  1. For me, PSW has the most exciting roster to start with, a solid heel faction, multiple young stars in the making, then a mix of rookies/youngsters & solid experienced indie workers. I've changed my product to Hardcore Evolved though as I prefer it to Extreme Hardcore personally. I think when WrestleWorld comes out I'll probably launch a TV deal with them too.

Just going to finish long-term booking plans tonight then hopefully sink my teeth into it!

  2. The C-Verse needs more Female workers!

This sentiment is shared by many, I've recentlygot into the C-Verse due to the mods/add-ons/expansions on these forums (and the renders!). Although as someone who was enjoying playing as AAA/QAW in the 2018 alt mod, when I came to playing the default data I felt a little let down. So I've decided to add some workers! I understand there is at least one other women's mod being worked on at the minute, and this probably won't be as deep as that. This is simply going to be about 60/100 workers being added. I'm hoping it can be a nice aid to peoples saves!

    Current state:

    • I've got 51 workers added too my database, I've assigned pictures, ages, how long they've worked, attributes & stats so far (the stat generator has cut the time down so much).

    • The split is about 25/26 currently but some workers can work other regions, and some can't. I've tried to balance this out as much as possible (as their are currently not that many existing women in these regions their are only a few so far who could carry a solid company, there's quite a few with potential & a lot of mediocre women but again once they get reps they should be fine).

    • I've reached out to both the artists I've taken the free pictures from. One has gave me the green light & currently waiting for a response from the other.

    Next few steps:

    • I need to add Pop & Bios to each worker, I imagine this is the next long-haul I'm in for.

    • Adding tag-team chemistry, to create a few teams in those regions.

    • I'm looking to add about another 50 workers Ideally.

Future plans I'm considering at the minute:

    • Continuing too add workers after the initial release, would probably change region to Australia or something at first.

    • Adding some companies for the workers, to well work, as I imagine if you wanted you could use some of the workers for a save but ideally the others would need other places to work.

    • Stuff like stables & employment history.

TLDR; Adding workers to the C-Verse, still got quite a while to go but it's getting their. Waiting for one of the artists to respond, worst case scenario I'll remove the photo's & try and find others.

If anyone has any suggestions on a character feel free to comment it :)

I was working on a real world mod until a few weeks ago. Due to everything going on I've put it on hold for now.

  3. I've done a few L2G over the last few years in RW databases but this looks like a whole new ball park & I love it! Going to start one later today, quick question, is the idea to move promotions or can you stay with one (or is it just up to the person). Either way I'm going to spend a bit of time reading through the thread as everyones stories look interesting! :)
  4. Personally mine are all available via my google drive link at the bottom of my posts above.

I believe others have been partially consolidated previously as folders or dropbox links but not sure if pinned to the first post in the thread or scattered through out. I think some others have shared their own individual links previously either here or in their own threads.

Ah okay thanks a bunch, I'll do some digging. Also whilst going through this thread & your own some of your renders, especially the free workers are awesome!

  5. What's happening when you go on the links? I've just tried and both worked for me, but there has been no new downloads for a few days so maybe you're not the only one!

USPW, TCW and SWF are always the best answers, they're basically your WWE/WCW companies. SWF have a bloated roster on this mod, USPW the big stars but some backstage issues and TCW are the more wrestling focused company with some top younger wrestlers just waiting to make the step up to the main event

The top 2 work fine! It's just under the picture are two more links that are dead.

Ah okay thanks! I really like the graphics compared to the normal C-Verse and started looking into QAW but might switch to AAA as I've never ran a womens only promotion before!

