1.
Before I continue, let me just state, I don't like Cena. I just don't hate him either.

I personally haven't heard the podcast but Jericho and Edge discussion on how Cena booked his match against the Nexus at Summerslam seriously throws the "Cena doesn't book things" out the window.

My understanding is that Cena was to get the pin, Jericho and Edge suggested letting Nexus get the win, and Cena said no. This was during planning for a match. In this case, since everyone has some input on their match, everyone would be a booker. They aren't.

The big difference of course is that Cena has been in the main event longer than Rock or Austin's individual careers in WWE and as such they never had a time period when they just constantly were a massive roadblock for new stars that have still never recovered after being in a program with Cena. No Wyatt's career isn't over but look at how Barrett bounced back after a program with Cena...by losing in 5 minutes at WM. What about Ziggler who looked like utter trash in that feud? He still can't buy a win despite enormous fan support.

And on the subject of merchandise, CM Punk was the only guy to beat Cena in merch since 2006 and his reward was still being a very visible second fiddle to Cena who Cena always went on last over despite the title. Maybe it's not 100% Cena but let's not act like he just does everything they tell him to because that's not how anyone became the top guy in the industry

I'm not saying he does everything that they tell him too, I'm saying he's doing nothing that those that paved the way before him didn't do.

Workers working with the top guy and never reaching that height again after is nothing new, too. It happened in the 1980's with Hogan, it happened in the 1990's with Shawn, Bret, Austin, it happened in the early 2000's with Triple H.

I get that it's trendy to hate Cena, but the whole ordeal is becoming so painfully ridiculous that people are actually clutching at straws to make him the bad guy, while forgetting that all their heroes did the exact same things.

 2.

The difference wit Austin is that he is actually entertaining in Hus promos. Cena has fine the same belittling for years that doesn't help a feud and only hurts his oppt. Also get your facts right on the Austin Lesnar thing. Austin didn't want to have that match on a round one. He wanted it on PPV since they were both the top guys. Cena has put over one man clean in how many years? That's pathetic. DB is the only one to beat Cena clean in aong time. Even Punk at MITB had VKM and Johnny Ace there as a distraction. Your D riding of Cena is sad. You defend him when he doesn't deserve it. You don't think Cena calls the shots for himself? What happened to Alex Riley's push after his backstage thing with Cena? Why have numerous people spoken out against him after they leave WWE? Cena is a company bitch who will do anything to stay on top.

Cena can work the mic' like no one's business. No, I don't think Cena calls the shots for himself, or else he'd be in the main event programme, not working a mid card storyline with Bray Wyatt. Riley's push has nothing to do with Cena, again, Cena is not on the booking committee.

If you believe that Austin walked away from his career over a disagreement about what show a match should be on, that's fine. I'll continue to believe that Austin's ego got the better of him and he didn't want to put Brock over.

As for those that have been released saying things about John Cena (or anything to do with the WWE, in general), I'd take it with a pinch of salt. Wrestling, much like any form of entertainment, is full of bitter people that never made it, jealous of those at the top. They say what they will to make themselves feel better.

I repeat myself here, the reasons people are giving as to why Cena is the worst thing to ever happen to the WWE are the exact same things that guys like Austin, Rock and Hogan did in their respective era's.

 3.
Why does Cena always get the blame when he beats someone? Cena didn't put Bray over, so that is Cena's fault? I didn't realise he booked the shows.

Seriously, it takes a really ignorant view to assume that Cena is the evil incarnate and that he isn't over. When he stops being the number one mover in merchandise that's when the WWE's interest will start to fade, but until then expect him to be at the very top, winning feuds, and getting a lot of air time.

That is what the majority of fans want to see, evident by merchandise sales. A common misconception is that the WWE fan base is made up with a majority of "smarks" or "the IWC", it isn't. Your run of the mill independent promotion may be, but not the WWE. The majority of WWE fans are casuals or true marks who cheer the faces and boo the heels. They want Cena.

