  1. I agree

The one I checked first thing was mass edit attributes. I wanted to give some older people the ability to go passed 65 in the game. If I have to do one by one it will take forever.

The problem is mass edit attributes will mean mass edit will have a bunch more options. Since it would have to be a option for every attribute in the game.

    Yes, as it should be.

  2. Couldn't find a way to do this.

Found when converting data from 2016 to 2020 lots of workers get pushed into heavy drinker/drug user attributes. I had like 12 people show up unable to perform for my first show testing it out which was not the case in 2016.

Could we get a way to address this without having to check one by one on every worker?

  3. For me so far, the way company products are done is a massive red flag. It appears that we cannot create our own products or set our own rules for ratios of match types or angles?

As a modder, I was never able to fully overcome TEW2016 removing match lengths as the knock on effect of this was 2 matches per 1 hour show for many companies, which then meant companies like WWF the wrestlers simply didn't develop and progress enough so you'd see the power 500 dominated by Japanese guys as they all wrestled and developed more while the US scene would stagnate for years because big names were only wrestling 12 times a year since they never got enough TV time. I think the current changes are potentially just as if not more severe and will make creating a mod that balances realism with playability potentially impossible.

  4. I'm unsure as to whether this is the right place, but I've recently downloaded the September 18 picture pack and I'm trying to put it into my new September database, however, hardly any pictures are showing on characters. Is there anyway around this using the in game editor other than selecting workers one by one?

If you go into the editor -> Workers-> Mass Edit - Picture Becomes Their Name it should fix some up but it depends on how the pictures themselves are named. If Shawn Michaels has no picture assigned because there is Shawn Michaels 1.jpg in the picture folder, then not much can be done besides manually adding pics to workers or renaming picture files to match the worker names.

  5. First impression, it looks really solid and I do like the longer bios that show you put in potentially excessive amounts of research so massive respect for that.

Would love to see Japan expanded a bit, any plans to add Big Japan, Michinoku Pro, Osaka Pro, Kaientai Dojo or any joshi promotions?

Also Australia is understandably pretty neglected but things were picking up around this time, most of the Aussie guys who are currently working in the US and Japan were making their first major strides around 2006. Happy to help out with either this or the Japanese promotions if you run short on info as I know they are on the harder side to research.

  6. <p>Anyone know how to have a promotion open and their owner also be the booker? Feel like I've forgotten something.</p><p> </p><p>

Also, are people still playing TEW16? Is there much interest in mods these days? I've been out of the loop for a while and part of me feels like attempting some modding again and trying to think of a good time period that isn't already covered or at least, covered to my satisfaction <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Obviously as I already made 1996 data anything closer to this time period would be easier but i am open to any suggestions. No promises, just curious on people's thoughts.</p>

  7. I would usually create some lower injury risk hardcore/brawl type matches when running WEXXV and limit the outright death matches to maybe one per show.

So maybe I'd have a barbed wire bat match/kendo stick match, maybe some streetfights or barbed wire board matches and a few regular or hardcore matches to fill out the cards.

That and I would use a lot of tags and six mans, keeping the roster about 16-20 guys but using pretty much everyone on every show.

  8. You know what grinds my gears.

Math. And not just any math, algebra. Sorry I would go into it more indepth about how I can control my finances but can not find the answer to The Sun minus the Moon = Pluto (fake but still) and it grinds my gears.

Long story short, No way in hell am I going to fast track from Math 99 (elementary algebra) to Math 101 (college algebra). Even if I could it would put me through hell because I'd be sitting in class pulling out my hair wonderring how the hell X = 200 when I got 3.

    :(

Yeah I'm with you on that, algebra has always been my weak point. It has never come close to making any kind of sense to me .. I learned the basics well enough then forgot them as soon as my test was over, all I needed it for was because you need to have passed a maths unit to get into uni ... as apparently my journalism and film degree really needed a lot of algebra despite the fact I have never used it.

  9. Memes

Seriously, unfunny repetition of annoying image macros and trollface/yao ming face/whatever stupid face rubbish has really made the internet pretty lame. Whoever invented that crap should be killed.

I went to a party (though calling it that is being generous) and it was full of nerds. That's okay, I can get along with all kinds of people so long as they have one good thing going for them. One fellow, who I shall call King Nerd, legitimately spoke entirely in beaten to the ground internet jokes. Everything he said came from online. I found him pretty annoying.

