  1. I almost did SAISHO again, especially now that they have Miyake and Katou...but I couldn't let GCG stay dead...even if I dont like them haha

I always sign up Brilliant White when I'm playing in England.</p>

So if this is anything like that, then I'm in and keen to learn! <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Glad to have you back on board ♡ I imagine itll be similar. This is definitely a heavier hitting roster. Almost all of my smaller guys are brawlers or technicians and obviously the GCG cast handles itself well to good hard hitting fun. Hopefully I can do it justice!</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Hashasheen" data-cite="Hashasheen" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="48093" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>TBH, if GCG was going to die, then I wouldn't have minded the WCG renders coming into play and a junior-friendly variant popping up to complement BCG. I don't know if you read CGN91's WCG dynasty in TEW16, but between the title renders produced and the detail work he's done in the dynasty it actually made me plot out a BCG-WCG double split with GCG dying in 2009, where BCG was the heavyweight traditional paradise under Maeda-Yoshizawa and WCG was the junior-women's experiment. BCG got Hyobanshi-Gakusha, while WCG got 2000-SUKI. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> That said, if someone wants to book juniors, then that's what EXODUS is for! <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'd have liked to have seen that. I dont play my "juniors" as the high flying type generally, save for Edd Stones finisher which I always picture as double foot stomp. I believe the last match I wrote for Stone was just him straight up murdering a veteran with no flash. The DeColt boys are lightweights but very much strikers. I'm a big fan of technical wrestling and solid striking so it's what I tend towards. </p><p> </p><p> I did follow that WCG diary, as well as your BCG one. They both helped me quite a bit when I was trying to figure out how to do this kind of stuff. I'm very happy to hear you checked out my SAISHO diary and hope you'll enjoy what I've got cooking. I see a lot of Furusawa armbars in the future of GCG</p>
  4. I did a SAISHO dynasty in TEW 2016 and created these two third generation DeColts for it. They are based closely off of Steve and Alex DeColt's stats from the CV '97 mod, though toned down a bit. Calvin is Steve's son and Dylan is Alex's. I always thought it was a crime that the DeColt's didn't have a third generation, so I made my own.
  5. They're actually currently in the process of being resigned. Same with SUKI who I thought had been signed by someone bigger than BCG and apparently was wrong. It will be so much sweeter when I tip my hand and show just how shameless I am haha. Gakusha, Hyobanshi and the rest of the crew in BHOTWG are also all on my shortlist. Let me also mention I have always disliked GCG and generally prefer BCG or SAISHO, while tweaking them slightly to fit my means. The fact that they closed made me want to actually play as them for the first time, while again tweaking them to suit my means. Kudo made a lot of mistakes, but one thing he didnt try was working with Juniors. He modernized in the wrong ways and paid for it.
  6. Shhhhh it's okay. Were touring again! People might not notice that almost half of my roster is Juniors.

He had found his life to be quite quiet recently, realizing that he had been missing when he would work constantly. He had at one time never had to worry about where his paycheck was coming from, and while he still had money saved up from his days of working as a wrestling announcer, the work wasn’t as steady as it once was. He would take the occasional independent booking, though they paid a lot less than he was used to making, and it wasn’t quite the same as being the voice of one of the oldest and most well respected companies in the world...or at least it had been at one point. He would let out a sigh as he thought of the days of Kudo running the company, something that seemed quite exciting at first, but quickly turned out to be much worse than he had initially expected.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em> Hori would hear a knock at his door and paused in what he was doing, predicting he had a few minutes yet until the water was ready as he would make his way to the door. He wasn’t as young as he once was, being sixty at this point. He would slowly open the door, the man standing there certainly not someone Hori had expected to see today. Sadakuno Nishimuraya stood on Hori’s step, a man whom he had followed during his career, though their work had never overlapped. Nishimuraya had retired as a wrestler from Golden Canvas Grappling the year before he had started working there as an announcer, and he had never gotten the opportunity to call one of his matches, though he was a big fan of the man’s work, and what he would eventually do with Pro Wrestling SAISHO as well.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hori:</strong> Nishimuraya, what a surprise. What brings you to my humble home?</p><p> </p><p> <em>Nishimuraya would bow courteously towards Hori. He was also sixty years old, and was a mountain of a man, Hori unable to not think of what he had looked like in his prime. The two of them hadn’t aged well, but a man this big certainly looked like he had lost a little more over time.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Nishimuraya:</strong> Hori-san, I’ve come to see if you have a few moments to talk. I apologize for intruding, and for not calling ahead...but it took me a while to track you down.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hori:</strong> Of course I have time. Please, come in. I am making tea. Make yourself at home.