1. Respect the OGs Your next three title changes must be won by members of the original roster. The Jannetty Effect You must make a World Champion of one of The Varsity Blondes, Top Flight or The Gunn Club, while the other member of the team must never rise above lower card status. The Final Reinvention Chris Jericho can not be allowed to retire until you have debuted a new gimmick which receives a Legendary rating. Once this is achieved he should be given a final World Championship run.
 2. Hi all Looking to start a post Vince, post Summerslam WWE game, playing as Triple H. Would love some rules please? Feel like there’s lots of rule potential here! Thanks in advance.
 3. Rebooking the Invasion Hi everyone I'm going to have a go at rebooking the invasion in 2001, with the real rosters (no Turner contract buy outs until they expire). Can I get some rules please? Especially ones that'll force me to book differently to real life.
 4. Thanks so much, these are great! I've started seperate to the guys WWE signed though so I don't have Kanyon or Lance Storm sadly..
 5. Doing WCW Lives (2001) with a rebooted WCW led by a Bret Hart/Sting/Ric Flair/Dusty Rhodes coalition. Any rules please?
 6. Hi everyone, Hope you're all doing ok! One of the things that I struggle with most in long-term real world games is keeping my booking etc realistic to the time period. For some reason, it feels important for me to do so as 'creative parameters' but I often find myself booking historical mods unrealistically. So my question is - What do you do to help keep your booking in line with the time period? Are there in-game tricks/options you use? Do you have limits you put on yourself? Do you only tell certain kinds or stories or book certain match types? Does most of it happen in head cannon? Do you only sign people in the year they were signed in real life? Do you hold back on pushing Steve Austin, or giving him his Stone Cold gimmick? Or do you not bother with any of that and just book how you wish the era was? Really looking forward to hearing responses. Am a huge fan of this game, but want to play 1995 as 1995 and not rush ahead to Attitude or modern sensibilities...
 7.
I recently had a revelation on how to book TV and it's completely changed my TEW playing for the better.

The key for me is PRE BOOKING. I book one show with my storylines developing and as I click through the results I always click 'Pre Book' and put in the continuation of that segment for the next week. Then, when it comes to that show the majority of my story continuations are already there and I just fill around it. Most of the time I end up with a full show just from responding to the week before.

For me, this works brilliantly and means I only really have to think about booking that first show and the rest starts to flow really naturally because I'm linking it all up rather than struggling to remember what I did and what I had planned. It also feels realistic to me as shows like Dynamite will always announce next week during this week.

Hope it helps. It also makes coming back to the game after a week or two away much easier.

 8. It's made a real difference to how I play the game, making TV much more fun to book. For me it's a way of making sure my stories follow a natural progression week after week as I'm essentially always booking next weeks matches & angles in response to what happens this week. I try to pre book a segment for next weeks TV in response to every meaningful segment I have.
 9. Wow this is so interesting. Does it add to your immersion? Does it mean you slow down and do everything in more detail? Would love to hear more or see a screenshot if you don't mind sharing?

 11. Hey all, I love this game and I love this series, BUT I often spend ages setting a game up (tweaking rosters etc) only to struggle to move forward. Whenever I've managed to get past a month I've usually gone on to have really fulfilling games but can't always manage it. So, what do you to start a game effectively? What do you do to make sure you set yourself up for a good save?
 12. Hey all, Hope you're all doing okay and keeping healthy in this strange situation we're all in. I thought it'd be worthwhile starting a thread of tips to help us all get used to the changes between 2016 and 2020. So, what's changed, how does that affect how we actually play the game and how do we succeed?
 13. Thanks for quick responses, I'm constantly trying to find the balance between fun/challenge/realism and is really good to hear how other people play. I love the idea of owner goals making you do things you wouldn't usually do. I've often been annoyed with them (e.g. I can't hire Jericho in 1994) but actually it does mix it up a bit and stop me just hiring and pushing my favourite guys and gals.
 14. Hey y'all, Having a great time with the game! Few things I could do with hearing some opinions on : Who plays with Owner Goals on? Why? If you don't, why not? Who plays with Strict Storylines on? Why? If you don't, why not? Thanks! Hope you're all keeping safe
 15. I dunno, see your point but in that example even if the majority of a show rating comes from the main event it's natural that fans would feel at least a bit disappointed if the entire undercard is people they've never seen or heard of? Main event might be prime Austin vs. prime Michaels, but if you're sitting through 2 hours of Johnny Nobody vs. Tommy Jobber then it's bound to have at least *some* effect
