Good luck with the diary, interesting to see SAISHO back on a touring schedule, given MJM's approach, but it makes (financial) sense I guess, the only time I tried running that company I went bankrupt real quick doing a single show per month.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That song is doing it for me right now haha. I've been following your BCG diary and pretty much every Puro diary I can find because I love BCG and EX2010 and just the smaller companies in general. I'm terrified that after I run this A-1 I'm going to lose the majority of the names in it to the bigger companies!</p>

It was rare for Dylan to see his father this way, but he knew about his temper and about his ability to hold a grudge. Dylan was aware that his father wasn't happy when he had heard he had been training with Calvin behind his father's back. His dad hadn't even been in the same room as Calvin's father, "Uncle Steve" since he had walked out on CGC after getting into a massive fight. Alex and Steve had completely avoided one another, but that didn't mean that Dylan and Calvin would want to do the same. The two were close when they were kids, and when Dylan's parents split up he took the opportunity to visit Calvin more, saying he was staying with his mother while in reality he was training with Calvin and Uncle Steve. Steve had been opposed to it at first, not wanting to make Alex and more angry at him, but at the same time he relished the opportunity to mould Alex's son into one of the best wrestlers in the world, and he wasn't going to pass up that chance.</p><p> </p><p> Needless to say, Alex eventually found out. He didn't stop Dylan, as he was happy to see the boys getting into the family business, but at the same time he wasn't happy about it. He had his first phone call with Steve since the incident due to this, and his anger stemmed from Steve's discussion with him. </p><p> </p><p> "So..." Alex sounded calm on the surface, but Dylan knew that it would be nothing for him to bubble over, his father's temper being legendary. "Your...uncle...tells me that he wants to send you and Calvin to Japan. Says he convinced Edd freaking Stone of all people to go with you...I always told your uncle Ricky that Edd was bad news, and sure enough he gets fired from TCW, the Stones won't take him back, but for some reason...Steve...ugh" He visibly sighed as Dylan stood his ground, long blonde hair falling in front og his face before he brushed it away. "Steve thinks it's a good idea for that degenerate to take care of you kids. I don't know what he's thinking...he always had stupid ideas but this one takes the cake."</p><p> </p><p> "Look dad." Alex took a seat and removed his glasses, cleaning them and shaking his head. "Uncle Ricky and Uncle Jack are locked into contracts here. Edd is the only person who Uncle Steve trusts to take us there who isn't locked into a contract keeping them here. He says it's a great opportunity for us, and we can learn a lot from going there..."</p><p> </p><p> "I don't like it Dylan. I don't like you being with Edd Stone and <em>his</em> son in a competently different continent...why can't you just come work for CGC? If Cal is half the wrestler his dad is he can get into the Stone promotion and the two of you could end up leading the two top promotions in Canada one day." Dylan's face soured at the suggestion.</p><p> </p><p> "We are going to Japan because there's no way you'll let me work for the Stones and you won't let Calvin come work for CGC because he's Uncle Steve's son. We want to work together Dad, we want to get better. We're going to Japan to study under Mito Miwa. Edd set it up already." Alex chuckled at this.</p><p> </p><p> "Mito Miwa? The Pride Warrior eh?" His anger seemed to fade slightly. "Couldn't get Kudo and Burning Hammer to bring you in? Too bad. There's never been a DeColt in Japan, that's usually Stone territory...but if you're willing to put in the work in SAISHO then it's up to you...They're awful to their "young lions" over there though, they'll beat the hell out of you kids. I hope you know what you're getting into."</p><p> </p><p> Dylan seemed shocked. He had expected that conversation to be much more difficult and negative than it had turned out to be. Maybe this was a step towards him and Steve getting back on talking terms? He doubted it...but it didn't hurt to think it.</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </div></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="l5j95SQ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/l5j95SQ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p>

