  1. UNDERWORLD WRESTLING

    EPISODE 1: PILOT

Saturday, Week 4 of October 2021

    711019nyfof.jpg

The show starts with a camera following Shane McMahon in the streets of a big city by night. Where are we? This can be New York, LA or Houston. The point is: you never know where an ultra secret fight club can be. Maybe it's next to you.

Shane McMahon walks a huge boulevard, then turns right on a street. He enters an empty launderette. Shane McMahon looks around, and makes sure he hasn't been followed. He then goes to a washing-machine, clicks a combination of buttons and... The whole facade of the machine opens!

The camera follows Shane O'Mac in a small tunnel, then down two dozens of steps. When the camera emerges, the atmosphere changes.

The room smalls sweat and alcohol. It's packed with shouting people. There might be 50 to 80 people, mostly men. They are all circling a ring and drinking beer.

Shane makes his way through the crowd who cheers on him, and steps in the ring that overhangs the room. As it's small, he doesn't need a microphone to be heard, just to shout: "IS THIS GOOD OR WHAT?"

Shane McMahon welcomes us to the Underworld. He says here, wrestlers fight til the end: submission or knockout only. No flash pin, no disqualification, everything is allowed!... Except 2 on 1. Here, we fight like men. He won't tolerate outside interference in matches.

The boss runs down the field for the Fists of Fury Tournament, and recaps the stakes: the winner will be granted a wish! "Ain't I great?"

With that being said, Shane says the Block A of Fists of Fury begins NOW. He then steps down in the crowd and goes straight to the bar on the side of the room. Next to the bar is a small table where Tommy Dreamer & Suge D watch the match and commentates for the TV audience. McMahon turns to the crowd: "Beer for everyone! This round's on the house!""

    _____

    1. Fists of Fury Block A - Tim Donst (0-0) vs. Odinson (0-0)

Wrestlers are forced to make their way through the crowd who circles the ring. As Odinson basks in the screams for the rabid fans, Donst gets in their face and insult them for being wrestling fans. He barely makes it to the ring, having been insulted and push around by the crowd, but never backed down from them and insulted them twice as much.

The bell rings, and Odinson makes a bee line towards Donst. The monstruous Odinson uses his strength to overpower Tim Donst, who answers with technical wrestling. Donst puts Odinson in an headlock as often as he can, getting booed by the fans. "You don't like a headlock huh? That's because wrestling SUCKS!"

Facing the immovable force of Odinson, Donst is soon overwhelmed. He makes it out of the ring where the crowd insults him more. Donst gets into an argument with a drunken fan and grabs his bottle of beer from his hands. He rolls back into the ring... And smashes Odinson's in the head! The glass explodes, Odinson's forehead cracks... But he stays up! Odinson screams in joy, licking his blood, as the crowd erupts. He pounds on Donst and grabs him by his leather jacket's collar. Odinson finishes him with a series of brutal headbuts, not letting him go until he's unconscious and declared KO by the ref.

    WINNER BY KO: ODINSON (1-0)

    ______

    uuMuij4.gif

The man formerly known as Killian Dain is in a dark room. He's sitting on a wooden chair, and before him is a rusty table with an empty glass of water on it.

Big Damo looks at the camera. He says he was a man lost. He lost his job, he lost his self-esteem, he lost his work visa, and he almost lost his wife. She's a champion now, but what is he? He vowed to not go home until he became someone... But where to start? He felt ashamed of himself, he hit rock bottom... That's when he met the man in a red suit.

He talked to him. He didn't showed him the way, but gave him the tools to find it himself. Damo comes to the Underworld to crush everyone. To regain trust in himself. Because he's a fighter. He's a beast. And to find himself he needs to act as one. Next week, Shlak DIES.

    _____

    2. Fists of Fury Block A - Davey Richards (0-0) vs. Michael Tarver (0-0)

Davey Richards walks straight through the crowd without even aknowledging the people screaming. Tarver, on his way to the ring, gets into an argument with the scrawniest man in the room and tries to belittle him.

As the match begins, Tarver gets cocky and taunts Richards, who's all business. It's all kicks vs. punches for the beginning of the match. Tarver, a former amateur boxer, tries to sink his 1-2 combo on Richards' face, but the American Wolf dodges most of the hits. He answers back with grueling leg kicks, destroying Tarver's calves.

The match is a straight up fight, and Tarver gets in a lucky uppercut that sends Richards down. As Tarver lifts his hands, he screams to the ref "HE'S OUT! HE'S OUT!" But Richards gets back up with the ropes and runs towards Tarver... Big yakuza kick! From then, it's all Richards as the former ROH World Champion comes at Tarver with a flurry of elbows and kicks. He finishes it with a kneebar for the submission win.

    WINNER: DAVEY RICHARDS (1-0)

    _____

    4DgK9Jh.jpg

"Man what a show, right?" Shane McMahon made his way back to the ring. He wants to end this episode with one more match, so he calls two men to the ring. The two colossus make their way through the crowd, pushing away people on their way.

    dQgcYKB.jpgJdvb1OI.jpg

It's the former Authors of Pain, Rezar & Akam aka Gzim Selmani and Sunny Dhinsa! The two huge men step into the ring and ask Shane McMahon who's there opponent for Open Fight Night. Shane says there's a mistake... He didn't make them come here to fight another team... but to fight each other! The winner will secure a contract with the Underworld - AND a 100.000$ bonus! The loser... Well we'll never see him again!

    _____

    3. Open Fight Night - Gzim Selmani vs. Sunny Dhinsa

There a slight moment of hesitation when the bell rings as the two friends look at each others... Then run straight into one another! It's a complete shock, and Dhinsa gets send away by a brutal kick. The two former partners go all out and it's a total slugfest.

Dhinsa is an olympic level judo practitioner, so he uses a judo throw to get the fight to the ground. As he starts to ground and pound Selmani with heavy 12-6 elbows, Selmani grabs his wrist... He tries an armbar! Selmani is an MMA fighter with a 6-2 records, he can hold on on the ground! But as he tries the armbar from under, Dhinsa gets up, lifts him up and powerbombs him!

The slugfest continues and neither man gets the upper hand, that's until Dhinsa tries a judo throw that backfires. Selmani grabs him by the waist and back bodyslams him STRAIGHT on his head! That was nasty! Dhinsa is almost done. He gets back up on instinct with help from the ropes. As the referee checks to see if he can continue, Selmani pushes him away and puts his former partner in a guillotine choke. Dhinsa taps out.

    WINNER: GZIM SELMANI (1-0)

As Selmani wins a contract, Shane McMahon who's in the crowd next to the ring screams at him. "If you smashes his brain, I double your bonus!". Selmani hesitates, so McMahon screams louder: "Make it triple!"

Selmani has a pokerface... But goes to his friend who's getting up... And knees him in the head! He knees him thrice and let him fall down, totally unconscious. The Underworld is a brutal world, and money seems to prevail over friendship.

    0ekhrvU.gif

The screen goes to Buddy Matthews in his couch. He was watching the show live on CHARGE! We hear him mutters "so THIS is the Underworld... Well, guess it's my ticket back to WWE.". Matthews shuts down the TV and cracks his neck. He gets up from the couch... And we see it's not a traditional living room. Buddy Matthews is in a garage with hitting bags, weights and a mat for wrestling training! He's taking this seriously, and next week, he makes his debut against Daniel Makabe.

    Quick Results:

    1. Odinson def. Tim Donst by KO in Block A of Fists of Fury.

    2. Davey Richards def. Michael Travers by submission in Block A of Fists of Fury.

    3. Gzim Selmani def. Sunny Dhinsa by submission for an Underworld contract and a 10.000$ bonus.

    MEET THE FIGHTERS

    UsKTbg5.gif

Davey Richards is an indy wrestling legend.

A pioneer of hybrid MMA/Wrestling style, he's also known for his unbearable ego. While his former best friend and tag team partner Eddie Edwards is a multiple time world champion in the USA and Japan, Davey Richards retired from wrestling for numerous years.

Now back in the business, he spoke about being sick of people making a living off his hard work. "If I began wrestling five years later, I would be the best f***in' around. Oh now small intense wrestler are cool? Hybrid wrestling is the hot s**t? I CREATED that style! Where are my millions of dollars? Where's my fame?"

If he wins Fists of Fury, Davey Richards' wish to Shane McMahon is quite something: he wants McMahon to arrange for him to be induct into EVERY wrestling Hall of Fames - most notably WWE's - for his contribution to wrestling.

    OK2kgsT.gif

Shlak is... Something. A deathmatch beast, he's as crazy as he looks. He's covered in tattoos, his stomach declaring "DRUNK", missing his front teeth, jacked to the gills, he has bugged out crazy eyes, and he's a total lunatic.

Rumored to have been commited to an asylum for a year, he's now in the Underworld to unleash total chaos. "I don't know how to do a proper hammerlock. I can't do a backflip. But there is no one who fights like I do. I will KILL everyone in the Underworld... No God, only Shlak."

If he wins Fists of Fury, Shlak has asked Shane McMahon only one thing... A deathmatch with Tommy Dreamer. Asked as to why he would make his wish, he refused to answer.

