  7. STARDOM Winter Warfare 2023 Saturday Week 4 October 2023 Attendance: 17,000 People in Tohoku Pre-show Match: Brittany Bryant & Momo Kohgo vs. Cosmic Angels – Delicious (Mina Shirakawa & Unagi Sayaka) Comic Angels – Delicious [Mina Shirakawa (47) & Unagi Sayaka (44)] defeated Momo Kohgo (38) and Brittany Bryant (31) in 7:46 when Unagi Sayaka submitted Brittany Bryant with a Gory Special (44). Opening Match: Queen's Quest (Saya Kamitani & Miyu Amasaki) vs. Oedo Tai - Devil Duo [Saki Kashima & Natsuko Tora] Pre-Match Promos: Queen's Quest: Miyu still can’t promise some high flying drama, but can assure Saya that she will give her all tonight. Oedo Tai: Saki is worried about her friend since Starlight fully took over, but she can’t seem to focus or talk to Natsuko like she used to. Match Overview: Miyu hesitating on the top rope was the difference maker in this one, with the Devil Duo able to squeak out the victory. Saki showed concern for her friend throughout the match, visibly upset at Tora’s losing battle to Starlight Kid’s darkness. Oedo Tai - Devil Duo [Saki Kashima (59) & Natsuko Tora (58)] defeated Queen’s Quest [Saya Kamitani (63) and Miyu Amasaki (46)] in 11:48 when Natsuko Tora pinned Miyu Amasaki with a Marici (65). Match 2 Match 2: Oedo Tai (Momo Watanabe & Ruaka) vs. ALFA (Thekla & MIRAI) Pre-Match Promos: Oedo Tai: Momo doesn’t really get proper responses from Ruaka, but as long as Ruaka keeps on winning, she doesn’t really care about her outside of the ring ALFA: Thekla & MIRAI look prepared for a fight tonight as they look to prove themselves once again. Match Overview: Seeing Ruaka dominate the early goings inspired Momo to deliver her kicks with extra intensity, giving ALFA no choice then to attempt to come from behind, which ultimately they failed to do so. Oedo Tai [Momo Watanabe (65) and Ruaka (35)] defeated ALFA [Thekla (44) and MIRAI (40)] in 10:58 when Ruaka pinned MIRAI with a Complete Shot (50). Match 3: STARS (Hazuki, Koguma, Saya Iida & Hanan) vs. Vermillion World (Syuri, Maika, Himeka & Yui Inihara) Pre-Match Promos: STARS: STARS look tired as they awkwardly can’t decide who will lead the promo. Hanan eventually steps up, promising change for the faction once they consistently start delivering in these multiperson lower card ppv matches. Vermillion World: The Artists champs are impressed with Yui’s character development in training as hard as they do. Assurances of their standards being maintained tonight are shared by all. Match Overview: A clear breakdown in communication within FWC overshadows the resilient improvement in Wing Gori. However, Vermillion World operate like a well-oiled machine, with their rookie newgen Yui holding her own next to the artist of STARDOM champions, allowing Vermillion World to pick up the win, interestingly over Koguma rather then a less experienced STARS stable mate… Vermillion World [Syuri (72), Himeka (62), Maika (67) and Yui Inihara (29)] defeated STARS [Hazuki (67), Koguma (53), Saya Iida (48) and Hanan (37)] in 15:48 when Maika pinned Koguma with a Michinoku Driver II (61). Match 4: SWA Title Match – 3rd Defence: Challenger Skye Blue vs 10th Champion Natsupoi (c) Pre-Match Promos: Skye Blue: Keen to prove everyone wrong, Skye asks everyone to pay attention to her Natsupoi: Natsupoi seems distracted but attempts to hype herself up before assuring fans of another Poi-fect display Match Overview: The crowd could visibly see the frustration grow in the champions offence, as Skye Blue was able to provide a much tougher challenge then anyone expected! Some brutal kicks almost gave Blue the surprise victory! However, the resilient Natsupoi recovers well from offensive move, ensuring that she has just enough energy to get to the top rope, to ensure another successful defence Natsupoi defeated Skye Blue in 14:33 by pinfall with a Fairial Gift. Natsupoi makes defence number three of the SWA Undisputed World Women's title (60). Match 5: Goddesses of STARDOM Title Match – 4th Defence: Challenger Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano & Maya Yukihi) vs 24th Champion ALFA (Giulia & Suzu Suzuki) (c) Pre-Match Promos: Cosmic Angels: Tam is excited for this opportunity, as this could springboard Cosmic Angels back into the STARDOM Stratosphere, which Maya breaks to laugh and pat her head ALFA: ALFA consider how best to display all of the titles in STARDOM, as they know Giulia will stand on top of the company at