  1. Correct. He is from Dublin, Rep. Of Ireland (Eire) which is not part of Britain. Magnus is brilliant. Give him a few years and I think he'll do well for himself. Lets not forget he's only 23. So we're up to 2 former UK Gladiators making waves in the US. Isn't the guy who was Goliath now the FCW Champion?
  2. Over use of the roll eye smiley I think 1 out of your last 6 posts didn't contain it. (Irony) Who knows or truly cares if Cena is "shooting" or "working". It's the most pathetic thing to get you panties in a bunch about, I mean come on. A grown man "Twitters" something and the debate is if he is telling the truth, or playing the character. I don't know him and neither do all you people saying to others "Oh so you know him then" or other equally hypocritical comments. Anyway, I'm personally not sure about the whole Danielson thing. It could be a work to get the angry "Indy" guy over more on his return. I think the reasons being reported for his release are weak, but again he doesn't make the WWE as much money as Orton (for example) so there's the possibility he could be released for real. I would love for it to be a work. He could come back cut a promo on how "if he wasn't that good, why'd they hire him back? etc... and get some heat with the crowd". He was just coming into his own as a really good heel so I would hope he'll return somewhere down the line and use his release in some storyline or other.
  3. The problem is that WWE is a monster in terms of wrestling, there isn't anyone who is going to catch them up. Fans tire easily. Yes it was probably good having your Halls, Nashs and Hogans for nostalgia, and as "name value" but I'll tell you one thing, alot of the guys I know who gave TNA a chance saw Hogan and burst out laughing at how he's still trying to clutch at the limelight. They've not watched since. It has worn off quickly. Their "experiment" has failed. I grew up watching these guys when I was 8-16 I'm now 28 and really seeing these guys not even at 50% of what I rememeber them being like is crap. I loved hall when he was Razor Ramon, I even liked him at the beginning of the nWo angle, but now (although he's got himself into a little better shape) he's still only half the worker he used to be. There is room for your RVD's, your Jeff Hardys and your Ken Andersons. These guys deserve the spotlight now, along with AJ, Samoa Joe and Desmond Wolfe, but they need to lessen Hogans on scren time. Small doses and i guess I could watch it again, but for now, i'm just so tired of the crap fed to me by both TNA & WWE (hell I won't even comment on WWE anymore as I don't have a clue whats going on - other than Vince is supposedly tired with wrestling now and "has made his money"). I'm definately not a Mark, I'm definately not a Smark. I'm a fan with a bit of knowledge on the ins and outs but I really don't want to turn on a show named Total Nonstop Action and get Total Nonstop Hogan/Flair/Outsiders. The only way TNA have ANY chance of competing with WWE is if the stars of TODAY, not the 80's, not the 90's, jumped ship, and lets face it, can you see Cena, Orton or Batista joing TNA? No, so TNA should leave any "war" alone and just concentrate on giving the fans something different.
  4. In that case I take back the last bit. I didn't realise they were making more from TV.
  5. I still firmly believe TNA should NEVER have moved to Mondays. The only thing moving to mondays has done is, well nothing! They haven't gained more fans (in fact I'd say judging from this weeks Impact, they were losing them) and I know that most of the people I know who loved TNA before, don't bother watching anymore because as they say "TNA isn't an alternative to WWE anymore." The Monday night wars are over, never to be repeated so why even try? Lets have something different, where 2 promotions concentrate on their own product and forget the other exists. This whole "re-igniting the Monday Night Wars" is only going to spell the end for TNA in the long run, which is something I really don't want to see. Putting the belt on RVD on FREE Tv is a stupid mistake that WCW were doing under Vince Russo - why give away a title win like that for free when people would have bought a PPV to see RVD v Styles for the title, it makes no sense! Who the hell is going to buy the PPV for the re-match (if there even is one)? No one because they've seen the belt change to the "face" for free so why bother paying to see him defend it? It's like TNA is being run from a WCW "How Not To Book" book!
  6. Gallows is what 25? He has plenty of time to improve, and I think he will. I agree though that Evolution was alot more like The Horsemen. SES are not really like any faction from the past - well The Ministry I suppose as far as using weaker minded wrestlers to do one persons bidding but even then not a great deal like them.
  7. Oh boy did I speak too soon when I said I was beginning to like TNA and that they looked to have started showing signs of "direction" and "sense". I hold my hands up and admit I WAS WRONG. Back to the non-sensical booking that anyone with a pen and half a brain could do better than at this point. "you try booking a show" is a weak ass comeback when you're Eric Bischoff... because, I'll churn out something 20 times better than the garbage they did this week! Hell it may still bomb, but it'd be worth watching!
