  1. I am the only National Company in Canada & USA. I beat SWF, TCW, USPW by stealing as many Main Eventers with 90+ SQ that I could. I also built up my own workers that had high SQ because some guys (Like Rocky Golden) considered me 'too small' when their contracts came up. Kirk Jameson and Gargantuan are good guys to build up. Also keep an eye on the SQ of everyone, for example Davis Wayne Newton jumped from 86 SQ to 96 SQ in my game, so I am going to try and push him up to the Main Event. KC Glenn has jumped from 93 SQ to 100 for me, so he's going to be a major player. (He would be Figurehead if his Charisma wasn't 'meh') I have Champagne Lover, but he is in his late 30s, so his SQ will start going down when he hits time decline. But he's my Figurehead until such a time. Everyone with high SQ becomes a hot commodity once you can lock people into Written deals, because popularity can be built up, SQ can't be built up, it raises naturally. I think one watcher game I had, Matty Faith hit the high 90s for SQ, so it's extremely important to periodically check people who are available to be hired with 'Excellent' SQ because someone's SQ might have jumped up MASSIVELY. I just shortlist every worker in the world that has a Written deal, and check their stats when their contract comes up. El Leon has 94 SQ and 'A' Popularity in USA and Mexico, so it was a no brainer to steal him when his contract came up, because it deprives SOTBPW a major player in potential National Battles in Mexico. I am not quite National there yet, but when I hit it, I already have more drawing power than them in Mexico, lol.
  2. <p>I just had Jacob Jett debut from developmental during the few weeks leading up to my PPV. KC Glenn and Mr. Lucha III were having a fairly friendly rivalry based on respect for the United States Championship (below World title in importance, but above TV title), they had a title match, which was Main Eventing an episode of my "A" TV Show.</p><p> </p><p> I had Jacob Jett debut during their match, interfering causing KC Glenn to win by DQ, and thus Lucha III retained the US title. </p><p> </p><p> Dawn, my Authority Figure booked the rematch to happen at the PPV, but Jacob Jett demanded he be included, because he shouldn't have to earn squat. Glenn and Lucha III requested that Jett be included to make it a Triple Threat, that way he can't ruin another competitive match, they can take care of him on their terms. </p><p> </p><p> Before the scheduled Triple Threat, Jett took out Glenn backstage, brutally. This lead to a singles match between Jett and Lucha III because the PPV still needed a US title match, Jett cheated to win the title from Lucha III.</p><p> </p><p> I will probably keep Glenn off TV for a few weeks to sell the attack, while Lucha III and Jett continue the feud. The original planned Triple Threat will happen at the next PPV, with Dawn vowing to strip Jett of the title if he so much as accidentally bumps into Glenn or Lucha III before the bell rings. </p><p> </p><p> I plan on debuting Prometheus to be Jett's bodyguard/muscle during the Triple Threat, so he can retain and go on to have a long cowardly heel run with the title, as my World, TV and Tag Titles are all held by Babyfaces. Does anyone have any good ideas for a name I can give Prometheus? What's a good sounding bodyguard name? lol</p><p> </p><p> This is just my current favourite storyline I got going on right now, as I've always had a soft spot for Jacob Jett. This is the storyline I have the most thought put into.</p><p> </p><p> Right now Antonio Maxi Marquez is just steamrolling through all challengers as World Champion, that way when someone finally wins the title from him, it will be a HUGE deal, especially if done cleanly and he's also my Figurehead and is currently in the process of being established in the first year, so I don't want him losing yet. (he's only been figurehead for 8 months or so). Ross Henry is my current TV Champion, and he's both a Next Big Thing and Hot Prospect, so I have high hopes for his future. The Keith twins are my Tag Champs, doing whatever.</p>