    XyJBwpt.gif

To him, the mat is sacred.

Daniel Makabe might be indy's wrestling best kept secret. For years, he put Seattle Wrestling on his back. Having a groundbreaking trilogy with Timothy Thatcher should have put him on the map, but at 39, Daniel Makabe seem far from ever doing it big times. It doesn't really bothers him, as Daniel Makabe is not after the fame.

"Wrestling is sacred. It's an artform. What matters is the skill, not the cheers or the money."

If he wins Fists of Fury, his wish is quite interesting. Pissed at Shane McMahon's winning a WWE tournament to be crowned "Best in the World", his wish is to face Shane in a match. Why? To erase the title of "Best in the World" from Shane's resume, which he views as disrespectful to wrestling.

    OUSzYSW.gif

"Witness me!" Odinson is an anomaly. He's what 9 century's monks from England must have seen coming out of longships when vikings were unleashed on Europe. Proclaiming to be a reincarnated god of war, Odinson comes to the Underworld to fight and claims his spot in Valhalla.

If he wins Fists of Fury, his wish is... Quite straightfoward? "When I beat every one of them in the name of Tyr, I want my longship filled with gold and treasures from this land. I will then sail to Valhalla and feast with my father."

    4zGL4re.gif

Tim Donst hates pro wrestling. Unconventionnal for a wrestler, right?

Donst has sacrificed everything for wrestling. He lost loved ones, never found love, and never made that much money. When he found out he had a kidney cancer, he hit rock bottom. After healing, Tim Donst's hate for pro wrestling grew even more when he realized he was incapable of doing anything else.

"I'm broken. Pro wrestling broke me. I don't know how to have a 9 to 5 job. I don't know how to communicate with normal people. I don't know how to properly behave in society. All I know is wrestling. Wrestling almost killed me... Now, I'm going to kill it."

If he wins Fists of Fury, Tim Donst wants Shane McMahon to shut down the Underworld, and to buy out every single wrestling promotions he can and shut them down. Especially "small indy wrestling like the companies that exploited me and stole my soul."

    uuMuij4.gif

"The Belfast Beast" Big Damo (fka Killian Dain) is a sight to behold. At 322 lb, he can manhandle everybody inside a ring. But life hit him hard. After being fired from WWE, Damo's visa expired, and he was sent back to Ireland. There, while he waited to make it back to the States and his wife, Damo met an enigmatic figure who promised him everything he wanted. "I was at a crossroad, litterally. I lost confidence, I didn't know how I was gonna be able to look at myself in a mirror. How I was gonna be able to look at my wife... Then I met him. The man in a red suit... And he showed me what I could be. He showed me the way."

Surprisingly, Damo has chosen to keep his wish secret. We will only know what it is if he wins Fists of Fury.

    6aHRSbA.gif

You all know Michael Tarver... Or at least that's what he claims.

Formerly a member of NXT, then one of the members of Nexus, he could have been something. With a ciseled physique, and a background in amateur boxing, Tarver was determined to make it. But fate decided otherwise. He was fired, he was criticized... And elected "Most Hated Wrestler" of 2010.

Now living up to this nickname, Tarver is a spiteful, horrible human being.

If he wins Fists of Fury, what he wants might sounds funny... He wants Shane McMahon to book him in a boxing match with Floyd Mayweather! "I know I can knock him out. I can knock anyone out!... And a boxing match with Mayweather is how you get famous and rich, right?"

    0ekhrvU.gif

Buddy Matthews is wrestling's best kept secret.

The Australian grappler is fearless in and out of the ring. With a wrestling acumen what can be found maybe once in a generation, the former Buddy Murphy might be one of the best pound for pound wrestler in the world. Problem is, he could never catch a break.

From being put in an uninspiring tag team, to being brainwashed by a creepy cult leader, to being misused and underated, Buddy is not the worldwide star he should be.

"The Underworld is a fresh start. I will prove myself here with the toughest SOBs around."

If he wins Fists of Fury, Buddy wants a second chance: a WWE contract and a world title shot to prove himself.

  3. 2021 Ozeki Summit Finals Kato versus Juro DeGuchi

Kato will make history with a 3peat... Right? HardRock Juro already has a title shot and his undefeated run sounded like a last hurrah

UPJ International Heavyweight Title Match “The God Emperor” Kintaro Kinjo © versus Ryotaro Naruto

I mean hey, easiest pick of the card I guess?

UPJ International Tag Team Title Match Pure MUSCLE (Atonga & Taheiji Ebisawa) © versus Filipino Fire Power (Amado Ocampo & Apolinario)

Ok, might be the 2nd easiest pick of the card.

UPJ Junior Heavyweight Title Match “The Steampunk Assassin” Jin Fujiwara © versus Furosuto

I expect a NJPW style "first time champ loses really quick before scrapping back to a 2nd title run" here. Plus, Furosuto rocks (I think he's 5th in Franchise Players list when you start with in UPJ?)

UPJ Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title Match Cameron Cody & Junichi Matsuo © versus The Dream (Kozue & Magnum Idol)

The Dream is a fantastic idea (that I shamelessly stole for a quick UPJ game)

Junichi should go for the single gold after that!

Eight Man Tag Match Kinjo-jidai (“God’s Favorite” Katsuhiko Ishii, Mr. Yamashita, Waotaka Eda, and Torture) versus Ignite Muscle Army (Erik van Rijn, Bruiser Cassidy, Alvaro Buey III, and Takehide Harada)

Ishii's momentum keep going. I predict he pins Rijn setting up Ishii & Kinjo vs. Kato & EVR before the 2 singles match

Shane McMahon, via his new promotion's website, announced the date of the first episode of Underworld Wrestling. Titled "Pilot", this episode will air on CHARGE!, the third saturday of october, at 10pm.

He also surprised everyone with a rather bland announcement. His "groundbreaking" wrestling TV show will host... A tournament.

But here's the twist, this tournament - 8 wrestlers in 2 blocks, with the 2 leaders of each block fighting for the win - will not be used to crown an inaugural champion. The winner of the Fists of Fury Tournament will be "granted a wish. Anything money can buy... Which means everything", as per Shane McMahon.

He also added that the spots are expensive in the Underworld. So the two men who finish last on each block will face each other... With the loser being fired.

He added that there would be "Open Fight Nights" where uncontracted workers will be able to showcase their talents - and maybe get a contract.

RAW Underground was a gigantic failure.

But that's fine. I have failed before. What matters is that I succeded a lot more than I failed in my life. What matters in failure is what you learn.

With RAW Underground, I learned a couple of things.

First, there is a real market for gritty, cinematic wrestling. The pandemic made every single promotion go nuts with cinematic wrestling, but with crowd coming back they revert to their old tried and tested template of a wrestling show. That's a mistake. Where're the creativity? Lucha Underground was big. Its producers understood the evolution of the business before anyone. But it was a little too early, like every stroke of genius. Now, in a post-pandemic wrestling world?... It would have been HUGE.

Second, I am like my father. I cannot delegate. I cannot let other people interfere with MY vision. That's why I was so disappointed with RAW Underground. It could have - should have - been big.

Third... WWE is a sinking ship. I mean, duh, right? I'm not the violinist on the Titanic, I won't go down with the ship. I won't be part of a Disney sell or a disastrous loss to AEW. I won't inherit one half - or one third? - of a complete mess when my father passes away. Good luck to Stephanie and Paul with that.

What I want is what I always wanted. My thing. My vision. My legacy. I won't disown my name nor my family, I'm still a McMahon... Shane McMahon.

    So let's try this again.

Let's dig a little big deeper than Underground.

And what's deeper than the Underground?

The Underworld. Where damned beasts battle for salvation. Where it's fight or die. The land of broken dreams - and bones.

A land where there are no rules. Just wrestling.

    __________

BREAKING NEWS - Shane McMahon striked a deal with Charge! to air a wrestling show called "Underworld Wrestling". The deal is said to be for 12 1 hour episodes.

Shane McMahon held a short press conference to talk about this new promotion. He said it will focus on the gritty, grindhouse style wrestling akin to Lucha Underground. That Lucha Underground parentage goes deep, as Shane McMahon recruited the now deceased company's Executive Produceur and co-creator Chris DeJoseph as his right hand man.

On his relationship with his family and the WWE, Shane McMahon said: "we're fine. My father understands pride and ambition. He gave me his blessing. He also understood that my thing won't go against the WWE. Who knows, I can even help."

On the starting roster: "As far as the voices of the Underworld, I tried to mesh the old and the new. Tommy Dreamer will be our lead colour guy. He will bring his experience... And lust for violence to the audience. Next to him will be a veteran who has been quite a recent sensation, Suge D aka "Pineapple Pete". He will be sure to bring excitement and fun... And as far as in ring talent... You will know soon enough, but there are some surprises, I can promise.

  7. Hey there guys!

Going through some job struggles right now that reduce the time I can allow to this diary.

I could continue it with abridged formatting for shows, but I feel like that while it could work with say a Puro fed, it wouldn't sit well with the NWA that is heavily angle-driven. What is more, there's a small writer brun-out storywise, that comes from the fact that I am, unfortunately, easily bored (troubles of an hyperactive child)

This diary have been really great for me and I loved every part of it, most specially your comments, predictions and commentaries.

