Flair addresses the crowd, telling them that last week was the best time he's had in a long time. Flair says he's almost glad the “Magnificent 7” turned on him, because it woke him out of his daze of complacency. He goes on to say that getting a new band of Horsemen together is what reinvigorated him to come back fighting, and not just lay down and bow to the “Elite Era”. Flair then goes on to say that last week's arrests on The Steiners, Luger and Bagwell was a reaction to his assault and kidnapping a few weeks ago. Flair said that matter is now in the hands of Law Enforcement and they have been released on bail. Flair says he will explain more about what actually went down soon, but he doesn't want to put a downer on the 300 Episode of Monday Night Nitro. Flair says that at the first Nitro, when he wrestles Sting, he wasn't sure where the show would be now, but he couldn't be prouder that it's reached another milestone. Flair then cuts himself short and says tonight is going to be action packed and he's needs to shut up. Flair says he will see everyone shortly when he is announcing his 5 competitors tonight in the 6 Ways to Hell match, but first he wants to welcome the following match, the staple of WCW, The Cruiserweight Championship. With that, flair exits the ring. http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/88.jpg </div> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/WCW%20Divider%20NEW.png <div style="background-color:#d9d9d9;color: #ff9930;border-style:solid;border-width:5px;max-width:960px;";"> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Championship%20Belts/Small/cruisersmall.png http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/Champions/%23CWreymysteriojr.jpghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/VS%20Red.pnghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/kazhayashi.jpg WCW Cruiserweight Championship Rey Mysterio vs Kaz Hayashi In a match where both competitors are hot off the heels of multiple successful matches, it's shown to be a great way to kick off the 300th episode of Nitro and help to showcase the pace at which the WCW Cruiserweight Championship is gaining traction in WCW fans eyes. Many are saying the recent reign’s of Sting and Rey Mysterio have helped rebuild championships which have been put back on the map. Kaz Hayashi put up a great fight and loses with honor after falling victim to a top-rope hurricanrana. Flair says although this might be his idea, he would like to offer Jarrett the opportunity to announce who his first choice for tonight's qualifiers is. Jarrett looks dubious but says he knows tonight is going to go in his favour tonight, because he has 5 of the best wrestlers in WCW, lined up and waiting. Jarrett then says his first competitor is one half of the Tag Team Champions, Lex Luger. Ric Flair then congratulates him on a good selection. Flair says it won't be a walk over, but he's still confident. Flair then names Booker T as the first opponent selected by himself. Both men then exit the stage, awaiting the entrances of their selections. http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/81.jpg </div> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/WCW%20Divider%20NEW.png <div style="background-color:#d9d9d9;color: #ff9930;border-style:solid;border-width:5px;max-width:960px;";"> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/bookert.jpghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/VS%20Red.pnghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/Champions/%23TAGlexluger.jpg 6 Ways to Hell - Qualifier Booker T vs Lex Luger After making their way to the ring, Booker and Luger kick off the match with a collar elbow tie up, with Luger on the winning end and boasting afterwards by flexing his muscles. The crowd is heavily behind Booker T throughout, although he doesn't gain much offence, as Luger proves to be a strong adversary on this 300th episode. With many flurys of offence by Booker, flawed by Luger. It's the final flury of them all, that results in a Book-end, which allows Booker to pick up the victory, in a pretty shocking manner after sustaining so much punishment throughout. Gene welcome them back after their short break, to which Palumbo thanks him. Palumbo says they had to take some time out and recuperate after losing their titles. Palumbo goes on to say that they were marked men in the eyes of what we now know is the Elite Era. O’Haire then begins to talk intensely about how they are not only taking back their gold, but taking back the future for themselves and everyone else under the age of “over the hill” and protect the future of the WCW Tag Team Championships. Gene asks them both is they are in a Championship winning mind frame, or just being optimistic, as the Elite Era is on an almost unstoppable roll at the moment. Palumbo says he knows Gene has to remain impartial and ask the questions no matter what, but Palumbo politely asks him not to doubt them, because 10 years from now, nobody will talk about “Totally Buffed”. All anyone will talk about in 2011 will be Chuck Palumbo and Sean O’Haire, the greatest tag team in WCW History. With that, both men high five and walk off. Gene goes to talk to camera, but O’hair quickly jumps into the shot and whispers into the microphone “Greatest of All Time!”. http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/61.jpg </div> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/WCW%20Divider%20NEW.png <div style="background-color:#d9d9d9;color: #ff9930;border-style:solid;border-width:5px;max-width:960px;";"> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/Staff/%23PRESricflair.jpghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/Staff/%23PRESjeffjarrett.jpg Once again, Ric Flair and Jeff Jarrett are on the stage to announce their next competitors to battle for qualification in the 6 Ways to Hell match. This time Flair says he would like to put forward one of his newest recruits and former WCW US, Cruiser, Hardcore champion, Lance Storm. Jarrett then proceeds to laugh and ask Flair is he has already run out of good competitors, questioning is he had already pulled his ace card, in Booker T. Jarrett then says he may as well announce he is putting Rick Steiner in the following match, and says he hopes that Storm at least makes it out of the match in onc peace, with a smirk on his face. http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/71.jpg </div> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/WCW%20Divider%20NEW.png <div style="background-color:#d9d9d9;color: #ff9930;border-style:solid;border-width:5px;max-width:960px;";"> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/lancestorm.jpghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/VS%20Red.pnghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/Champions/%23TVricksteiner.jpg 6 Ways to Hell - Qualifier Lance Storm vs Rick Steiner In a match that Jarrett implied would be a whitewash, it's pretty clear early on that Lance Storm is able to hold his own against the WCW TV Champion. At times it's pretty clear that the grizzled veteran in Steiner is getting annoyed with the amount Storm is fighting back. The match goes on for some time, with both men getting a decent amount of offence. The Elite Era thankful stay out of this match, but that doesn't stop Steiner attempting to use underhand tactics. After failing to get multiple pinfalls, Steiner goes to the corner to grab his collar to use as a weapon. As he does, Mark Jindrak comes running down to the ring, grabs the other end of the collar and has a tug of war with Steiner, one inside, the other outside the ring. After a quick tussle, Steiner lets go, causing Jindrak to fall backwards. Steiner then laughs and goes to turn around and continue his attack, when without hesitation, Lance Storm hits him under the chin with a Super Kick. Storm then rushes for the cover and gets the 3. Jarrett shakes the hand of Kanyon and whispers something in his ear, before setting him on his way to the ring. With that, Flair congratulates him, as Flair says he thinks highly of the future of Kanyon. Flair however says that tonight just won't be his night, as he has the monster of all challenges for him. Flair then goes on to say that after much legal wrangling, and going over the fine details of clauses, he is proud to welcome back and announce his selection… <iframe src="https://open.spotify.com/embed/track/238M15wsM7HA8YETTm8QGP" width="80" height="80" frameborder="0" allowtransparency="true" allow="encrypted-media"></iframe> Kevin Nash walks out onto the stage and shakes the Hand of Ric Flair, before gesturing to the live crowd and making his way to the ring in an arena full of cheers. http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/77.jpg </div> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/WCW%20Divider%20NEW.png <div style="background-color:#d9d9d9;color: #ff9930;border-style:solid;border-width:5px;max-width:960px;";"> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/kanyon.jpghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/VS%20Red.pnghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/kevinnash.jpg 6 Ways to Hell - Qualifier Kanyon vs Kevin Nash Nash gets off the mark immediately, laying a truck load of blows on Kanyon, forcing him into the corner, where the attack continues. Getting his first chance to reverse the offence, Kanyon kicks out the knee of Nash, who drops to one knee, allowing Kanyon to start fighting back. The whole match is based around Kanyon trying to keep Nash down, by using any method necessary to attack the knees. Kanyon looks impressive in the match, however it's the returning Nash who gets the last word as he manages to hit Kanyon with a devastating Jacknife Powerbomb. Earning a championship shot in his return match after many months of being excluded from WCW thanks to the Magnificent 7/Elite Era. Steiner gets in the ring with an iron bar and swings at Nash. Nash luckily avoids the attack by side stepping. Steiner then drops the bar as Nash clubs him in the back. Both men then brawl as the locker room officials empty out, into the ring and separate Steiner and Nash, who are both fighting tooth and nail to get their hands on eachother. Eventually officials manages to back both men far enough apart that Steiner is ushered up the ramp, while Nash is taken through the crowd, giving both of them enough distance between them. http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/100.jpg </div> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/WCW%20Divider%20NEW.png <div style="background-color:#d9d9d9;color: #ff9930;border-style:solid;border-width:5px;max-width:960px;";"> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/Staff/%23PRESricflair.jpghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/Staff/%23PRESjeffjarrett.jpg Once again, Flair and Jarrett are on the ramp to introduce who they have chosen next. Flair starts off and says that he has had a lot of time on his hands to reflect on past decisions and sometimes he has to tell himself he was wrong. With that, Flair introduces his choice, The Natural Dustin Rhodes. Jarrett shrugs his shoulders and says, oh well at least we know it's going to be 3-1 after this match, Dustin stands no chance against the awesome selection, Mike Awesome. http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/66.jpg </div> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/WCW%20Divider%20NEW.png <div style="background-color:#d9d9d9;color: #ff9930;border-style:solid;border-width:5px;max-width:960px;";"> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/dustinrhodes.jpghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/VS%20Red.pnghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/mikeawesome.jpg 6 Ways to Hell - Qualifier Dustin Rhodes vs Mike Awesome Kicking into high gear from the off, Mike Awesome lays hard blow after hard blow to Dustin. For the first half of the match, it's 100% Awesome, as he takes no prisoners in beating down Dustin time after time. The heart of the Rhodes family shines through as Dustin continues to get back to his feet to take more and more beatings. It's with that, Jeff Jarrett makes his way to the ring after Awesome fails to pick up multiple pinfalls. Jarrett screams at Awesome to get the job done, which is not taken too kindly by Awesome, who screams back at him to keep out of it and let him do his job. With that, Dustin manages to take advantage of the distraction and gain some small offence. Worried at ringside, Jarrett tries to get involved to help Awesome, but inadvertently costs Awesome the match by tripping up Awesome and not Dustin in the ring. Allowing Dustin to hit his finisher and pick up the victory. Leaving Jarrett frustrated and walking up the ramp. Flair says tonight is going to plan and says he was really proud of their showing last week as a team. Candido interrupts Flair and says he's feeling refreshed and can't wait to learn more from the nature boy. With that, Flair addresses AJ Styles. Flair says he has an idea that will test him next week. Without giving a clue as to what he means, Flair moves onto Storm and Jindrak. Flair says they did a job well earlier and as Storm now has a place in the Main event at New Blood Rising, he is now working on a match for Jindrak to showcase his skills at the PPV. Flair then shows his hand holding up all 4 fingers in the sign of the Horsemen. Sting says he knows things could have been a lot worse, as when the Elite Era has their target set on you, they don't let up that easily. Gene then asks what he next has in store, to which Sting says he will take every day as it comes, while the Elite Era are still in power. Gene then asks how he feels about WCW Nitro reaching 300 episodes, reminding him that he was on the rist and last episode that was on the “Other Network”. http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/kanyon.jpghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/mikeawesome.jpg With that there is some noise to the left of the shot and in comes Mike Awesome and Kanyon. FLair says he's not going to let up on Jarrett and says he is choosing the former World Heavyweight Champion and master of the Diamond Cutter, Diamond Dallas Page. A furious Jarrett says he doesn't know why Flair would chose DDP, he already came up short at Bash at the Beach against Scott Steiner. However he says he would like to see him lose again tonight and says he has chosen the other half of the Tag Team Champions, Buff Bagwell. http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/82.jpg </div> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/WCW%20Divider%20NEW.png <div style="background-color:#d9d9d9;color: #ff9930;border-style:solid;border-width:5px;max-width:960px;";"> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/ddp.jpghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/VS%20Red.pnghttp://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/Champions/%23TAGbuffbagwell.jpg 6 Ways to Hell - Qualifier Diamond Dallas Page vs Buff Bagwell Both men make their way to the ring, this time accompanied by Flair and Jarrett respectively. Flair and Jarrett take a seat at ringside to watch the match unfold. As DDP and Bagwell get into the match, it's clear that Jarrett and Flair cannot behave at ringside, as the referee in the ring calls for assistance from backstage to help keep an eye on the two Presidents of World Championship Wrestling. DDP and Bagwell are pretty evenly matched in this match, maybe slightly tipping the favour in the way of DDP, thanks to the roar of the crowd getting behind him at crucial moments. As the match rolls on it's evident that both Bagwell and Jarrett are desperate to win as both try to elude the attention of the referees and use underhand tactics to gain an advantage or better, a win. However with 2 referees now at ringside it proves impossible as Jarrett's attempt to slide the WCW Tag Team Belt into the ring doesn't go unnoticed and gets him ejected from ringside. This leaves Bagwell fighting alone, and it's not long before he falls victim to the Diamond Cutter and gives Ric Flair a clean 5-0 victories and DDP another shot at the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in 3 weeks at WCW New Blood Rising. Jarrett says it's only the second week of Flair being back in WCW and he is already sick of the sight of him. Jarrett says that when he took out Flair, it was because WCW wasn't big enough for the two of them and that still stands. Jarrett says he can't fire Flair, because they are at the same pay grade, but he can at least try to amend the way things work. Jarrett challenges Flair to a match and says he wants everything to be on the table. Jarrett says he wants Flair to put his position as President on the line at New Blood Rising. Flair then asks Jarrett to do the same, but Jarrett says he’s got a much better idea what he could put on the line. Jarrett says if he wins, Flair relinquishes his position in WCW and if Flair wins, which he won't. He will then allow Flair to challenge Scott Steiner for the WCW Championship. Flair laughs at Jarrett and calls him delusional, Flair says he doesn't need to battle Jarrett to get a title shot, just like Jarrett didn't need to earn his shots at the WCW United States Championship. Flair then calls Jarrett the biggest wimp in the history of WCW, but Jarrett doesn't bite. Jarrett simple states that he's smarter than Flair. While Flair was out wheeling and dealing, he was educating himself in the business and learning from the business. In the end both men fail to meet a reasonable agreement and Jarrett goes to leave the stage. Flair then tells him to stop and offers him a second opportunity. Flair says how about they make their match something special, Flair offers him a Street Fight. Flair says if Jarrett really wants him gone, he's going to have to beat him so bad, he can't make it into work the night after for Nitro. Jarrett then smiles and says he is more than willing to accept that, telling Flair he has just backed himself into a corner that he cannot get out of. Flair and Jarrett then have a stare down as the titles roll. http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/99.jpg </div> http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/WCW%20Divider%20NEW.png Show Rating http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/83.jpg http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/News/mnwresults2.jpg WWF 43.14 vs WCW 11.48 </div>

To which the crowd cheers, as Jarrett gets more agitated, Jarrett reminds the fans he's the President of WCW and they should show him a little more respect.</p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/ricflair.jpg</span></p><p> With that, Ric Flair makes his way out to the top of the ramp. Flair says Jarrett is President on a technicality and that he is the original President of WCW and he will be the sole President once the legal issues have been sorted out. Flair says that the attack that took him out was cowardly and if Jarrett really wanted him gone and wanted to have his position of power, he should have done it face to face. He says that luckily they didn't do any lasting damage, so in the interest of WCW he will forgive, but he certainly won't forget. Flair then says for now, they both have to get along and run WCW, which is when Flair says he has 4 friends who are more than willing to help them keep control in WCW. Jarrett expresses his disappointment at the outcome of last nights Bash at the BEach PPV, but says they have to clean the slate and start all over again. Jarrett directs the troops to take down Flair and the “Nu-Horsemen” after their actions last night. Chavo then asks about what happens to Kevin Nash, to which Scott Steiner replied by saying his a** got fired but he can't keep his nose out of their business and maybe they need to make an example of him. Jarrett says he will invite Nash to Nitro next week for the 300th episode. He says that he will give him the option of walking out the arena or being carried out.