  6. <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:50%;box-shadow: 0 6px 12px ";"> A Letter from Mito Miwa Greetings readers, and welcome to Pro Wrestling SAISHO, where the greatest wrestlers around the world come to fulfill their Destiny. It has been nearly two years since I purchased the company and set it upon its current path, and 2016 is going to be a very exciting year for SAISHO. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we have planned, but in the meantime I have a few things that I can talk about. Firstly, you’ll notice we won’t be running any shows in January this year. We will be taking the month off and giving our workers a chance to train for the A-1 Grand Prix tournament, which this year will feature a deep 32 man bracket in single elimination format. The tournament will begin in February and ride through March on the first tour of our brand new Touring Schedule. Our off months will be January, May and September. We look to blend the past and the future of Puroresu here, and therefore will adapt the traditional touring schedules. How will we look to the future however? Well, unlike the rest of the country, which divides its workers based on their size into Junior Heavyweight and Heavyweight brackets, we will be running a purely Openweight roster. That means that any man can come and challenge for any title, so long as he has earned his right. We have made several signings of hot free agents and a handful of hopeful Young Lions who will be looking to prove themselves in our system, including the sons of Canadian megastars Alex and Steve DeColt, who look to sharpen their skills in Japan so that one day they can revolutionize Canadian wrestling with the influence of the best wrestling in the entire world. Along with the DeColt cousins, we have added the following free agents to our already fantastic roster; Young Lions -Gidayu “The Lariat” Katou -Motoyuki Miyake -MUSCLE Serizawa -Omezo Shikitei who looks ready to break out at any time. We have also added Evil Spirit, who looks to prove his worth, and former INSPIRE prospects Hitomaro Suzuki and Tornado Nagai, who are both polished workers looking to make a name for themselves. We have also had workers from several different promotions from all over the country (and the world) who are looking for a chance to prove themselves in the A-1 Grand Prix as this years tournament should be an extremely exciting affair! Thank you for following our journey friends, and I hope you enjoy what is to come! Mito Miwa </div> OOC: This is my first crack at something like this. I'm a huge Puro fan, and in C-Verse I do tend to stick to Japan, though I've never ran Saisho before. Hopefully people will enjoy this, and hopefully I'll be able to stick to it!

The Japanese touring schedule really helps and as soon as PGHW got bought out and I was able to steal some of their big guys it just shot me up.</p>
  8. Calvin King RTG CV97 Nokori Pro Wrestling Kinki Japan Owner: Hayate Hasegawa -I have almost 20mil in the bank. That said I have a lot of people making decent coin and I might have to start looking through to see who I don't want to keep around. -BHOTWG dropped Tim Westybrook so I have him back for the first time since year 1 or 2. -Tim Westybrook has become a very negative influence! I should have checked first! -Thursday Feb week 4 I hit National. Swapping to percentages so I can confirm if I get an A+. -Won the alliance title in a match I thought would have gotten it but I made the mistake of making it 22 minutes and steal the show...won't make that mistake again. Alliance title vs Hooded Kato at my next PPV in a call in the ring epic. -Crusher Ichihara has retired. I inducted her into my Hall of Fame (since she qualified). I also inducted Sakurako Kagawa who qualified for her Colour Commentating since I have replaced her as a colour commentator, though she is still my road agent. -Bought out Westybrook for the rest of his 1 year deal. He was being a total prick backstage. -Cornell got into a fight backstage. I've been tossing around on his future with my company. I don't really want to give him up but at the same time it would save me some money down the line. I might start building people up to take over his position. Maybe Jack DeColt. -I'm planning on having Kudo defeat King for the Survivor Tournament title...I made a storyline for them. -Kudo wins the tournament and the Alliance World Title, match rating A. One tour down with no A+! Tour 2 -First Show of the second tour I have completed my challenge. Team Dynasty vs The Canadian Destroyers A+ The Match: The Company: 5.5 years in. I am enjoying this. Time to make it a global company and then push to get King into the Hall of Immortals. I'll probably do an actual journal down the line, I think that would be fun. I've done a lot with this company and am excited to keep playing them. Sorry for the spam over the past few days, but I've been having a lot of fun with this and wanted to keep it going! I have another RTG planned in Canada in 2016. We will see how that goes! I'm much better at booking Puro.