the end of the year. Giulia’s disgusted at Tam challenging their titles is obvious. Match Overview: Giulia refuses to shake hands compared to the other 3 competitors. Once Giulia sees Tam volunteer to start the match, she then turns her nose up and steps out of the ring allowing Suzuki to start the match. We do see the highlights from all four competitors including a slap exchange between Tam & Giulia after they finally connect. Ultimately Giulia’s choice to let Suzu pick up the majority of the match costs ALFA due to Suzu being unable to kick out of Tam’s Twilight Dream. Giulia had plenty of time to jump in and break up the cover but as is the ALFA way, she entrusted Suzu to power out herself, costing them their titles. Cosmic Angels [Tam Nakano (73) and Maya Yukihi (62)] defeated ALFA [Giulia (66) & Suzu Suzuki (67)] in 24:11 when Tam Nakano pinned Suzu Suzuki with a Twilight Dream. Tam Nakano and Maya Yukihi win the Goddesses of Stardom titles (74). Angle: Tam celebrates with Yukihi! Tam makes a couple of attempts to name the tag team which clearly does not meet Maya’s satisfaction (“Super Dream” & “Ice Creams” earning chuckles from the crowd) before announcing to the crowd that they will agree a new Tag team name very shortly! ALFA sulk to the back on their own two feet, bemoaning the loss of their titles (63) Semi Main: Wonder of STARDOM Number 1 Contendership - Ladder Match: AZM vs Starlight Kid Pre-Match Promos: AZM: AZM needs to win this opportunity, as she has been watching Starlight Kid & Io Shirai from afar, for completely different reasons. Starlight Kid: Kid can’t think of a reason why she won’t win tonight, with her two supports by her side, a white belt match in her future is all but assured. Match Overview: AZM, in a special white with purple trim attire, is flanked by Saya Kamitani & Miyu Amasaki as her two supports, can only wait to be met by the Dark Sky Tiger flanked by her two almost zombified supports in Ruaka & Natsuko Tora. A frantic affair where both wrestlers were able to demonstrate their Great chemistry, with the ladders around the ring only enhancing the damage they could inflict onto each other. Towards the end of the match a ref bump causes chaos to break out! As Tora levels AZM with a clothesline, Ruaka chases Miyu & Saya up the ladder on the outside of the ring. Starlight orders Ruaka to guard the ladder keeping an eye on the two QQ supports, alongside ordering Tora to the announce desk on the opposite side of the ring to collect the second mask, to put on AZM. As Tora walks purposely and puts her hand on the mask, Kamitani leaps off the top of the ladder wiping out herself & Ruaka. This leaves Miyu to watch an oblivious Tora stride purposely back to Starlight, intent on putting it on AZM then winning the contract. Knowing she only has one shot at saving this match, Miyu steadies herself taking a shaky breath in before performing a twisting high angled frog splash which wipes out both Starlight & Tora. This seems to wipe out Starlight and stun Tora enough for AZM to scratch and claw her way up to the top of the ladder in the ring, becoming the new number one contender! AZM (71) defeated Starlight Kid (66) in a Ladder match in 22:50 when AZM retrieved the contract. AZM is the new number 1 contender to the Wonder of STARDOM Title (75). Angle: AZM Wins! She embraces Miyu & Saya as she claims victory in this latest clash between her & Kid. Starlight is carried out by Tora & Ruaka (56). Main Event: KAIRI vs Io Shirai vs Mayu Iwatani Pre-Match Promos: KAIRI: KAIRI was impressed with her factions gutsy performances tonight, she promises to represent them and Queen’s Quest with pride, as their leader. Io Shirai: Io is intrigued with this match up, as she wants to see Mayu’s development up close and personal, alongside see how her approved Queen’s Quest leader in KAIRI steps up to the big stage. Mayu Iwatani: Mayu is focussed and ready for this match, thanks to Hazuki lending her some hair ties and Hanan supporting her by bringing her red belt. Match Overview: The slow built nature to this one helped the crowd to decompress after the last high drama affair but also get fully invested in this absolute masterclass in joshi puroresu. With a finisher spam middle leading to nail biting near falls, it was clear that despite the lack of belts being on the line, the victory in this main event match had a deep meaning to each competitor. The two one pairings that