</p><p> Jarrett turns his attentions back to Flair and tells everyone in the room that although they have to work together, they will play the smart game and trick him into thinking they are willing to work together on the greater good, but slowly pick apart his authority and friends. Jarrett says it has the be a slow attack, targeting key strategic moments. Taking down potential allies of Ric Flair and opinionated members of the locker room. With that, Scott Steiner stands up and says he wants to kick it off by taking down either Konnan or Hugh Morrus as they are the voice of the locker room and could prove a problem in the future if they don't silence them immediately. Jarrett agrees and says he will let Konnan and Morrus know immediately that they have a match, Next. With that, the camera cuts to outside the locker room, as the camera catches Arn Anderson outside listening to everything that was being said.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/89.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/WHC/scottsteinerWHC.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/vs.png</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/konnan.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>Scott Steiner vs Konnan</strong></p><p> </p><p> In a brutal showing of strength, Steiner provides 90% of the offence in a match set to silence any uprising from the locker room against the Elite Era. Flair comes out to the top of the stage and begins to address the live crowd. Flair says that yet again the Elite Era have let themselves down. Flair calls them amateurs for not even being able to organise a plan, let alone execute it without the world finding out. Flair says that seems as he’s back and already they are planning to take him down, he may as well strike back. Flair then says that there is one way he knows how to make them suffer, thats to take away the WCW World Heavyweight Championship from the Elite Era.</p><p> He says he has spent weeks nursing his body and his ego, so he's had plenty of time to hatch a plan of revenge. Flair then says that he would like to introduce the wcw fans to “6 Ways to Hell”. He then points to the titantron screen where an image of a structure, resembling the “Competitions” Hell In a Cell, but without a roof, just a large open shell. Flair says that Scott Steiner will be defending his championship inside the structure come WCW New Blood Rising. Flair says he will have to face 5 other opponents in the match and the only way Steiner can win is by escaping the structure. Flair says that next week on the 300th episode of Nitro, he will chose 5 men and Jarrett can chose 5 men. Each man will face off in 5 qualifier matches, the winners will qualify for the 6 Ways to Hell match. The crowd then cheers as Flair makes his way backstage.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/100.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/kazhayashi.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/vs.png</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/aguila.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>Kaz Hayashi vs Aguila</strong></p><p> </p><p> Another decent Cruiserweight match in which Kaz once again continues his streak of winning decisively. </p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Kaz Hayashi</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 6:45</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/49.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/ricflair.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/arnanderson.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/markjindrak.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/lancestorm.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/ajstyles.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/chriscandido.jpg</span></p><p> Backstage Ric Flair is talking to the members of his Nu-Horsemen, offering them words of encouragement alongside Arn Anderson. Flair thanks them for joining his cause over the past few weeks. Flair singles out Mark Jindrak who has been fighting against the Elite Era on his own for some tim. Jindrak thanks Flair for bestowing the title of Horsemen on them, saying that the names comes with a lot of bragging rights at the bar, with the ladies after the show. Flair then addresses Chris Candido, saying his first run in WCW was out of his hands, but the potential he seen in him was so great, he wouldn't let his talents go unrewarded. Flair then says Lance Storm is the best technical wrestler in WCW today and at his young age is already considered a veteran backstage. Flair says he sees a bright future in Storm and asks him if he thinks Mike Awesome is done with him yet. Storm says he and Awesome are finished in his book, but with the Elite Era using him as a pawn a few weeks ago, he's not sure if Awesome has buried the hatchet yet. Flair then turns his attention to AJ Styles, Flair calls him a star in the making, saying he has the potential to go far under their tutelage. Flair then addresses the issue of his partner Air Paris, saying that he would have been a welcomed addition to the group, and that when his fit and well, he can “Roll with the boys”. AJ thanks Flair for the chance at making a future for himself, he also says that he will give his all and not go down without a fight. Arn Anderson then gives all 4 a piece of advice. Anderson tells them to think of each other as family, that nobody is ever on their own when they have their fellow horsemen around. The match is pretty even though out, even with the bodies of Luger and Bagwell still recovering from an earlier attack. The end of the match proves to be somewhat controversial, as WCW World Heavyweight Champion Scott Steiner once again shows his face at ringside, this time, taking Mysterio out through the crowd with him, as the referee is distracted, unable to see what's happened. 