1. I'm in the UK and have the Network working on my iPad so long as I have a VPN active, but I cannot get it working on my PC at all. With or without my VPN, I click a video, it loads the page, but doesn't load the video at all. It doesn't even load the Error Message that other people seem to be getting. Ah well I'll give it to the end of the week and see where we are at.

Do you think online services like Netflix and Spotify started out amazing, with no issues? I've been with Spotify a long time, and it still has issues. It's day one, people are flooding it to see what is available, even those that know they won't be getting it are looking just so they can certify to themselves that it isn't for them. Come WrestleMania all the kinks will be ironed out, and it'll be running smooth. You could do the best possible polls and survey's to get an idea of the amount of traffic you'll receive on launch day, but you'll never be fully prepared.

 3. Nope that was brilliantly explained, thanks tjb.

 5. Excuse my ignorance but can some explain to me what the Humble website is all about? I've checked it out and it looks good, but I'm a little confused. Is it all Steam games, but with a % going to charity? Are they same price as they are on Steam? Cheaper? Dearer? It looks good and I'm interested in using it but I'd just like a little more clarification if someone would be so kind.
 6. Is it just me or is he trying to do a really bad Mankind impression in that video with his whiny rambling?

 8.
Ok, so using the same workers that that report used (excluding Batista), I went through and made a tally of 2013 using just TV taped events (PPVs, Raw, SmackDown!, Main Event). Here is how it looks:

http://www.raywilsondesign.com/misc/matches.png

So Cena still wins all, but other than him, there all about the same, except Daniel Bryan clocks up the most amount of wins. We have to remember that Cena and Sheamus both had time away too due to injuries.

EDIT: It looks like Bryan and Orton have worked a lot, but they were both doing Raw and SmackDown! a lot. Bryan was sometimes wrestling 2 or 3 matches a show, too.

 9.
I'm sure I read when it was first announced that it was going to remain free. I don't feel it suites a monthly subscription, and if they charge for that plus card packs it's a little over kill, if you ask me. I have 7 of the 9 classes now. Pretty pleased with it overall. It's making me want to play World of Warcraft again.

EDIT: Make that 8/9 <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Just the Warlock to unlock now.

 10.
So upon realising that I was still paying Blizzard a subscription for World of Warcraft despite having not played it for over a year, I signed into my Battle.net account to cancel it, and noticed that their new card game has been released to open beta. It's called Hearthstone and plays like any other battle / strategy card game, but I'm quite enjoying it. For those that ain't seen it, I'll give you a few details.

You get a class (you can't choose a name or anything, it's just the 'head card'), and once you have done the tutorial you have access to the 'Play' and 'Practice' modes. The latter is obviously just against the AI, while the Play mode is split into Casual and Ranked. I'm yet to play Ranked as I'm still coming to grips with the game.

You get quests to complete and they have to be done in Play mode, but most can be done in either Casual or Ranked. As you level your card up it will gain more class specific abilities, and you'll earn gold from the quests to buy new card packs. 100G will get you one pack of five cards, and each pack has at least one 'rare or better' card. You can spend real money to buy new packs but I don't really feel that it's necessary unless you're desperate to have a massive collection of cards, although you can only have 30 in your deck at once anyway.

You can unlock other classes by beating them, either in Play or Practice, and then when you unlock them they start at level 1 and you have to build them too. The game is still in beta, so I'm not sure if there'll be any more changes too it, probably not. Oh, and it's free to play, which is nice. You just have to download the client, which I think was a couple hundred megabytes. I want to say it was about 250MB, but don't quote me on that. If anyone else is playing it, or is interested, I'm in the European server, and you can add my battle.net account via my user name RayW1986 or my email address raywilson1986@hotmail.co.uk. Overall, I'm enjoying it.

I always find it odd when people think Bret was a mark for himself. Bret was treated like a hero during his Anti-American stuff here in Canada during 1997. People in wrestling always laugh when they say Bret thought he was a Canadian hero and took himself too seriously, in reality he was voted 39th Greatest Canadian by CBC in 2004. Saying he was a hero here isn't too much of a stretch.

Yeah I'd been following for years prior to me watching the WWF. At the time here in the UK we had WCW on tv on TNT which was a free channel and I didn't have Sky Sports which was what the WWF was on. I wasn't dissing Bret just saying that he looked really uncomfortable doing an anti-American gimmick. As in his facial expressions kind of said it all, he clearly didn't want to be doing that. He was gold as a heel though, in my opinion.

