  1. Thanks. I will do that. Was just wondering, if I'm doing something wrong or if there's a bug or something, but seems like everythings right then.
  2. After playing a few issues I still don't fully get, how storylines work. As far as I understand it, I would get some kind of notice, when a storyline is started, but the starting point of them is completely random. Until now, I haven't seen anything from them in game or I somehow missed it. So my question is, how random is it, that a storyline starts? I know from the editor that they are frequencies and specific requirements, that have to be fullfilled to start the storyline. But that doesn't mean, that it automatically starts, when those requirements are fullfilled, I guess. Otherwise I should have seen some of them pop up in the game, I think. And how is it with continuations in form of Part 1, 2, 3 etc. Is there an option to trigger the next Part directly when the previous part is done? Because, otherwise it could be a bit far ranged when Part 1 is happening in Issue 1 and Part 2 follows not in Issue 2 but Issue 58.
  3. Since I am not the greatest fan ov leveling up thousands of stats as in many modern RPGs, that makes the game kind of even better for me. Everything looks a lot more clear, but seems to provide more depth than in CBH. I like it.
  4. Okay, so there is kind of an autosave when I exit the game via the home-button? That would be the "workaround" I needed. So there is no leveling up characters? Not, that I need it, just to be sure. When I create a game world, the stats are set? I ask that, because in CBH I created characters especially with low stats to make the game more interesting for me, by trying to level them up as far as I could. I guess, I won't need that here, since I will go for storylines in my game world, so again, just to make sure. I thought more of just a list with the title, not a viewable item, that gives me every information. But nothing I really need, was just wondering. Thanks for the answers. I enjoy the game alot so far and can't wait to dive into the editor sometime next week ...
  5. Okay, I just played for about an hour and I will have a lot of fun with this one for sure. Good work, Adam and everyone else, who worked on it. I looked in the editor, but it looks kind of complex for just trying it out. I have to take my time for that. Espescially creating storylines seems like it can take a lot of time, but can create a lot of great stuff in the game world. The game itself looks fun overall. I have to admit, I hoped for some kind of Mini-Games for the puzzles, but maybe in Comic Book Megaverse then ... One thing so far, I would like to see, would be a button during combat and puzzles to let the AI finish it. Kind of a Skip-Command. I think, this would be good, since a huge game world could make a very long round with a lot of fights and puzzles and if for example, the player has to leave the game for some reason, they could skip to the end of the issue to play on from that point, later without having to surrender all the fights and lose automatically. An alternative would be a possibility to get back to the Home-Screen in the running game to save there and take on the next fights and puzzles later. Right now, when you started an issue you can only end the whole game and get back to the title screen. So you have to play through all the puzzles und fights, before you can save the game and that can take a lot of time, even at the beginning, with not so much going on. One thing I don't get until now, but didn't lool much into it, to be honest, is the use of hero points. Aren't they used to level up the stats of the characters? Because I can't find an option for that, but maybe I have to look around some more. Last thing for now: is there an overview for the storylines that are triggered/can be triggered/are ended etc. in game or is it hidden and can only be seen in the editor?
  6. About the Past Issues: will we be able to edit the names of the issues and write a short text for it like in CBH? Always had fun with that feature and tried to come up with my own little stories through it.
  7. I know what you mean, but as you say, there is still stuff we don't know about the game and as it seams at least we can do a lot more with this one than CBH and I already had a lot of fun with that one and am still playing it from time to time.
  8. I'm not entirely sure of course, since I'm not developing the game, but I think, what you want to do might be able through the editor with storylines to a degree. It would be some work, but maybe you can add storylines, that involve new villains entering the world or having them age by giving them a new costume and new stats or something like that when a storyline starts or ends. Sure, it wouldn't be an automatically developing world, but that way, you could simulate one at least.
  9. Thanks, now I get it. One detailquestion though: is there a limit to how long a storyline can progress. Like up to 10 progresses or can we add as many parts of a story as we want to?
  10. Adding Storylines to the game may be the best new thing in this series and sounds like a lot of fun. As usual I don't get everything: how do storylines start exactly? Is it completely random or can there be a event as a trigger. Like, I don't know, have Bane beat Batman in a fight to start the Knightfall-Storyline or something like that.
  11. Would Kryptonite work as an artifact? As far as I know, it doesn't give powers to an individual who possesses it, rather than strip a specific group of people (in this case Kryptonians) of their powers. Would that work that way in the game?