9. Thanks Neighbor:p, i should give you some recognition here... you have helped me this week. Solved a problem and allowed me to get back to the serious job of writing . The Horsemen are back... Who else would fit a Ric Flair revenge plot? The "Radicals" are all currently under contract with WWF . The reveal of who it is wont be a huge drawn out story... Its a "Fresh" Horsemen group which will all be revealed. The Women's division is a LONG! way off at the moment. WCW obliterated an easy start in 2000 when it released the likes of Mona (Molly Holly). Its a long road back. WCW Cruiserweight Division is likely the saving grace of the company, but its in need of a kick in the behind thanks to losing big stars of the division. Kidman, Chavo and Rey are certainly the best CW ever, but i Guess its time to make names for the future. 1) ECW was out of business due to bankruptcy. Tazz was already signed to WWF, along with Paul Heyman, Dudleys, Rhino, Richards, Dreamer... but its other talent are still "Free Agents" 2) AJ, AJ, AJ... Well the plans for him and Air Paris are somewhat upset, but his future is still going in the same direction as planned, just in a solo form. The team was in for a push to the titles, so it sort of screws up the story... SHHHH... but it will make sense 3) Lance Storm is an in ring star, He can work with almost everyone. His glass ceiling is yet to be found. But you may be pleasantly surprised 4) Right Now WCW is at Cult level and pulling in 600k+ a month, so the money is there, its just waiting for the opportunity to steal. None of the big star's deals have come up for renewal yet, HOWEVER! WCW may have just won a contract war with the WWF for someone who may just show up at New Blood Rising Hope that answers enough without giving anything at all away . Now to get to Nitro 300 where i can begin to relax P.S... thanks again for the help

Once the Referee manages to pull Steiner away from DDP, he asks DDP if h is ready to start the match, before he rings the bell. As the bell rings, Steiner continues the attack and takes it outside. Using the help of Midajah, Steiner is able to get more than the 10 count outside to continue his onslaught. The first 3 minutes of the match is outside the ring, with the help of Midajah and continuous rolling in and out of the ringto break the count. The attack outside only stops when Steiner gets his tights pulled by a dowed DDP, causing him to go head first into the ringpost. Both men manage to make it back into the ring before the 10-count, and DDP begins his first onslaught of offence. The match levels out slowly and turns into a pretty decent showing of skill. Steiner gets a great Heel reception throughout and the closing moments of the match provide the biggest reaction for steiner of the whole match, as Midajah causes a distraction on the apron, as Steiner low blows DDP from behind and as DDP drops to the mat, he locks in the Recliner. After a few moments of it being locked in, the referee calls for the end of the match as the arm of DDP falls to the match 3 times.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Scott Steiner</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 16:35</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/81.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/zmyykh.jpg</span></p><p> The Video of the “Revenge is Coming” countdown airs again, with just over 2 hours remaining on the clock.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/80.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Event%20Graphics/2001%2007%20Bash%20At%20The%20Beach/wcwbatbstormawesome.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>Mike Awesome vs Lance Storm</strong></p><p> </p><p> Back in the ring for the second of tonight’s matches and it's the face off between the two former members of Team Canada once again. Since the set up, Awesome has been on a path of destruction when it comes to Storm, even stooping so low as to work alongside the Elite Era. The match opens with a lot of animosity on show, with both wrestlers taking it straight to the floow, rolling around, throwing mounted punches on each other, before the referee forces them to stop and make it back to their feet. Storm shows of his speed and technical skill, outmaneuvering the big man when ever he has the chance, while Awesome manages to even the field with th harder hitting, more powerful moves, grounding Storm on multiple occasions. The match is evenly fought and nobody comes out of the match looking weak, however it's a Superkick to the chin of Awesome that lands him out cold on the mat, leading to Storm picking up the 1-2-3 for the second PPV in a row.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Lance Storm</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 11:40</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/75.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/jeffjarrett.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/chriskanyon.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/chavoguerrero.jpg</span></p><p> Backstage Jeff Jarrett is seen standing up, talking to both Kanyon and Chavo Guerrero who are sat down on a production crate in the corridor of the arena. After facing 3 teams in 1 night to even get the shot tonight, it's surprising the Locker Room Leaders have made it to tonight in one Piece. Following the recent success of Totally Buffed and their rise to the tag titles, it's no surprise that they get the match off to solid start. The Muscular power of Luger against the heart of Morrus proves to be no match at the beginning. It's not until the match rolls on that the heart and the never say die attitude of both Konnan and Morrus shines through as the greatest skill possible, after both members face an onslaught from Luger and Bagwell, barely getting offence in between the vicious and cruel attacks from Luger and Bagwell. The closing moments allow the fans to see the frustration on the faces of Totally Buffed, as they fail time and time again to get a 3-count for the win. Thanks to a quick flurry of offence at the hands of Konnan, the crowd for a moment believes we will see new tag team champions. Sadly this doesn't become the reality as a double team from Totally Buffed manages to finally seal the fate of the Locker Room Leaders as Bagwell pins Konnan for the victory, successfully retaining their titles.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Buff Bagwell</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 13:48</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/76.