I will put this diary on hold for the moment, as I'd rather give it a long break rather than sacrificing on the length/format AND writing while uninspired. I strongly encourage you to go check out the CCW: Hot Dogs, Handshakes, and the Resurrection of the Mid-Atlantic diary that I am running with Texas & tobin that are two fantastic writers. We're only beginning this journey and it will be a fun ride.

I might start a small NJPW diary on the side, as I can write a match-driven, less angles and less to no pictures more easily (and already have had a 1-year game :p ) Still considering it tho.

Thank you to everyone who supported this journal, it'll be back!

  8. I LOOOVE some CHIKARA!

Small typo i think: it's Mobius and not Morbius if i'm not mistaken :p

For The Culture vs. The Proteus Wheel

Team Dragon Gate vs. Legion of Rot ft. Morbius

The Creatures of the Deep vs. The Zo' Train

Effy's Big Gay Trio vs. SmileyKylieSaw

    Fury Road vs. The Colony

Ice Cream by the Cabana vs. NEO Biishiki-gun

    Team TJPW vs. Xyberhawx2000

The Crucible vs. Top Flight to the Nile

  9. BREAKING NEWS: THE NWA TO AXS TV?

News have leaked that the National Wrestling Alliance might have concluded a deal with AXS TV, which is already broadcasting Impact Wrestling. Word is Billy Corgan burying the hatchet with Impact new management and parent company Anthem Sport (which also owns AXS) as well as giving "strong financial incentives" allowed the deal to be brokered.

It is important to be reminded that the NWA has been running solely on merchandising and PPV money, NWA Powerrr being free on Youtube and never making a single dime. Billy Corgan had to inject a lot of money into the company for the last two years. Reports are saying he feels confident with this move, that NWA Powerrr gave the company a following solid enough to move to TV. Will the NWA finally make a profit?

What is yet to be decided is what will become of NWA Powerrr. The fan favourite show might move to AXS as it is, but AXS TV officials are requesting a new branding to differenciate from the Youtube only production. What is sure is that the Studio TV Format will stay, as it is seen as a success by both managements and the fans alike.

