New Release(s) Chronicles 1992 v 1.5 and Chronicles 1998 beta released!

You lucky people... Tomorrow you will get the beta for 1998. I've tested it and playing as WWF, WCW and ECW is giving the results I think they should for that period (albeit a little bit easier to hit match ratings in the 80's than my previous mods). This data set is by no means finished and hopefully with feedback from you all, I can fix, improve and update it over the next few weeks (or months). Oh but that is not all! You will also be getting an update to the 1992 mod tomorrow as well! This update contains all of the additional workers added to the 98 mod (and edited appropriately), a slight venues update, title lineage update and various other tweaks and fixes. It's buy one, get one free! Or... get one free, get another free...

For those who are interested in the 98 mod... I am nearly ready to release a beta. I am currently working on Michinoku Pro before I look to update a couple of defunct title histories and once these things are done, I will unleash it upon the World! Below is what to expect (I just copied the white board in game). ===================================== Reminder: At this point, the original Mascara Sagrada was no longer in AAA and El Alibrije (aka Kraneo) was using the gimmick in AAA until the end of 1998. Couple OVW notes: OVW Television title is set to retired as the belt didn't debut until until 2005. The Women's title is the same as it didn't come into the company until 2006. Although the Light Heavyweight wasn't around until 1999, I've set it as a secondary title that is Active due to it being close enough from its real debut. OVW is TV only with the odd Special event through the years. OVW rarely had any PPV Events - in fact most years it was just OVW TV. Obviously as the player, this doesn't effect you as you can set up all the events you like if you book them. WAW note - They were open in 1994, however no rosters before 2000 are available online anywhere for them. I have set them as open with Ricky Knight, Saraya Knight, Zebra Kid and Jimmy Ocean as the only roster members. (whether you like the Knights or not, they are a big part of British wrestling and WAW should be in). Bird Man default set back to Virus X-Fly default set to Mosco De La Merced Winners default name set to Abismo Negro All wrestlers who died between Jan 1992 and Dec 1997 should be set as such. Same for any retirees (although there are bound to be oversights on a 5000+ database). 22 companies complete so far. Looking to have the game start on 30 open with various future companies opening up over time. Just finished adding Jersey All Pro Wrestling (roster, titles and events). Looking to have Michinoku Pro, JWP and OVW done within the next week but I'm now back doing my "shoot" job full time so only really get to do updating in small bursts.

Just had a quick check and Cherry is using Cherry.jpg in my pack so I'd guess you're using a different/older version of the picture pack if Cherry.jpg is a picture of Kara Slice because it shouldn't be. In other news, I'm about to start the horrendous IWA:MS title lineages. Seriously, how many title changes does a company need in a 12 month period! Problem was I found I'd missed a worker out so need to add them to the data before I start.

If you want to play as these companies, set them as open and add the guys to the roster. Takes 10 minutes because everything else is done for you. IIRC some companies are set as closed due to varying reasons but rather than being deleted so you would have to add company and title lineages etc... setting them to closed means people can easily add them back into their games with minimal fuss themselves.

That's not a thread I look at. It does seem weird other mods are split into fantasy, real world etc but to be honest, I don't care enough as I tend to get the bulk of my downloads from Twitter followers anyway. Hope you enjoy the 1992 mod. I don't debate stats unless something is extremely wrong but would love any errors you find as I like my mods to be as good as they possibly can be, but also with an element of "anything could happen" for the future.

Have you tried looking for Angel Rose? Pretty sure she was originally under a different default name.

Just a small thing, Aubrey Edwards DOB should be March 1987. She is also married to someone outside the business.

Still a few of us about. I have a couple of mods out. I'm currently working on a 1998 mod but it has proven to be a little trickier than the 1992 mod I released. I now only work on things I want to play myself - which is why I quit doing the RWC mod and handed it off to Questlove. All the while I'm having fun creating, I'll continue to do so. Once I get people throwing tantrums because I gave someone 65 in psych instead of 66 is when I'll likely stop.

I've spent over 2 hours and been to about 30+ websites and have a roster of 7 wrestlers. </p><p> </p><p> I've no idea if the Incubus who was (at that time) one half of the tag champions is Mighty Wilbur or some other Incubus, either way, I've opted that spending 2+ hours on a niche promotion is too long (I spent that long putting together CMLL who have a much bigger roster).</p><p> </p><p> I'm now moving onto another promotion... not sure who yet.</p><p> </p><p> I've set myself a rule. I've given them less money (Arai was "allegedly" in over his head financially with his "loan"). Fuyuki deciding to head more Sports Entertainment and scrapping the deathmatch scene later in 1998 obviously didn't help matters but in the mod you can at least stop that from happening as they are still predominantly a Deathmatch company at the start of the mod. The hardest part is making the 75000 starting money work for you. Part of me was going to put them in debt off the bat but I figured that would just end in an almost instant closure rather than a small chance of making it past the 3 or so years that they did from 98.</p><p> </p><p> Next up I'm going to try my hand at another Japanese promotion, this time GAEA - who I am not too familiar with at that point in time - which means research and watching old matches online will be my Friday morning.</p>

Still no release date yet. I've finished rosters and title updates for 15 companies so far. Unfortunately its the companies who have workers not already in the data yet to do so takes a little longer to put together. Glad you're enjoying the 92 mod.

I was going to be doing a mod using these but I've since given up as I can't seem to stick to a worker style I like and as such, here are all the workers I have made (on C-Verse blue) for people to use as they see fit.

For reference, this is the official weight classes in TEW. The only thing I change in my data - Lightweights are 180 - 225 and middleweight is 226-260 as most Light/Junior/cruiser belts never go above 225lbs. Very Small (below 140lbs) Small (140 - 180lbs) Lightweight (180 - 230lbs) Middleweight (230 - 260lbs) Light Heavyweight (260 - 290lbs) Heavyweight (290 - 320lbs) Big Heavyweight (320- 380lbs) Super Heavyweight (above 380lbs) Giant (special cases) EDIT: Just seen Jaysin beat me to it! In other news, I am putting the 1998 mod on the backburner for a couple of weeks to try and get fixes done for the 1992 mod. If you notice anything wrong, I will get it fixed but once I start back on the 1998 mod, I won't be updating the 92 mod for a long while. I just can't keep bouncing between the 2 as I'm getting confused on what I've done on each.

Mistico II has left CMLL. Looks like he will be going by the name Dralistico outside of CMLL. According to Luchablog on Twitter, Fugaz is likely to become the next Mistico.