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> After the Match, Bagwell and Luger celebrate in the ring as Morrus and Konnan are being helped to the back, when the music hits… </p><p> <iframe src="<a href="https://open.spotify.com/embed/track/5DY6Z4uCpSBcRnocpHMb7n" rel="external nofollow">https://open.spotify.com/embed/track/5DY6Z4uCpSBcRnocpHMb7n"</a> allowtransparency="true" allow="encrypted-media" width="300" height="80" frameborder="0"></iframe></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/chuckpalumbo.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/seanohaire.jpg</span></p><p> Then down to the ring comes O’Haire and Palumbo who haven't been seen since losing their Tag Team Championships at the Great American Bash. The cost however is his future in WCW, as the match came with the stipulation that Animal must leave WCW is he loses. This all comes off the back of a former partnership in which Animal and the Elite Era were guilty of the masked attacks together. Since the now renamed Elite Era turned their back on their former friend, Animal has been trying to recompense for his actions and just last week buried the hatchet with Mark Jindrak. As both men stand in the ring, as the referee raises the title and warns both men of the rules, Midajah walks down to ringside and stands in the corner of Rick Steiner. As the match begins, it's pretty clear is no technical master class as fists are thrown and each man slams eachother to the mat. Multiple times in the match, Midajah is seen trying to distract both the referee and Animal. Around the 7th minute of the match, the referee is once again distracted by Midajah and decides to eject her from ringside, in doing so, he escorts her up the ramp, allowing Steiner time to get is metal studded dog collar from ringside, wrap it round his fist and get back in the ring. As Animal is on his knees, he spots what Steiner is doing and pleads for him to show come mercy. Steiner smiles as his fist connects with the side of the head of Animal. Steiner then throws the dog collar from his hand to the outside, yells for the referee and drops to his knees for the pin. As the referee runs and slides into the ring, he counts the 3, as a smug Steiner raises his head and taunts the audience. Animal is helped from the ring by WCW staff to a chorus of cheers as he leaves the arena.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Rick Steiner</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 9:08</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/59.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Event%20Graphics/2001%2007%20Bash%20At%20The%20Beach/wcwbatbstacytorrie.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>Stacy Keibler vs Torrie Wilson</strong></p><p> </p><p> In a match with very little wrestling involved, Keibler and Wilson get into a cat fight and throw plenty of slaps while rolling around on the floor. Stacy grabs Kidman and plants a kiss straight on his lips. As she does, a shocked Wilson grabs her by the hair and drags her off Kidman. Rey asks what he's doing here and Nash shows him a visitors pass. Nash says he’s tried every way possible to get back into WCW but Steiner, Jarrett and the Elite Era have put roadblock after roadblock in his path. Nash says he knows he and Rey have never seen eye to eye, but after the way things have gone tonight, with the Elite Era steamrolling their way through every match so far tonight, he wanted to come and offer his support to Mysterio and hopefully help him stem the rot. Mystrio thanks him and says he knows there is a big target on his back from the Elite Era, because they want all the gold. Nash then pulls out something from inside his jacket pocket and hands it to Mysterio. Rey opens it up to find his old mask. Nash says the Rey he fought years ago is the Rey WCW needs tonight, that he may have made take off the mask, but he's here to offer it back to him as a boost to his momentum going into tonight. Rey offers his hand in thanks and both men continue to talk, with Nash hyping him up as the camera cuts to ringside.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/79.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Event%20Graphics/2001%2007%20Bash%20At%20The%20Beach/wcwbatbbookerkanyon.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>Booker T vs Kanyon</strong></p><p> </p><p> Following on from some recent defeats at the hands of Scott Steiner, Booker T now takes on the Challenge of battling the right hand man to the Elite Era. As Kanyon makes his way to the ring, he's wearing the t-shirt supporting the logo of the Elite Era, unsurprisingly this doesn't go down well with Booker T who is already waiting in the ring. Both men get face to face before the bell and Booker rips the t-shirt off the body of Kanyon before the bell rings. As the referee fights to separate them, he gets a split second of calm before calling for the bell, which starts the madness. Booker and Kanyon perform very well in the match and tell a continuous story of Kanyon trying to bust open the head of Booker, without getting DQ’d, in order to please Scott Steiner and get the “blood on his hands”. Kanyon manages to bust open Booker towards the end of the match, after removing the top turnbuckle and slamming his face into it. Sadly for Kanyon, the sight of his own blood doesn't dampen Bookers effort, it actually provides the much needed fire in his stomach to overcome the offence and hit Kanyon with a Bookend to pick up the victory. </p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Booker T</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 16:47</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/76.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/zmyykh.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> The Video of the “Revenge is Coming” countdown airs again, with just under 1 hour remaining on the clock.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/75.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Event%20Graphics/2001%2007%20Bash%20At%20The%20Beach/wcwbatbcw.