As I'm looking at additional worker additions that might be required to flesh out the rosters of some of the rosters of the smaller independent companies, and I'm starting to question the value that a few different companies add to the data. I've already mentioned All Star Wrestling (UK) and All Pro Wrestling (US). <p> </p><p> I'm not overly worried about processing speed or anything like that. I'm mulling them for basically the same factors that made me consider whether ASW and APW should be in the data. Many weren't running particularly regular schedules (making it hard to replicate accurately in TEW), many had a lot of similar talent as other indy companies, exclusive talent are fairly low level (and some will be in the data anyway), some of them overlap with other companies in the same regions, and some closed not too far down the road. By themselves, none of these factors mean a company shouldn't be in the data, but its just making me consider them. In terms of the talent to add, I have no fundamental issue in adding "low level" workers as I think they have a role. But they can take time, because some require cuts to be done and it can be hard to find any specific information for them (DOB, etc). </p><p> </p><p> I think there is something like 60 active promotions in the data, plus around 10 yet to debut. So pretty much every region is covered. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>All Star Wrestling</strong> - as already mentioned, loads of companies in the UK. ASW are a pretty old school company that is a bit tough to get the AI to emulate. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>All Pro Wrestling</strong> - as already mentioned, a Cali indy company</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Women Superstars Uncensored</strong> - one of three US-based all-women companies along with Shimmer and Shine. Ran a smaller schedule in 2013. I initially added them because I felt bad that Japan had so many joshi companies but unlike Japan, a lot of US indies have women on the roster. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Full Impact Pro</strong> - might just be my perception, but they seem like they were a fairly important indy promotion in the 00s but much less so by 2013. Besides being part of WWN, I don't know they add a lot</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Scottish Wrestling Alliance</strong> - Scotland has ICW. The UK as a whole has Attack, Progress, Fight Club Pro, IPW-UK, Preston City, ASW, Eve, and OTT will open in Ireland. I like the idea of the UK+Ireland scene have lots of active companies to help develop the talent that is there, but there is a tipping point where there are more companies than are really necessary. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>International Pro Wresting - United Kingdom</strong> - see above, really. Closed in early 2020 but from what I understand, wasn't particularly well regarded due to booking. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Preston City Wrestling</strong> - leaning moreso to keeping PCW ahead of ASW and IPW-UK, but its another that feels like overkill on the scene. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Independent Wrestling Association - Mid South</strong> - deathmatch / hardcore wrestling in the US has CZW, and GCW will open. IWA-MS had some real talent in the early 00s but a decade later? Less so. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Squared Circle Wrestling</strong> - another New York indy. Its in Syracuse but that won't matter in TEW terms. Closed in 2015. Not sure how it separates from companies like AAW, AIW, OVW, etc. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dragon Gate USA</strong> - I originally didn't have DGUSA in the data because in TEW2016, the DG-DGUSA relationship couldn't be emulated very well. The company would end up being like Dragon Pro Wrestling in the ThunderVerse, in that really talented Japanese junior wrestlers on the roster would result in fantastic grades and the company would invariably grow rapidly. I added them in largely due to new company relationships. DGUSA actually closed in early 2014, so they only had 8 more shows after the mod starts. They also have a heavy overlap with Evolve (which is on the mod) in regard to both talent and the product. </p><p> </p><p> So basically, I'm curious if anyone feels like these companies are definitely adding value to the mod in their eyes and would prefer to see them kept in?</p><p> </p><p> I'm not going to hit delete on any of them just yet. I'm mulling it. But I do decide to scrap a company (or several), rather than putting hours into competing their rosters (again, mostly adding in lower-level workers that work JUST for them), ensuring they have schedules, doing title and title lineages.... I can instead put those modding hours into finishing other elements and things would be that much closer to a beta release. If I delete some of them, I might look to add additional future companies in to compensate.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I think PCW & DG-USA are the ones I'd lean towards keeping</p>
  7. Update: The mod in it's current state is dead, with everything coming out in wrestling & mainly the British scene I decided to stop trying to update it to reflect the present scene as it's changing day-by-day.

However, I think I'm going to turn it into a 2021 Fantasy-esque mod, as in wrestling after the #SpeakingOut scandals & returning from Coronavirus. I'll probably for the most part limit this to Britain, Europe & America for the beginning. I already have a few ideas and based on real life information am going to incorporate some of that (Such as Progress new management, all the scandal & releases etc).

Any suggestions let me know, probably going to start a fresh on a clean version of the RWC for it.

Edit: I'll probably make a separate thread for that mod but not until I have something substantial to produce.

  8. Actually the report is that she basically refused to do anything for Impact while she was in Mexico and they had to reshoots and redo commentary for entire shows because she refused to send them promo stuff or interviews. So shes both a bully and difficult to work with it seems

Yep, plus her contract runs out in 4 days according to SRS, so it's not like she had a multiple year deal to pay off

  9. RWC is probably your best bet for now, or TheWho, TheWho's has the larger roster so anyone you can imagine will be there but I imagine with ICW you would struggle for now. I'm also not sure if he has converted his BritWres mod, if so that's probably the best one for now?

I started working on an BritWres mod, however I'm going to start it a new once all the news of recent weeks is confirmed and a list of the wrestlers is known. Because **** those guys.