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Nishimuraya would sit at Hori’s table, nearby as the water would come to a boil, filling a pot and timing the Oolong tea he was making.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hori:</strong> I find tea is a great way to relax...especially recently since I haven’t been working as much.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Nishimuraya:</strong> I understand that feeling. That’s part of why I’m here. I hope you haven’t decided to retire that beautiful voice just yet.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hori:</strong> Ha, you flatter me. I’ve been taking the odd indy job here and there, but work has been more difficult to come by since GCG closed. Nobody wants to pay me anything reasonable these days. They’re all kids, of course. No respect for their elders.</p><p> </p><p> <em>Hori would poor the tea, placing a cup in front of Nishimuraya and then taking a seat with his own, taking a sip and setting his cup down.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hori:</strong> But no, I have not retired yet...what did you have in mind?</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Nishimuraya:</strong> I’ve recently been in talks with the bank to try to figure out what it would take to buy the rights to the GCG name and titles...even got the money I would need to do it. I just wanted to see if you would be willing to help an old man out. You’ve got as much experience in the business as I do, I figure if the two of us are running things, maybe we can steer the ship in the right direction...unlike...</p><p> </p><p> <em>His voice would trail off and Hori would shake his head. He knew that he was talking about Kudo, of that there was no doubt. He had never taken on a booker for the company, instead deciding to completely control everything himself. This had caused him to never have anyone to answer too when he was dealing with some of the more...interesting decisions that he had made during his career. He could still remember the outrage they had received when GCG went away from a traditional touring schedule and had joined the Modern Japan Movement. He fully understood why Maeda had left, but Hori had believed in Kudo, as had many of the people there.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hori:</strong> And who would you bring in? Gakusha and Hyobanshi are in Burning Hammer these days, the rest of the men scattered to the winds. I can’t imagine they would come running back for the chance to work for us again...</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Nishimuraya:</strong> I have already been in contact with a few people. Miyazaki, Shimizu, Kikuchi, Koruba and Urogataya are all interesting in returning. Suzuki and Kato from INSPIRE and a bunch of the guys from Warrior Engine as well. The DeColt boys got Miwa’s blessing to help us out, and Edd Stone said he’d come to help train them, some promise to Steve. There is a tremendous amount of young talent to tap into, lots who would be interested in coming to work for us...I just need an announcer, and of course a booker. I’ll even let you choose your own broadcast partner.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hori:</strong> I imagine the people would be extremely unhappy if Kudo ended up beside me again eh? <em>laughs</em> It’s a tempting offer Nishimuraya, it would be nice to get monthly work again.</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Nishimuraya:[/g] Oh, not monthly. We will be running a touring schedule, like the old days. No reason to bring back the limping dead version of the company when we can have the true Golden Canvas Grappling once more.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><em>Hori would take another sip of his tea, thinking this over. The names he was presented were certainly interesting, to say the least. There were several people whom he had been watching on the indys, a lot of young names he had been tracking, including a few of the people whom had been mentioned. It hadn’t even been three full years since the company had shut down, and yet here was a man who was offering to give him his world back. He would finish his tea before speaking once more.</em></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><strong>Hori:</strong></strong><strong> I want Uboshita. And if it seems like you’re going to go down a similar road as Kudo, I’ll be out. I won’t live through that again.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><strong>Nishimuraya:</strong></strong><strong> Deal, I’ll call him up. And don’t worry. Nothing too crazy...but we should look at bringing in Juniors.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><em>Hori would shake his head and laugh. This man was already making changes, but he couldn’t see this hurting at all.</em></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><strong>Hori:</strong></strong><strong> Very well, you’ve got yourself a deal...The Golden Lion will rise from the ashes. </strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><strong><em>The two of them would shake hands, Nishimuraya finishing his tea, and they would sit and talk for another hour before Nishimuraya excused himself, Hori getting out a list of phone numbers of people he would need to contact...he supposed it was as good a time as any to get back to work...</em></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </div></strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> </strong><img alt="FxAwVEr.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/FxAwVEr.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p>
  11. I've been waiting to see Alex pop up after I saw he didnt have a job. Looks fun!
  12. I've played a little bit in Australia but never with RAW so I am quite interested to see how this goes. Their goofy soap opera style should be fun to read. Looking forward to it!