New NWA Analyst Samoa Joe says that night one was packed with incredible action. When Joe Galli asks him who gets "Performance of the Night" for Night 1 from him, Joe says it has to be Gzim Selmani & Sunny Dhinsa, who fought like warriors inside a cage and managed to win the richest prize in tag team wrestling. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> David Marquez hypes up the card for tonight, with Marti Belle taking on former friend and mentor Allysin Kay ; E-LI-DRAKE facing off with ROH World Heavyweight Champion RUSH ; Serena Deeb making the first defence of her NWA Women's World Championship against first time challenger Kamille ; and of course, THE big one, NWA World Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis defends against blood rival JAY BRISCOE in the Main Event! Galli notes that Samoa Joe is former 2 time tag champ with Aldis in TNA and NOAH, and asks him what he thinks of the Main Event. Joe says it's 50/50 for him, Aldis got the superior strength and technique, BUT Jay Briscoe has a fire and a heart that is unmatched by Aldis, and that's something you can't bet against.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Joe Galli thanks him for his insight and launches the night, let the action being!</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>__________</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52080" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="VrGWa9X.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/VrGWa9X.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="EC3QDuP.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EC3QDuP.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>1. Marti Belle vs. Allysin Kay</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Conspicuous by their absence are The Pope and Famou B, who after having Trevor Murdock beaten down yesterday and left with the NWA National Heavyweight Championship belt, are nowhere to be seen. Instead, Marti Belle is making her way to the ring with TNT, Terrence & Terrell, by her side, giving her the support of the Congregation although its leader isn't here. Opposing her is the former NWA Women's World Champion Allysin Kay.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Kay mocks Belle for "needing back up", and asks them if they're gonna jump her after she beat Marti. She doesn't speak in the microphone, but she shouts loud enough so that we can here. Taking exception to this, Marti Belle goes to her corner and... She asks her Congregation allies to leave! They seem reluctant, arguing that Pope asked them to support her, but she asks them to trust her. "I've got this brothers."</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> As they leave, Mart Belle turn around to a smiling Allysin Kay. This is on.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Marti Belle was once Allysin Kay's friend and understudy, before joining with Melina two years again in the early beginnings of NWA Powerrr. She then turned to the Congregation for support, and has been on a winning streak since joining the Pope's ranks. Kay, for her part, has seldom been seen on Powerrr after failing to recapture the Women's championship from Thunder Rosa and accumulating losses. She asked for this match because she felt Marti Belle was stealing her spot, and that she wasn't impresed by Marti Belle's recent amazing form. The two women are fighting with high stakes of pride and career progression here, as Joe Galli notes that the winner could well be in line for a NWA Women's World Title shot.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> The two competitors circle around each other in a short feeling out process, then go all out in a short but intense sequence of chain wrestling where they exchange quick holds and escapes. Kay has Belle in a wrist lock, but Marti performes a one hand handspring to relieve her wrist from the twisting, before going for Allysin Kay for a quick fireman's carry slam transitioned into a headlock. Kay powers out of the headlock though, and goes back to a corner.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> This beginning gives us a good insight to the rest of the match, that is really opened. Allysin Kay wants to do what anyone with that much of a size and weigth advantage would want to be: overpower her opponent. She delivers slams after slams, even hitting a powerbomb for a two count, and shows that she's still a championship caliber wrestler. But it's Marti Belle who steals the show here. Showing off that she has made huge progress, she resists the onslaugh of offense and uses fast-paced action to stay in the match. After twelve minutes of actions, she's still in it.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Allysin Kay tries to go for another powerbomb, but Marti counters with a facebuster! Kay gets back up immediately by instinct, but that a wrong choice: Marti Belle grabs her and in a surprising feat of strength picks her up not for one, not for two, but for three consecutive suplex!... The Three AmigAs! Marti then goes to the top rope and hits the Frog Splash for the win!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>WINNER: MARTI BELLE</strong></span></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="VrGWa9X.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/VrGWa9X.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="EC3QDuP.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/EC3QDuP.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;">"Marti Belle just forced us to put some respect on her name, I'm telling you!" says David Marquez on commentary. As the bell rings, Marti Belle triumphs with some apprent emotion. She's quickly solidifying herself into a top wrestler in the women's division right now. The referee raises her hand and she takes a minute to celebrate... When Allysin Kay comes to her.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> The two women exchange words we can't quite hear, and Allysin Kay offers Marti Belle her hand... They shake hand! Allysin Kay lifts Marti's fist in the air and leave the ring applauding her. As the camera focuses on her face, we can clearly see what she is saying: "you earned my respect". Tonight, Marti Belle won the match, but most importantly the respect of her former friend and mentor.</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>__________</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="4ZvcZ9g.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4ZvcZ9g.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="qq4VDzP.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/qq4VDzP.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;">Eli Drake is getting ready for his upcoming match in his locker when NWA Road Agent and co-producer Truth Martini enters! Martini, having cut his long signature hair, is holding his "Book of Truth" under his arm. He tells Eli Drake he's glad he has listened to him. Drake seems to don't understand, and Martini says that he KNOWS he contributed to ignite the spark inside him. When Eli was invited on Powerrr Surge episode 2, Truth couldn't help but intervene because he saw he could help him, just like he helped Roderick Strong see the truth in 2010 and ultimately conquer the World Championship. Truth offers Eli Drake to manage him tonight for his match against Rush.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Eli's answer is a cold shower: he says Martini didn't ignited anything in him. Eli Drake is his own man and he makes his own choice. He always had it in him, despite his doubt, and he always knew how to be heard. It's HIM who invaded ROH and attacked Rush. HIM who defeated Kenny King, a former multiple time tag and tv champion. And it's HIM who will prevail tonight and earn a shot at the ONE world championship he's craving for: the TRUE World championship in wrestling, and that is the NWA World Title. Eli Drake brushes off a scorned Truth Martini and tells him he doesn't need him and doesn't want to have his mind poisoned by some "new age personal coaching inner spiritual BULLCRAP!"</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Eli leaves the room, leaving Martini upset and vexed.</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>__________</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52080" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="4ZvcZ9g.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/4ZvcZ9g.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="5K5KSWZ.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5K5KSWZ.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>2. Eli Drake vs. Rush</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Ring Of Honor World Heavyweight Champion Rush makes his entrance to grand fanfare, with pyros and streamers being thrown. Samoa Joe on commentary notes nonetheless that Rush has a naaaasty look in his eyes. His honor have been scorned, his pride has been touched, and he's out for blood. Eli Drake comes out with the same focus. He knows this is is ultimate chance to prove himself. For almost two years he's been denied a shot by Nick Aldis. If he beats Rush he hopes to be what his new nickname says he his: "Undeniable".</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> The match doesn't take time with chain wrestling or feeling out process like the last one, as the two wrestlers go ALL OUT like they were Shibata and Ishii. They run towards each other and throw forearms to each other. It's a messy brawl, and Rush gains ground on Drake who gets stucked back to the corner. Rush hits him in the gut, makes him seat and goes to the opposite corner... CORNER SHOTGUN DROPKICK! THE BULL'S HORN! A minute into the match, Rush has already hit one of his finisher! Drake falls through the ropes to the outside of the ring, clearly hurt by this formidable shot to his head. Rush is all business and goes to the outside. He picks Drake up and tries to send him to the barricade outside of the ring, but Drake reverses the irish whip, and it's Rush who hit the barricade with speed! Rush has hitten the barricade with his back and screams in pain. Eli Drake takes a second to breathe, then flies at Rush with a clothesline. Both guys go over the barricade!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> As the referee begins to count them out, Drake and Rush get back up, already tired, and... They brawl in the crowd! They are brawling all over the arena! They go through the first row in lenght, and get back on the good side of the barricade while brawling like two dogs. Rush takes back the upper hand with a knee to Drake's gut and sends him back to the ring. Not wanting to slow down, he goes straight to the turnbuckle, he wants to hit La Lanza! He jumps, but Drake rolls out of the way!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> The match has been going on for less than 3 minutes, and the two men already went ALL IN! They each go to a corner after this violent burst of a match beginning, because they need to catch their breath back.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> What follows is a show stealing match that never truly slows down. For 19 minutes, the two men hit the other with everything they got. Rush kicks out after a Gravy Train TWO times, while Eli Drake escapes from a El Amarre by graving the rope and kicks out after another Bull's Horn. It's a testimony to both men cardio and athletic abilities that they manage to go all out for so many times and still get back up.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> In the end, Rush has had enough. He retrieves his belt and wants to use it as a weapon. He doesn't care that he will be disqualified, he's just one angry white bull. Drake gets back up, and Rush runs towards him with the belt in hand. Drake cuts him off with a gut kick. He follows up by a knee to the face of Rush, and a BRUTAL discuss clothesline!... But Rush doesn't go down! He stumbles, only staying on his feet thanks to his incredible fighting spirit, his heart of a champion. Eli Drake then picks him up... VERTICAL SUPLEX PILEDRIVER!... IT'S THE STEINER SCREWDRIVER! What a brutal move!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>WINNER: ELI DRAKE</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Eli Drake as won a grueling match. On commentary, Samoa Joe gets up and applause him. He says Eli Drake is every bit of what he says: UNDENIABLE! Joe says he's just here in the NWA since yesterday, but THAT is what a world champion should look like, and he hopes Eli Drake will be made the official #1 contender really quick!</span></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p>__________</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="52080" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="cfjTfaN.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/cfjTfaN.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> <img alt="p7zDOhx.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/p7zDOhx.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="WyJbqS2.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/WyJbqS2.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>3. Women's World Championship Match: Serena Deeb © vs. Kamile</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> What happens when a 15 years veteran who had to fight and claw for everything she has and finally reaches the pinnacle of her sport faces an hungry young talented newcomer who doesn't want to wait to be considered the best in her sport?</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> This match happens.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Serena Deeb is a wrestler's wrestler, perhaps one of the best pure technical female wrestler on earth today. She faces the über-athlete that is Kamille, a former football player, a bodybuilding champion and an opponent who TOWERS over her, with a full head taller than her. Tonight, Kamille isn't accompanied by her husband Thomas Latimer, as on commentary David Marquez tells us that he's injured from the brutal cage match yesterday where he and Doug Williams won the tag team championship. Strictly Business lost a championship yesterday but looks to add a different one to their resume tonight!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Serena Deeb's gameplan is to keep Kamille down, where her size and strength advantage won't be useful, and she manages to do it! Serena Deeb totally outwrestles Kamille for the first portion of the match, wrestling circles around her like she was a total rookie, and upsetting the Brickhouse. Serena Deeb almost scores a winning pinfall with an oklahoma roll combination, but Kamille BRUTALLY kicks out and gets angry! The Brickhouse is fuming and she screams. Serena attempts a double leg takedown but Kamille just won't go down. She grabs her and puts her up, POWERBOMB! A pinfall attempt, and Serena Deeb kicks out at one.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Kamile just flipped the table. She goes all out on Serena Deeb and catches her with a scary big boot to the face. She won't go down no more and reverses every Serena Deeb's attempt with just pure brute strength. This can't go long though, as Serena Deeb, after taking her part of damages, outsmarts her and locks a Crossface Chickenwing out of nowhere! Kamille struggles but finally rolls to the rope.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> The story being told here is straightforward: can Kamille's superior athletic abilities overcome Serena Deeb's experience and technical wizardery? Can a superior athlete beat a master of his craft? On commentary, Samoa Joe says that wrestling experience should always prevail, but he notes that there's another match going on: a mental fight. Serena Deeb has already been pinned by Kamille twice in tag team match. Thus, Kamille is confident she can beat her, and on her part she hasn't been pinned since fighting Thunder Rosa WEEKS ago. Joe notes that Serena Deeb might lacks the confidence to win it.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> He might be right, as Serena Deeb once again finds herself in deepwater when Kamille bodyslams her and hits a jumping knee drop to he face for a two count. Serena's just overwhelmed by the moves she's taking. Of course, she gives back move for move, but Kamille is far more endurant. Our analyst Samoa Joe notes that Deeb is getting tired quicker than her opponent and that migt be her doom. Kamille targets her back with furious backbreakers and even a Torture Rack that Serena Deeb barely escapes.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> The odds of winning grow thinner and thinner for Serena Deeb, and that's when she decides to go absolutely BERSERK. Channeling her inner Toshiaki Kawada, she throws an astonishing Dangerous Kick to Kamille! Serena shouts, she's a house of fire despite being weakened. She picks Kamille up and tries to lift her... GANSO BOMB! GAMSO BOMB! SHE DID IT!... But she's out! Serena Deeb is too tired to make the pinfall! She's SO close to winning it!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> As the crowd chants her name, Serena Deeb sloooowly make her way to the ropes. She uses it to help herself up, as the ref count both women down. When he's at seven, Kamille is on one knee and Deeb is pulling on the rope to get back up. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Eight. Kamille takes a deep breath as Serena Deeb is stumbling back up.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Nine... KAMILLE IS UP!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Both women stare at each other to the thunderous ovation from the crowd. It's the decisive moment, everyone can feel it... But do they have enough left in the tank? Serena Deeb slowly approaches Kamille and tries an elbow, but Kamille quickly blocks it with both her forearms. Serena goes for a roundhouse kick, Kamille wants to block again with her forearms... But it's a feint! She instead kits a low kick that makes a HUGE noise. Serena goes for the ropes,... BUT GETS CAUGHT BY A SPINEBUSTER ON HER WAY BACK! SPINEBUSTER OUT OF NOWHERE!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Kamille pins Serena Deeb, whose back must be absolutely broken.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> ...</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> One, two, and three.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>WINNER AND NEW NWA WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPION: KAMILLE</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> She did it!... NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match: Jay Briscoe vs. Nick Aldis ©</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> This is it folks. This is for all the marbles.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> It all started back in summer of 2019, when Jay Briscoe and his brother invaded the NWA and Nick Aldis stood up to them. Then, at Hard Times 2, the NWA's return to Pay Per View post-pandemic, Jay Briscoe made his mark, attacking Nick Aldis after he just defended the title in a gurelling contest against Ken Shamrock. Months of fight and gang warfare ensued, with Strictly Business getting involved, and both men being on giving AND receiving ends of numerous beatdowns. </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> This all led up to this. An ultimate grudge match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. If Jay Briscoe loses, he will be ban from the NWA FOREVER. For Nick Aldis, everything he worked for for three years is at stakes. He won't let an outsider come in, disrespect the brand he helped bringing back to relevance, and take away his world championship.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> The hatred is palpable, and as soon as the bell rings Jay Briscoe runs to Nick Aldis... Who leaves the ring. The champion is reprimanded by the referee, but he tells the ref he wants him to keep Briscoe in check. We can hear him tell to the ref that "this is a professionnal wrestling match, not a barfight!" Ever the professional, Nick Aldis doesn't want this match to be a fight. He wants it to be a contest, because he knows that's where he's the best.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> The britishman gets back in the ring, and we get a reverse of what happens in the last match: he begins to wrestle circles around Jay Briscoe, even humiliating him with Johnny Saint-like chain wrestling. But when Jay Briscoe gets mad, he gets mad... And already attempts a Jay Driller! Aldis barely escaped, but that frightens him. He knows it could be over this quick.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Jay Briscoe's fury is something to behold, and when he gets rolling he absolutely smashes Nick Aldis. The champion gets the upper hand back when he actually WRESTLES, but when he loses his temper and answers Jay Briscoe with even more brawling, he gets overwhelmed. This is the story of the match: Nick Aldis has to WRESTLE to beat Jay Briscoe, but the hatred between the two men is so high that he just wanna punch him in the face.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> It's a 24 minutes masterpiece where the two men appear to be capable of winning at any moment. Jay Briscoe tries to hit the Jay Driller at numerous time to end it, forcing Aldis to stay alert. The champ, for his part, has no definitive match-killer. Of course, he tries to put Briscoe in his King Lynn's Cloverleaf, but Briscoe fights out of it two times. When Aldis FINALLY locks it in the third time, he's too close from the ropes and Jay catches them.</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Briscoe is brute strength that can kill the match anytime with his dreaded Jay Driller, but Nick Aldis has to play the long game. He has to dismantle his opponent, to target his knees, to try submissions, to be smarter. Surprisingly though, Nick Aldis never cheats in the match. It's Jay Briscoe who gets dirty, when he unties a turnbuckle pad. The referee comes at him, but Jay won't listen. He grabs Aldis, wants to drive his face in the exposed steel turnbuckle! Aldis JUST avoids it by putting his hands on the third rope, but Jay hits him in the gut with a knee. He punches Aldis and puts him in the corner. Jay takes some momentum, he goes for a Stinger's Splash... BUT ALDIS DODGES! JAY BRISCOE'S FACE HITS THE STEEL TURNBUCKLE AT FULL SPEED!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> Jay Briscoe is wide open on the forehead, and Nick Aldis knows it's his time to capitalize. Jay Briscoe is totally groggy, stumbling, and Aldis kicks him in the gut... PILEDRIVER!</span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>WINNER AND STILL NWA WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: NICK ALDIS</strong></span></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="mtLVMXM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/mtLVMXM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:12px;">"Concord North Carolina!... NIGHT ONE

