  2. Pushing back the usual tour shows 1 day, in favour of leaving this mini news update... STARDOM Rumour – Utami to AEW Talks?! News coming out of STARDOM is that BushiRoad & AEW have been in talks for a talent trade. The potential deal is rumoured to see Utami Hayashishita loaned out for between 9-12 months, in exchange for two AEW young talents. Utami is a decorated STARDOM performer who has found herself on the fringes of STARDOM’s plan, with this year alone only being involved in a losing white belt and tag team title challenge. It is hoped that the loan will be a mutual beneficial opportunity but reaction from the STARDOM fan base maybe difficult to manage!

  4. STARDOM Bring it On! 2023 Saturday Week 4 March 2023 Attendance: 15,000 People Pre-show Match: Mina Shirakawa vs. Saya Iida Mina Shirakawa (46) defeated Saya Iida (47) in 8:55 by pinfall with an Implant DDT (50). Opening Match: Koguma vs. Unagi Sayaka Pre-Match Promos: Koguma: Koguma loves wrestling in STARS and will love taking home the win tonight to even the scores against Cosmic Angels, after Iida’s earlier loss. Unagi Sayaka: Unagi is distracted by her changing relationships with Cosmic Angels, as she is uneasy about the future. Match Overview: This got the show off to a strong opening as Koguma & Unagi offered a lighthearted opening to show. Koguma was successful in picking up the win but most importantly applying the bear pose on a defeated Unagi. Koguma (51) defeated Unagi Sayaka (41) in 9:48 by pinfall with a German Suplex Hold (53). Match 2: ALFA (MIRAI, Thekla, Mai Sakurai) w/ Waka Tsukiyama vs. Syuri, Maika and Yui Inihara Pre-Match Promos: ALFA: ALFA are here to stay and can’t wait to showcase the change in style for Waka, and their new lease on life. Syuri, Maika and Yui Inihara: Syuri & Maika can’t get a word in edgeways as the Rookie junior Yui grabs the mic and selfishly takes over the promo with her worries and concerns, Syuri & Maika look annoyed, 30 seconds in walking away. Match Overview: Waka demurely bowing behind Mai and opening the ropes, entertained the fans as the Butler Waka provided the drinks and swept their corner of the ring, before getting shooed away. Ultimately Yui’s selfishness cost her team, as Syuri and Maika saved her continuously from the ALFA offensive. Yui even was slightly dazed when MIRAI went for a trifector oflariats, resulting in head seeing stars and her eyes unseeing looking up at the lights for the referees three count. ALFA (MIRAI (46), Thekla (52) and Mai Sakurai (32) defeated Syuri (81), Maika (68), Yui Inihara (18) in 12:02 when MIRAI pinned Yui Inihara with a Lariat (50). Match 3: Hazuki vs. Tam Nakano Pre-Match Promos: Hazuki: Hazuki is confused by the Cosmic Angels leaders outbursts and shift in character lately but is undeterred in her quest to make 2023 her year. Tam Nakano: Tam knows Hazuki’s dirty little secrets from their Oedo Tai days, but will gladly hang on to them in favour of exposing her true heart in the ring tonight. Match Overview: Tam immediately rolls out of the ring and uses avoidance tactics followed by a snap change in direction to drive Hazuki into the elevated entrance ramp, left shoulder first, offering a red and white target for Tam to beat up for the remainder of the match. It did shock the fans when Tam’s purposefully slanted Tiger Suplex nailed Hazuki’s left shoulder into the mat first, allowing Tam to slither over and pick up the victory in shockingly quick fashion. Tam Nakano (64) defeated Hazuki (64) in 8:23 by pinfall with a Tiger Suplex Hold (68). Angle:Hazuki’s left shoulder is continued to be battered by Tam, until the other member of Cosmic Angels, Momo Kohgo & Koguma can slide in and tear Nakano away and keep the two wrestlers separate (58). Match 4: Queen's Quest (KAIRI, AZM, Saya Kamitani) vs. Oedo Tai (Starlight Kid, Natsuko Tora, Saki Kashima) Pre-Match Promos: Queen's Quest: KAIRI allows Kamitani to lead the promo as she holds the gold, before reassuring AZM that potentially they can go after and win some titles for two if they train hard enough… Oedo Tai: Oedo Tai bemoan “dangerous” Hoshizuki for hurting their precious Ruaka, so will have to restore her honour her tonight Match Overview: An open match sees these highly skilled competitors all getting