I know of two in the default database, one of which (semi-severed spinal column) does so much permanent damage that they will retire once the injury is "healed" I don't think you can really heal from that though, considering they'd most likely be paralyzed in some fashion. Not sure on the severity of the other one, which I think is Herniated Spinal Disc, I believe.</p><p> </p><p> If I was Orton I'd be pissed at management for sending me to surgery after the injury essentially healed itself naturally lol</p>

Aces High and Remmy Skye came back with Soft Drugs, so I sent them both to rehab. Storm Spillane came back with Steroids, so I fined him.</p><p> </p><p> Ernest Youngman developed a pain killer addiction, I assume after his torn pectoral injury after a botched move. So I sent him to rehab at the beginning of the game (he got injured in Jan 2016), and I haven't had an issue with him since he got back. Before I sent him to rehab, I'd constantly be bombarded with everyone he worked with complaining he was high lol</p><p> </p><p> Rehab sets people back a lot in my game, Ernest Youngman was set to get a fairly big push at the beginning of the game, and I'm now in Feb 2018 and I am just now motivated to give him a push. He's been an Enhancement Talent or Opener since coming back from rehab, he's finally a Lower Midcarder! Partially because by the time he came back, my roster's average popularity had risen much higher than his, as he wasn't around to grow with everyone else.</p>
  5. I am finding angles score really high this year.... Mr. Lucha III keeps giving me A* rated interview angles with ~76 average entertainment skills, and B- Popularity. Freakin' storylines.... lol I also won card of the year. It was the card where Fro Sure won the World title in a Cage match that rated 99. It also featured Gargantuan vs Rogue which got an 87 somehow. My product is Perf=Pop, so Gargantuan and Rogue getting an 87 was surprising. Neither of them had particularly good psychology, so I am fairly certain the match was penalized for that.
  6. <p>My roster is huge. How do people handle rosters with 65+ people? Here's my roster as of January 2018. 7. <p>Is there any downside or issue if I have multiple shows on the same day in the same time slot on my own Broadcaster?</p><p> </p><p> I've bought out MAW, SAISHO and HIW and have made my own child company. So I have four in total. I set up so HIW broadcasts in Prime Time on Thursdays for a weekly show, but my created child company Broadcasts their 'B' Show on Prime Time Thursday, will this cause any issues?</p>

You could even do it as a "Special" one-off event, or dedicate one of the PPVs to it, but I'm not sure which PPV would fit best. 10. Guys, I have a bit of a dilemma. Remo Richardson is my World Champion, and 60% towards a HoI induction. I am heading into my season finale, and Antonio Maxi Marquez (Champagne Lover) is the Number One contender, because he won my Survival Of The Fittest match (Royal Rumble), and he's 100% towards a HoI induction. Part of me wants to save the 1v1 so I can book a "Once In A Lifetime" down the road, when Remo gets a bit more progress towards the HoI, but I don't know how long that would take, he might never get there. What would you do? Book the 1v1 or find some weird shenanigans to make it a triple threat?

They just each have a weekly TV show now, and their events are Broadcast. I don't have any coverage in Japan right now, because I have existing TV and PPV deal there, because I bought out GCG and disbanded them, which absorbed their Japan popularity, allowing me to secure independent Broadcasting deals there.</p>
  13. I'm about to try and sign El Leon (A Pop in Mexico and USA) to my USA based company, even though he's out injured for 8 months. I don't have any immediate plans for him, but his 90 psychology and 94 Star Quality make the fact I will be paying him to sit on the sidelines for 8 months to be worth it, I'd think. I make $4,000,000 per month, what's another $100k per month contract? I'm all for gutting SOTBPW's roster, I need to prepare for when I decide to really push into Mexico. At the rate I am signing all these stars, I'm going to need a Brand Split, LOL I forgot to mention, I also have Sammy Bach coming in, I got him specifically because SWF offered him a deal while I was in a National Battle with them, so I have no idea what to do with him, he's on time decline, and I got him for 4 years, I might just send him down to be a Developmental Trainer, and call him up if I am dire need of his Star Quality/Popularity if I ever get into a fierce National Battle.
  14. <p>Logan Wolfsbaine is still in developmental, but since I have my own Broadcaster showing my developmental company's shows, he's grown to B- popularity throughout USA and Canada, all the other workers pushed at Main Event in my dev company are in the C range for popularity.</p><p> </p><p> I really love how your developmental companies can also develop overness for your new workers, so when they debut they can jump right into meaningful storylines in the Upper Card.</p><p> </p><p> My plan is to introduce a Television title for the Midcard, and bump my US title to Floating to be a step above the TV title, and a step below the World title.</p>