Also, Cena is doing nothing that hasn't already been done. Austin lost only a handful of matches to up and coming stars in his run in the WWE from 1998/99 onwards, and walked out on the company when they wanted him to put Lesnar over, but he is a damned God to most. The Rock would mock, mock and mock some more, he was never serious, he was always making juvenile jokes about his opponents and asking if they "like pie", yet he is a damned God to most. Why was it ok for them, but not for Cena? This "I don't like Cena because it's cool to not like him" shtick has got real old lately. He's not even been on the true focus of the shows since the unification match with Orton, yet everyone stills continues to whine about him.

Oh no, Cena beat Bray, this must mean Bray's career is over, and was totally buried, right? Ok.

 4. I just checked in the bios, and it appears one of the fans shows in red. A quick Google search tells me it shouldn't be. I'll check for loose connections in a bit and see if I can change anything in the bios.
 5. I figure this is the best place to ask advice; my PC gets very, very hot when I play high end games, is there anyway to cool it down? I've only had it a short while, and it's pretty high end. It has two fans in the front, a fan on the psu and a fan on the motherboard. Despite this, when I open SpeedTest it only tells me three fans are running? SpeedTest tells me my GPU and CPU are over heating, but everything else is fine. I'm not sure how I can keep it cool. Is it worth investing in a water cooler?
 6. Don't know what platform you'd be buying on but I got it for £30 on g2a.com as a digital download for my PC (normal version, not deluxe - an hours extra gameplay isn't worth an extra £10 in my opinion), thats £20 cheaper than most other places I have seen.

 8.
Argh, I watched the first series of Arrow and at the end the only question I had in my head was "Why did I put myself through this"? I thought it started well, but it lost me after about six episodes.

It being on Fox can be an issue as everyone knows how trigger happy they are, but I don't think it looks awful at all. With Catwoman being about five years older, again, I don't see an issue. I'd very much doubt there would be any romantic links between them in the series, as that doesn't occur until Bruce is Batman, and that clearly isn't going to happen in this series.

 9. Just see the trailer for Gotham (

) and I have to say I'm very much excited for this. I'm a huge Batman mark and love anything based on or around the character (my favourite comic book character is Nightwing), and this looks fantastic. It starts later this fall, and I urge anyone with an interest in Batman to check out the trailer.

 12.
The JLA series of movies was doomed when they announced Superman/Batman.

They are attempting to rush a JLA movie into production by, seemingly, introducing everyone in one movie. It's stupid and wreckless. I'm a massive DC fan, I've always preferred DC over Marvel, but if Marvel got anything absolutely spot on, it was the Avengers series of movies. DC need to look at that and copy that formula.

DC need to give the major characters their own platform to be introduced on. We've had a Superman movie, and I honestly don't feel that Batman needs to be seen until the JLA movie itself. Then we should at least have a Wonder Woman, a proper Green Lantern and either a Flash or Martian Man Hunter movie. This way we have met the bulk of the JLA (minus whoever else they throw in - Cyborg apparently? Probably anyone else that they want too). Everyone knows Batman, we don't need another solo movie from him, he can be spoken off in the other movies, and introduced in the JLA movie.

The way they are doing it now just gives me a headache. This movie is turning into a clusterbang of different characters that do not need to be seen yet. And why? Because they feel they need to get it done as quick possible. Just take your time and it'll come, the characters are great, and they, as well as us fans, deserve better.

I liked Man of Steel, I didn't see why everyone hated it, and I was looking forward to the sequel, but I've very quickly lost all faith in it and any future movies they do.

 13. Was this just after Hogan lost the title to The Giant, and Hogan wore all black for a few weeks? Or am I thinking something else?
 14. Does anyone here us Trakt.tv to keep track of movies that they have watched for their respective home theatre devices? I've just started using it and was wondering if there was a way to add entire collections / lists to your watched list without having to click watched on each movie? Anyone know?

Hopefully, they let Emma and Paige put on another classic like they did on NXT.

