1.
Just an observation, but for the British PPV carriers, I'd get rid of them all and only have Sky Box Office. NTL and Telewest didn't have their own service and supplied their customers Box Office events, instead. I'd set it as Big, most likely, as we don't get many events on Box Office as it is, and back in 1995 we didn't get any (as far as I remember).

Perhaps you could add Prime Time to debut in 2009 (late that year, not sure what month though. September / October time, I think). They would most likely be medium sized.

Other than that, I'm enjoying playing as WCW at a time that I actually recently watched through again. Thanks for this. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

 2.

I don't think they need to unify any more titles, because they shouldn't have unified the WWE/World Heavyweight Championships in the first place. There is far too much talent in the 'E to half the amount of championships. Whereas I can see the plus of it because it adds a certain amount of prestige and it'll obviously double it's activity, it leaves a lot of people treading water like the World Championship unification has done to the likes of Dolph Ziggler, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio and to a lesser extent the likes of Big Show, Mark Henry, The Miz and Christian. The list of names I could supply would be doubled if I was to list the number of midcarders who would be left in a similar position if both the midcard titles were unified, especially with the intake of NXT guys. The problem is with a lack of coherent booking in the midcard, not the titles themselves...

I tend to disagree here. There was no need for a WWE Championship and a World Championship, especially when it has been painfully clear the last couple of years how the company ranks them. Add to the fact there is no longer a brand split and therefore having two titles of each level just isn't logical.

The guys you listed are upper midcarders, but not main eventers. The main event scene in WWE is actually quite slim, in my opinion. A handful of guys are true main eventers and then they'll throw in someone like Shemus or Big Show for a throw away storyline every now and then. They should be gunning for the IC title in my opinion.

As for uniting the IC and US titles, I agree to uniting them. They are meant to be on par, and again with no split, it's not logical to have both. Add to the fact that I literally don't remember the last time the US title was defended, it just doesn't make sense to have it anymore. Ambrose hasn't even had it on tv the last few weeks. If the champion doesn't take it seriously enough to hold it, why should I?

 3.

I played a bit during the beta, was impressed by the graphics quality (for an MMO) and, as you say, the fact you can still enter all the buildings and stuff. Didn't like the combat at all though, I found the gameplay a bit boring. Combat basically involves vaguely waving a weapon in the air and the enemy falling over (and not even in cool ragdolly ways). I know certain compromises have to be made in an MMO, but it just feels... bad. Also hate the way that other players seem like ghosts... you can walk straight through them, and your weapons go straight through them too. Also don't like how people in cities just stand around. Feels like a step backwards.

John Cleese as Cadwell was awesome though.

And the fact that it's both a £50 release and subscription-based put me off checking out the full version. C'mon, Bethesda, it's 2014. You can't charge £50 for a game (which is more than basically any 'normal' non-EA game at launch) and then also charge £9 a month (seriously, who charges subscription fees these days?!), and expect me to play it. I don't care how good the game is.

I'll wait until it inevitably goes free-to-play.

I know what you mean about the £50 price (although I got it for £40 of another website - can't remember which right now), plus a subscription. I personally have no issue with paying a subscription as I'm a long time World of Warcraft player, so I'll just quit that and continue my payments with ESO.

As for your other points I think you have to take into consideration that the whole 'walking through people' thing is sometimes a necessity. Unlike a normal single player game, when interacting with objects, the AI can make sure that nothing is in your way to getting there. With an MMO it's far different. If I get to an object that I have to interact with to further a quest, and there's already five or more people there, I don't want to have wait several minutes while they interact, read what they have to do, open their map to see where they have to go next, and then plod along out of my way. If I can "get through them" and interact with the object myself, it makes for a more enjoyable experience. Imagine having to wait to get through doors, etc. It could become extremely annoying.

The battle is something that I feel could be improved upon, but to be perfectly honest, I don't have a clue how. It just feels likes something is wrong with it, or missing. I wouldn't have minded it being like WoW, to be honest, but then... I don't know.

