  1. If I recall correctly, someone did a bunch of simulations to test it out, putting a bunch of 18 year olds under different conditions and recording how far along they got in 20 years. Potential appears to generate a vague range of where a worker's best skill will land. Very Low seemed to land somewhere between 50-75, and each bound seems to increase by about 5 each step, maxing out at 80-100 for Excellent. That said, there were still outliers, with some Very Low potential categories ending up in the 80s. As emphasized, it was also their best skill, so Excellent would still have some in the 60s-70s, but the highest was at least 80. It also did not appear to affect the rate at which skills were increased. There should be a thread about it somewhere, so you might be able to find it with the search feature.
  2. NOAH was found to have yakuza ties in like 2012, they lost their TV deal and as far as I know they still haven't gotten another one, partially because of the streaming deal with Wrestle Universe
  3. How does this end up playing out if you have more than one title set to be defended on a single event? So if I decide to have like, the finals of King of the Ring happen at the Royal Rumble, will it put the more prestigious one on last or will it just pick one of em at random?
  4. Yes, I don't know exactly what causes it or how long it takes, but I've definitely seen it happen as well. Usually pushing young talent too much too quickly will make them become toxic, from what I can tell
  5. Earlier today / yesterday depending on where you are, former World Wonder Ring STARDOM competitor Kagetsu came out as trans. The majority of my time in the game has been spent playing saves as STARDOM or other joshi companies in various mods, and I've certainly given my fair share of monster pushes to Kagetsu, I'm a big fan of his work and would like to respect him. As it stands, however, FTM trans people are a uniquely interesting situation for the game to handle. Where most of the publically visible trans people in wrestling, namely Nyla Rose and Asuka/Veny, are MTF, being assigned male at birth and transitioning to female at a later stage, the game handles identifying them as women perfectly fine. You make them women in the database, the AI ran companies see them as women, they sign them. Perfect! However, within the current system, Kagetsu is in a peculiar spot. He worked primarily for STARDOM, which is an all-women's promotion, so setting him as a male would mean he wouldn't be hired by STARDOM if the women's wrestling setting was set to "Entire Company" as it should be. Setting it to "Integrated" would allow him to be hired on, but that also opens the door for them to bring in other men, which isn't optimal either. As it stands, currently you can only edit the gender of workers in the database before a save is started, once the save has started the option is no longer able to be changed. Without knowing the full details of coding and how the game is built, that seems like it would be the easiest change to fix the problem, simply allowing players change a worker's gender mid-save.

  7. From my understanding, AEW is offering it for wrestlers who're also filling backstage roles so it's easier to justify them as employees. Christopher Daniels, for example, works in talent relations and doesn't really take indie bookings anymore, so apparently he's covered.
  8. World Wonder Ring STARDOM May 2001 - July 2014 World of STARDOM - Hikaru Shida x1 (defeated Kairi Hojo) Wonder of STARDOM - Mayu Iwatani x1 (Defeated Tenille Dashwood, defenses against Dashwood, Yumi Ohka & Awesome Kong) SWA World Champion - Cheerleader Melissa x1 (Inaugural Champion, won 10-way elimination match featuring Rebecca Knox, Tenille Dashwood, Evie, Gail Kim, Kay Lee Ray, Britani Knight, Thunder Rosa, Ivelisse Velez & Ryo Mizunami) Future of STARDOM - Miyu Yamashita x1 (Defeated Davina Rose) STARDOM High Speed - Nyla Rose x2 (Defeated Act Yasukawa, defenses against Shanna, Evie, Victoria Crawford who has become an absolute technical wizard somehow) Goddesses of STARDOM - The New Midnights Athena & Trinity McCray x3 (Defeated Miss April & Celeste Bonin, traded the belts with Allysin Kay & Cherry Bomb) SWA World Tag Team - Canadian NINJAs x3 (Defeated Sarah Stock & Ivelisse, defenses against the IIconics, Fuka & Kyoko Kimura, Maryse & Leva Bates) Artists of STARDOM - Planet KONG (Awesome Kong, Big Swole & Little Swole / Nicole Savoy) x1 (Defeated Queen's Quest Mio Shirai, Madison Eagles & Sara Del Rey, defenses against IIconics & Evie, STARS, Blue Justice)
  9. So I noticed that part of the patch today was removing a loophole with the excursions. I tried to created a new player to sign one of the workers I have on excursion, and got the usual screen saying the contract offer was too long. Just want to confirm then that the fix should prevent the AI from doing the same thing now?