  8. Your opinion. Dunno why you needed the smiley... maybe you thought it gave your reply credibility.
  9. I was impressed with Destination X and last weeks Impact (not seen this weeks as it's not on until Saturday in UK). I am starting to see a little more forward thinking and a little less "just because" in the booking. It's nowhere near at a standard to compete, but improvements have been made and I actually managed to watch an entire Impact without switching off by the main event! That hasn't happened since Hogan and Bischoff "took over". I want to see TNA succeed as an alternative to the WWE, and in order for that to happen, they need to drop the "Monday Night Wars" crap and just go their own route. They need to work on their own direction and leave anything WWE is doing alone, they need to be different, they need to have more action and Destination X showed alot more action (I was more entertained with Destination X than Wrestlemania this year). Bischoff and Hogan's dislike for WWE and need to "beat" them could end up being TNA's undoing.
  10. I'm going to say... average, and considering this should be the biggest Show of the year, it should be a hell of alot more than average. I've seen lesser PPV's that were better than this. Saving grace: Edge vs. Jericho. However by this point i was really losing the will to live! Not going to say anything more other than... HBK vs Undertaker 1 (last year)- Legendary HBK vs Undertaker 2 (this year)- Diabolical in comparison and a real let down. My opinions.
  11. If WCW was losing $100 million, Turner could have thrown it away for years as he was making money on other ventures too and Interest on his money in the bank that would more than covered the "loss". Lets remember it was the WCW that was losing money, not the Turner Empire. That said, they would only have lasted another 5 years because after the stock collapse, Turner lost over $7 billion so I doubt even he would have thought it viable to finance WCW after that if they were still bleeding money. Had all of that not happened, the merger etc... then WCW would still exist today, albeit not in any state to compete with WWE... back on topic though now. Personally I don't see TNA making "profit" for much longer if viewers keep switching off. Yeah they are getting the crowds at the moment, but I've always been of the opinion, catering for the "casual fan base" as a whole is tricky and dangerous because your hardcore fans are there through thick and through thin, your fairweather fans are there when the product is hot.. if it's not, then they've switched back to Raw. So alientating the fans who in a way helped make TNA as popular as it was is a stupid move. TNA needs to find that middle ground and keep Hogan OUT of the ring (in terms of wrestling). It is called Total Non Stop Action, yet has less in ring action than Raw. I'm not a lover of Raw, and very rarely do I watch it, but in the same breath TNA moving to Mondays at the moment is nothing more than a Death March. They are gonig into battle without the required weapons and are going to get slaughtered. People who are bored with Raw may tune in to see this action packed show and see Hogan and Flair bumbling around the ring, Bischoff messing with Jeff Jarrett and Mick Foley... click. Back to Raw. Hogan and Flair do have a place in TNA, I mean they're living legends, but Flair managing Styles I can just about stomach, and Hogan as the on screen authority. Bischoff as an on screen authority too is just muddying the waters, then Dixie Carter getting in on it too... stop now please. Hell, they say booking a show isn't easy, I can understand that, but if you've been doing it as long as Bischoff has it should be second nature by now and the crap being churned out is something I'd expect from an upcoming promoter whose never done the job before! Damn I kinda went off on a tangent there... my apologies!
  12. I don't know if this has been mentioned (due to how obvious it is I'm guessing it may have been discussed) but anyway, what kind of thought process thinks it's a good bit of business to have your Champion LOSE to a guy not even in the title picture on the last show before a PPV? How does that make any sense, build any kind of heat or interest in AJ Styles? I'm just confused and baffled with the serious lack of direction or focus the company has. It's kind of disappointing seeing the alternative, edgy, high impact wrestling that was TNA slowly turn into the "clone" of WCW. Bad planning, non sensical booking and less focus than a blind man in a blizzard. I cannot see TNA getting anywhere near WWE, in fact the way they are going I can't see them still being in business in a year or 2. Shame Really.
  13. Maybe so, but if I wanna see good looking people with a voice, I'll watch a movie. If I want to be entertained by a wrestling show, I'll look for in ring skill over looks. I mean isn't that why people like wrestling? Or am I missing something?