occurred throughout the match between each combination of the trio did tease the fans yearning for even a possibility of a reunion for the trio but ultimately Mayu was able to best withstand the pressure, fighting through the pain from underneath to rock Io with a drop kick, then dodge the KAIRI attack to hit a desperation Superkick followed by the iconic Moonsault to collect the three count. Mayu Iwatani (83) defeated KAIRI (81) and Io Shirai (76) in 28:02 when Mayu Iwatani pinned KAIRI with a Moonsault (80). Show Closing Angle: Mayu closes the show by promising, as the Icon, to continue to lead STARDOM into the future. Any hopes of a Threedom reciliation are thwarted as KAIRI & Io roll out of either side of the ring, leaving Mayu to sign us off (68). Show Grade: 79 Show Notes - Looking to expand the season finale with some non title singles matches, interested in anyone’s thoughts but I do have a couple of ideas! - Interested to hear what you thought of the AZM vs Kid match, given the overbooked nature and finish potentially taking the attention off the two wrestlers in the match, but hopefully it made sense and was a nice story, as I’ve had it in the back of my head for ages now aha! - Also any team names for Tam Nakano & Maya Yukihi I would really appreciate. Granted I haven’t been able to build their characters due to the format of the diary, but something to do with Ice, Snow or something that touches on Tam trying to act cool next to someone she respects but the dorky cuteness always bubbles over, would be awesome to hear! - A strong show as shown below, with us now ramping up the build for the year end climax show!
  8. Thank you all for predicting, I hope you're enjoying this as we are leading into the last 2 weeks of the diary! STARDOM Winter Warfare 2023 Preview Saturday Week 4 October 2023 Main Event: KAIRI vs. Io Shirai vs. Mayu Iwatani Match Preview: In our main event, KAIRI, Io Shirai & Mayu Iwatani face off in a non-title thriple threat match. The former “Threedom” having a dream match is something STARDOM fans can only dream about, as all 3 ladies are all former or current World & Wonder of STARDOM champions, who have each helped to build STARDOM into what it is today. Semi Main: AZM vs. Starlight Kid Match Preview: AZM takes on Starlight Kid once again, this time in a ladder match for the right to face Io Shirai for the Wonder of STARDOM. With a guaranteed singles match at the season finale on the line, both wrestlers will be giving it their all! AZM especially will be needing to keep her head on a swivel due to Starlight’s dominating insurance policies in Tora & Ruaka! Match 5: Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano & Maya Yukihi) vs ALFA (Giulia & Suzu Suzuki) (c) Match Preview: The Goddesses of STARDOM Titles are defended against Cosmic Angels, as ALFA’s Suzu Suzuki & Giulia defend against Tam Nakano & Maya Yuhiki. Whilst Giulia & Tam have lagely stayed apart this year, they always seem to find their way back to each other, in what could easily steal the show. Match 4: Skye Blue vs. Natsupoi (c) Match Preview: Natsupoi defends her SWA Title against Skye Blue in what could be her 3rd defence. Skye will look to make the most of the opportunity to showcase her progression since arriving on excursion from AEW but Natsupoi has been phenomenal for STARDOM recently, going into this defence the heavy favourite. Match 3: STARS (Hazuki, Koguma, Saya Iida & Hanan) vs. Vermillion World (Syuri, Maika, Himeka & Yui Inihara) Match Preview: Big 8 woman tag sees STARS take on Vermillion World, in which only FWC’s lack of close relationship and Vermillion Worlds recovery after losing the artist belts being the only half stories to progress. Match 2: Oedo Tai (Momo Watanabe & Ruaka) vs. ALFA (Thekla & MIRAI) Match Preview: ALFA face Oedo Tai, as neither side can afford a loss, with arguably all 4 wrestlers needing some momentum to kick them on towards the final stretch of the diary. Opening Match: Queen's Quest (Saya Kamitani & Miyu Amasaki) vs. Oedo Tai - Devil Duo [Saki Kashima & Natsuko Tora] Match Preview: Will Saya finally convince Miyu to fly? Show Grade: 74 Show Notes - Mayu & Skye Blue don’t work well as a team, hence the low rating - So excited for the ladder match, as AZM & Starlight wrestle anyway every year, so this was in the back of my head at the start of the year! Facing Io Shirai for the white belt at the Year End Climax is a huge match too!