LIVE FROM THE CABARRUS ARENA IN CONCORD, NC

    SbVug87.jpg6OAJRof.jpg

The National Wrestling Alliance is LIVE ON PAY PER VIEW! Joe Galli and David Marquez welcome us to this marquee event. It's the return of the NWA Pop Up Event! This two night extravaganza start tonight and will culminate in a HUGE cage match for the NWA World Tag Team Championship. But Joe Galli ponders on the commentary team... Are they enough to comment this grandiose event? Is two of them enough? David Marquez smiles and says this will turn into a three men commentary team. He's more than happy to welcome us the NEW NWA ANALYST MAKING HIS DEBUT TONIGHT...

    XYf0Ldk.png

    IT'S SAMOA JOE!

The crowd goes nuts as Joe makes his way to the commentary table and sits between Joe Galli and David Marquez, near the entrance ramp. Marquez notes that Samoa Joe is a multiple time world champion, and also a former tag team champion with current NWA World Champ Nick Aldis. His expertise will allow him to break down every thing we see in that ring. Joe says he's happy to be in the NWA, where wrestling is a sport. He'll gladly share his experience and use it to allow each and every person watching to feel like they're in the ring.

Joe Galli asks him what match he is most excited for this week end, and Joe can't help but talk about the big main event we're having tonight. Gzim Selmani is an MMA bad ass, and Sunny Dhinsa is a world class judoka. Joe says he sees a lot of himself in them, two agile big men who can do everything in the ring. He's eager to see them step into the cage with the tag champs, and predicts Occam's Razor will walk away with the gold tonight. But let's get this show started!

    1. Ten Men Battle Royal for a shot at the NWA World Television Championship

Jervis Cottonbelly vs. JR Kratos vs. Aron Stevens vs. Mike Bennett vs. Adrian Quest vs. TK Cooper vs. Brian Milonas vs. Andy Brown vs. Terrell vs. Terrence

Before the match start, we get a huge staring "feeling out" moment as Devon Dudley's twin sons Terrell and Terrence step in the middle of the fray, back to each other. They seem to be challenging the rest of the field... Until the monstruous JR Kratos puts them both down with a clothesline.

The action is simple and straight forward, and lift up the crowd as it goes on. Terrell & Terrence use their teamwork to quickly eliminate Aron Stevens who didn't last long in this match. They then come toe to toe with the other team in this battle royal, SoCal Distancing. Andy Brown & Adrian Quest use their quickness and experience to confuse the twins and have them run into each other before dropkicking them OUT of the match!

ARON STEVENS, TERRELL & TERRENCE HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED

As JR Kratos dominates the field, Brian Milonas steps up to his face. Since winning 10 000 $ from Aron Stevens, Milonas seems to have been living the life. He's wearing a comically undersized Gucci dressed shirt and a pair of rose tinted sunglass, acting like he's Conor McGregor or something. He gets into a huge big men slugfest with JR Kratos, exchanging blows in the middle of the ring.

Meanwhile, Mike Bennett has been stretching Jervis Cottonbelly using the ropes to his advantage, but he can't quite put him over the top as the World's Sweetest holds on tight. TK Cooper comes to Bennett's aid and tries to push Jervis with him. Mike Bennett sees him in the corner of his eye... And puts HIM over the top, basically double crossing him!

    TK COOPER HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

With his fiancee Dahlia Black consoling him ringside, TK Cooper is fuming! Mike Bennett resume his attempt at putting Jervis over the tope. Meanwhile, SoCal Distancing interrupts the slugfest, as they dropkick both Milonas and Kratos... To small effect! The two big men change their focus, and they start beating on Brown & Quest. JR Kratos even has Brown in a bearhug, but his partner saves him with a superkick to the back of JR Kratos' head. Kratos stumbles, still holding on to Andy Brown... And goes over the top while still "huggin" Andy Brown! Adrian Quest has eliminated his partner by mistake!

JR KRATOS & ANDY BROWN HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED

Adrian Quest can't believe what he's done and apologizes... Mike Bennett, ever the opportunist, runs at his back and sends him over the top just like that!

    ADRIAN QUEST HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

That leaves Milonas, Cottonbelly and Mike Bennett. Milonas walks towards Mike Bennett in Vince McMahon/Conor McGregor power walk... And gets slapped in the face! The two men brawl for a while, as Jervis Cottonbelly has freed himself from the ropes and just watch them. After a few moments, Milonas & Bennett realize Cottonbelly is just watching them, letting them get tired. They turn their heads towards him, and he waves at the two men who runs towards him. Cottonbelly ducks under and rolls, getting to the middle of the ring in a gymnastics like pose. That angers Mike Bennett who grabs him by his mask and picks him up for his Box-Office Smash! Cottonbelly is out, but Milonas picks him up and military presses him out for good measures.

    JERVIS COTTONBELLY HAS BEEN ELIMINATED

In a battle of hoss vs. intensity, Milonas gets too cocky and let Mike Bennett kick him in the balls after dominating him with powermoves. As a battle royal is technically without disqualification, Mike Bennett is free to do as he wishes. He kicks Milonas a second time for good measure and grabs him by his hair before throwing him out!

    WINNER: MIKE BENNETT

Just weeks after quitting on Strictly Business, fate is finally smiling at Mike Bennett who will get a title match with the NWA World Television Champion!... But who's that going to be when he cashes in this title match?

    __________

    EOWONlk.jpgw5fX4gE.jpg

    2. Vipress vs. Holidead

This is Holidead in-ring singles debut in the NWA, since debuting at Super Powerrr by running off Vipress who injured her "Sister" Thunder Rosa. Since then, Holidead has been focused on the Serpent of Evil, spooking her and pursuing revenge at every occasion.

Like often, the cold-blooded Vipress takes her time, as soon as the bell rings, she dodges a running and furious Holidead and rolls under the first rope. Vipress circles around the ring, preying on her opponent, as the referee counts her out. It's only when he's at 6 that Holidead gets angry, runs towards the rope and hits a suicide dive!... But Vipress saw her coming and ducked it, leading to Holidead crashing into the barricade! Vipress slow approached once again gives her an early advantage in a match.

She grabs Holidead by her hair and smashes her into the barricade before dragging her back into the ring. From then, the snake stomps on Holidead's knee, apparently wanting to injure her the same way she did with Thunder Rosa. But the evil that lives in Holidead is stronger, and after being beaten down for a few minutes, she comes back into the match with a flurry of elbow smashes.

Limping, Holidead is still a scary opponent. Even on one knee and a half she manages to corner Vipress and delivers a beautiful handspring elbow to her face, leading to Vipress being bloodied on the lips! The Serpent of Evil tastes her own cold blood and kicks out from a pin attempt. Instead of getting back up, she grabs Holidead's leg with her own two legs and puts her down. She then grabs Holidead's knee and twist it as much as she can. Holidead screams in pain, but soon the scream turns into... Laughters? Holidead is now laughing like a mad women, and even the emotionless Vipress is surprised and horrified. Still in the hold, Holidead punches her in the mouth multiple times. Vipress let her go, wanting to retreat into a corner, but Holidead follows her, grabs her by the hair... Vipress is still holding to the second ropes, wanting to escape, but Holidead SNATCHES her away and hits her with the Darkness Falls!

    WINNER: HOLIDEAD

She got revenge! As her gloomy music hits, a limping Holidead smiles and licks Vipress' blood from her knuckles. Darkness has fallen on the NWA Women's division.

    3. NWA World Television Championship Match: Jocephus © /w. JR Kratos vs. Anthony Bennett /w. Tim Storm

The highly anticipated rematch is here! The monstruous Jocephus basically toyed with Anthony Bennett and took away his NWA World Television Championship in the process despite the young man's fighting spirit. Tonight, he attempt to makes his first title defence en route to having the 7 needed defences to challenge for the World Championship. As he's accompanied by his follower JR Kratos, Anthony Bennett also has some back up in the form of Jocephus' former rival and conqueror, TIM STORM!

