teamed for a while by Ruckus, Necro and Lethal in order to prevent him from possibly walking away a champion. Ruckus would turn on Lethal however in the middle of the action while Necro and Ki continued to fight. Low Ki got Necro Butcher down after a Dragon Kick and hit the Pheonix Splash for the elimination of Necro!!!! 40 Minutes into the Match! Low Ki did not have time to celebrate this fact because in less than 2 seconds after it Ruckus and Lethal attacked again! Ki would get beat down for the next 3 minutes until he pulled off a Double Lariat on Ruckus and Ki and pinned both of them!!! Low Ki is the new champion at 44:23 Seconds!!! Or is HE?!! El Generico limped out from the back and demanded his title shot as he was never truly eliminated! Generico and Ki then started to fight with Ki taking advantage of Generico for most of the battle. Ki and Generico both got on the top rope and Ki pushed Generico off the top and nailed him with the Warriors Way! 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . KICK OUT!!! Much to the surprise of everyone El Generico kicked out of the Warriors Way which popped the crowd hugely! Low Ki would then pick up Generico and set him up for the Ki Krusher! However as Ki was about to slam him down Generico reversed it to where he landed on his feet and nailed a BackSlide!!! 1 . . . . . 2 . . . . . . 3!!!!!!! El Generico wins the JAPW World Title at 48:35 and celebrates in the ring with the fans as he is shown visibly crying!!! Winner and new JAPW World Heavyweight Champion!!!

This went very well for them until JAPW Superstar Colt Cabana made the save! Challenging them to next weeks episode (1st Week of April Edition)... After JAPW Booker Josh Montgomery reached Colt he said he was unavailable to finish his prior bookings... This upsets Colt but he will surely be missed here at JAPW After much search for a new star to enter into the Triple Threat everyone backstage agreed it needed to be a star up to Colt's status. After a petition passed around the locker room and the rally of many internet fans everyone agreed that the new replacement will be young Missouri Superstar Matt Sydal. Matt has made an impact in Dragon's Gate, Ring of Honor, IWA:MS, Full Impact Pro and Combat Zone Wrestling and will surely be an awesome replacement in an already loaded show!

I'm a huge JAPW fan, I used to work for NWA Cyberspace/Shockwave and I've met both Fat Frank and Ray personally. Great guys and great promotion, I hope you can live up to their status, haha. I loved the first show, dude... D-Factor is actually named Johnny D. His stable is calling D-Factor and the woman in his stable is named Alicia. She is a pretty good worker. I didn't really like seeing El Generico as champion, just because I'm not a big Generico fan. I'm hoping Davey takes the title from him eventually.

Can't say I agree with you not liking my Generico title reign... But hell its America so I will fight for your rights to say it... Somone will take the title off of him eventually but don't expect it anytime soon I want to make him a credible champion... I have no clue about Billy Reil... Davey will be getting a huge push of course as I think he deserves one and could very well be the future of the indy scene. I hope I can live up to it too... About to get show two up I hope

After a long negotiation process with both MSG and Local Network: Tri-State it was agreed that JAPW would get shows with both of them. The first one is JAPW WorldWide and it will air at 11 O Clock while JAPW Aftershock will air at 11:30 on MSG. Each show will only last thirt minutes, but the upside is is that anyone who gets MSG probably gets the Local Tristate Network which will help ensure that they get an hour long JAPW Fix every week. JAPW has promised both networks they will not favor a certain network and will provide all the best talent on both shows! JAPW promises only the best talent to be shown on both shows and hopes that everyone is looking forward to the debut of JAPW on TV as much as we are. See you at the matches!