  14. Yeah because we all want our wrestlers to be good looking and have the voice of an angel. In fact I hear that's a pre-requisite in many wrestling schools these days. Before you even enter the ring you gotta be able to walk past a mirror without it cracking and talk like Denzel Washington.
  15. I don't think the guy was hating on Abyss, just the stupid HOF ring storyline. Yeah Hogan we get it, you're in the Hall of Fame. Time how long Hogan get's on Camera in a single episode of Impact, then compare it to actual decent in ring performers and other peoples exposure on screen. I don't know what "dichotomy" has to do with anything. Just because people want something different, doesn't mean they HAVE to like what TNA is throwing out. Yes it's a little different and doing some different things, but they're crap at the minute as well! The minute Dixie Carter told Sting he'd have a match with a mystery opponent, only a blind, deaf kid chewing a crayon didn't know who that was going to be! For the record, until Hogan showed up I thought the Sting/RVD bit was going to save the show, but Hogan just has to be in on everything on screen and it's a piss poor attempt to get people thinking it's him that is drawing. I've said it time and time again, Hogan has done alot for Sports Entertainment, but how many more times are people going to cheer for "point, punch, clothesline, leg drop" seriously. I'm glad you enjoyed the show, but a hell of alot of us didn't and that doesn't make you right and us wrong, or us right and you wrong, it's about preference and seeing a form of entertainment I've loved since the late 80's end up in the ****ter. I'm not saying, "hey man Impact was ****, you are stupid for liking it" merely saying that people don't have to like it because it's different. Marmalade is different to Marmite, but I still don't like either!
  16. It's booking for the Alzheimers generation! Wow, awesome, what happened last week? Ah yeah... no wait that didn't, who am I now? No one panick! We can...wait, hold on Nasty Boys! Saviours.... oooooh.... wait? Bischoff make Jeff flip burgers.... never has a storyline been more intense! "Best burgers last week"... well stick to it Jarrett because me and Hogan wanna screw this promotion up.... wait.... scrap that! I'm gonna put my efforts into a midget promotion... screw TNA... Hogan, we need you to be booked on say 1 hour 15 of our 2 hour show.... that should block the holes.... no! Abyss is on the booking team! Better team him with you Terry as... well it makes no sense.... just give him your Hall of Fame ring. Yeah cos that's where the powers been all these years brother.... anybody seen Kendrick? Ric... can you get really pissed about it... what the hell?!?! Where'd this Chelsea bird come from? Jason Statham... sorry Desmond Wolfe, lets chuck you into the mix as well. I know it makes no sense, but hell most of these idiots will watch any crap we put in front of them.... Anyone seen Kendrick? What do you mean there's a tag team called Motor City Machine Guns? Never heard of them. You guys here for tryouts? Seriously, any sign of Kendrick? No? Ok Shannon Moore, get in there for no reason other than you're around the same weight... hey Doug, you don't mind if Shannon... hold on where the hell has Pope gone? Damn people just keep disappearing around this place! Angle, think you could trust Hogan? Hey no... now that we think of it, I know you were working some sort of program with Hogan and the Band, but we figured Anderson would be better... the fans won't notice! They're a bunch of inbred morons... Hogans going to team with Abyss for no reason other than, well Chris needs him. What about AJ? He's got Flair making him look like a piece of crap? Yeah we know but we're already throwing Desmond into the mix... just do some armed forces angle... yeah, ummmm... where the hell is Homicide? My god it's like a black hole around here! Wrestlers keep getting sucked into oblivion.... talking of Oblivion, Brutus Magnus, you can get some fingers crunched by Big Rob Terry... Rob you can destroy Andersons momentum by pinning him... hell no we're not pushing you... Angles gonna mess him up with a chair first... you keep the belt, but that's it. Right what next? Jeff Hardy wants to run in again for no reason? Does the guy only work Mondays? Ok... run in for the monday main event for no reason... disappear.. Sting! you can return, but because Terry is a face, you're gonna have to be heel, we're also putting RVD over you in say 30 seconds? No you won't look weak cos you get to destroy him after the match... with a bat... but I don't think a Sting/RVD segement will get over so we'll put Hogan in it too... he wants revenge and the spotlight. You know what... we'll put this all out and if it don't stick, hell we'll just change everything next week. The fans will eat it up, we're not gonna beat WWE anyway o to hell with it, lets just throw **** at the wall and see what sticks... what do you mean that was what happened towards the end of WCW............ Booking meeting Closed. Hey last word... we can change the initials! TNH: Total Nonstop Hogan!