the spotlight, where ultimately the new tandem of KAIRI & AZM squared off with and eventually overcame the duo of Tora & Saki, with Saya & Starlight taking each other out of the equation. Queen's Quest [KAIRI (82), AZM (67) and Saya Kamitani (63)] defeated Oedo Tai [starlight Kid (66), Natsuko Tora (53) and Saki Kashima (57)] in 18:04 when KAIRI submitted Saki Kashima with The Anchor (71). Match 5: Wonder of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger: Utami Hayashishita vs 18th Champion Momo Watanabe © Pre-Match Promos: Utami Hayashishita: Utami feels like its long overdue for her to be holding a singles title in STARDOM once again. Whilst she is happy to work alongside a legend like KAIRI, she feels as the white belt champion, she can also be a leading light for STARDOM. Momo Watanabe ©: Momo admits to not feeling 100% after already defending both titles this month, however still affronted by being shunned from the main event, she promises to do everything in her power to retain her titles! Match Overview: After going through so much a teammates, these two rivals knocked 7 bells out of each other from the word go, in a back a forth, intense affair. With no Oedo Tai at ringside to cause distractions the two are free to eave it all on the line. Momo does pick up her belt and contemplates using it, but thinks better off it in favour, which results in her being bounced off the ring apron by Utami delivering a terrifying burning hammer. Momo is able to squeak out a win with a desperate back stabber and a suspiciously faster than usual three count by the referee Daichi, ensuring Momo has survived half of her trial for tonight. Momo Watanabe (73) defeated Utami Hayashishita (64) in 21:49 by pinfall with a Back Stabber. Momo Watanabe makes defence number six of the Wonder of Stardom title (76). Angle: Instead of pre-match promos, we see the camera stay on an exhausted Momo Watanabe, spraying herself down and grabbing some water, having successfully defended one of her titles. She now stands up to glare at the Icon of STARDOM Mayu Iwatani making her entrance (59). Semi Main: World of STARDOM Title Match: Challenger: Mayu Iwatani vs 16th Champion Momo Watanabe © Match Overview: Momo despises Mayu’s sympathetic looks before the bell, catching Mayu off guard with brutal forearm strikes right after the bell rings. Mayu expected Knee’s and kick based offence, so was caught off guard and had to get her shoulder up at 2 early on. The intense match prior did eventually catch up to Momo though, as Mayu started to go through the motions of her classic offense and firmly wrestle back control of the title match. When Mayu hops back off the blue corner second rope (calling back to their previous title fight) looking for a reverse poison rana, Momo staggers back and drills her with a strong kick to the back. Both Ladies are down with Momo potentially creating an opening to retain her title. It’s not to be however as the resilient Mayu retakes control a couple of minutes later, hitting her picturesque moonsault for the dramatic win! Mayu Iwatani (81) defeated Momo Watanabe (71) in 27:58 by pinfall with a Moonsault. Mayu Iwatani wins the World of Stardom title (80). Angle: Mayu celebrates winning the World Title for a third time! Momo pick herself up and hobbles out alone, in the shadow of the new Champion (70). Main Event: Artists of STARDOM Title Match: Challengers: ALFA (Giulia & Suzu Suzuki) vs 24th Champions Himeka & Natsupoi © Pre-Match Promos: ALFA (Giulia & Suzu Suzuki): ALFA reminisce exactly a year ago where Giulia & Suzu were leading opposite factions into a main event battle. They will use their experiences over the past year to bring a new dawn to STARDOM Himeka & Natsupoi ©: The new champions are determined they are more than just Giulia’s support player, as they have scratched and clawed to retain these titles so far and will be looking for v7. Match Overview: Both sides square up to one another and rather than handshakes, stiff forearm blows are traded back and forth, leaving Himeka & Suzu winning their respective duels and kicking us off here. With the Champions operating as a well-oiled machine 6 defences deep into their title run opposing the challengers who through training together as rookies know