I'm compiling a collection of your pics to use as regens in my real world games. Putting them all into the nGo format to use with RWC games etc... Thanks to all who provide these renders for adding future years to my real world games.

Probably FM 21 or FHM7. I really can't decide which I like playing better as they are both great games that I have fun with.

So everything people have mentioned should now be fixed. What a f'n rabbit hole I went down with this one! I think from now on I will build mods from the ground up because it is not much more work. I was watching some old WAR and W*ING matches earlier and it prompted the inclusion of WAR into the mod for version 1... and I have also cheekily added Wrestle Yume Factory just because I don't see them in many historical mods and thought why not seeing as most of their roster were already in the data. I have a few more things I want to do before I release it so we will say Sunday late morning/early afternoon (UK time) for a release.

Nope it didn't come across like that to me. I know how you feel though. I don't remember the last proper sleep I got and have had to drop my hours at work just to get through the day. I believe I have now caught up with myself on the thread. There are going to be a lot more attributes assigned (although still this will be a wip). I really wanted to get employment histories done for WWF, WCW, ECW, AAA, CMLL, NJPW and AJPW for version 1 but that is going to definitely have to wait for a future update as there's no way I'll finish it by the weekend. It does look like Sunday will be release day now.

Yes it's part of the mod that got missed when moving people with 0 experience in 1992 who should have some experience in 1998. I have certainly learned a lesson from this... do not use a mod that starts earlier to build another mod that is 6 years in the future! It actually produces an abomination of a data set that ends up almost getting deleted.

I gave them a Development deal but they cancel it straight away. The Sister company idea sounds like a good one that may work. I'll give that a try. I want to avoid WWF owning ECW outright but I may have to for it to simulate the way I want it to.

Thanks for all these, I shall get them added. Yeah, it seems a lot of less established wrestlers slipped through the net.... like an entire generation! I've nearly rectified this (I've about 70 left of the initial 411 to do). I gave both WWE and WCW a boost. Both are now considered Big - (mid to high 80's in US). I attempted to put them in the 90's but that just threw everything off and to be honest, I did not fancy going through hundreds (maybe more) workers to recalibrate the balance for a fourth time! Both being big I think is good enough for TV ratings, there is room for growth, and wrestlers can still grow with the company without the dreaded "We don't have enough stars" warning. I did give a few of the WWF guys a small pop boost as I seem to have underestimated them (Shamrock, Owen Hart, LOD etc...) I need to find a way to stop ECW from cancelling their relationship with WWF on day 1 too. Complete so far...

I've asked Johnal881 if they are continuing with this and if not whether they would mind me taking it over once I've finished my 1998 mod.

Question What User Characters would people like in the game? I've added Tyson as a user character but beyond that, I've no idea who to add really. I was going to use a similar style that the C-Verse has with "Avatars" I created in DAZ3d but really unsure. I just use this: (the white square inside the border is 142x142)

With popularity, what would you suggest I give them in each country/continent? I thought I'd given them pretty good popularity but willing to listen to any suggested changes. Same if anyone thinks any of the companies need boosting.

I've got about 130 workers left to edit that I've found things wrong with. I will then go through the thread again and pick up anything I missed. It might not be out on 16th but will be that weekend. There was a lot more wrong than anticipated.

I wouldn't say any are deemed most popular as they all have their fans. I'm bias towards RWC for obvious reasons but thats not to say the others aren't fun. I spent weeks playing TheWho87 mod a few months back and had great fun playing a game as a local company due to the insane amount of workers in the talent pool available. Not what you wanted to hear but sometimes you got to just give them all a try because there is no definitive answer.

I need to go through and take them out as being able to work in roles they didn't at the time work as. With regards to Al Snow, Droz, Brakus, Lafon & Furnas, I think I've found a work around to stop them appearing on WWE TV whilst still being under contract. I have given them developmental deals with ECW to stop them appearing for both companies at the same time. They can all be recalled by WWF (tested and works) and no errors appear. They may end up in ECW longer/shorter than they were but it is the best work around for the situation. (ECW don't need to be the child company, they only have to have "accepts developmental" from WWF ticked). It's the best way I can think to do this currently.

I think I've spotted what could be causing it. I'm going to try a 6 month sim and see if it fixes it, if not I will set them all as annual events that go dormant by December 98/January 99. ========================================== After running the above test I am going to go through the active workers that have 0 popularity and update them as pretty much everything mentioned in the thread so far (and on Twitter DM's) has been fixed. I will update mentioned stats but not "lots of people need stat updates" comments because that doesn't really help me pinpoint where to focus my attention.

Everything mentioned here will be worked on today (not planned but the weather is rubbish). One thing I would like to mention below - "WWF has PPVs outside of the big 4 and KOTR set as inactive" This is because in 1998 they were still running In Your House Specials (Unforgiven: In Your House) therefore the Unforgiven PPV is dormant and revives in 1999, replacing the IYH event. These are all set as Dormant on purpose as they did not debut until 1999. I figured it would add some immersion. Are the AI not running the specials, is that the issue? If they are not I will change them to annual events that go dormant after they air. Just saw this. I am not sure. Is this the 92 mod or 98? If 98 I'll look into it soon, if it is the 92 mod, temporarily disable one for the time being. It might be that there is a work around I can figure out.

EDIT: Never mind... just realised you meant the 92 mod. I'll fix that up as I didn't check that as hadn't planned on adding the NWA Florida belts (last minute whim). Try this version; 1992 hotfix download

I can't give a definitive date as it depends on the work needed to fix it up but I am hoping before Back 4 Blood comes out as that will be taking my focus away from, well, everything.

Thanks for all the feedback. One thing I've noticed doing a build from another year are the number of things I thought I'd done but haven't. I know once all this is fixed though 1.0 is going to be worth playing. Keep it all coming!

I can see Rock probably could do with a slight bump in brawling, psych and experience (although he is only 3 years into his career). Rock was never an elite in ring worker at his peak let alone early on, he had a presence and charisma that set him apart (his sharpshooter is one of the worst variations I've ever seen - technically sound he was not). Chris Jericho and Triple H would appear to be an oversight from updating the 1992 data. They should have better stats in 98, I agree. I may need to go through the main rosters again. I thought I'd caught everyone and updated them to the time... clearly some have slipped through the net.