The former NWA World Heavyweight Champion whispers some advices to the young Bennett before the bell ring. As this is a TV Title match, the match is limited to seven minutes, so whoever wants to win decisively has to act FAST.

That's what Anthony Bennett does. Showing he's by no mean afraid of Jocephus despite the way he beat him a week ago, Anthony Bennett goes straight at him! He jumps and attempts a Tornado DDT, but Jocephus pushes him away while he's in the air and Bennett falls back on his feet. He IMMIDIATELY rushes back to the offense with a running knee that hits Jocephus in the chin, and follows up by irish whipping Jocephus to a corner. Bennett runs towards him and hits a Stinger's Splash! Jocephus is groggy, and Bennett rushes to the opposite side of the ring, another Stinger's Splash! As Tim Storm applauses, Anthony Bennett grabs Jocephus, he goes for a running bulldog... But Jocephus just pushes him away, sending him face first into the opposite corner. What a start to this match.

Jocephus has taken some shots, but the flabby heavyweight comes back with forearms to the head of his opponent. Anthony Bennett has to be in constant movement if he wants to avoid the monolithic offense from Jocephus. He gets trapped in the corner and Jocephus hits him with forearms and headbutts, as Tim Storm shouts him to "GET OUT OF THE WAY" from ringside. Jocephus gets reprimanded by the ref for hitting Bennett in the corner and backs off. This allows Bennett a quick moment to breathe... But Jocephus hits him with an elbow to the face!

As the ref forces Jocephus to back off, he turns his back to Anthony Bennett who's sitting down in the corner to regroup. What's where JR Kratos enters the fray. From the outside of the ring, he punches Anthony Bennett throught the ropes and straight in the mouth! Tim Storm has seen enough, he goes to the behemoth... And punches him in the face! The two men are brawling, and Anthony Bennett gets back up, even though he's still a little bit dazed.

Jocephus still has the ref distracted, arguging with him.

What's when someone with a hood on runs from the back and goes to the top rope... FLYING SPINNING WHEEL KICK TO THE BACK OF ANTHONY BENNETT'S HEAD! The man scurries away as Jocephus pushes the ref to the sid and picks Anthony Bennett up, PILEDRIVER! That's it, he's done.

    WINNER: JOCEPHUS

    2QeprzN.jpghBjlQg1.jpg

As Tim Storm is checking on a fallen Anthony Bennett in the ring, Jocephus slowly makes his way back up the ramp, having made his first defence of the TV title. He's followed by JR Kratos and the man in the hood who helped him win... But who's that man? JR Kratos gives his Leader a microphone, and Jocephus stands in the middle of the ramp.

    b6pcv9A.jpg

"You made the right choice, my son. You were lost, and I offered you guidance. You were alone, and I offered you a family. You were broken, but I didn't fix you. I SHOWED you how to fix yourself. How to use your pain and suffering to repair yourself. You made the right choice. Now remove that hood and unveil your face to the world. Make your allegiance known.

Welcome to the Kingdom of Jocephus my son..."

    4. NWA National Heavyweight Championship Match: Trevor Murdock © vs. The Pope /w. Famous B & Marti Belle

Weeks and months of anticipation built this match. It all started when The Pope stated that Trevor Murdock wasn't fitting as the National Champion because he didn't represent the Nation. It started a conflict that further escalated on NWA Powerrr Surge, when Pope made a plea to win this championship and represent all those who weren't in the nation, all of the minorities. Murdock, meanwhile, seemed embarrassed by all this political talk about race, representativity and oppression. He stated that he was a simple man, that he was intelligent or articulated enough to speak about those term. What he is though is a fghting man who stands for every blue collar american, whatever is origin.

Tonight, they fight off for the NWA National Heavyweight Championship. A title that represents the United Stated, and a title Pope has sworn he will wear to cement himself as the "Nation's Champion" in order to represent all of the minorities. This title that was worn by Jack Briscoe, Ted Dibiase, Ron Garvin, Wahoo McDaniels and Nikita Koloff is now in the middle of an ideological war...

    ... and a physical one.

Because as soon as Murdock put down his trucket cap and his cowbell ; as soon as Pope gives Famous B his sunglasses and coat ; as soon as the bell rings... It gets REAL.

Pope sizes up Murdock in a boxing stance, whereas Murdock adopts an almost amateur wrestling stance with his knee bent and his center of gravity low. Murdock tries to catch Pope but gets decked with two straight jabs and Pope slides to the side to hit him with a right hook accross the face. As Murdock backs off a little, Pope lifts his hands in celebration.

The match is totally open. Murdock demonstrates a brute strength and unwillingness to go down that is matched by Pope's innovative offense and hard striking. The opposition is centered around Murdock trying to hit his Western Texas Lariat. On commentary, Samoa Joe explains that Murdock has molded his wrestling style after Stan Hansen and that - like Stan the Man - his Lariat means DEATH. Murdock is confident that if he can hit him, he will secure the win. But Pope is agile and smooth, remind us of a wrestling Floyd Mayweather in his footwoork and head movements. He dodges three Western Texas Lariat, including one from close range that he BARELY sees coming.

Murdock gets more and more frustrated but stick to his plan. He weakens Pope with strong strikes and some occasionnal powermoves like a bodyslam, and tries to take momentum in order to hit his Lariat. On the other hand Pope, under the encouragements of Marti Belle and Famous B ringside, is all about the long game. He hits Murdock then backs off, stinging him like a bee then escaping his wrath. He wants to stay mobile and run circles around Murdock.

In the end, it seems to be paying off, as Murdock is visibly tiring after fourteen minutes of non-stop action. Pope has him cornered and delivers a serie of uppercut to the gut. He then goes to the opposite corner and lowers his knee pads, he runs for his DDE, but Murdock escapes! Pope, very agile for his age, manages to recover and lands on the second rope. He sees Murdock behind him and goes for a jumping back elbow... But Murdock catches him! The Redneck goes for a German Suplex, but Pope lands on his feet! What a recovery artist! Murdock gets back up but Pope runs to the ropes... Jumping Knee to the face! Without the knee pad! Murdock is hurt, he stumbles to the ropes, rebound on them and... REBOUND LARIAT! OUT OF NOWHERE! Pope is upside down and Murdock slowly puts him on his back to make the pin.

    One,

Ringside, Famous B is screaming something,

    TWO,

Wait, is Pope's foot under the rope?

    THREE!

WINNER AND STILL NWA NATIONAL HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: TREVOR MURDOCK

    cfUfkTi.jpgG8aXyn4.jpg

As the bell rings, Famous B pushes the time keeper away and snatches the NWA National Heavyweight Championship belt. Famous B get a microphone and gets into the ring with the belt in the hand, facing a tired Trevor Murdock, while Marti Belle checks on The Pope.

"TREVOR MURDOCK!... As a lawyer, I must say this is the most OUTRAGEOUS, ILLEGAL ROBBERY I HAVE EVER SEEN! Pope's foot was under the rope! HE WAS UNDER THE ROOOPE! Ref!... Where is he... Ref! You made a wrong call!... I issue a coach challenge!... What do you mean this isn't the NBA?"

Trevor Murdock angrily snatches the microphone out of Famous B's hand and speaks while still catching his breath back.

"Listen... I'm not a ref... I'm not an official... I got here and I fought. I didn't cheat, I played it fair and square... As far as I'm concerned, ref's call is final... I'll replay the match and if there's fool play, I'll gladly give Pope a rematch... But for now... GIVE ME MY DAMN CHAMPIONSHIP!"

There's a floating moment where Famous B clearly doesn't want to hand out the belt, but is scared of Murdock. Meanwhile, ringside, a semi-conscious Pope's motioning towards the back...

    cPhgFAK.jpgHq6v58B.jpg

That's Terrence and Terrell, Pope's protege! The twins get into the ring, still in wrestling gear after their participation in the battle royal early on. Their chests bump into Murdock's back who turns around. That's when Famous B get the mic back and says that Pope was STOLEN out of this championship... So he's keeping it. As Murdock turns around to go after Famous B, Terrel & Terrence, TNT, attack him. They make quick work of the Redneck who's left beaten down.

While Murdock is still the champ, it's Pope who walks out with the belt, that Famous B wraps around his waist. Helped by TNT, a tired, beaten down Pope still walks out on his own two feet, with his Congregation helping him and a stolen belt around his waist.

Meanwhile, The Redneck is left laying down in the middle of the ring, alone and beaten.

    A cage...

    It can grant us protection.

We can surround ourselves with barbaric steel fences to prevent the outsider from invading our ground.

    It can grant us control.

We lock animals inside cages to subject and tame them.

    It gives us power.

A leader can put his opponents in jail and throw away the key, solidying his rule.

    ...

But cages are above all else a symbol or violence.

When we protect ourselves from the outer world with a cage, it's to prevent the external violence to come at us. When we lock animals inside a cage, it's to stop them from killing us. When we use cages as a mean of oppression, it's an usage of violence.