each-others game inside out, the match drew a great reception from the crowd. However, it was Natsupoi who drew the loudest reactions of them all surprisingly, with the fans feeling every big shot that she took like a champion and fired up when she delivers her precision dropkick favoured offence with every contact. The finish of the match saw Giulia yell “oi Himeka” to a downed tag team champion, before whispering in Himeka’s ear. Himeka appears to see red, wildly swinging at Giulia, who sidesteps the attack, tripping Himeka so that her head bounced off the exposed turnbuckle. Giulia hits her Giulia driver to clam the Goddesses Titles for her & Suzu, cementing ALFA as a dominant force. ALFA [Giulia (59) and Suzu Suzuki (61)] defeated Himeka (63) and Natsupoi (68) in 23:53 when Giulia pinned Himeka with a Glorious Driver. Giulia and Suzu Suzuki win the Goddesses of Stardom titles (69). Show Closing Angle: Giulia & Suzu celebrate before beating down Natsupoi & Himeka With the rest of ALFA cheering them on. Until Maika & Syuri run out to make the save, aligning themselves with HimePoi, as ALFA cement themselves back in STARDOM (60). Show Grade: 70 Show Notes - Hanan, Miyu Amasaki & Mei Hoshizuki miss out on the ppv disappointedly, which needs to change once I get a break to forward plan my booking better! - Yui Sustained a mild concussion thanks to a MIRAI botch … out for 27 days - Hazuki & Tam having great chemistry is perfect for my booking plans! - Mayu had her first world title run cut short by injury, the second one disrupted by covid, so if anyone deserves to be a 3 time world champion its her, even more so because of her journey. This can also play into the long-term story of Mayu having Momo’s number on the big stage. - Momo’s title run … after a great visual at the end of the year, ruined by the injury, which combined with my indecision between portraying her as on the brink of losing it with management, and turning face, led to an underwhelming world title run, hopefully focusing on the white belt will lead help her and the roster. - Jam packed show with the Goddesses changing hands too, and Syuri & MaiHimePoi finally on the same page (arguably too much?) either way thank you for reading! Prediction Contest 3rd / 6 Rhysrob 4/8 50% You were spot on noticing it was time to call an end to double champ Momo, Rhysrob! Then the multi-person / pre-shows are a complete lottery, thanks for the predictions! 3rd Overall Prediction Contest Rateddc 13/16 81% Rhysrob 10/16 63% Halfway through and its still all to play for!
  5. PPV up tomorrow, probably early evening, as I'd like to spend a couple of hours booking ahead again STARDOM Bring it On! 2023 Saturday Week 4 March 2023 Main Event: ALFA (Giulia & Suzu Suzuki) vs. Himeka & Natsupoi © Match Preview: In our main event, ALFA’s leaders Giulia & Suzu Suzuki take on the defending Tag champions Natsupoi & Himeka. HimePoi have been great champions kicking into another gear this year, although ALFA return to STARDOM riding a huge wave of Momentum, leaving this deserving main event spotlighted match with the potential to be up their as a potential STARDOM match of the year candidate! Semi Main: Mayu Iwatani vs Momo Watanabe © Match Preview: This World of STARDOM match up sees the leader of STARS Mayu Iwatani, take on the double champions second match in one night, Momo Watanabe Mayu retaing her World of STARDOM Title over Momo in the main event of the 9th Anniversary back in 2020 kick started the downfall of Momo, meaning this match with the roles reversed should lead to an explosive affair. Match 5: Utami Hayashishita vs. Momo Watanabe © Match Preview: Momo defends her white belt against former stable mate and tag team partner, Utami Hayashishita. Having won the Goddesses league together and growing so close in Queen’s Quest, these two greats will surely click in a brilliant matchup. Match 4: Queen's Quest (KAIRI, AZM, Saya Kamitani) vs. Oedo Tai (Starlight Kid, Natsuko Tora, Saki Kashima) Match Preview: Match 4 sees the Queen’s Quest trio take on the notorious Oedo Tai. Ruaka becoming injured means unfortunately Miyu misses out on a ppv match, unfortunately. However, taking out the rookies leaves 6 strong competitors and an unpredictable contest! Match 3: Hazuki vs. Tam