 4. Is anyone else playing Elder Scrolls Online? If so, what are your thoughts? I'm really enjoying it, with the only real complaint being that I didn't like the default key mapping, and lack of controller support (this wouldn't usually be an issue for MMO's as I've always felt keyboard and mouse are best used for MMO's, but this game just... feels better with a controller), but I've mapped my controller to it using xPadder. Visually it's very pleasing, and the environment interactions are great - if someone else has already searched a crate or a sack, tough, you can't search it now. Plus I haven't come across a single building that isn't able to be entered. Little things, but I love them. Plus, a huge bonus for me, as I hated it in World of Warcraft, no server wide Auction House. Instead you get an Auction House within your guild (which I believe you can be in upto five guilds at once) and your bank is shared across your account, and you can store gold on it. It's pretty cool. So, those that have played it, what are your thoughts?
 5. Came across this website recently and thought I'd share it as it might come in handy http://steamdb.info/sales/. It lists all the sales on Steam, and you can change currency, sort orders, etc. Pretty useful if you're looking for a new game and don't want to spend too much or you just want a list of all the sales currently on Steam.
 6. I have updated the first post with some more mods, but I know I have missed plenty. If you have a thread here that isn't on the main post and want it added please PM me and I'll add it. I did add this to the main post, too:
 7. I've grown to appreciate Cena and what he brings to the table. He is to the WWE now what Hogan was to it back in the 1980's, after all. I only have two major issues with him and they are that after a match he never sells that he has been in a "battle". His match with Bray at Mania, for example, I really enjoyed, but as soon as he got the win, it seemed liked he'd only just got to the win, wrestled for a couple of minutes, and picked up the win after not taking any damage. It gave no sense of having just been in a real battle, which it was, and took me right out of believing in the match. My second issue is the persistence in him starting almost every promo recently by saying something along the lines of "I know that some of you don't like me, but we all know I come out here every week and give you everything I have, blah, blah, blah". I like Cena on the mic', but when he starts with this I just switch off and stop paying attention. He needs to just concentrate on the storytelling and do less of the trying to win the other side of the audience over. Other than that I usually like his work. Also, it's a sad day that we have to say farewell to the Warrior.

In the wrestling business you have toonly worry about you. Punk doesn't care about Bryan because if it came to it Bryan would run over Punk if he needed too.

But people who are WWE marks turn against Punk but it's not him to blame it's WWE.

Punk is to blame. Being a wrestler is like being employed anywhere else, you do as your told to do by your boss. If he's told he isn't main eventing Mania, well, tough. Suck it up and continue to do as your paid to do.

Some guys take themselves too seriously. He's paid to pretend to fight, that is all.

 9. I always, always, watch a gameplay video (usually the opening of the game) to see if it's something I'd like to play. And like Big T said, there are so many legal alternatives. I have a bookmark folder in my explorer of about 10-15 different games websites where I'll search the game in each one and buy the cheapest. Then there are Steams weekend and mid week sales (last weekend it was a huge one based on Square Enix / Eidos, and I managed to get all three Arkham games for less than £15!), and I always check to see what's on Humble Bundle, especially with their actual bundles, as you often get some real gems. Torrenting (here in the UK most "well known" torrent sites are blocked by our ISP's) copywrit material is not only illegal but can also be extremely dangerous as they can be laced with viruses, Trojan horses, Cryptoware, etc.

It wouldn't bother me in the slightest if Daniel Bryan didn't win the title Sunday so long as it means Bryan vs HHH continues.

 11.

Okay, I got lucky and Dark Souls 2 did draw me in, and I'm definitely hooked now.

That being said, picked up WWE 2k14 the other day as a game to kinda take a break from the seriousness of Dark Souls with. I told myself I wasn't going to buy it after WWE 13's disappoints were at times just too much for me, but i've gotten over it. I think the game works well as a game I play in breaks, but shouldn't be my main go to game. Still has a lot of of the problems from last year and I don't find the 30 Years of Wrestlemania as fun as the Attitude Era stuff. Also, I played 2 online matches and received terrible gamers in both and terrible lag in both, quickly souring me there. That being said, what do you hope they do next time for a story type mode? I think it would be cool if they looked over to the other company and tried to do a story mode based on WCW or maybe even just the NWO time period but used branching story arcs like No Mercy did so you could have multiple plays through the story. After writing that out, yeah, that would be awesome.

What I would like to see is a mode based in the Monday Night Raw, maybe from the start of nWo, where you can create your own wrestler and you can negotiate deals with either the WCW or WWF, being able to jump ship, etc. form alliances and enemies... I know, it's all wishful thinking and I doubt we'd ever get anything like it, but I'd love it.

 12.
Cheers guys. With my new PC I know I can go at least x16 with it (I don't think I've seen anything higher) so I'll have to make sure to set it in the games I play in the future.

On another note, I'm playing Alice: Madness Returns. I bought it in the Steam Sales at Christmas and finally getting around to playing it, and I must admit I'm really enjoying it. I love the idea of this fairy tale land being so corrupt and disturbing. The game play is nice; simple with challenging puzzles, and then graphics are very pleasing on the eye. Anyone else played this?

 13. Can someone explain to me what multi sample anti aliasing? I see it in the options for the majority of games, and I've always assumed the higher the better with it, but am I wrong?
 14.

