  1. I'm pretty sure there's no way to track any status or improvement directly from the PC's ... at least none I've ever noticed. Only thing I've noticed is on a wrestler's page, you can see if they've been assigned to the PC. With that, yes, if they are assigned to your PC, you can still use them on your shows.
  2. You're regularly gaining popularity, but not full points, thus it stays at 0 until you've reached a full point gained. I often do "from-scratch" promotions and if I run one show per month, I've generally found every 4-5 months it'll increase (if I recall correctly).
  3. First, just want to say that I am digging this idea and am super excited for when you guys get this done. Second, a huge thanks to the team working on this, because I know it's a HUGE task. Lastly, my one question (or concern), are there parameters being put in place to make sure these local independents don't close after two years because they're losing a ton of money? I find this happens quite a bit with new companies even in the normal database. Also, to confirm they don't go outside of their purpose and start hiring big name wrestlers to huge contracts (thus causing them to lose a ton of money)? Maybe limit their hiring to a certain max popularity level, to ensure they always stay an independent and stick with lower-tier wrestlers? And will other small independents pop up in time? Seriously, thanks again guys, looking forward to this mod!
  4. I have the same situation. EILL asked me (my own created company) to be a development company for them about two years ago in my save. I agreed, but haven't received anyone. They don't have a training facility and only have 6 wrestlers currently under 30 on their roster (none under 25), out of 54, so I really am not expecting to get anyone sent to me. It does seem a little weird that they'd put the offer out there to accept developmental workers if they're not planning to send any, but I guess it at least allows me to have a good relationship with them.
  5. If I add a bunch of photos to the photo pack of an existing game, is there a way for the game to pull from those photos for auto-generated workers instead of it using the generic "blank" photo?
  6. Starting from scratch is actually about the only way I've ever played the game. Create myself as a character, and create my promotion where I want it. I know some like to start a promotion with $0, but I like to be a little realistic about it in the sense that no one is ever going to start a promotion in the real world with no money, but rather have some money to back it and run it, so I give myself $5M to start with. This way I know I won't immediately fail after one year (and waste time). With that, I do start my promotion with 0 popularity, 0 prestige and 0 momentum. I consider the early days of my promotion as a "growth fed" for talent and keep the roster low. So I hire younger wrestlers (with a few veterans mixed in) to let them grow, if they decide to move on to larger companies, then great, it allows me to mix things up a bit. I do also create a low-level Dojo to bring in a couple wrestlers a year as well. The early years can be rough and slow to build because you can't get Broadcasting deals. Running two event shows a month is taking me about 3 years to reach "Tiny". I had one save in TEW16 that lasted about 12-15 years (can't remember exactly how long), but by then we were mid-sized, had broadcasting deals, were making money, could put on good shows, could hire semi-high-level wrestlers, etc. Personally, it's about the only way I like playing the game.
  7. <p>Even back to 2016, Austin Smooth has always been one of my favs. I always play by starting a new company from scratch and he always comes in as one of the top guys. I just lost him to ACPW after 2 1/2 years in my current save.</p><p> </p><p> Katya Kornishkova is awesome. I'm loving her. Awesome heel, Great mic skills and good wrestling. One of my top wrestlers after 3 years. My current company is in Canada, and I have the Canadian Title. I love having her be the first Canadian champ and become the "Russian Queen of Canada", then bring in Canadian wrestlers to fight her to try bring honor back to Canada.</p>
  8. One could argue that any promo featuring Marc Mero and Sable was more about Sable, thus Sex Appeal was the primary attribute. In your situation, is the Sex Appeal attribute of the worker you used higher than the other workers Entertainment attributes? I would think that could play a role in determining what the "primary" rating was.
  9. <p>This is actually how I always play the game (though I use the C-Verse). I love creating a new fed and having it grow. Now, I play the game to where I am the owner and I have money and funding to get the company off the ground, so I start myself with maybe $1-5M, because let's face it, no one is going to start a company with no money.</p><p> </p><p> The one I just started, I do events twice a month and have 10 wrestlers on my roster. This allows for 60 minute shows to have 3 singles matches and 1 tag team match and maybe two angles.</p><p> </p><p> To start, I keep my roster between a couple (maybe 4) "known" wrestlers, and the rest are younger talent (rookies to maybe 3 years experience). I like to "advertise" my company as helping to grow smaller talent. From there, I grow the roster as I see fit. I always have an event called "Triple Threat" where I have all three-way matches, so by that time, I've expanded my roster to 12. Sometimes I'll see someone pop up that looks interesting and scoop them up to keep my roster growing.</p><p> </p><p> The other thing I also do is create my own Performance Centre. Again, playing that I have money, it'd make sense I could dump some cash in there. I actually start the PC a year before my company, so when I'm ready to jump in, I will start seeing talent become available that year. Now, I don't start the PC at highest level, in fact, I keep it pretty low, again playing the thought that after a year, it has a little credibility (5-10% Training Level / Facilities), but still isn't well known.</p><p> </p><p> I like to play fairly realistic when I do my own company, so everything really starts at the bottom, with the exception of money. And my end goal is to 1) have fun watching the company grow and 2) have fun watching it battle with other companies and 3) become a juggernaut federation.</p><p> </p><p> Ultimately, have fun with it!</p>
  10. I like to the play the game by creating my own company and then creating myself as a new character to play as the owner and also use him as the announcer and for occasional backstage or in-ring segments as "The Boss".