  9. I kind of feel bad for spamming this thread! But I've been pushing through this. I'm probably pretty close to the end. I expect next year I will complete the challenge. That being said.... Calvin King RTG CV97 Nokori Pro Wrestling Kinki Japan Owner: Hayate Hasegawa Year 5 in the books 2001 Tour 1 Notes -March week 3 2001 I had a new best match in company history, which involved The Darkness (Dark Angel and Black Cobra) vs The Canadian Destroyers (Tayler Morton & Calvin King). It got a 94. King's performance was a 95. It was also apparently headlining my second highest rated event ever at an 89 (Previous was Gift of the Gods in Dec 99 at 90) -Broke 10 million, though my worker costs are about to kick in. -Surival Tournament happens this month, I am not enturely sure who I want to win it, but I'm thinking Victoria Stone. -King headlines a new second highest rated show at 90, his match is a 91 where the three other members were all off their game and he still managed to pull in a big rating. -Next Show, King vs Morton gets a 92! -Got a good broadcaster deal with medium coverage in all of Japan now. 2 years in late evening slot. I've also been killing it on every show recently besides the odd missing an auto booker slide in a matchup that's been shown too many times. -Economy started falling at around 70, we're now at 52 wrestling industry and 56 economy, they're about to pass each other. Hopefully the economy comes back up soon. -All of my events are rising in importance haha. -Had stupid good luck looking at who was available in Free Agency. Mito Miwa, Eisaku Kunomasu and Yoshimi Mushashibo were all there. I forked out 80k between the 3 of them to keep them away from Burning Hammer and PGHW. Their popularity is great, they're all super skilled, and the matches they all put on in their first show were insane. Tour 2 notes. -Hooded Kudo will now negotiate with me...I hope this goes well. -Brought Kudo in, hopefully the combined drawpower of the 4 stars I'm paying 150k total for launch me into national. -Burning Hammer dropped to Cult after buying out PGHW in April. I missed that but that's crazy. Probably where the good wrestlers came from. I wish I had bought them out. I am now more prestigous than BHOTWG and number one prestige in the world as there are currently no national companies. -Auto Booker booked an angle between Mushashibo, King & Kudo which was rated 100. -I apparently need to fish for good tag teams in my heavyweights. I had a few contracts I had to let run out and didn't realize how much it had affected my tag teams. -BHOTWG removed Kaneie Komine as their CEO. Holy crap. Time to keep an eye on the news to see if they're in enough trouble to let me buy them! I"ll take all of their titles. -Hooded Kudo wins the Grand Prix against Mito Miwa, the match rating is 96 The show rating was a 93. -"So far" awards. Nokori is company of the year! Nobody is currently at National so this makes sense, we're killing it. We also have Show of the Year and my UC is projected to be Young Wrestler of the Year, as well as Sensational Ogiwara as Female Wrestler of the Year. It could be an excellent year for awards for us. -Hooded Kudo gave Gakusha a broken freakin neck. Fortunately that doesn't sideline people for too long. Interesting note as well, BHOTWG just fired a bunch of people. I "toured" them and they are the 30th richest company out of 30. I'm sure they'll claw their way up. -Tour 2 is in the books and I've got a new best event rating at 95 and a 98 match between Hooded Kudo and Tommy Cornell that main evented that one. I selfishy don't want anyone to surpass that until King gets there. Tour 3 notes -Just had 2 99 matches back to back, the main event one involving The Canadian Destroyers and Team Dynasty. The show was a 97 -Victoria Stone vs Hooded Kudo just got a 99! -And theres the first 100...Mito Miwa vs Tommy Cornell! HE beat me! BOO! -I am actually closer to National than I thought I would be. This is very exciting. There is a very small chance I'll hit it before the end of the year. -Dan Stone Jr has been getting injured more frequently. I am sad to say I might have to let his contract lapse when it comes up. He's also actually becoming less useful. I am not sure yet, but my plan is to jump ship to ACPW (I know, crazy) when it opens, I might pull him in there if I can. End of Year Awards: WotY: Yoshimi Mushashibo (Nokori!) CotY: Nokori! TotY: Inukai & Mushashibo (Also on Nokori!) MotY: Miwa vs Cornell (Nokori!) SotY: Nokori: Heritage Tour day 3 YWotY: Calvin King! VWotY: Yoshifusa Maeda FWotY: Sensational Ogiwara (of course) Most Improved Company: Saisho Referee of the Year - Kitahachi Sonoda (My ref since the beginning) We won 8 of the year end awards. Power 500 my top 5 Yoshimi Mushashibo - 1 Mito Miwa - 2 Haruki Kudo - 5 Shuji Inukai - 8 Calvin King - 11 32 of the top 100 are my guys. Calvin King is the 88th most popular wrestler in the world, and second most popular in Japan behind Haruki Kudo. Yearly Roll: 6: Master and Deciple - I've chosen to become Haruki Kudo's protoge. He's been doing well for his two protoges so far, hopefully he will do the same for me. I need to be ready!.