  17. Now i have been a big fan of TNA since day 1 and have wanted to see them succeed (I still do) but if last nights Impact is the best they can do, forget it. I am so sick of every 5 minutes Hulk Hogan appearing on screen. It isn't needed and I don't care what anyone else says. AJ Styles looks like a bag of crap champion. He doesn't NEED Flair. Oh Flair and Hogan are legends, there's no mistake, thing about legEND. Who didn't see the Hogan/Abyss v Flair/AJ match ending up as the main event? Yeah they opened the show... spent an hour during the rest of the show involved somehow and then bam! Main Event match as well. Seriously. Hogan is full of crap if he expects anyone to think he has TNA's best interests at heart. Hogan cares about Hogan, period. I know the argument is always gonna be "TNA needs Hogan/Flair/Nash/Angle etc.... to succeed". Well sorry but after 7+ years if you've not been able to get any of your other stars over by that time, give up. AJ has beaten Angle, Sting etc, he's a great talent and was building his character and reputation, now he's "A Nature Boy"? Please. Like AJ needs Flair to get over. Bottom line is this... if TNA had the exposure of WWE (which on Spike it never will) then they have the better talent pool and would stand a chance when it comes time to go head to head with WWE, but they don't and not 90 minutes of Hogan bumbling about like a geriatric without his walking stick or the eccentric grandaddy Flair is going to mask that fact. Blading is becoming retarded, I don't need to see a near 60 year old man bleed to make me think "wow... I gotta watch next week to see what happens" it makes me think "well that sucked. Screw watching it next week". To ANYONE who thinks TNA are going to catch WWE, you're dreaming... and that's coming from someone who can't stand the WWE product. well quite frankly I can't stand either company at the minute which is a shame because i was really entertained when I tuned into Impact. I'm no "smark" so don't even pull that card on me because I'll just chuck it back at you with an "idiot card" as a bonus, I'm not a mark either. I'm a fan of wrestling who has had enough of being fed nothing but **** for the past 2 or 3 months. Wouldn't surprise me if Hogan and Flair were on the WWE payroll to ensure TNA doesn't succeed (ok so thats doubtful but you get the feeling when Hogan tells you the TNA product now is better than it was before he turned up. That's BS.) The above is my opinion. I don't expect you to agree, everyone is entitled to their opinion.
  18. Thanks man. These are great, I really appreciate the effort and time you've put into them.
  19. I had hoped I'd be proven wrong about Hogan coming in and TNA getting an influx of his cronies to "help get the promotion noticed". More like get his has been/never where friends a cushy little pay day! Who the hell wants to see the Nasty Boys? They were a pile of feces in the early 90's - I doubt they've learned anything new since then. Brian Knobbs is about 200lbs overweight and Jerry Saggs - well he's Jerry Saggs! They are going to blow the tag division into new heights!!! I think not. The once proud tag team division just got downgraded. Who the hell is Bubba the Love Sponge? He sounds like a gay pornstar! Hogans name mentioned every two minutes... way to take away from the talent doing a better job than he ever did in ring. Don't get me wrong, Hogan has done alot for the business, but his best was like 15/20 years ago. The guy was a big deal when I first started watching wrestling in 1990 at the tender age of 8... I'm now nearly 28! My friends kids watch it and you mention Hogan to them, and they'd rather see John Cena! If the shows are going to revolve around him and his merry band of men then sadly I see TNA tanking big time, which is a shame because they really do have some good talent and up until they decided to "compete" (what a laugh) they were putting on some entertaining shows. I'm not even going to comment on the steel asylum match - it was like Hogan came in and thought "I'm not having these guys upstage my debut - tonight is about ME and my buddies - rubbish finish please to p*** off and alienate the fans we have." All in all, this week and next week are 2 of the crappest shows in TNA history.
  20. Please could I have: WWW World Heavyweight WWW Primetime WWW Tag Team If you want to incorporate the logo, http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v260/Frontiergfx/WWW-1.jpg there it is, if not then I have faith in you to create something great as always!
  21. Is there any chance you could do another 2 for me? They are the RWA European Title and the RWA Womens title. Everything is up to you designwise as before. Many Thanks
  22. Thanks for the RWA belts ReapeR, much appreciation to ya!
  23. I'd like 2 RWA belts if at all possible. RWA World Heavyweight and RWA Tag Team. I would be extremely grateful if you are able to do those. I have 3 other requests but will wait until later down the line so as other people get their belts too.