Nakano Match Preview: The leaders of this trios rivalry between STARS & Cosmic Angels in singles competition, in what surely will be the rubber match following Koguma v Unagi & Mina v Iida. Hazuki is riding a wave of momentum and is looking to continue picking up huge singles wins this year, whereas Tam is showing sign of frustration at her and her factions stagnation. Match 2: ALFA (MIRAI, Thekla, Mai Sakurai) w/ Waka Tsukiyama vs. Syuri, Maika and Yui Inihara Match Preview: ALFA take on Syuri, Maika & the rookie Yui. There is arguably just as much intrigue in seeing the new Butler Waka Tsukiyama on the outside, then on the winner of this contest. Opening Match: Koguma vs. Unagi Sayaka Match Preview: Koguma & Unagi will offer a fun opening contest, looking to represent their respective factions strongly. Pre Show Match: Mina Shirakawa vs. Saya Iida Match Preview: Iida’s chops vs Mina’s mind games should warm the crowd up nicely on the preshow. STARDOM Bring it On! 2023 Quick Picks Main Event. Show Grade: 68 Show Notes - Bull Nakano helped out before the show – teaching Himeka, MIRAI & Hanan Psychology, - Momo Kohgo low key kinda popping off … maybe because I haven’t booked this for a few weeks but she’s doing great under Hazuki! - MIRAI vs Ruaka was the closest I’ll get to a Lash Legend vs Indi Hartwell match, Just a single tear rolls down Bayley & Mercedes cheek as they wonder what happened. The game being savage as always introing the match as “In a terrible match” … Tell me how you really feel!
  14. Yeah that turn and promos after were done to perfection! It's why STARDOM is my favourite! Everyone picked Syuri & Maika as they have been great for me, It could have made the Giulia return and challenge even more personal! Always the way with booking a week ahead, then seeing the predictions and realizing you all have it better than me aha! Yeah just good exposure for Miyu & will kick the AZM / KAIRI relationship into the next phase, as I think KAIRI in QQ would be class! Wow I salute you sir as that's months worth of shows to get through! Any feedback or suggestions I'd love to hear / always try to take on board! Ruaka is in an odd spot where's she's almost past the future title, but is probably challenging and losing SWA matches / potentially holding an artist belt level, but she is so young that if you managed to build her up into a powerhouse in your division / you've got a star for 10 - 15 years to tell loads of stories! Poi sure has her army of fans aha, especially watching her turn irl has finally opened my eyes to what everyones been saying, hopefully my plans for her are alright! Welcome aboard! If you (or anyone) would like to predict on at least 2 of the next 4 shows over the next real life 4 weeks, the winner will pick a wrestler to push, everyone else will get to pick a match they want to see (any non title, but title matches can be requested depending on where you finish) So everyone can win something!
  15. STARDOM Spring Bloom in Sendai 2023 Saturday Week 4 February 2023 Attendance: 10,090 People in Sendai Pre-show Match: Unagi Sayaka vs Yui Inihara Unagi Sayaka (45) defeated Yui Inihara (20) in 6:39 by submission with a Gory Special (38). Opening Match: STARS – Peach HEARTS (Hazuki & Momo Kohgo) vs Oedo Tai (Saki Kashima & Ruaka) Pre-Match Promos: STARS: Hazuki nudges Momo to encourage her to lead the promo, Kohgo highlights their training together extra hard to get back into title contention. Hazuki nods and says lets go. Oedo Tai: Saki & Ruaka obnoxiously slurp their juice boxes, before Saki’s goes down the wrong way, causing her to spit it out making a “Spa Spa” type noise, which Ruaka agrees with, thinking it’s a new catchphrase. Match Overview: STARS use their speed to keep tagging out and isolating Ruaka. This left Saki unable to get the hot tag after starting the match and tagging out, leading to Hazuki picking up the win. STARS - Peach HEARTS [Hazuki (63) and Momo Kohgo (39)] defeated Oedo Tai [saki Kashima (57) and Ruaka (38)] in 9:23 when Hazuki pinned Ruaka with a Diving Senton (59). Match 2: Koguma vs Utami Hayashishita Pre-Match Promos: Koguma: Koguma is determined to put the bear pose on Utami, after Hayashishita has evaded the move all tour. Utami Hayashishita: Utami is annoyed by