I picked up Thunder Hike and a match that was her and Crusher Ichihara vs Sensational Ogiwara & Calvin King ended up being the highest rated match we've had so far at 79.</p><p> </p><p> Close to the end of March, so far I've made 50k this month. The Wrestling Industry is at 98 or 99 and rising, which is nuts. I signed Dark Angel and my roster looks...very different from where I started off haha. Cant wait to see what kind of matches Cornellverse Sting can put on for me. I'm at 42 importance in Kinki right now, not sure what the caps for the broadcasters are, but I'm hoping I'll be able to get onto one soon!</p><p> </p><p> Incoming 32 man tournament, I just signed a bunch of people. Hopefully I have enough days!</p><p> </p><p> Calvin King won the tournament, I made Thunder Hike and Golden Scorpion a bit mad in the process, and Jeremy Stone in the final (but what an epic match it was!) The prestige for that tourament title went up to 100 percent for my Survivor Tournament. Next year I need King to not be in it. He currently isn't popular to put into the Junior Heavyweight title position, as the 5SSW girls are still way more over. </p><p> </p><p> I made 215,943 in April. I am officially making decent money! In all honestly I have never played a game that went like this, so this is kind of exciting.</p><p> </p><p> I am ready for my second tour, picking up a couple of people from the tourament (Dark EAGLE didn't want to come back because I made him lose to Golden Scorpion...) I also was able to get to a point where I was able to get on the Kinki locak broadcaster, huzzah! Economy is 55 and falling, Wrestling is 97 and falling...but 97 is still good. Hopefully I can ride it out for a bit.</p><p> </p><p> Calvin King is at 103 - 0. Realistically the Goldberg push means whoever beats him will be launched...but my roster is so good right now I'm stuck in the midcard essentially. It's interesting to note I am no longer a young lion, which is the quickest I've ever seen that shed.</p><p> </p><p> Made 35k on my off month, time for the Grand Prix.</p><p> </p><p> Dark Angel won the Grand Prix title, giving him a shot at the Junior Heavyweight title. The prestige of the title went up to 90.</p><p> </p><p> Start of July. Sensational Ogiwara is the early bet for Female Wrestler of the Year (hell yeah!) and currently the young wrestler of the year is Burning Exile...I don't know how I'm supposed to pass him...but I can probably get into some matches to do so. I made 276,064 for the month. My importance in Chubu, Chugoku and Kyushi are quickly rising, so who knows. I might have to cap at regional just so I don't get screwed when I pop up to Cult.</p><p> </p><p> Apparently Burning Hammer didn't want British Samurai, so for the first time in almost a year he's coming home!</p><p> </p><p> King is at 116 - 0...I'm thinking of having him face Ogiwara on the last show of the year and having him lose to her to really cement how good she is. Then I'll put the tag titles on the Stones and have King take the Jr title.</p><p> </p><p> Junior Heavyweight title is at 100 prestige at the end of July. Sensational Ogiwara is insanely good.</p><p> </p><p> Funny side note, apparently two people are able to be inducted in our Hall of Fame currently, Calvin King and my referee! Good job Sonoda my dude! (By end of year Crusher Ichihara was added to this list)</p><p> </p><p> I end the year with 2.5 million in the bank. I'm going to get that win back at the end of 1999 to bring in the new millenium as the Junior Heavyweight Champion.</p><p> </p><p> My booking Reputation is 53 and my Booking Skill is 71.</p><p> </p><p> Here are my current skills (not going to screenshot the growth because I'm a bit lazy right now) <a href="https://i.imgur.com/iCAgxFO.png" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/iCAgxFO.png</a></p><p> My popularity - <a href="https://i.imgur.com/OIbHPTo.png" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/OIbHPTo.png</a></p><p> And the importance of my company - <a href="https://i.imgur.com/MyeXByM.png" rel="external nofollow">https://i.imgur.com/MyeXByM.png</a></p><p> </p><p> My rolls:</p><p> 1)31 "Solid, Liquid, Gas" +5 Consistancy</p><p> 2)50 "Keeping it in the Family" Create a sibling at 17 with the same 750 stat cap.</p><p> </p><p> Guess it's time to bring in my brother Dylan, just in time for my next tour! Tayler Morton is getting to the point where I should have him strike out anyway, but he'll be perfect for our faction.</p><p> </p><p> My personal goals are to strike out into Chubu and bring it up to the high 30s. I also ideally want to bring Kanto up, but that's more difficult at this point. The nice thing about bringing up Chubu is it has 40% spillover in Kanto, so that'll help there.</p><p> </p><p> Lets see what 1999 has for me!</p>