 12.

By the way, Austin lost the title match against Taker via interference from Pillman. The way they developed Stone Cold's character, carefully booking when he would go over someone or not, really maximized the effect of his climb to the top in my opinion. Would he have had the same impact if he was just hotshotted to the top? I honestly don't think so. The way WWE is handling the Bryan situation is the right way to go about it if history has a say in it.

I've recently been re-watching the WWF from around early 1996, and my next event to watch is In Your House 15. The whole Bret Hart and Steve Austin thing is awesome (I missed out on this by about a year, I didn't start watching the WWF until around mid to late 1998). Austin is full out loose cannon at this point, while Bret is (looking very uncomfortable while) doing his anti-American gimmick, reuniting the Hart Foundation, this time with Bulldog, Owen and Pillman. Very entertaining stuff.

 13. You have to remember that the WWE Hall of Fame is no longer just for WWE alumni. It's more of an "all of pro wrestling" Hall of Fame, so you have to also take into account what Jake done outside of the WWE. Also the Hall of Fame has never been about what the guys have accomplished, other wise Koko B. Ware would be no where near it.
 14. I don't disagree with you, I believe he is hugely over. My issue is with his rabid fan base. It's a little too ferocious. You can't boo an entire show/event until he comes out, because that ruins the show for everyone. So he isn't in this years WrestleMania main event? Steve Austin didn't main event WrestleMania when he was first getting over either. I think some fans, especially those that call themselves "smart marks" invest a little too much in certain workers, and then take great offense when they don't get what they want. Yeah, it's obvious that Bryan is massivly over right now - but right now it's about Batista. I'd rather it was about Bryan, I've followed him for close to a decade, and I love what he does, but it's about Batista. Bryan opened Raw. He worked the main event of Raw with Shemus and John Cena (main eventers) and The Shield (so hot right now that you could fry eggs on their faces). He's in the Elimination Chamber. The last month he has been in a major storyline with the Wyatt Family, also so hot right now. Before that he was main eventing PPV's with Randy Orton and John Cena over the Championship. My point is, he is doing everything that a main eventer would do. He is a main eventer. There is nothing higher than main eventer in terms of card level. Main eventers don't work every main event, they also open shows and work with people lower down the card to help elevate them. This is what he is doing. This is why I don't understand what the fans want the WWE to do. Putting the title on him really is just a nice gesture. It's a prop, it's something for him to carry, but it really isn't as important as it once was, and it hasn't been for a very long time. I think his fans need to realise that they are getting what they want - Bryan is a major player in the WWE, but there are a handful of others wrestlers that he has to share the spotlight with.
 15. Until creative sorts it out, Rhaj will be held down forever.
 16.

From my understanding, there is a lot of childish marks on the internet these days who just hate people like the plague. You guys know it's a work right lol? People despising Punk and despising Batista for little known reason. Enjoy the product, laugh at people losing their mind over something not real.

^This is how I expected most IWC fans to lose their shit.

Exactly. I just enjoy the product for what it is, sometimes its lacking, sometimes its good. I'm quite happy to take a month out and not watch (I'll keep up to date with results via wwe.com), but at the end of the day it's no different to the drama shows we have on TV. For example, I watch Big Bang Theory. I love Sheldon and can't stand Leonard. Do I get all upset and angry every time he is on my screen, though? No. It's just a TV show. Raw is just a TV show.

 17.
I kind of see it as being a Daniel Bryan fan is the in thing right now, and live crowd's are very easily swept away with chants. Even if you didn't like Daniel Bryan you would probably still chant 'Yes! Yes! Yes!' with everyone else if you were at Raw.

Now where I think this whole Batista / Daniel Bryan thing is becoming totally beserk is the insane hate for Batista. In a way, I get it. The guy left saying he hated the product, and he slated pretty much everything about the company. Then he's suddenly back and is in the main event of WrestleMania with a title shot. I can see why there is some resentment there, but didn't Lesnar do the same?

Brock Lesnar left the WWE because he wanted to compete in the NFL, that didn't work out, and he could have made a wrestling return, instead he opted to enter MMA. He done well for himself, and got sick. His illness means he can't compete in a full out and out MMA match, so what is left for him? A return to a scripted environment where his opponent can take it easy on him. The WWE. Why don't people hate him? He is literally in the WWE because he has nothing else available to him. He can't act so he can't do movies, he has nothing to offer on a microphone so he can't do TV work for UFC, and if anyone tell's me that Lesnar wants to be in the WWE, well, I can't believe that. He looks like he is just going through the motions every time he is on my screen. Yet the fans eat him up.