  13. Not gonna lie, when I saw how similar this looked to WMMA5 I was really hoping for the contract delegation feature. I'm not complaining, but it's one of my favourite little quality of life things from WMMA5
  14. Is it silly that I feel so much pride when I see you using those boxes? I want to start a dynasty so badly, but also know that I'm going back to work in a month so if I'm going to do it I'd better prewrite so much content! And knowing me, of course, my first chunk of game time will be R2G...and due to my love of Puro, and my love of the DeColt family, and my sadness over the fact that we have zero third generation DeColts, I'll be doing the Calvin DeColt saga...but that's not all! Bringing a golden boy like that to Japan there's only logically one company he can join...and that, of course, is the now defunct Golden Canvas Grappling...but what if they were reopened? So you see my dilemma, I am the worst for getting busy, and my work is very demanding of my time...but maybe we'll try it just one more time. (I'm not already writing for this or anything >.>)
  15. I'm glad I found this game a year back, as I've enjoyed every second of it, but when I found this forum and the wonderful diaries that everyone has worked so hard on it really made it so much more to me. Thank you everyone for your tremendous work, and I look forward to seeing what 2020 has in store for all of us! Also thank you Togg for your amazing work with keeping track of all of this and writing it up <3
  16. I have kind of an odd question, but this is the questions thread. I was unable to access this account when I bought a new computer and forgot my password for my email account. I created a new account to start posting a diary I was working on...being this: Link Should I continue writing it on the new account or take over from this one? I honestly don't know what makes more sense o-o Or should I make a new topic as a continuation? ANY help is appreciated <3
  17. Amazing work! Thanks again for everything you do!
  18. Thanks for your picks folks! I've gotten a bit busy due to the holidays, though tomorrow I should be free to post, and then after boxing day again! Thanks for the support as always!
  19. Going to be a day behind posting results on this one. I've got some prior engagements to deal with this evening and tomorrow morning~
  20. Siah463 - 4/6 DarK_RaideR - 3/6 Joshbrady91 - 3/6 As always thanks for the support! I'm booked to the end of my first tour right now with my plans for the rest of the year written up. Any more bios you guys want to see, let me know!

He leaned in his corner and watched as Sam Keith made his way down thewrds the ring, the legend meeting cheers from the crowd but not playing to them as he focused intently on Stone. Unfortunately for Sam Keith, he was very clearly outclassed in every way against the younger worker in the ring. His age was holding him back and Edd Stone not only took advantage, but he pushed that advantage into the realm of excessive force. Sam Keith was barely allowed to get any offence in throughout the entire match as Stone laid into him with viscious kicks and forearm strikes. bruising and battering the older man to the boos of the crowd. He would slap Keith's hjead when he was on his knees and brush his boot off on his face when he was down in the corner after having hit him with a running knee, not resorting to his general high flying offence at all as he didn't feel the need to pull out his big moves. He likely could have won the match after a few minutes, but he refused to put a pin or submission on Sam Keith until he was sufficiently beaten, instead choosing to continue his assault. Eventually Keith would no longer be able to stand, mostly not moving at all, before Stone would hit his Party's Over on him and pin him by putting a foot on his chest as the referee counted. After the bell he would kick Keith in the side once more for good measure and spit on him before leaving the arena, Sam Keith being stretchered out and the boos completely deafening. It was a back and forth affair the entire time, each man impressing the crowd with his prowess. When Fox Mask and Marihito met in the ring they stole the show, the two juniors working as hard to show up all of the Heavyweights as they could. The crowd was on their feet as the high flyers bumped their ways around the ring, Marihito tagging Greg Gauge in finally, who would catch Fox Mask mid air and toss him so hard the crowd gave an audible gasp. Fox Mask would tag in Eien Miyamoto who would burst in a d rush for a Lariat, which Gauge would counter beautifully into a Proton Lock, causing Miyamoto to tap out. Razan Okamoto was fired up for this match, the youngster looking very impressive against a man in the prime of his career. Both men looked absolutely fantastic tonight, Okamoto using his speed to his advantage, while SUKI took it to him with thunderous strikes, strikes that Okamoto took in stride, telling the champion to hit him harder with each. The two would exchange elbows and chops, going back and forth until Okamoto became staggered, at which point SUKI ran toe ropes to hit him with a running Lariat. Okamoto managed to duck out of the way of this move and took a swift kick at SUKI's shins, making him stumble. He would go to take SUKI up for the Brainbuster Suplex, but SUKI would get out of it, at which point the two began to trade finisher