  13. I decided to take this challenge a couple of days ago and started a touring company in Japan in the CV97 mod. I've been taking notes and actually have quite a bit to sift through from my first year. Calvin King is my UC https://i.imgur.com/QMW3efS.png https://i.imgur.com/6pCbBCl.png https://i.imgur.com/p2gMe3w.png And Nokori Pro Wrestling (from Christian_shane's custom belt thread here: http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=541737) https://i.imgur.com/t3B2KhR.png https://i.imgur.com/7HYgfeX.png Obviously this is favourable towards sponsorship and with the touring schedule I was hoping to get my popularity and money flow up fairly quickly. When I started my game I ended up getting Hayate Hasegawa (46 wrestler in Time Decline, but decent stats) as my owner, and he was very nice to me. Goals Critical - NPW Must have at least as much pop in Japan as start (2 y, 8m) Average - No hiring people with law problems (2 Years, 8 months) Average - No hiring Psychopaths (1 Year, 11 months) Average - No hiring anyone over the age of 38 (1 year) My starting roster looked something like this (and it's worth noting I have only 2 of these guys who aren't me or the owner left, the rest got released or poached) Roster British Samurai - 450 per show, touring, 22 yo Calvin King (user) - free, written, 18 yo Fukusaburu Inao - 250 per show, touring, 21 yo Haru Kurofuji - 240 per show, touring, 21 yo Hayate Hasegawa - 840 per show (working for free), ppa, 45 yo Kaneie Ichihara - 280 per show, touring, 22 yo Silver Shibanuma - 220 per show, touring, 20 yo Washichi Inao - 480 per show, Exclusive PPA, 22 yo Staff Kitahachi Sonoda (referee) - 280 per show, Exc PPA, 24 yo As of the start of the game I had a "Heavyweight" and tag team title, as well as a couple of tournaments set up. I put the Heavyweight title on Hasegawa on my first show and decided he would eventually put over king after about a year and with King on a nice long winning streak. I fairly consistantly did shows every 3 days on my touring months, 1 hours each, mostly with 4 workers on them (one of them being King or Hasegawa because they're free). First tour was my Rising Tiger Tour, and I ended up dropping and signing people on and off, picking up Tayler Morton (aka Acid, who is currently a rookie). He ended up being put into a tag team with King called The Canadian Destroyers (for obvious reasons) and the two of them won the tag titles together at my second big show. Hasegawa got injured for like a month and then announced his retirement, which was a bit frustrating but not unexpected. I ran my first tournament which King won and involved Golden Scorpion and Black Eagle (who are both still with me). 3 shows before my first tour ended I hit small. My month off between tours gave me 9k, so I was in the hole...but less so? Decided to run my second tournament, the Grand Prix, to pick the number one contender (aka eventual winner) to Hasegawa's title...that was a great idea, until he retired literally 5 days and 2 shows into my tour. He went into the hall of fame because why not? He was my first champion. Good news, I have a road agent now and don't have to keep making King the road agent (though King was better but whatever). Tom Gilmore wins the Grand Prix and he and King have a match for the vacant title, which King wins of course. Yay new champ. Good match too. This sets up the Firespitter Tag Team Tournament (tribute to Hasegawa's former tag team) and leads to me making the mistake of hiring Hasegawa's wife, who breaks one of my goals and ends up just being