the bear and is looking to embarrass her by wrestling rings around her and avoiding the bear pose. Match Overview: Koguma’s bear dance to open is met with Utami flipping her by her ankles onto her face, follow by a buckle bomb, setting the tone of the match. Despite the attempts to put the bear pose on Utami, Koguma is unsuccessful as Utami scoops her up and taps her out with a Argentine Backbreaker Rack, held on for an extra three seconds. Utami Hayashishita (69) defeated Koguma (52) in 12:20 by submission with a Argentine Backbreaker Rack (67). Match 3: ALFA (Giulia, Suzu Suzuki, MIRAI & Thekla) vs Prominence (Risa Sera, Akane Fujita, Mochi Miyagi & Hiragi Kurumi) Pre-Match Promos: ALFA: With no sign of Waka or Sakarai, MIRAI and Thekla stoic in the background. Giulia & Suzu stand with their backs to the camera, holding picky to pinky swinging their joined hands back and forth slightly. The camera then zooms into their hands as they twist slightly to fist bump knuckle to knuckle. Prominence: Prominence gloat having their world title back, as new champ Sera wants to ensure they have the last laugh. Match Overview: Even with the absence of weapons, this match up was a brutal, vicious brawl from the get-go. With the Giulia barking orders ALFA took control and dominated large parts of the match. Suzu & Sera got to say goodbye to each other with a couple of minutes of reversals, before Sera tags out and leaves the Venue, Suzu scores the win before being hugged aggressively by Giulia. MIRAI & Thekla ensure the pair can’t be jumped. ALFA [Giulia (53), Suzu Suzuki (61), MIRAI (43) and Thekla (47)] defeated Prominence [Risa Sera (49), Akane Fujita (40), Mochi Miyagi (34) and Hiragi Kurumi (37) in 20:53 when Suzu Suzuki pinned Hiragi Kurumi with a German Suplex (55). Match 4: High Speed Title Match: Challenger: Mei Hoshizuki vs 22nd Champion Saya Kamitani © Pre-Match Promos: Mei Hoshizuki: Mei will use this opportunity to her advantage, by pocket rocketing her way to the High-Speed Title. Saya Kamitani: Kamitani is excited by the challenge of facing Mei, especially if in the future Mei & her can te… teach others how to wrestle a great high-speed match! She grimaces and breaths a sigh of relief before exiting stage right. Match Overview: Whilst this high speed match starts off with high octane speed, it become clear to those in attendance that Mei’s tactics change early on. Potentially recognizing the superb form Kamitani is in, Hoshizuki targets the leg with each attack looking to attempt to ground Kamitani. Kamitani seems to revel in this new challengers persistence, giving as good as she’s got, before her devasting Star Crusher, which after being flipped out of twice, is delivered on the third attempt, leading to the three count. Saya Kamitani (66) defeated Mei Hoshizuki (46) in 13:51 by pinfall with a Star Crusher. Saya Kamitani makes defence number six of the High Speed title (66). Angle: Kamitani spoils that Mei Hoshizuki is STARDOM's newest signing! After apologizing profusely, Saya is hoping the 20 year old will shake up the high speed division and eventually the whole company, Mei swerves the handshake and leaves the ring (50). Match 5: Natsuko Tora vs Starlight Kid Pre-Match Promos: Natsuko Tora: Natsuko Tora can’t wait to shock everyone who has been sleeping on her, downplaying her return. Starlight Kid: Kid respects the new path Momo is taking to greatest, cheekily adding that she was the trendsetter who set the example of how a real star join Oedo Tai. Match Overview: The size difference is the running story throughout this match, as Starlight’s momentum is cut off repeatedly by the force of Tora. This however allowed Starlight to demonstrate some innovative moves to counteract Tora, like faking out her standing moonsault, landing on her feet, jumping up to the second rope before delivering a dropkick, winding the side of Tora’s midsection. Starlight pulls out the Momo☆Latch (Hurricanrana twisted into a victory roll) as a rare finishing maneuver which was so unexpected the Natsuko couldn’t kick out of. Starlight Kid (64) defeated Natsuko Tora (51) in 16:38 by pinfall with a Black Tiger Driver (65). Semi Main: Artists of STARDOM Title Match: Challengers: Queen’s Quest (KAIRI, AZM & Miyu Amasaki) vs 28th Champions