teases back and forth before SUKI would finally catch Okamoto with a Mountain SUKI before locking in the SUKI Special III for the submission victory to retain his title. This match managed to stay a tight and impressive matchup all the way through, with the experience of both teams really showing as they worked together as two completely cohesive units. The Machines went out there on the night to prove that they were the best tag team in the company as Serene K took the fight directly to PRIDE Koiso, showing him that he wasn't going to let his opponent intimidate him. What followed was a stunning display of strikes and throws, Koiso eventually gaining the upper hand and wrestling Serene K into his corner as The Machine Gun watched on while his partner began to be worked over by their opponents. Kamisaka would be stomped away at, chopped, and taken up for a massive double powerbomb before being covered, at which point Torii would explode in and break it up, hitting Koiso with a belly to back suplex directly into the ringpost before going after Kozue Kawashima. Serene K would hit a massive DDT onto Kawashima before throwing him into his own corner, tagging in Torii before holding Kawashima on his shoulders as Torii hit a flying forearm on him. Koiso would come back in the ring as Serene K would Lariat him directly over the rope. Torii would pick Kawashima up off of the matt and give him an insane Spinning Forearm Smash, making the champion see stars and rolling him up for a very tight three count for the win. Serene K would join his partner in the ring and hug him before the former champions would grab the belts and make their way into the ring, the Machines ready to fight once more, before Kawashima and Koiso handed them the titles and raised their hands, the crowd exploding with cheers from the amazing showcase they had just witnessed. They shake hands in a show of mutual respect before the bell wins and the two heavyweight contenders engage in a hard hitting afair not to be missed. Furusawa tried to turn it into a wrestling showcase as Hyobanshi tried to keep it as a striking match, often going on tyrades on his opponent before Furusawa would catch him and throw him to the ground or the corner. Hyobanshi kept the advantage early, turning Furusawa completely red with strikes to his chest and collar bone before Furusawa turned the tides by irish whipping Hyobanshi into the corner and lifting him up for an insane Superplex. The action would go back and forth for nearly a half hour until Hyobanshi looked to finish it by bouncing off of the ropes for a massive lariat to set up his Nova Bomb Redux. Furusawa would manage to counter his Lariat and put him into the Furusawa Armbar, which would cause Hyobanshi to tap out for the submission victory. Furusawa would help Hyobanshi to his feet as Masayuki Shiga would make his way out to the ring with the Challenger Series medal and put it around Furusawa's neck, setting him for a date at BCG Challenger Series in the first ever triple threat match in company history for the Challenger Series title. Takayuri 2000 and the BCG Openweight Champion Magnum Kobe stand in the ring as streamers are thrown in on them, young lions coming to clear them out before the match begins. The match begins and at the bell Takayuri charges Kobe and takes out his knee, attempting to clip the wings of the high flyer before going to attack his core, trying to soften him up for his Perisian Deathlock. Kobe would fire back with strikes of his own, the two extremely well rounded competators showing off what made them huge stars over the years. It was amazing to see both men pull out all of the stops in a fourty minute classic, the striking, wrestling, and high flying on display from both men tremendously impressive. There was no point where it looked like either man was outclassed by the other, and the nearfalls kept the drama extremely high. When they got into the final stretch of the match and both men were trying to set up finishers the crowd was on its feet the entire time. THe match would end when Takayuri 2000 went to lock in a Peresian Deathlock, which Kobe managed to power through and counter into his rarely used Magnum Deathlock. The Champ was the better man on the night as Takayuri 2000 was forced to tap after being locked in for over a minute. The event ended with Kobe hoisting his Openweight championship over his head and everyone in the crowd going absolutely insane after the phenominal card they had just witnessed. 23. Poor Ishii 1. Minoru Suzuki vs YAMATO. Seems like he's getting a big push and while it's hard to bet against Suzuki, these tournaments are a great way to make stars. 2. KENTA vs SANADA. Again, SANADA has been booked poorly in world title matches over the last few years. I think the storyline he's in could lead to an interesting him vs Naito thing, but I don't see it happening over KENTA 3. Kota Ibushi vs Jay White. Ibushi is one of my favourites, especially because of his work in the Golden Lovers...and man do I absolutely hate Jay White...but White has literal nuclear heat right now. He's one of the most over heels in the entire industry...I have to give it to him. 4. Tetsuya Naito vs Hiroshi Tanahashi. Naito is Ace material, where as the Ace is slowing down. Obviously all of my picks tend to be a bit more based on current world NJPW, but give me some time and I'll adjust to the fantasy booking!