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>WCW Cruiserweight Championship</strong></p><p><strong> Rey Mysterio © vs Chavo Guerrero</strong></p><p> </p><p> Before both men make their way to the ring, Scott Steiner makes his way to the ring with the WCW Cruiserweight Championship in his hands and hands it to the referee. Now the entrances start with Chavo who also comes to the ring wearing the t-shirt of the Elite Era and walks around the ring to Steiner and talks to him briefly before entering the ring. That's when the music of Rey Mysterio starts and out he pops from behind the curtain with his mask on, to a huge reaction from the live audience. Mysterio and Chavo put on a great spectacle in the ring and really showcase what the cruiserweights are all about. Mysterio however gets the advantage towards the end and hits his finisher on Chavo to go for th win. This is however when Steiner pulls the referee from the ring and argues with him. Mysterio then gets to his feet in the ring and runs, jumping over the top rope and attacks Steiner. Steiner however catches Mysterio, but before he can do anything. The crowd erupts as Kevin Nash walks through the crowd. Steiner drops Mysterio to the ground and walks to the barricade and argues with nash, telling him he's no part of WCW anymore. Nash shows Steiner his ticket before the pair continue to argue. Meanwhile Mysterio has made it back into the ring and hits his finisher cone again on Chavo, this time with the referee unhindered, he picks up the win, retains his championship and gets chased out of the Ring by Scott Steiner when he realises what has happened. Mysterio then hops the rail as he celebrates with Kevin Nash in the crowd.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Rey Mysterio</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 11:34</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/77.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Event%20Graphics/2001%2007%20Bash%20At%20The%20Beach/wcwbatbus.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>WCW United States Heavyweight Championship</strong></p><p><strong> Sting © vs Jeff Jarrett</strong></p><p> </p><p> Before the match, a video package airs, hyping the history of the feud and the way Jarrett named himself #1 Contender. Jarrett is first out to the ring and begins pacing the mat while waiting for the arrival of Sting. Once he music of Sting hits, the crowd erupts the loudest it has all night. Sting makes his way to the ring with the WCW US Championship round his waist, not taking his eyes off of Jarrett the whole way down the ramp. As the match gets started, the commentators not how this might actually be the first time tonight we don't see someone of the Elite Era get involved in a match. As they joke, Jarrett begins to play dirty tactics, distracting the referee and placing a thumb in the eye of Sting. Jarrett fails to play fair the whole match, even going so far as to pretend to remove the turnbuckle pad and then as the referee turns his back to place the pad back on securely, he kicks Sting between the legs.</p><p> Around the 16 minute mark, the titantron screen cuts to a camera in the backstage area, where 5 masked men are seen beating down Scott, Rick, Luger and Bagwell. The camera focuses on the downed men as one of the assailants throws his mask to the floor and leaves the room. The 4 remaining masked assailants then exit the room, close the door and park a nearby forklift truck in front of the door, before taking off in the direction that the 5th member took just moments ago.</p><p> A shaken Jarrett then proceeds to putt even more dirty tactics as he pulls the referee in front of him, just as Sting is about to hit him. This allows Jarrett to kick Sting in the Knee and drop him to the mat, allowing Jarrett time to go outside and grab a Chair. DDP Gets into the ring and takes to the microphone. He says 2001 hasn't been his best year, but things are about to change. DDP says he won't let the Elite Era take over WCW and he plans to take the World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday as the first strike in the war to take them down. With that Scott Steiner comes to the stake with Midajah in toe. Steiner calls DDP the “saviour of nobody” as he says that DDP doesn't stand a chance. Steiner tells DPP that Sunday is just a formality for him, that DPP is just another token #1 contender who is there to fill seats and cement his and the Elite Era’s Legacy. DDP cuts Steiner off and tells him to shut up and save it for Sunday, because he is going to do all his talking in the ring, when he embarrases the champion. Midajah then steps in front of Steiner and starts pushing him back to behind the curtain. DPP then says “That's the way, hide behind the tougher half of the partnership”. With that Steiner pushes Midajah aside and goes to walk to the ring, but turns around half way down the ramp, links arms with Midajah and walks to the back with a smug grin on his face. DDP then drops the microphone, throws up the diamond cutter sign before the show goes to commercial. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/85.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Championship%20Belts/Small/cruisersmall.png</span></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/CW/reymysterioUS.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/vs.png</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/elixskipper.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>Cruiserweight Championship - Open</strong></p><p> <strong>Rey Mysterio vs Elix Skipper</strong></p><p> </p><p> Back from commercial break and in the ring is the WCW Cruiserweight Champion, Rey Mysterio, awaiting his Cruiserweight Open challenger this week. With that, out comes Elix Skipper, the Primetime athlete of WCW. In another good showing of the cruiserweight division in WCW, both men put on a great showing of fast and high-flying maneuvers. Teaming with a former ally of their opponents, Road Warrior Animal awkwardly joins the team he had previously helped to embarrass not a few weeks ago. Although an awkward pairing, they work well together in taking down the TV and Tag Team Champions. With the TV title back in action and Animals career on the line this sunday, it's no surprise that the Road Warrior came out swinging tonight. The adrenaline filled attack however led to the downfall as Animal was so hell bent on revenge, that he took his eyes off the ball and allowed Bagwell to blind tag into the ring and roll him up for the 3 count.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Buff Bagwell</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 7:51</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/59.