STARS (Mayu Iwatani, Saya Iida & Hanan) © Pre-Match Promos: Queen’s Quest: KAIRI & AZM are now on the same page after their leadership fight last month, as they praise the resilient Miyu to continue to push herself. STARS: Mayu is a grumpy leader as Iida and Hanan’s praise falls on deaf ears. Match Overview: Mayu calls out Miyu to oppose her from the get go, but KAIRI shakes her head with a smile, allowing for the two faction leaders to kick us off with a hot start. Very few tags are made throughout the contest, in favour for synchronized 6 way moves STARDOM perform so well in these contest. Iida refusing to moonsault to the outside like her fellow champions, in favour of chopping the 3 challengers on the outside into oblivion, before Hanan & Mayu’s dives connect earnt a few chuckles from the crowd. Whilst Miyu in the close squares off with Mayu before delivering a definite slap, led to the Icon testing Miyu for the final few minutes. Mayu refuses to tag out to her STARS teammates, in favour of being thee one to score the victory. STARS [Mayu Iwatani (81), Saya Iida (51) and Hanan (40)] defeated Queen's Quest [KAIRI (82), AZM (60) and Miyu Amasaki (36)] in 19:27 when Mayu Iwatani pinned Miyu Amasaki with an Moonsault. Mayu Iwatani, Saya Iida and Hanan make defence number one of the Artist of Stardom title (61). Main Event: Goddesses of STARDOM Title Match: Challengers: Syuri & Maika vs 27th Champions Himeka & Natsupoi © Pre-Match Promos: Syuri & Maika: Syuri & Maika reminisce joining DDM together through to growing especially close since invading Prominence late last year. They promise to bring that new found aggression in tonights main event. Himeka & Natsupoi: Himeka is still wary to join up to Syuri, compared to Natsupoi who is optimistic about their future as a 4 women group. Match Overview: Himeka immediately calls out Syuri at the bell, in order to set the tone and demonstrate her clear unhappiness at slotting underneath a Syuri lead faction. Once both ladies tagged out, the battle of Natsupoi’s speed & Maika’s power led to a fun exchange. Syuri shone by demonstrating her fighting spirit when Himeka’s power overwhelmed her, alongside selling Natsupoi’s rapid offence. Her chemistry with Maika also reinforced the fans support for the former World Champion. However the finish came when Himeka’s frustration at being outsmarted, brought about a jealous rage of driving Maika’s head against the post repeatedly. Syuri, furious at Himeka’s actions, runs around the ring to support her partner, leading to her and Himeka brawling on the outside. Natupoi missed all this as she crawls her way to the top rope and hits her Fairial Gift on Maika for the win. Himepoi [Himeka (53) and Natsupoi (66)] defeated Ponytail and Bushido [syuri (81) and Maika (67)] in 27:22 when Natsupoi pinned Maika with a Fairial Gift. Himepoi make defence number six of the Goddesses of Stardom titles (77). Show Closing Angle: Just as Syuri & Maika look to resolve with HimePoi, Giulia & Suzu lead ALFA out to attack! A combination of exhaustion and hesitation to get on the same page results in Syuri & MaiHimePoi being laid out, and ALFA standing tall! (55). Show Grade: 76 Show Notes - Thekla organized a poker tournament, Ruaka off game, Giulia really off her game - AZM really off game because of sustaining Cracked Ribs at the hands of Hanan nooo, match too important in the fan’s eyes to last so short too - Prominence vs ALFA is finished most likely for the diary, as we Transition to ALFA vs Syuri & MaiHimePoi, which should hopefully anchor this final year alongside the Momo Watanabe arc! Whilst we haven’t had a proper leadership feud in Oedo Tai, due to the large amounts of change within the other factions, these two will leave it all out in the ring. Match 4: Mei Hoshizuki Vs Saya Kamitani © Match Preview: High-Speed title on the line between Mei Hoshizuki & Saya Kamitani, as Kamitani continues her dominate reign into 2023, resulting in outside talent being recruited to keep the reign fresh! Match 3: ALFA (Giulia, Suzu Suzuki, MIRAI & Thekla) vs Prominence (Risa Sera, Akane Fujita, Mochi Miyagi & Hiragi Kurumi) Match Preview: The finale of Prominence vs ALFA will take place here instead of on Prominences shows, due to the Momo Watanabe injury.