Tonight, the cage won't protect Doug Williams and Thomas Latimer from the violence that Gzim Selmani and Sunny Dhinsa will inflict on them.

Tonight, Strictly Business won't be able to subject my team of destruction.

Tonight, Occam's Razor will exerts his full power upon their opposition.

TONIGHT... My Razor will cut Strictly Business' throat.

    5. Cage Match for the NWA World Tag Team Championship: Strictly Business © vs. Occam's Razor

Two teams are locked inside a steel cage. On commentary, David Marquez reminds us that they are only two ways to win: both members of a team can escape the cage, or a team can beat another via pinfall or submission like in a regular tag team match. What is not regular is that everything is legal, that there is not tag and that the cage can and will be used as a weapon.

On Episode 36 back in February, those two teams collided for the gold, but Strictly Business used Kamille to get an intentionnal disqualification, throwing the match out but keeping the belts. Tonight, they won't be able to cheat in order to keep the championship. Samoa Joe, our new analyst on commentary, ponders on the teams strategies here. To him, it's clear that the challengers are gonna go after their opponents' throats and try to beat them in the cage. Joe mentions that he knows Doug Williams very well and knows his intelligence, he wonders what the Ambassador is gonna come up with, but is dead sure that he's gonna want to escape the cage with his partner. Joe Galli mentions that if only Williams escaped, the match will still go on, and "The Wildcard" will be left to face a 2 on 1 affair.

The bell rings and, as Joe predicts, Gzim & Sunny go forward. They walk firmly towards their opponents, and a brawl ensue. Latimer matches Gzim Selmani in brute strength, but the smaller framed Doug Williams gets thrown to the ground by Sunny Dhinsa's superior size and judo's abilities. Occam Razor then try to double team Thomas Latimer and irish whip him FACE FIRST IN THE CAGE! Latimer doesn't bleed, so Gzim & Sunny decide to throw him again! And within the first minute of the match, Latimer's forehead is already opened.

That's when Doug Williams, ever the sneaky veteran, crawls in the back of his opponents and hits stero low blows on them! As the gargantuan duo of challengers fall to their knee, Williams taps his temple with his finger and shows a gnarky smile. Once again, he shows he's the brain.

This first minute gives us the anatomy of the match. Occam's Razor want to beat their opponent and often dominates them. Doug Williams is always the first to go down, as the Wildcard matches OR's strenght but is progressively overwhelmed by them. While they're busy overwhelming Latimer, OR's often forget Doug Williams who comes back with a sneak attack or who tries to climb up the wall of the cage. Each time, this gives him a slight advantage, but Selmani & Dhinsa are quick to take back the edge in the match.

Williams can't escape with the door, which is guarded by Paul Ellering on the outside, who has a walking cane that he's threatening to hit Williams with. That's why Doug Williams goes for the climb, and that's how, on his third attempts, he gets caught by his opponents who hit him with a double powerbomb that shatters him to the ground and almost cost him the match, thanks to a Latimer save on the pinfall attempt.

Latimer is bleeding and soon covered with a crimson mask, but Selmani is also bleeding towards the end of the match. Why? Because Doug Williams, seeing this isn't going well for his team, uses his ace up his sleeves: he produces a brassknuckle from his boot! Using it, he punches Selmani again and again until he bleeds from the forehead. Strictly Business tries to capitalize and escape. They're near the top of the cage... But in an impressive move, Sunny Dhinsa throws HIMSELF to the cage's wall! The wall shakes, and Latimer & Williams fall back into the ring from near the top of the cage.

The four men are down after this awesome save from Dhinsa, and they slowly get back up. We get a double staredown, and we know this is nearing the end. They go at each other with everything they have, Doug Williams armed with the brassknuckle. He puts Dhinsa down on one knee while Latimer does the same via low blow. Latimer goes to the rope for a curb stomp... But gets caught by Dhinsa... POP UP POWERBOMB! Doug Williams is stunned, he runs at Dhinsa, but gets caught. Occam's Razor hit him with a double powerbomb! They pin him! WE HAVE NEW CHAMPIONS!

WINNERS AND NEW NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: OCCAM'S RAZOR

We have new tag team champions! The show close as Paul Ellering join his boys and give them the belts. The three men embrace at the middle of the ring as confetti rains on them. The commentators wishes us good night, tommorrow is night 2 of this Pay Per View spectacular!

  12. Really love the slow build approach to Funk/Dreamer, it's refreshing to not be rushing this one. We can really feel Tommy's internal emotional struggle. That's brillant storytelling. When Dreamer finally breaks free from his emotions and kick the sh*t out of Funk this will be a HUGE moment

The dynamic between Raven & Jake is also mad interesting

Keep up the good work my friend!

  14. Brooo that was cool!

I think we anticipated the SCHAFF/Dickinson, but predictable isn't a bad thing when it's the conclusion of a logical, well thought angle

Like the casting for "Pretty Boy", but pretty surprised/a little disappointed by Ricardo Rodriguez as Agent J... But I think you will quickly change my mind on him

I wonder if that Steiners angle will lead to one more match for Scott?... That's interesting

Pumped up for the mini season finale!

That's why Tex & Falling_Star are tied at #1, with Dustin, having an almost perfect record but only 13 total possible points, being #2

I will use a random coin flip to determine who between Tex & Falling Star gets the 1st Prize and the 2nd, and DM all 3 of you with your prizes

Welcome everyone to the LAST NWA Powerrr episode before the two nights Pay Per View Extravaganza that is going to be the Pop Up Event this week end! The two men who will fight for wrestling's richest prize at the Pay Per View face each other's allies, as #1 challenger Jay Briscoe will battle Nick Aldis' mentor Doug Wiliams, and NWA World Heavyweight Champion "the National Treasure" will main event against Jay's brother Mark Briscoe. Also tonight, a huge six women tag team match with much implications for the future of the division!

But this is Studio Wrestling, so you know how it works. This episode first interview slot is on, and Sean Mooney's guest is none other than former NWA World Television Champion Anthony Bennett.

    tmocOOD.jpg2QeprzN.jpg

The usually happy-go-lucky Anthony Bennett has a preoccupied face tonight. Sean Mooney asks him what's on his mind after losing the TV championship to the returning Jocephus last week in a brutal manner. Bennett stays silent for a while. He says it hurts. Of course it hurts. This TV title MADE him. The championship made the wrestler, he made his name. Before NWA Powerrr, he was a virtual nobody. Now he has his own merch, people line up at his autograph table during conventions... And that's thanks to this run as the NWA Television Champion! But what hurts the most is that he was that close, THAT CLOSE!... Had he win against Jocephus, he would have completed seven successful title defense. The Lucky Seven! If he had beat Jocephus, he would have vacate the TV title in exchange for a World title match... And this was his goal. Of course, he loves wrestling here in the studio for the fans, but don't let his jive and his smile fool you: he's here for the gold. He's here to be the best, like everybody in the back! The goal will always be being the top guy, being the world champion.

Mooney asks what are his plans now. Anthony Bennett says that the best path to the world title still is the Lucky Seven Rule and the TV title... That's why he's looking forward his title rematch, on night one of the Pop Up Event! He WILL battle Jocephus, and this time he will beat him. Mooney questions him about his confidence: after the beating he took isn't he... Afraid of Jocephus? Bennett finally smiles, he ain't afraid of nobody! Why should he be afraid of Jocephus? Because he's a big B Movie baddie?

    hBjlQg1.jpg

It's Tim Storm! The now member of the NWA Championship Committee makes his way to a huge crowd reaction. Wearing a brown suit, he shakes Sean Mooney's hand. Tim Storm is out there to talk to Anthony Bennett and tell him one thing... He should be afraid of Jocephus. Storm reminds us of the brutal rivalry he had with the leader of the Kingdom of Jocephus. He talks about the Empty Arena Match, the mind games, the brutality... And he says although Jocephus didn't beat him, he broke things in him that never truly repaired... Jocephus is a powerful man. Not as much physically as mentally. He breaks you down, "here" says Tim Storm, pointing Anthony Bennett's forehead with his finger. The former TV champ says he can't give up. He WILL fight, because that's what his momma told him, and Mamma Storm's baby boy MUST understand that. Tim Storm smiles, and says he came here to warn him, but he knew that would be the answer... So he came here for something else: he came here to offer Anthony Bennett something... He wants to be in his corner for the rematch! Storm says no one knows Jocephus better than him, so he'll give him precious advices. Anthony Bennett rejoices, and offers Storm a fist bump at the same time Tim offer's a handshake. The two men laugh, and Storm fist bumps Anthony Bennett.

    1. Jay Briscoe vs. Doug Williams /w. Thomas Latimer

As Doug Williams comes out with the other half of the NWA World Tag Team champions Thomas Latimer, Jay Briscoes comes out without his brother Mark. In fact, he comes without a real proper entrance, as he rushes the ring and goes straight to Doug Williams! He throws the first punches as the bell rings, and his game plan is really clear: he wants to overwhelm his opponent with non-stop offense.