  14. Memories – An AZM Character Focus p2 We see Queen’s Quest laying out on sunlounges, on a private beach, rented out by their leader KAIRI. Saya is still trying to convince Miyu to be more adventurous, this time pointing to a pier in the distance, that would be a “fun” place to be diving into the ocean, As Miyu reluctantly follows her, again looking for support from her other two faction mates, who seem preoccupied, AZM is left to catch up with their leader. “Aren’t you nervous?” AZM asks “About what, ohh of course imagine if I miss hitting the watermelon!” KAIRI jokes. “I’m talking about Io’s return, leading the faction or frankly anything at the moment” the fierce rebuttal is returned. “Woah relax, your time will come … I’m ready for my white belt shot, in life you shouldn’t sweat and worry about the small stuff” AZM packs up turning around to remark “I miss the time when Io was in charge” Leaving a justifiably miffed KAIRI to ponder her partners words

Show Closing Promo: An unhappy AZM escapes with KAIRI, as an uneasy partnership between Io & Mayu is discussed (71). Show Grade: 73 Show Notes - Thunder Rock reunion out of the blue for the first time in years scored a great rating, with AZM stewing at taking the loss - Something I’m struggling to think of a way to convey is Saki’s uncomfortable tension with Kid, as although they are winning, seeing her friends Zombified is making her uncomfortable, although she doesn’t have the confidence to speak up yet

  18. Ahh that does make a lot of sense ... I promise if Natsupoi doesn't get injured will have a 1v1 with a feud at the season finale, that is a great idea though!
  19. STARDOM 5STAR Grand Prix Final 2023 Saturday Week 4 September 2023 Attendance: 16,000 People in Tokyo Pre-show Match: Oedo Tai (Momo Watanabe & Saki Kashima) vs Momo Kohgo & Skye Blue Oedo Tai [Momo Watanabe (72) and Saki Kashima (55)] defeated Momo Kohgo (39) and Skye Blue (40) in 7:51 when Saki Kashima submitted Momo Kohgo with a Short Armbar (54). Opening Match: STARS (Koguma, Saya Iida & Hanan) vs MIRAI, Mai Sakurai & Brittany Bryant Pre-Match Promos: STARS: Koguma leads the promo, asking her fellow faction mates to take accountability for their recent lack of opportunities. MIRAI, Mai Sakurai & Brittany Bryant: Just a shouting match in which no one is listening, leads to the team disbanding into three different directions to finish off their warmups. Match Overview: A clear one-sided affair, as STARS looked like a much closer team compared to their outspoken opponents. STARS [Saya Iida (50), Hanan (41) and Koguma (54)] defeated MIRAI (40), Mai Sakurai (34) and Brittany Bryant (30) in 6:46 when Koguma pinned Brittany Bryant with a German Suplex Hold (48). Match 2: Queen’s Quest (KAIRI, AZM, Saya Kamitani & Miyu Amasaki) vs Cosmic Angels (Tam Nakano, Maya Yukihi, Unagi Sayaka & Mina Shirakawa) Pre-Match Promos: Queen’s Quest: As Saya & Miyu are off in their own little world, KAIRI checks in to see if her and AZM are all ok, to which AZM replies with the dreaded “Sure” Cosmic Angels: Nakano has agreed to wiping the slate clean, after clearing up the misunderstanding with Yukihi, as the group call back to the good old days and do the blast off hand motion. Match Overview: Although both teams coexisted, a frustrated AZM was staring right at KAIRI as she locked in her armbar, winning the multi-person match for her faction. Queen's Quest [KAIRI (73), AZM (64), Saya Kamitani (66) and Miyu Amasaki (41)] defeated Cosmic Angels [Tam Nakano (71), Maya Yukihi (59), Unagi Sayaka (43) and Mina Shirakawa (45)] in 11:45 when AZM submitted Mina Shirakawa with a La Mystica Fujiwara Armbar (59). Match 3: High Speed Title Match: Challenger Mei Hoshizuki vs 23rd Champion Hazuki Pre-Match Promos: Mei Hoshizuki: Mei admits looking up to Hazuki after her first run with the high speed belt, but thinks after watching the tape she knows her weakness Hazuki: Hazuki is hyper critical of her 5STAR performances, looking forward to getting back into her High speed division. Match Overview: Hazuki was really off her game in this title defence, after the weight of the crowds’ expectations seemed to knock her off her usual rhythm. With both