  10. which he probably will, he has in literally just about every other fight he's had. and he's the first? are you forgetting Silva? He ducked the Sonnen rematch until Chael pissed him off. and how can you call a guy who fights (and quite well) for a living a p****? thats just idiotic. and im sure the fighters were payed something and had the fights pushed like a card up

Because he behaves like a p-word it's totally a fair call. Jon Jones is a sissy pansy primadonna lilly-livered yellow-bellied egg-sucking dog who is totally lacking in male genitals, heart, backbone and guts. All those regions of his body are instead filled with ego and cowardice. He is the epitome of everything that can go wrong with an athlete's attitude.

I don't totally blame him for the show being cancelled, that was Dana's call, but Jones is the major factor in that and the reasons he gave for it were absolutely repugnant and moronic, all that stuff about how he wants to dominate his fights and make them look effortless. What a bloody moron.

  11. I just find it kind of hypocritical because Machida "isn't as big star" no one complains when he has a whole month to prepare, when Jones had one week to change his entire gameplan.. The guy's the champion and I feel that gives him much more right to at least somewhat pick his opponents. Contenders should fight whoever, let alone the champion!

Because Machida isn't leading to anything getting cancelled and because Jones could probably win anyway based on his abnormal reach/Sonnen only having a week to prepare too. Jones would still have a huge advantage as at least he was preparing to fight on that date, Sonnen wasn't and was at least willing to give it a shot.

Jones is what happens to sports when too much money/shoe companies get involved. It's only natural a few of his ilk will gravitate towards the sport and things will immediately go downhill horribly.

  12. Does anyone remember way back when Cena used to rap/when the Kobe Bryant rape allegations were still somewhat fresh him and Big Show having an exchange in which Show rhymed "Giant" with a line about Cena being a white girl and him being Kobe Bryant?

Seriously the WWE gives really mixed signals about a lot of things, I'm sure nobody is looking to them for moral guidance, but it would be nice if they had some consistency in what they present. Similarly the whole "Hey kids don't be a bully, unless it's against a heel like Heath Slater or Paul Heyman then everyone can take a shot at them" booking style seems to really contradict what they are doing with B A Star etc.

On an unrelated note, Damien Sandow is my new hero. Heels in WWE are so much more likable than babyfaces most of the time.

  13. He's the Italian footballer who was fouled in the last minute of the 2006 World Cup second round match against Australia. Del Piero went on to score the resulting penalty (and in the end, the tournament - ironically via a Grosso penalty in the shootout). Australians (and people who just hated Italy in general) were outraged that it wasn't Lucas Neill's fault he's a clumsy oaf, and felt aggrieved that top 5 team had knocked Australia out, and I thought Australians hated Italians ever since because of that. :p

Lucky it didn't happen in rugby or swimming; there might've been a war. ¬_¬

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the history lesson. I have no problem with Australia losing in soccer as it's an evil foreign sport that has no place here anyway. One might even say it grinds my gears. :p

  14. You know what grinds my gears?

What really grinds my gears is when you're allowed to represent a country at sport when you have a ridiculously tenuous link to that nationality.

Yeah I always thought that was pretty pathetic, I am pretty sure for one Olympics Australia pretty much bought Bulgaria's second string weightlifting team. I honestly lose all interest in any sport where I see stuff like that happening. I mean sure in most pro sports you know you are cheering for a uniform and nothing more, but the olympics shouldn't be like that.

The Italian rugby union team is notorious for this (their captain (and several others) is Argentinian, and one of their other star players is Australian and his mother has Italian parents).

To be fair, I'll never count anyone with even 1% Italian blood as Australian, damn eyeties and their tomato noodles.

I know this debate comes up fairly often on forums and stuff, but I'm not even talking about parentage in some cases. Parker plays for France because - literally - "he lived there for a bit". What the HELL?

Living in a country for a bit should not be enough though. In my opinion.

It seems like if you want to have a child who is in the olympics, its in their best interest to knock up a foreigner in a country neither of you are from, then move to another country, live there a while, move on again and get citizenship in yet another country. Bonus points if the kids grandparents are from four different countries.

  15. Oh man, CM Punk hitting the Go To Sleep on Rock was one of the most beautiful things I have seen in wrestling. It's about time someone gave that past his prime, overrated, catchphrase machine a knee to the face and Rock sold CM Punk's stuff pretty well too. After that whole episode of RAW being pretty annoying (Tout, Social Media BS, Trips making Lesnar look weak, Rock making Daniel Bryan look stupid, Everyone bullying Heath Slater ... seriously guys, Be a Star should not endorse this!) finally someone I actually like got one move in on someone I want to see get the hell smacked out of him.

After all the time Rock has made other people look like crap while he rattled off 4000 catchphrases and after all the times I felt ill from playing The Rock drinking game, I really just wanna see Punk and him have a good, nasty, EVEN feud. This has put Punk into the role of Uber Babyface to me, even if he'll be a heel to a lot of other people.