The brutality and ferocity of Jay Briscoe puts him in the driver's seat, but Doug Williams isn't the "brain" of Strictly Business for nothing. Always slimmy and sneaky, he jumps at the occasion when Jay Briscoe gets distracted into a shouting contest with Latimer on the outside of the ring. Williams pushes Jay into the ref and hits him with a low blow. The ref is dizzy but not knocked out, and he counts as Doug Williams rolls Jay Briscoe up. This might alreayd be over! One, two, Jay Briscoe kicks out!

Using this unfair advantage, Doug Williams goes on to dictate the pace of the rest of the match. He tries to keep Jay Briscoe down, violently stomping his hands and ankles. The goal seems clear: he wants to incapacitate Briscoe as much as he can before his match against Williams' protege, friend and Strictly Business' leader Nick Aldis this week end. Jay Briscoe tries to get up, sometimes almost doing it, but Doug Williams is a real snake. He twists his ear behind the ref's back, he stomps his fingers, and he even racks his backs with his nails, leaving a trail of red marks on the redneck's back!

Williams shows all his devious ways, but the more Jay Briscoe gets angry, the less he can be kept down. Jay gets up on one knee and catches Doug Williams' incoming soccer kick! He gets up and htis a dragon screw to put Williams down. It's then a huge beatdown, concluded with a Jay Driller.

    WINNER: JAY BRISCOE

    cbalLBh.jpgmdjzfyi.jpguqo3oSS.jpg

We are now well aware of Strictly Business' pack of wolves mentality. As soon as the bell rings, Thomas Latimer jumps into the ring and beats Jay Briscoe down. The Wildcard aims at pursuying Doug Williams' goal: hurting Jay Briscoe as much as possible before his title match on Sunday against Nick Aldis. As Joe Galli notes that Mark Briscoe might run at any moment to save his brother, salvation comes from someone else...

    dQgcYKB.jpgJdvb1OI.jpg

Gzim Selmani and Sunny Dhinsa, collectively known as Occam's Razor and the challengers for the NWA World Tag Team Championship run to the ring. Thomas Latimer appears to be willing to fight them, but Doug Williams advises him to leave the ring, and the champions run away. Doug Williams goes to the interviewer desk, near the entrance of the studio, and takes the microphone.

"It doesn't matter, than on saturday we will be defending our championship against you two in a cage match. You know why? Because even locked up inside a cage with two gorillas, i'm still the smartest man in the room. I will find a way for us to retain these belts, by any means necessary. See you on saturday, punks."

Backstages, last week after the show...

    mUTC7W2.jpgb6pcv9A.jpg

After the show last week, we see that Jocephus - wearing the NWA TV Championship belt on the shoulder - approaches Mike Bennett. In his gravy voice, he tells him that he saw him and his struggles. Jocephus says that there is fog in Mike Bennett's mind. He's been poisoned by Nick Aldis, by his wife and by the fans, but Jocephus can clear his mind. He offers him to Join the Kingdom of Jocephus, and finds a new purpose and a new clarity to life. Bennett says that sounds tempting, BUT, he is coming for the TV Championship, in fact at the Pop Up Event, he'll compete in the 10 men battle royal to declare a #1 challenger. Jocephus answers that he doesn't intend on keeping this belt for too long, as he just is gonna use it as a stepping stone to a world title match. He offers Mike Bennett to think about it, and says that with the right spiritual counsels, he could become what he always should have been: a wrestling prodigy. He just needs the right mindset...

Jocephus leaves the locker room, as Mike Bennett seems thoughtful.

In a pre-recorded promo, The Pope is seen at his Congregation. The video shows him distributing meals to the poors at his Congregation, and giving sermons at what seems to be a church, but doesn't show any cross or religious sign.

The Pope talks about fighting for the people, and wanting to be the People's Champ, the National champion. He says he has the chance of a lifetime at the Pop Up Event against Trevor Murdock, and he will make good on it. After criticizing Trevor Murdock's way of life and the "rednecks down south that oppressed us", The Pope promises that he will win the NWA National Heavyweight Championship.

Marti Belle, Kamille & Vipress vs. Allysin Kay, Serena Deeb & Holidead

    This match is heavily story-driven.

Marti Belle and Allysin Kay were once friends, and Allysin Kay came out last week to claim that Marti Belle's recent hot streak didn't impress her, and that she still was her "lil' sis", challenging her. This translates into the match, as Marti Belle wants to prove herself against Kay, but repeatedly getting one-upped by the taller, stronger and more experienced Allysin Kay.

Kamille will be challenging for Serena Deeb's NWA Women's World Championship this week end, for Serena Deeb's first title defense. The story is that Kamille already pinned Serena Deeb twice in tag team competition, and she clearly wants to repeat that feat tonight as she blind tags her partners each and every time Serena Deeb enters the fray.

And last but not least, the Serpent of Evil Vipress has been targetted by Vipress ever since she attacked and injured her Twisted Sister Thunder Rosa. As the two begins the match one on one, David Marquez on commentary announces us that a match has been signed and that the two will face each other on the Pop Up Event in night 1!

The match is fairly competitive, and all of the above mentioned stories are intertwinded: Marti Belle tries to flash pin the champion Serena Deeb multiple time, knowing it will earn her a title shot. We also have Allysin Kay and Serena Deeb getting into several arguments, as Allysin Kay reminds her that she's a former women champion and the tension being high.

In the end, this miscommunication causes Allysin Kay to miss a beat, and she doesn't see a Kamille's spear coming her way. She gets flatten out and pinned.

WINNERS: MARTI BELLE, KAMILLE & VIPRESS

    VrGWa9X.jpgWyJbqS2.jpgEOWONlk.jpg

    EC3QDuP.jpgp7zDOhx.jpgw5fX4gE.jpg

As you may guess, post match is total chaos.

Marti Belle taunts a down Allysin Kay and takes a microphone. She tells her she has grown out of her shadow and she will prove it this weekend: she accepts her challenge! She will face her at the Pop Up Event!

As Marti Belle gloats, Holidead is approaching Vipress ringside. The Serpent of Evil runs away... Or rather walk backwards away, with her cold, emotionless face staring at Holidead who shows an evil smile.

Meanwhile, in the ring, Kamille grabs the microphone from Marti Belle's hands with a menacing looks, and Marti Belle backs up. Kamille calls out Serena Deeb, she says she didn't pin her a third time tonight, but that will happen this week end, and she will snatch the Women's championship away from her. Serena Deeb slides into the ring, and there's clearly a will to fight, as Kamille invites her to make the first move. Finally, it's Kamille who rushes at Deeb, but the 15 years veteran dodges her, grabs her arm, drags her down... KIMURA LOCK! Serena Deeb bends Kamille's arm backwards as her challenger scream in pain and taps out. Serena Deeb finally lets her go and lifts her championship belt up high.

In a pre-recorded interview, Eli Drake announces that he will face Rush at the NWA Pop Up Event on Night 2! Unfortunately, this won't be for the Ring Of Honor World Championship, as ROH refuses to sanction a title match outside of their promotion. But that doesn't matter to Eli Drake. The only title he wants is the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. And once he beat Rush, he will be undeniable. Once he has Rush pinned for a three count, the NWA Championship Committee won't be able to LIE to him anymore. He will be the rightfull #1 contender... And that's the TRUTH.

    3. Nick Aldis vs. Mark Briscoe

Nick Aldis comes out in this match with a focus. He wants to end this quickly, in order to minimize his chance of getting injured before his big title defense this sunday. He faces his challenger's brother, who doesn't seem as determined to hurt him as Strictly Business was with Jay Briscoe.

Mark brings a lot of intensity, but he still goofs around a little, with his kung-fu poses and even a cartwheel. Nick Aldis, on the other hand, only hits big moves, like a backdrop driver that almost gives him a three count. He's dead focus on ending the match quickly and only goes for potential match-ender.

Mark Briscoe still kicks out, so Nick Aldis changes his strategy. Rather than hitting big moves in order to KO Mark Briscoe, he goes at his legs, and tries to submit him. He puts on a heel hook, but Mark grabs the rope. Nick Aldis grows a little upset, and Mark Briscoe hits him with a crane kick! Aldis is dazzled, and Mark goes to the top rope. He jumps!... But Aldis grabs him with a double leg takedown in mid air, and puts on a Figure Four! The Figure Four Leglock is ON, and Aldis squeezes and squeezes, and Mark Briscoe is forced to tap.

    WINNER: NICK ALDIS

    NMjJ0DR.jpg

"As often, I, the National Treasure Nick Aldis, will be the last image you see on an episode of NWA Powerrr. Next time you tune in on Youtube, I swear that I will still be here, and still be the NWA World Heavyweight Champion.

I am the Franchise of the NWA, and I will continue to uphold the legacy of the Ten Pounds of Gold.

You know who you won't see anymore on NWA Powerrr?

    Those damn Briscoe Brothers.

Because the NWA Board have added a stipulation to my title match. WHEN, and not IF, I beat Jay Briscoe, HE and his doofus brother will be BAN FOR THE NWA FOREVER!

I will get rid of this insult to professional wrestling and continue my quest to restore prestige to the sport of pro wrestling."