Paige has a good look and I believe she could be the one Diva that the division could be centered around. Emma has some great wrestling skill and doesn't hurt that she was trained by Lance Storm. They could totally make them to be like the next Lita and Trish for the division. I'm not saying Paige and Emma could be the new Lita and Trish but I'm sure WWE can utilize them, and they have a great mix of "ingredients," to bring back some legitimacy to the Divas division. Not like AJ wasn't helping already, just another great addition.

I can't say how happy I am that Paige is the new Divas champion. I know she just started on the main roster and hoping it means there are good things to come for her. I just realized after watching Shimmer Volume 53 that Saraya Knight is her mother and looked up about Paige's family. They have put all there energy on getting their kids (like Paige, she has two brothers Zack and Roy) into the mainstream. I also hope Zack does get signed by WWE, he seems to have the tenacity but WWE doesn't like his look and have told him to get bigger, of course. WWE won't hire Roy because of his past run ins with the law.

I bet UK wrestling fans on this board are aware of what I'm talking about. Anyone else think this could be great stuff?

If you're interested in the Knight family, there was a documentary made about them a few years ago for TV over here. It shows them trying to run a promotion and pay the staff and wrestlers with the tiny amount they make, plus Paige (Britany) and Zack going for the WWE try outs. It's about 45 mins long and you can watch it here: http://dailymotion.com/video/xs9ski_the-wrestlers-fighting-with-my-family_shortfilms

Once Cartoon Network become 24/7 TNT stopped airing.

 19.
It would probably be better to make a seperate TNT channel (TNT-UK?) as it was no where near the size that it is in the US, and it was a totally different line up. It was basically TCM but under the TNT name. The only thing I recall it airing that wasn't a classic movie was Nitro and Thunder, and it aired between only 7PM and I think 2-3AM. It really makes no sense to have it as a PPV provider.

Yeah, I know that he started out as Michael Wallstreet (again) - but as his name was changed so fast, I just figured that it made more sense to just have him start with it - for consistency. What do others feel about this subject? Michael or VK?

I'd probably stick with VK Wallstreet. I'm pretty sure they hyped him as Michael but his first appearance on Nitro was as VK.

EDIT: I just thought, I don't have the game in front of me at the moment to check, but there should be a UK based TNT channel (medium sized, I'd think) that carries Nitro, if it doesn't have that already.

It was one hour during baseball season and two hours when baseball season wasn't in play. I prefer to keep it to two hours I don't see the harm in it.

Ah I was wrong then, for some reason I thought it was just a one hour show. In that case ignore me then. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

 22.
I also just noticed that Zodiac is a face, but he was a heel at this time with the Dungeon of Doom. He didn't turn face until October or November, when Higan revealed he had a mole in the group and it was "The Booty Man" aka Zodiac.

Also WCW Saturday Night is set as a two hour A show, but I'm fairly certain it was only a one hour show, and should probably be set as a B show. After the debut of Nitro it started to fall down the pecking order, and while it still featured some main event talent, it'd be hard to simulate that in TEW where main eventers not being used on the show would become upset because they want to be on the A shows.

It's never been a PPV carrier, it's a normal TV channel. So, this just doesn't make sense (although a lot of mods have them as a PPV carrier, for some reason). It's like having BBC or USA Network as a PPV carrier.

secondly, I'd probably drop Telewest to Medium in size, otherwise we have two big companies and one Very Big, which leaves it a bit saturated.

Lastly, I'd have Telewest and NTL then debut some time after Sky Box Office (leave the Public broadcasting UK as is, since it's so insignificant) purely because there was no such thing as PPV in the UK, really, until Sky introduced SBO. It just seems kind of wrong to me that I can get PPV in the UK before PPV here existed. It feels like cheating.

So bearing that in mind, SBO should debut in March 1996, I'd have Telewest and NTL debut later that year, or maybe even 1997 or 1998.

But that's all just my opinion. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />
