  1. So in terms of what is and isn't done, I've completed roughly 45% of the skin. I have unfortunately not had as much time to spend on this due to having to dedicate myself to other projects. I do hope to have this finished within two weeks, though. It is possible that I could release a some sort of unfinished version, but it isn't quite there yet even for that. We'll see. Thanks for the continued interest, though.
  2. Progress has been slow this past week as I've had to focus on other non-TEW projects, but it'll pick up again after this weekend.
  3. On the roster screen we have a 'Contracts' button that shows an excel spreadsheet type screen for contracts details, with sortable columns. I propose that we have the same thing, but for skill attributes and overness. Again with sortable columns. This would make searching for your best workers with particular skills much, much easier and quicker.

  5. Some more progress done in the past 24 hours. Thought I'd show off a few more screens... Loading screen Hall of Immortals *** CREDIT: Idolized for the frame *** Booking screen Again, feedback, criticism and opinions are always welcome!
  6. Yeah I'm not entirely sold on those buttons myself. I'll toy around with them and see what I can come up with.
  7. This is a WIP skin that I'm about 40% finished so far. Named 'Chevron' for the stylised background images used throughout. It's been a while since I've been on the forums for an extended amount of time, and enjoying TEW2020 currently so I wanted to create my own skin. The skin's already available are so good and of such high quality that I genuinely felt challenged when coming up with ideas. I'm posting this now as a WIP thread to help gauge interest and get some early feedback on the design elements used. Promotions screen, with sidebar and lowerbars visible Company tour screen Company roster screen Gimmick change screen Some design choices I made to use throughout was removing as many borders as possible. For that reason only 'headers' tend to have borders. I also wanted to add screen titles to each screen, in the window bar. I've also avoided using block colours whenever possible and allowing text to sit over the background image, hopefully stopping any possible 'clunky' layouts. I'd love to hear people's thoughts, opinions and improvements on this on-going project.

  9. If mod makers were allowed to set customisable categories for matches and angles, it would allow for a dropdown list in the booking screens for quick filtering. For example, allowing to set '1v1', '2v2', '3v3', 'Handicap', 'Battle Royal' as categories in matches would give you a dropdown of those. Setting 'Attack', 'Promo', 'Romance', for angles would allow you to quick filter those. Obviously each one would have an 'All Angles' or 'All Matches' option on the booking screen dropdown too.

  11. Being able to click 'Random Name' is nice, and has an obvious place, but it would also be beneficial to be able to see a full list of names from the database, even if it was just a dropdown selection box. Often times clicking 'Random Name' will cycle the same 5-6 names through, which can be frustrating.

  13. I'd like to see a 'Quality of Life' change in regards to the way negotiations work, in that when you receive an email that a counter offer has been made, you have a quick link straight to the 'negotiations' page of that worker. This would cut down the amount of clicks to get to that screen, which the email is about. How it could look:
  14. It would be nice if in the rotation of the skills section, which shows skills and attributes, you could cycle through each individual skill 'category'. So that way it showed 'All Skills' by default but you could switch it to, say, Performance and it just showed those skills. I've mocked up an example: This would make it easier when you're looking for someone like a referee, or you want someone with high mental skills, etc.
  15. Of course. Just to be clear, I didn't come here because I thought it was taking a long time, only because I sent the e-mail twice and both times it gave me the 'Undelivered' notification - so I actually thought you didn't get my e-mail's at all. The timeframe in which you reset my ID was only a couple of hours - I actually expected it to not be done until Monday due to it being a weekend, so I was pleasantly surprised. Thank you for that.
  16. Thanks Adam, but Scott has already reset my product ID. So, the emails must have gone through, despite myself receiving the 'Undelivered' notification. It said that Google Mail had flagged it as spam and not delivered it. I can forward on a copy of that notification if needed, but it might be worth adding a bit to the FAQ that if you get this message, the email has actually still been delivered? I don't know. Anyway, thanks for the help.
  17. I unfortunately need my eLicense unlocked, however I have sent two emails to scott@greydogsoftware.com and both have been returned as 'Undeliverable'. I am sending them from an hotmail account, so I would assume there was no block on the domain or anything... Anyway, what can I do, because currently I am unable to play several GDS games (due to a hard drive crash I was unable to unlicense anything). Thanks, Arber.
  18. Just about to start getting back into TEW after a very long hiatus from the game. Can't wait to take this skin for a spin
  19. If this is to become a full community project I think it would be wise to maybe agree upon some community standards before it gets too big to manage. For example multiple images, some people use '_alt#', some ' #', some '_#'. I think it would be nice to keep this consistent, so we can essentially have one picture pack that is eventually shared amongst the mod's whose mod makers want to use it. I think it would also be nice if everyone agreed to submit to one image repository. So if someone made for example an 1982 mod, they would use the existing repository of images and add any additional images they needed to the full repository - then link to the full repository in their release thread. This would stop there from being various images with the same filename using the same art style - as has happened a lot in the past. This would make it easier for mod makers and players alike to keep a clean picture folder and avoid having to use different picture folders for different mods that use the same style but have different images with duplicate filenames. This would all probably mean having a 'project manager' who would make sure that file names are unique and follow a standard and that the repository is kept up to date. I would be happy to volunteer for this role if no one else has the time or desire to do so. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this? Good idea or bad idea? Additions?
  20. We could even use these layouts within event and TV logos, no?
  21. First post is updated with latest version. 1.1.2 > Yes/No pop-ups now can use ALT+Y/N key or just Y/N > General right-click improvements for quick menu's > Right-click now works on the main workers screen, but only when using the old style list boxes (not compatible with the new coloured lists) > Pressing TAB on the skills screen will now cycle the skills in order, meaning the skill progression section changes accordingly > Page Up/Down on the road agent notes screen will now cycle the categories Thanks to Adam for changing the Yes/No pop-up title for me to give it the correct commands.
  22. I think there is a nice middle ground that could be met. As the parent company we could instruct the owner in terms of signing talent to either sign anyone, only in ring talent or only non-wrestling talent, or obviously, nobody. We could then have a hiring veto. You could get an e-mail that said something along the lines of 'OVW have offered a contract to Disco Inferno' with a veto option. If we veto it, the offer is then pulled and OVW will look to someone else to hire. Currently, we have to appoint an owner and a booker - but the owner role seems to be redundant if we are doing all the hiring/firing/leg work. I know it's probably a condition of the company in the database that a unique owner is required, but there has to be something that stops that role from seeming redundant?
  23. If child companies don't hire anyone themselves, etc then what is the purpose of the owner role? Shouldn't I be the owner if I'm doing all the work? Why am I paying extra money for an owner? Am I missing something?