I've said numerous times I don't care/want to debate you for obvious reasons quoted above in bold. It's all personal predilection, like I said when giving you a link to a forum that had the same debate. Superhumans and Mutants have too many similarities, yet they live in the same world and one is discriminated and the other is praised, why wouldn't the similarities lead to similar prejudice and lead to both groups fighting in every single war when their very well being was on the line? Don't the humans consider anyone with superpowers to be Mutants?

I'm not entirely sure this is the case. In the Marvel Universe it seems that the humans fear the super heroes, be it they are mutants or just super powered, or what. The only two that spring to mind that I don't ever recall having issues with general population are Captain America and Iron Man. Even before Iron Man revealed himself to be Tony Stark, I don't really remember there being any animosity from civilians.

But you went through you'd find a lot of the characters are constantly having to not only face their enemies but the prejudice of the people too, X-Men being the most obvious. It's something me and my friends have had many a debate over, when you compare the two major comic book companies. Marvel tend to set their heroes up almost as wild west outlaws - people fear them, not all the people, but a great deal. DC, on the other hand, set their heroes up as out and out heroes - saviours, if you will. With the major exception being Batman, who the GCPD want to bring in on vigilante chargers.

Or at least that's how I see it. 'Marvels' by Kurt Busiek is a pretty good example of this 'love / hate' relationship the civilians of the Marvel Universe have with their super heroes. I recommend it.

 15. MLT I'm going to read up a little bit more about the benefits of collecting them, if I feel the same way that D-Lyrium does about them, then I'll send them to you. I'm still in two minds as to collecting them or not.
 16.
Cheers D. Yeah, it seems a waste of time. Time that could be better spent trying to get Dagenham up the footballing pyramid on Football Manager <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I'll just continue to ignore them then, much as I did on Xbox and PlayStation.

 17. Can anyone explain to me what Steam Badges are, exactly? At first I thought they were their version of Xbox Achievements or PlayStation Trophies, but then I noticed that certain badges make sets, and that you can sell / buy them on a kind of Community marketplace. Since you can sell them to other players, does that mean a full set of a certain collection has some value to it? Will I be rewarded for getting a set with something? Or should I just sell any badges I get? I'm really not sure what's going on! Haha

 20. So I bought the latest Humble Bundle which I've mentioned a few posts up, it's a Sega themed one this week, and I had my eye mostly on Binary Code and Alpha Protocol, but the first game I tried was Rome: Total War and I loved it. I then tried Medieval II: Total War and loved it even more. I can't stop playing them, and I bought the Medieval II expansion 'Kingdoms' and also found out there are some pretty cool mods for it (including one for Games of Thrones, which I'm hoping is good). Even if I don't play the other games now I feel I got my monies worth just with these two, and it's helped me find a new game series that I've fallen in love with!

Does anyone remember these shows even being acknowledged on WCW television? I was around 11 when the iPPVs occurred and don't really recall anything about them.

The first four were on line only, I believe only on AOL too, and they didn't include a live video feed, it was audio only. It was like listening to sport on the radio. I don't believe they sold very well, and in the end they stopped doing them. The Millineum Final was a German only PPV, and I don't even think they released it on VHS. I'm not sure why it's not on the Network but I wouldn't be surprised if the only feed they have of it is with German commentary.

 22. RayW1986, but I dont have a mic' or anything. Feel free to add me though. I figured out the problem with the memory space, the system needs 12GB of space to download, but it also needs the same amount to install. So really it needs 24GB. Once it is installed the download deletes itself and it's only taking 12GB of space, but you need the double space for the initial download/install.
 23.
For those that haven't seen it, this week's Humble Bundle sale is Sega themed, and includes Rome: Total War, Binary Domain, Company of Heroes and Alpha Protocol. The other games included are Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit, Medieval II: Total War, Renegade Ops, Classic Sega Genesis / Mega Drive Collection, and The Typing of the Dead: Overkill. Paying $14.99 or more will get you Total War: Shogun 2, too. Not a bad little collection here, in my opinion.

https://www.humblebundle.com/weekly

Look back at his feuds even with the most silly of opponents, like The Dungeon of Doom; look how he sold anything they did. Look how he sold being hugged by a dude dressed up like a mummy. Look how he sold Warrior being in his mirror in the dumbest WCW skit since Robocop was Sting's valet. Damn, he even sold the Rock Bottom like it was a Piledriver to a concrete floor...

I've always loved the way Hogan sells. It's the face. Hogan can go over anyone but still make his opponent feel like a real threat in the match, even with "Hulking Up". His face, those wide eyes, that "oh crap what am I doing here?" look. Priceless.

 25. I agree, a very good experience. It's the first game in a while to actually toy with my emotions, I haven't had that happen for a few years (I'm trying to think and the last game to have done that may have been Gears of War 2 with the story of Dom and his wife).