I like Daniel Bryan. I like CM Punk. But the insanity of wanting them both in the main event of every event is absured. The fans are actually making me not want to see Bryan at the moment because there is no way they can be pleased. If he wins the title they still won't be happy because eventually he'll drop it to someone who 'isn't worthy' in their eyes, like Randy Orton or John Cena.

At the end of the day the WWE Championship, like every championship in professional wrestling, is just a prop. Holding the title doesn't mean you're the top guy - it just means your luggage is heavier than usual.

Daniel Bryan is still on TV every week, he's working with either top guys (Cena, Orton, Triple H) or with guys that are red hot at the moment (Shield, Wyatts). What more do you fans want? Do you want him to open, close and work the middle of every show? Maybe the WWE should clone him so we can have a Daniel Bryan vs Daniel Bryan match at WrestleMania?

It is becoming an obsession, and obsessions are not healthy (unless your obsession is salad, I guess that is healthy).

 18.

And even the people that are saying "see this is why I don't believe the dirt sheets" are full of it because I've seen all of them in here making comments that only show up in the dirt sheets.

I literally do not read the dirt sheets. I only know of two, Observer and Torch, and the last time I visited one of their websites... Well, I think it was when Chris Jericho was returning doing all that Save Us stuff. Any dirt sheet news I read is usually what is posted here. I don't know when people are let go or signed usually until it's mentioned on air, or I happen to see someone mention it here.

But I do agree, if ever there was a time to just sit back and watch, it is now. This will either all blow over and it's carry on as usual, or something good is about to happen. Punk won't be gone forever, and truth be told, if he is as burnt out as he fans say he is, then doesn't be need this time off, really?

 19.
Why I people putting AJ Styles in the same category as CM Punk? I don't mean to sound like a troll but logic tells me that TNA and it's wrestlers aren't anywhere near the popularity of the WWE and it's wrestlers. Throwing out "well AJ is working for ROH, why wouldn't Punk?" Is ludicrous. AJ Styles isn't that well known outside of the wrestling fan base, where as CM Punk has been on talk shows, in national media, he was the WWE Champion for over a year.

In short, AJ Styles is no where near (NO WHERE NEAR) the draw that Punk is. The two of them working ROH are very different situations. You can't compare them.

 20.
Well this whole CM Punk thing has certainly got people talking. Do you know what I think? He went in to Vince and said "I'm beat up, I'm going home." And Vince said "Ok fella x". CM Punk went on his way, and...

He'll be on Raw next week.

Dirt sheets have about as much merit as the messages you get in a fortune cookie. Except I'm more likely to believe a fortune cookie.

EDIT: I think we are inadvertently being worked by the dirt sheets with this misinformation.

 21.
This is exactly why I don't read dirt sheets. They usually result in something like this:

"At this stage the plans are for Daniel Bryan to win the title at (Event Name), but those plans may change."

"The plan is for Shemus to return at (Event Name), but those plans may be out on hold."

"It looks like the plans for WrestleMania are for The Undertaker to face Brock Lesnar, although this may change as John Cena's name has also been mentioned."

"It looks like CM Punk has walked out on WWE as off this morning, although this situation may be resolved soon."

Do you see the pattern in their commitment to not commit? They basically make a living out of telling you what you already assume.

 22.

I agree that it's silly, but that's literally what the WWE has said the title represents and how it was created.

Yeah, the TV/Global Title was the Legends title.

Oh right, if they say so then I can't argue with that. What was the premise of the Legends title? I know Booker held it, but who was qualified to fight for it?

 23.

You do know that the continents represented by the IC title are North America and South America right? Pat Patterson "unified" his North American Championship with a fictional South American Championship to create it.

I have to disagree with this statement. The title faceplate has always included the European and African continents on it, so I do believe it has always meant to represent a number of continents as well as North and South America. Otherwise it'd be silly to feature them continents on the faceplate.

Back to TNA though; didn't the TV/Global Title start off as the Legends Title?

He has the size, he can get by in the ring (as a monster heel you're not expected to wrestle. You're expected to quickly destroy your opponents), and he has more charisma than a lot of the other monsters that WWE has tried to push over the last decade. I personally wouldn't mind seeing it.
