  1. I love this. I always have the least fun in TEW when it feels ‘gamey’ and when I start making ‘gamey’ decisions, so will definitely keep this in mind. Cheers!

It forces me to slow down and actually plan storylines and angles instead of just gaming for a score.<p> </p><p> <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l3jNWsjdlGleVtEKJZHrv6z_9-S8GuOw/view?usp=sharing" rel="external nofollow">https://drive.google.com/file/d/1l3jNWsjdlGleVtEKJZHrv6z_9-S8GuOw/view?usp=sharing</a></p><p> </p><p> is an example i did just today. instead of a normal Promo - Show Open angle that i have, i wrote out the whole thing with the authority making a match for a #1 contender.</p><p> </p><p> i try to do this for at least one angle and one match per show.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This is great. I reckon you’ve totally changed the way I’m gonna play the game there. Thanks so much for sharing!</p>
  3. What do you all do to make your game ‘realistic’? For example, when playing a real world mod I’ll follow the booking that happened IRL for at least the first month to replicate the ‘settling in phase’ when someone starts a job in reality, meaning I’m not only taking over from a real point in history but am able to sit back and watch the current plan unfold and plan my own adjustments and improvements. What do you do in-game to make the whole experience feel more realistic, especially with RW mods? Do you play theme music? Create entrance specific angles for each wrestler? Do you only hire wrestlers that worked in the company IRL? Would love to hear your ideas and things that work for you!
  4. Thanks so much to you all, this is so useful! Keep it coming people, is much appreciated
  5. I’m absolutely loving it and am more into my save than I’ve ever been before. TEW 2016 is completely obsolete to me and I’m addicted to this game. The game world just feels so alive and unpredictable. One very happy customer here!
  6. Wow, this game is just incredible. Makes 2016 unplayable imo as every single change add up to make a massively improved game.
  7. Will buy as soon as I can and can’t wait to do so. Loving the game this year and blows TEW 2016 out of the water so much that I can’t ever return to it.
  8. Totally agree! Incredible to have a team that are working so relentlessly on improving the game.
  9. I totally feel that man - this game has helped me in similar ways and I know everything people are saying only comes from a good place and wanting this awesome series to be even more awesome. It’s really important we mention issues and share our concerns, I just sometimes worry about the tone we drift into (often accidentally) and the fact there’s one dude with all of this on their shoulders. I’m just so grateful this game even exists ha! Take care man.
  10. I get that we all love this game but some of the replies and the ways people talk about Adam and his work are nothing short of entitled. Compare this to WWE’s 2K series. You can tell Adam truly cares about the quality of the product and I have faith that he’s doing all he can to make it as good as possible as quickly as he can. I’m not saying we can’t make requests and give feedback but surely we can all remember this is mainly one dude making a computer game that gives so many people lots of happiness and enjoyment. Especially in the current circumstances, a little bit of kindness and consideration of the human behind the game would go a long way I reckon!
  11. This doesn’t seem like a helpful observation. As a few others have said, I’ve been playing and lurking since the EWR days but just never felt compelled to setup an account until now. Don’t think using how many posts someone has on a message board to separate where someone’s opinion might be coming from is that helpful. Big, big fan of this game and think it’s the best in the series so far.
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="TOTKingNothing" data-cite="TOTKingNothing" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47578" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>The realism argument comes in when you are comparing it to other things happening on your show.<p> </p><p> Is a Torrie Wilson vs Kat Bra and Panties match supposed to be capable of having the same rating as Shawn Michaels vs the Undertaker, just because they are rated on different things?</p><p> </p><p> The answer, for most people, is no. Torrie vs Kat should be able to be rated well in the right product definitions, but it shouldn't be capable of hitting top scores because, no matter how good the rating is, it still probably isn't a "good match."</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This feels absolutely spot on to me.</p>
  13. Game isn’t out on Thursday any more sadly
  14. Thanks for the reply. Yeah, went into the editor and removed hard user etc. Doesn’t even improve when I turn ‘Lifestyle Effects’ off in the editor. No idea how to solve this one. It’s still 6-8 people each show.
  15. Can anyone offer any help on why in my converted 1994 RW mod I’m getting 6-8 workers turn up too drunk or high to work and being sent home on every show? I’ve made sure they don’t have Heavy Drinker, Heavy Drug User etc but no improvement. I know it was the 90s and there was a lot of that going on but it’s making it unplayable having 6-8 top guys sent home every single show. Thanks in advance for the help!
  16. Big fan as it feels closer to reality - the game tells me what the fans see while I decide how I book. Previously all I really knew was how *I* chose to categorise workers. Also, it is a bit volatile but the IWC feels volatile in reality too, just need to read Reddit or Twitter after a PPV to see people saying how character X or character Y have been ruined or squashed etc.
  17. <p>Hadn’t even realised you could do that, thanks!</p><p> </p><p> Whisper it but I don’t even hate the UI tbh. Certainly not enough to ruin the game for me.</p>
  18. Just found that workers can also have multiple roles, e.g a wrestler and a road agent, or a manager as well as an occasional wrestler.
  19. <p>Also small things that I’m really enjoying : fully customisable e-mail notifications, road agent notes on angles, yellow text for champions and red for unavailable workers and the different UI for different eras (the 90s one is great fun!)</p><p> </p><p> The new gimmick system works well and makes gimmick changes much more exciting. Talking to workers is also a game changer!</p>
  20. Yeah, feels like attributes really make workers three dimensional and each one has a different feel now. Also love the idea of the stables addition though I haven’t had chance to implement it fully yet.
  21. Yeah, agreed - great to have a way for your plans to be locked in and acknowledged in game.
  22. Seeing a lot of hate on the UI which I can see to a certain extent but nowhere near as bad as many are saying. BUT, the gameplay is incredible. So many brilliant quality of life fixes and you can tell this is built for long term play. Thanks Adam and the team, very happy with this and can’t wait to see where it goes with patches etc. Thought it’d be a nice idea to share the new additions people love or are getting enjoyment out of to balance out some of the toxic comments. So, what are you loving about the game?