  12. The possibilities in combat sound much more interesting than in CBH, where it was more or less attack after attack until an opponent went down. More health levels sounds good for making weak and strong characters. I like a few weak villains in my world, so I have something, I can beat to level up more easily. What I don`t get is the schemes and quest section. The schemes were in CBH, so that will be the crimes the villains will perform, I guess. But what is a quest for the heroes in that instance? To prevent the scheme from happening by defeating the villain? Or is it just a way, to prevent some heroes from reacting to specific schemes? Like, Supersonicgirl won`t help, when a villain is trying to take over a dimension, because that is not in her job-description? And since Puzzles are mentioned here, but not in much detail: will they be like in CBH or will there be some sort of minigames or anything to get some variety into them. I think, in CBH the puzzles were pretty repetitive, because it was always the same.
  13. Characterbuilding sounds more or less like CBH so far, but this seems to be new: "Rating: This rates the character in terms of their power in combat, ranging from half a star to thirty stars. This is used in relation to team selection and restrictions to balance the game." So power has a special rating in CBU and won't be part of the character abilities? Or does that mean, that the game goes down from the 1000-Point-System to 30 (or 60 if we count half stars) in general? Wouldn't be the baddest decision, but a pretty huge gap between 1000 and 60.
  14. Ah, okay, thank you for the reply. I agree, that team fights are more fun, but I like to mix it up a little bit. Seems to be no problem then. Looking forward to the realease.
  15. This sounds great so far, but one thing I don't understand: will fights and puzzles always be taken on in teams? So there will be no 1 vs 1 fight situations possible or solving a puzzle with only one hero? That would be kind of a letdown in terms of usual Comics, where almost every hero has his own series and the teams are build of those heroes, when they have to fight a bigger thread they can't handle on their own.
  16. Would it be possible to add a "Hide all Attributes" Option to the mass editor?
  17. Is there a way to give and take atrributes on a specific date or during a timeframe? Like, when I build a real world Mod and have Shawn Michaels in it I would like to give him the Egomaniac Attribute in the 90s but take it away in 2002. Can't find anything for it in the narratives so is there another way to do this?
  18. Not really. As far as I checked, you can dormant events but not really more than once. Like for example, Fastlane would start in one year, run 3 years, than would be let out for one year and revive the next year. My idea would be for example, if I start a real world game in lets say 1983 there wouldn't be WrestleMania around. The first one would be two years later. It's kind of complicated to add it over the Event screen. For me at least. With TV Shows there seems to be no option for something like that at all. Monday Night Raw would start only in 1993, 10 years after I would start that game world, before that there would be Wrestling Challenge and Superstars, but they would get dormant over time and later Monday Night Raw would change it's name and it's logo simply to RAW and even later Superstars would get revived and so on. Maybe I'm just not seeing it, but I can't find a way, to get it done that way. And I think, with narratives there would be a lot of options to do stuff like that. About the length I'm with you on that. It's not really important. I just added it, because I like myself as much realism in my fantasy booking as possible. But it's definitely not the top priority on this list. Another thing would be to be able to change the day, shows are held on. As with the AEW PPVs right now switching from Saturday to Sunday. In the past WWE held PPVs on Saturdays occasionally but switched to sunday. SmackDown switched the air days alot in the past.
  19. I think, it would be great, if there were the following narratives for TV Shows and Events. renaminig a show /event start a new show/event end a show/event change length of show/event change day show/event is held on/taped on Would be helpful for modders building a real world mod that runs through the decades so the shows start and end like they did in real time. If it's to difficult to add a whole new feature like Show/Event into the narratives, they could also be added to the company effects. For example: Company starts new TV Show Company holds new Event Company replaces Show and so on ...
  20. Thanks a lot. That will do just fine for me. I guess, if I put in more than 1 potential owners, the next in line would found the company if the former is under contract at the time?
  21. I guess my question fits in here: I hava a real world mod and start in 1982. But I want to include companies that were founded later. Like ECW in 1992. How can I make Tod Gordon the owner of ECW for example, without getting an error? Is there a way around that?
  22. Maybe I'm to blind to finde it, but is there no option to use a worker as an guest-announcer during matches? It would be a nice way to advance storylines without having to use the Road Agent Note.
  23. Does anybody know, what skills are important for Road Agents and how can they be improved?
  24. I guess, I'm to blind to find it since I'm pretty sure I saw it before, so: Is there an option, to create interpromotional Events with all companies in an Alliance taking part?