wrestlers panting after some miscommunication lead to some rough landings, ultimately the signature Fashwash kicks, followed by Hazuki dragging her opponent away from the ropes, lead to a tight both legs hooked cover, and Hazuki’s title reign remaining for another day. Hazuki (59) defeated Mei Hoshizuki (48) in 14:02 by pinfall with a Facewash Kick. Hazuki makes defence number two of the High Speed title (55). Match 4: Artists of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger Oedo Tai (Starlight Kid, Natsuko Tora & Ruaka) vs 29th Champion Vermillion World (Syuri, Maika & Himeka) Pre-Match Promos: Oedo Tai: With Kid perched on both of Ruaka’s and Tora’s knees, she cryptically laughs explaining that the fun is just about to begin… Vermillion World: Vermillion World have yet to show the world their true potential. Whilst Oedo Tai have transformed themselves, the fans can’t underestimate just how much of a transformation Vermillion World have gone through to try to forge their own path. Match Overview: The match told a clear story of Vermillion World defiantly standing up to the aura of this new Oedo Tai, however, ultimately being unable to stop the force of Starlight Kid’s vision. Divide and conquer was the strategy of choice as like in a horror movie, the challengers shut down all offence from Vermillion World, isolating and taking out their opponents one by one, until Himeka was the last defiant hope, to ultimately succumb to the darkness. Oedo Tai [Starlight Kid (70), Natsuko Tora (56) and Ruaka (41)] defeated Vermillion World [Syuri (80), Himeka (62) and Maika (65)] in 15:51 when Natsuko Tora pinned Himeka with a Death Valley Bomb. Natsuko Tora and Black Tiger Kaidou win the Artist of Stardom titles (71). Angle: Broken bodies are left surrounding the ring, as Oedo Tai are portrayed as an unstoppable force. Maniacal laughter can be heard from the Sky Tiger, as one belt is securely around her waist and the other two are securely in each of her raised hands (60). Match 5: Wonder of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger Natsupoi vs 19th Champion Io Shirai Pre-Match Promos: Natsupoi: Natsupoi deserves this chance to have a featured match after being fingertips away form the 5STAR GP final. She will put that disappointment behind her as she wants to take this opportunity to capture the prestigious white belt Io Shirai: Io admits that Natsupoi has stood out over the last couple of months, whenever she caught up with STARDOM, with the tournament being almost a breakout moment for the Vermillion World challenger. However, now fully rested, Io wants to remind the fans just what they have been missing with the first of many title defences of her White belt. Match Overview: We see a handshake declined by Natsupoi, as the champion extends her arms out to the challenger before the match begins, before a slick opening exchange and stand off forces Io to give a wry smile of respect, acknowledging that Natsupoi isn’t here to make up the numbers. Impressive athletic bursts throughout the middle portion allowed both ladies to showcase their talents and wrestling ability, with a neither able to establish a clear advantage heading into the home stretch. However, after Natsupoi hits the mat clearly dazed, Io eyes the top rope and makes the moonsault gesture that the fans have been waiting for. The move is executed to perfection as Io picks up the 1,2,3! Io Shirai (69) defeated Natsupoi (65) in 22:59 by pinfall with a Moonsault Press. Io Shirai makes defence number one of the Wonder of Stardom title (72). Angle: Io Shirai calls out her next challenger KAIRI, who enters the ring, with the two going back and forth over the state of QQ and the importance of elevating the white belt and in turn STARDOM (67). Semi Main: World of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger Thekla vs 17th Champion Mayu Iwatani Pre-Match Promos: Thekla: Thekla has been stewing for a month, pulling her hair out watch these opportunities pass her by. In a creepy hair pulling way revealing her chaotic mohawk / random spikes of hair around the shaved bald patches, she promises to provide a furious storm for the champion to contend with. Mayu Iwatani: Although Mayu is a little banged up from the 5STAR, she reassures everyone that this will only help her push past her limits and continue to fight for her most prized possession. Match Overview: The normally jovial Mayu is rightly cautious of this new Thekla how looks like she going to be a loose canon the moment the bell rings. The seemingly academic defence was anything but academic, as the Toxic Spider used her unorthodox style to stay in the fight. However with Mayu clearly on a different level, the champ was able to create some separation before punishing the back of Thekla’s head and upper shoulders, softening it up for a quick snap Dragon Suplex and a three count to retain. Mayu Iwatani (79) defeated Thekla (41) in 20:18 by pinfall with a Dragon Suplex. Mayu Iwatani makes defence number four of the World of Stardom title (71). Angle: An exhausted Mayu Iwatani thanks Thekla for a tough challenge. Mayu then however calls out Io Shirai and KAIRI!? Everyone is confused until the red belt champ rants that she is disgusted that she is being left out of their reunion match, after she was the only threedom member to hold STARDOM together. The emotions spill over as she touches on pushing back her retirement in order to carry this place on her back in order to fight to make this company what it is today, despite the odds being against her since day one. Titles aside, Mayu wants a three way to headline Winter Warfare, which everyone accepts (64). Main Event: 5STAR GP Final: Giulia vs Suzu Suzuki Pre-Match Hype Video: Instead of the prematch promos normally scheduled, we instead see a hype video that delves into the finalist story to this point. We go from roommates, to training partners, to Giulia’s defection to STARDOM, to Prominence’s invasion, to their double betrayal of DDM & Prominence, to winning the Goddesses belts, to their route through the 5STAR this year. To finish we see flashes of each of the former winners celebrating until a puff of smoke slowly reveals the match poster of Giulia & Suzu Suzuki facing off with the 5STAR Trophy placed front and centre between them. Match Overview: A three second pause is followed by a loud brawl that spills outside the ring as both ladies have an iron grip of each other, determined to be victorious in this tournament final. Both competitors produced call backs to their previous encounters, with Giulia instead not allowing Suzu to hit her moonsaults or clubbing blows in the corner, that allowed her to secure the planned victory last time around. With both ladies exhausted and the fans biting on every near fall, all it took was some crafty ingenuity from Giulia to play possum as Suzu was positioning herself for another moonsault, before maneuvering into a second rope Glorious Bomb, that looked sickening but was enough to win the match. Giulia (60) defeated Suzu Suzuki (64) in 26:43 by pinfall with a second rope Glorious Bomb. Giulia wins the 5STAR Grand Prix (70). Show Closing Angle: Giulia wins the 2023 5STAR Grand Prix! Confetti reigns as she puts on her gown. Before her crown can be put on by a BushiRoad official, Suzu snatches it into her grasp. A big exhale is followed by Suzu placing the crown on Giulia’s head, then stepping into the background to allow Giulia to have her moment (60). Show Grade: 70 Show Notes - Skye Blue sustained a Strained Bicep – 5 days being worked through - AZM's character focus this month, with some huge matches to round off the diary. - Threedom threeway will main Event Winter warfare, as although I did this in my last diary and no titles will be on the line, its a dream match I could never pass up on - Giulia wins it all! Despite struggling in game ratings wise, its a result that seems almost inevitable and definitely deserved in real life, although I've got a lot of real life STARDOM to catch up on!

  21. Thanks all, I'm pushing back the Preview and PPV by a day, as I've spent a couple of hours after work designing a HTML tutorial that will hopefully mean new diary writers can use code in their diary, if they want to easier. I've reached out to Arlie but will hopefully post up the step by step guide soon! Thank you for reading and predicting, apologies for the delay!
