  1. 60 is the minimum for "Call in Ring". I don't know if it's 60.5 or some other fraction, but sometimes brand new 60s get the note that they look lost and other 60s don't. 59.6-59.9 may show up as 60 due to rounding, which would explain that, but I don't know if that's actually true, it's just speculation.
  2. When running a Performance Center, do the workers that are there to build their skills gain extra from having a higher training level, or is that just for newly generated graduates?

  4. Haven't seen this come up anywhere, so I figured I'd ask here. Is there any purpose behind all the phone hack/leaked nudes/etc storylines? Does it change worker morale or popularity or anything? It seems to happen a lot, and I haven't seen an effect, except in the odd occasion that it was revealed that a worker was cheating on their partner.
  5. As far as I know, Pride was fully shoot, but all of the companies (and early UFC, I'm sure,) suffered from diving because of gambling and mafia ties. I guess you could consider that worked in a way. Early Pancrase was supposedly lightly worked, but it was set up by pro wrestlers as legit contests in Catch Wrestling, and pretty quickly went straight MMA. I haven't seen any intentional dives in Karate Combat, but I haven't kept a close eye on it. I'd imagine Bas Rutten would weed that out pretty quickly, though. As far as in-game, the products don't (in my mind) match up with a product like Pancrase, Pride, K1, Karate Combat, etc, because the vast majority of the in-game products leave a huge amount of the match rating up to the popularity of the workers. If you have an unknown sweep into UFC or Bellator, or any tournament fighting format, they can make a name for themselves in one fight. On the other hand, if you have a super popular fighter come into a promotion and utterly stink up the place, they'll get booed back to where they came from. CM Punk comes to mind. As it sits, 35% of the match rating for Catch Wrestling and Wrestling as a Sport, are raw popularity. Shoot Style and Faux MMA are 40%. It's still 25% for Pseudo Sport at best, but that still feels like it's a very long way from an ideal balance for those products. Faux MMA in particular should probably be closer to 15 (or less, ideally), since a good match is a good match, even if you have no idea who's in the cage, and popularity goes out the window once the first horn sounds. Edit for clarity.
  6. I'd love to see something based on Karate Combat. It's not quite MMA, but there's almost no focus on worker popularity or interviews, and no angles to speak of. Before anyone comes for my head, I know that TEW is based on pro wrestling, but I'd still love to see a product that's a little less finicky about popularity and charisma and more focused on in-ring skills (and I think TEW is superior to WMMA in general.)

  9. Recently, I've started a new game with the "Stunt Show" product. When I'm using the Autobooker, I have to go through and manually set each match to "High Spots" or "Car Crash". It is a pain in the ass, and it kills my shows if I forget to do it, since the product requires half the shows on the card to have that particular note. (I know they can be High Spots, Steal the Show, Car Crash, or Mayhem, but I want them all to be High Spots.) There should be a way to tell the Autobooker to default matches to "X" aim (like Hardcore or Deathmatch for the crazy feds, or Eye Candy for the adult/burlesque feds, or High Spots for the stunt shows and high flying feds.) Failing that, there should be a "Default aim/aims," for newly created match types. That way, the Autobooker will know how to properly use those and be in line with what the player wants.

  11. Click the question mark in the top right corner of the main window, then double click the yellow "Workers" in the help menu. Under that, double click "Workers: Skills" and you'll get a detailed breakdown for each skill.
  12. Is there a particular size roster I should be shooting for per child company to ensure the workers actually get ring time?
  13. Quick, but strange, question: Would there be a point to setting up multiple child companies? Like, is there a cap on workers that they can get experience per month? If I were to hypothetically hire some stupid amount (think 200+) of trainees specifically to build them up for other companies (My current game is based around being a sports-agency/super-gym type company,) how many child companies would I need to set up to get them all training at the same time?

  17. I would also like my trainees to focus on one style or stat. If I'm running, say, a Stunt Show fed, I want high fliers, cruiserweights, and daredevils. I don't necessarily have a place for a dozen superheavyweight powerhouses every year.
  18. I'd actually like to be able to set a default. For example, in a "Stunt Show" fed, I'd love not having to set "High Spots" and "both/all workers Stunt Bump if eligible," etc etc etc.
  19. It would be pretty awesome to build a network dedicated to not only boosting your own viewership, but also making money off of your competition via ad revenue or something like that.
  20. My current C-verse odd couple is Alistair Shufflebottom (tiny American high flyer,) and Hack Hawkins (Hack the Hunter, the big bruiser from Australia.) They teamed up as a throwaway, and had excellent chemistry. Now, they're several time tag champs as "500 Pounds of Destruction."
  21. Hey, would it be possible to bake a simple scripting engine into the game regarding the auto booker/default road agent notes? If, say, I want all the matches it sets up to be of one type, like high spots or hardcore because of my product, I should be able to just tell the game that. Going through each match to ensure it has the correct match focus or setting stunt bumps is kind of a pain when you run a lot of shows.
  22. It used to be 20-ish, but I can confirm that it's 0 now. I always set myself one injury away from retiring from in ring action.