  17. Child Promotions are ran independently from you, the AI will create titles to fit their needs if you don't make promotion specific championships for them to book. You can control things like the schedule, set up tag teams for them to book, and the product they use. They book their own shows, you have zero control over how the AI books your child promotions. There is no way to book developmental championships on your main roster. The way developmental companys work in TEW is closer to OVW than NXT.
  18. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Newman" data-cite="Newman" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>moving on to alliances, I think I have it sussed now, apart from one thing.. <p> </p><p> I have my alliance, and I have my alliance titles, so now I can decide who holds them, and who is pushed for them.. How do I stop them trying to push people I don't want belts on, or even better, how can I stop them creating their own belts, and use my alliance title instead..</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Because developmental companies are their own separate entity, they book their own shows and have their own champions. You set up their schedule, can create tag teams for them, can create titles for them, but they will create their own titles if there isn't enough for them to work with.</p><p> </p><p> Alliance titles are like the old school NWA World title, not promotion specific titles. They're not meant to be the primary title for a promotion, they're a Championship that can be loaned out to the companies that are in the Alliance. You don't have complete control of the Alliance titles, any member of the Alliance can get the Championship (and the champion is automatically loaned, too) on loan for any of their shows, and they can book them. So if one of your roster members is Champion, he can be loaned out by the AI to defend the title on any other company's show.</p>

  22. I've only had the issue happen once so far, Ernest Youngman developed a painkiller addiction and kept angering everyone he was working with. I ended up sending to rehab when he finally caused a backstage incident, and then he was gone for 7 months. Now there isn't any room for him in my plans, because I've stolen people like KC Glenn, Remo, Nicky Champion, and Champagne Lover. Ernest Youngman is currently in a heel stable with Davis Wayne Newton, Kip Keenan and Jamie Atherton, they're all pushed as Openers. So he's basically stuck in the Social Outcasts spot, that's what happens when you get sent to rehab and Hell's Bouncer gets the feuds you would have gotten.
  23. Yeah, that makes sense. I mean, it makes sense that someone could slip through and actually end up performing drunk or high, that's not a problem, but not being able to do anything with it after the fact is just weird to me, it's not a gigantic issue for me, though and does make some sense from a gameplay POV, because you have to decide if the worker in question is worth booking if he keeps causing issues and angering everyone he works with. If it's an issue with them being high on drugs you at least have the option to test them after the show and it most likely will come back with an incident then, but you can't do anything with someone who is perpetually drunk unless they act out backstage. Oh well, lol. I just think that once a company becomes National and is in more of a mainstream spotlight, they would have a zero tolerance policy in regards to working drunk or high, period. Imagine the backlash WWE would have if someone worked drunk and broke someone else's neck?
  24. You don't think being drunk period at work shouldn't create an incident? WWE Wellness policy prohibits alcohol usage within 12 hours of an event. If someone tests positive for alcohol, they are fined $2,500. It breaks immersion that I can't do anything about someone continuously performing drunk in front of 4 million people every week. What exactly does "crossing the line" mean exactly? WWE isn't going to ignore someone clearly being drunk or high during a match, just because he was chill backstage. You should be able to set a zero tolerance policy for a fair backstage rating penalty. I can understand if it works this way for gameplay purposes though.