  10. <p>One thing that's important to keep in mind is that the game has no way of knowing what the Elimination Chamber is "supposed" to be. We as viewers of wrestling know what it's meant to be, but the game just knows what we tell it, and what you're telling it here is that a guy who's not really meant to go over 10 minutes should go 50. That penalty makes complete sense.</p><p> </p><p> Have you tried setting him to limited involvement or entering midway/at the end of the match? The Late Addition note might fix your problem.</p>
  11. In October 2012, started as World Wonder Ring STARDOM about a decade early in May 2001 with a modified version of Genadi's mod. World of STARDOM - Arisa Nakajima (Three time champion and 2nd Ace, will be dropping the belt to Io Shirai in December when Io becomes the 3rd Ace) Wonder of STARDOM - Kana (My 1A belt, Kana was the 1st Ace and will be also be losing the belt in December to Hikaru Shida) Future of STARDOM - Mayu Iwatani (Won last year's Rookie tournament in December and won the Future belt off of Evie / Dakota Kai. If anyone manages to hold the Future belt for 11 defenses, which would be one full calendar year, they get a shot at the World title. Mayu's going to lose the belt at her last defense to Rookie tournament winner Kairi Hojo) Goddesses of STARDOM - The Queens of Wrestling Sara Del Rey and Madison Eagles (The two rolled great chemistry and have essentially carried the tag division since they joined, being 5 time champions. Originally the plan was to have them drop the titles to Athena/Ember Moon and Trinity McCray/Naomi, but Athena suffered a torn hamstring so I had to hotshot the only other real contenders, Jessie McKay and KC Cassidy/Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, but I don't know if I'm going to put the titles on them yet.) Artist of STARDOM - The Knight Dynasty Rebecca Knox/Becky Lynch, Britani Knight/Paige and Nikki Storm/Cross (Rebecca Knox is one of the most over stars in the company, but I don't have plans for her in the title scene quite yet since she spent most of the last two years around the World title, so I'm having her run roughshod over the trios division to bump up Nikki and Britani.) SWA World Tag Team - The Chickbusters Miss April/AJ Lee and Celeste Bonin/Kaitlyn (Formerly the WWWA Tag Team belts from All Japan Women's, I bought them out when they collapsed and recently brought back these titles to give something for more teams to chase since I'm hovering around 20 active teams. The Chickbusters and the Canadian NINJAs have been trading the belts back and forth for most of the year.) STARDOM High Speed - Kaori Yoneyama (The midcard belt, Yoneyama has been with the company since the first show and was one of the best hands we had for putting people over, after her tag partner Sumie Sakai retired last year I've started to give her an actual push. A career record of 36-169 in the company, all 36 wins have come since 2010.)
  12. The two major factors for perception are going to be the popularity of the worker compared to the company, and the amount of momentum that they have. Someone who's a 62 popularity, which is around where your company is as a whole, could be a major star, but if their momentum is suffering then it'll push them down the list. Try and keep your major stars white hot, and give them big wins over people with more popularity than them so that they can gain faster.
  13. To expand on what James said, it's going up by percentage points. So in this case, running 12 shows total and not seeing an increase, you're likely running into the wall that stops you from gaining too much too fast, or you're running in separate regions. So 12 shows spread across the 8 regions of Japan, you're not just looking at, say, 50 in each region, you're at 50.4 in 4 of them and 50.8 in the other 4.
  14. Like redhill pointed out, there's a bit more that goes into it than straight pop. Namely a worker's momentum: I signed a worker from another company who came in as Well Known with roughly 92 pop worldwide, but they hit Star and Major Star the moment I got them any sort of momentum.
  15. It's been replaced with a new system that shows how the fans look at individual wrestlers. Main eventers are your Major Stars and Stars, Well Known and Recognizable is your midcard and your unknowns are your jobbers.