Things start up with a Lockup but Steven immidiately goes for a Sky High which Jack dropkicks out of an lands on his feet. Steven looks stunned and gets ready to pounce with a Clotheline... Jack reverses it by grabbing Steven's arm and backflips while holding into it like a Gymnast and nails Steven in the back of the head with a Judo kick... Steven finnaly goes for a move that Jack cant reverse and nails Jack with a slap to the face... Jack jumps up into the air and slaps Steven and gets the crowd going. Steven then nails Jack with a Chokeslam and works on Jack for a minute. The crowd hates Steven immidiately after he got the advantage on Jack Evans. At one point Steven went for a Suplex but Jack reversed it by landing on his feet and then nailed Steven with an enziguri that sent him out of the ring. This enabled Jack to fly and hit a Springboard 450 to the outside on the big man. They stay down for a minute and end up going back into the ring. Kazarian and Hero started off slow with Lucha Moves and Kazarian reversing ****. Hero kept thinking he had the match won when he would hit his "Big Moves" and kept trying to pin Kazarian with one foot. Kazarian however would have none of this and kicked out every time. Sonjay and Delirious both got good face heat but nothing that great. Sonjay and Sydal started things off with a "Hey Bitch TOP THIS ****" battle on Delirious. First Sonjay hit a Hurricanrana and then Sydal hit his Cyclorana (Very fast inverted Hurricanrana) and then Sonjay hit a Standing Star and Sydal hit a Stand on your back then Moonsault on Delirious. At one point the referee Bryce Remsburg, Matt Sydal, Sonjay Dutt and the Commentator Monsta Mack got on the four posts of the ring and the ring announcer slid in a Microphone to Delirious who yelled his first words of English ever "THIS ISNT EVEN PAY PER VIEW". Delirious would then run against each rope at lighting fast Delirious speed and crotch all of them! Funny spot. Sydal and Delirious started trading stuff but Dutt cut them off and threw Delirous out of the ring. Delirious hits a Dive so does Sydal then back into the ring! Twice a week was not enough for him so he then started traveling to Pennsylvania to train with the ROH, CZW and CHIKARA schools. Jackson comes in as someone that has never been in wrestling but could make a huge impact soon. Jackson is also the current UFC Fighter with an in-ring victory over Chuck Liddell... Of course he can do the brawling game but how well will he do in the technical or even flying game... Watch out for the debut of Quiten Jackson soon in JAPW!!! Jackson sucks but he gets a good pop from his UFC Fame so unfortunately he has to be used. Evans tried to convince Jackson to work with him but Jackson kept focusing on doing shoot fighting bull**** and it cost the team the match when Evans went for the 630 and Jackson pulled Kingston out of the way to lock in an ARMBAR! Hill then ran in and grabbed him for the Sky High and Kingston got up and Superkicked him out of it after jumping up in the air about 2 feet! Jose then got tagged in and quickly cleaned house... Joel and Jose then did a Flip Suicide Plancha/Suicide Dive combo onto Azrieal and Lethal which got the crowd pumped up! Lethal and Jose then got back into the ring while Jose and Azrieal were out. They wrestled for a minute until all four men were at the ring area. Sydal, Delirious and Frankie then came out and said they were here to dethrone the Kings and pull a King Loius on them. Hero told all of the fans that they have a Napoleon Complex in there opponents tonight (French Revolution Joke). Things began with Matt Sydal and Delirous and the fans got a ROH Chant going while the rest of the fans battled with a JAP Chant! The match started off slow with some high tension between the teams. Things quickly picked up and we had your usual multi-man match spots (You know such as a Dive Spots and Pyramid Bombs). Corvis Fear got the upset win at the end of the match with a Sunset Flip Powerbomb on Sonjay Dutt! Afterwards on the replay it was shown that Matt Sydal had hit Delirious with Brass Knucks at one point in the match. Kazarian challenged them to a very unique match at Caged Fury 4. Pretty good shows so far, but I'm sorry I do not see this Steven Hill guy as a star for somewhere such as JAPW, especially in a tag team with someone like Eddie Kingston. Kingston needs to be main eventing and feuding with the likes of Joe, AJ, and Homicide... I'm sorry but El Generico does not cut it for me, haha. I would believe Danny DeManto as champion before Generico.