angry all the time. The British Invasion (British Samurai and UK Dragon) win the tournament, they're nothing special as far as chemistry, but do happen to both be good workers. Main Eventers didn't like it and I had to kind of ignore them until the end of the tour. Made 8k on my month off! PGHW poaches British Samurai, which sucks because he was consistently fantastic. I picked Dan Chow-Mein from Hinoto Dojo because I like his face and name and that he's Chinese. He's actually pretty good too, which is fortunate. Golden Scorpion is turning into a beast for me, same with Washichi Inao. Them and Morton are almost as good as King as far as performances. Beginning of my third tour (the Heritage Tour) I tour GCG and notice they are the 23rd richest company out of 23...which is insane. 5SSW got bought out by BHOTWG as well, which was shocking to me. I love them. I nab Kit Hatoyama from that, she's great. Since I'm now making money instead of losing it I also nabbed Black Cobra (or Duane Stone outside of Japan). He's opposed to moving to Middleweight, but oh well. I'd have liked to have picked up Black Angel, but Stone is 1k cheaper. This leads to one of the craziest moments for me. Canadian Destroyers defend against Black Cobra and Kit Hatoyama, and both of them outperform King for the first time since...well ever I believe. BHOTWG buys out GCG. There are only 4 Japanese promotions left (another one closed that I can't remember the name of). I made 16k in November and decided to bring in some muscle. Crusher, June and Ogiwara from 5SSW and Gakusha & Nagai from GCG boost my numbers, 2 good heavyweight tag teams and one of the best Junior wrestlers in Japan. King is 70-0! We jump to regional and I bring in Jeremy Stone and Tim Westybrook, along with a few others? I expect the journey to Cult will take a while but I don't mind. Being able to sign people to written contracts would be good, especially with the amount of shows I run, but I have time (hopefully). King ends the year at 76-0 End of the year comes around and my stats look something like this now: https://i.imgur.com/4UKzNv2.png That's before my roll. Progress below: https://i.imgur.com/voFfG1W.png https://i.imgur.com/kKjruSE.png https://i.imgur.com/Uhhi4MO.png https://i.imgur.com/wfg9dx6.png https://i.imgur.com/3FUnag4.png King's top 10 Matches - https://i.imgur.com/nsMPiLt.png Company top 10 Matches - https://i.imgur.com/r204R1L.png Company top 10 events - https://i.imgur.com/PmAZMpp.png Company Progress - https://i.imgur.com/zcweLg2.png Power 500 Rankings for my company - https://i.imgur.com/mSMDkoT.png There's more but I don't take too much stock in it because I'm pretty sure everyone is in the power 500. My roll was 31 "Solid, Liquid, Gas" so another 5 to my consistency! I'll be back with year 2 when it's done. I'll try to keep it short, sorry for how long this post it!
  14. <p>CGC will likely be closed, or on their last legs. More people will leave them for NOTBPW. ACPW will likely have a very different roster with Atherton, Duvak and potentially the Vipers being picked by bigger companies. BCG should be looking pretty good with their fantastic crop of young talent, Razan will be preparing for his run as the face of the company. I'd like to see WINNOW finally debut, but it'll be tough with Fuyuko Higa lighting up the wrestling world when she becomes one of the best wrestlers (men or women) in the world. Her loyalty to 5SSW could see them really stand a chance at rising to cult, since the insanely talented loyal roster will look to really show what they can do, provided the tsunami didn't hurt them too badly.</p><p> </p><p> Australia might surprise people, they currently have quite the crop of young talent, tons of insane high flyers and if a company like ACPW were to open up (YWwhatever it's called) they would likely do very well fairly quickly.</p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately I don't know much about the rest of the world. I generally only play in Canada and Japan!</p>
  15. I've been searching for an exciting active Japanese Dynasty and you happen to be doing my favourite promotion. Looking forward to following this! Excellent work so far.