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/jeffjarrett.jpg</span></p><p> Backstage Jeff Jarrett is alone in his office with a TV Camera. Jarrett looks down the camera and tells Rey Mysterio and Sting that this Sunday they have to stay within the rules as he has made stipulations to their matches, where the champion can lose the title under a DQ or Countout finnish. Jarrett also says that to spice things up, he is also adding the stipulation that if The Locker Room Leaders lose, they cannot have a rematch for the titles while they belong to the Elite Era. Finally Jarrett says that if DDP loses at Bash at the Beach, he will make DDP start off at the bottom of the ladder and make him work up before he ever sees another Championship match.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/91.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/chriskanyon.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/vs.png</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/lancestorm.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>Kanyon vs Lance Storm</strong></p><p> </p><p> After the split from his tag partner, Storm is now going at it alone in WCW, however crossing paths with the Elite Era’s hired help tonight may be a lot to chew off so soon. Both men put up a good fight, with Kanyon seemingly using Storm as practice for his match this Sunday against Booker T. Although a good match, the ending is spoilt when Mike Awesome appears on the ramp and distracts Storm long enough to allow Kanyon to hit the Flatliner for victory.</p><p> Mike Awesome distraction</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Kanyon</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 8:45</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/72.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/mikeawesome.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/lancestorm.jpg</span></p><p> After the match, Mike Awesome slowly walks to the ring, and stands over Storm. Booker says the deck has been stacked against him in recent weeks thanks to the Magnificent 7, Now that they are calling themselves “The Elite Era” things haven't changed. He is still fighting the battle against the very men who have done all they can to tarnish his name and keep him from regaining his World Heavyweight Championship. Booker says that this sunday he will have to take out a pawn in the game with the Elite Era, the lackey of the Elite, Kanyon. Gene asks if Booker thinks he will get a fair fight Sunday or will he have to face some kind of Elite Era underhand tactics. Booker says he has no doubt they will stack the deck against him, just like they will with everyone else on their radar of a WCW takeover. Jarrett thanks them both for coming and offers them a seat. Jarrett says that they have all been talking and everyone is really pleased with the loyalty they are both showing to the Elite Era. Jarrett says that after a long discussion they would like to offer them a place in the Elite Era, so long as this sunday they come back victorious and cause humiliation against Mysterio and Booker. Chavo, with the Cruiserweight title on his shoulder, says he's already set the wheels in motion of taking the Cruiserweight title, he just needs to complete the formalities this Sunday. He then shakes the hand of Jarrett, Scott, Rick, Bagwell and Luger, before standing up and leaving the room. Scott Steiner then stands up and gets close into the face of Kanyon. Steiner says he wants to see Booker suffer and bleed, he asks him to at least promise that. Kanyon says he will give Booker a beating that he's never seen before. Steiner then offers his hand, Kanyon shakes it as Steiner pulls him in close and tells him that he doesn't like it when people break promises. With all 4 men former World Heavyweight Champions. As the match kicks off, it's pretty evenly balances, it's not long however before Rick Steiner, Bagwell and Luger make their way to ringside and stand in the corner with the time keeper. Although not getting involved in the match, the 3 men outside prove a distraction throughout the match, leading to many spots where DDP of Sting will verbally warn them to “stay out of it”. Jarrett and DDP are the legal men, but while Jarrett is down, Steiner gets in the ring, behind the back of the referee. It's then that DDP spots Steiner and hits a Diamond Cutter to Steiner that changes the pace of the match, as the 3 men outside quickly grab his arm and leg, to pull him out of the ring. However as Jarrett gets back to his feet in the ring and goes to attack DDP from behind, Sting gets in the ring before it can happen and drops Jarrett with a Scorpion Death Drop, before DDP goes for the pinfall and the victory.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: DDP</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 12:56</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/79.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/jeffjarrett.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/WHC/scottsteinerWHC.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/ricksteiner.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/TAG/buffbagwellTAG.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/TAG/lexlugerTAG.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/chavoguerrero.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/chriskanyon.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/ddp.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/US/stingUS.jpg</span></p><p> After the match the Elite Era rush into the ring to attack DDP and Sting, however they get out of the ring before the attack. Jarrett has a microphone and egins addressing the crowd. Jarrett calls everyone fools and says he knew he would have everyone looking in the wrong direction while he was planning their takeover of WCW. Jarrett says that they have spent months backing up the crazy antics of Ric Flair, getting involved in silly and pointless feuds and matches just because Flair couldn't control himself. Jarrett says that's when they all came up with the plan to take him out and take over WCW for themselves. Jarrett says Road Warrior Animal was in on it all along, but he has been proving to be a disappointment and last week they had to cut the weakest link, from the chain. Jarrett says the Name of the Magnificent 7 was a complete joke, thought up by the Crazed mind of a mad man in power (Flair). He says they shall now on be know by what they truly are, the Elite of their Era in professional wrestling. Jarrett then goes on to say that, the attack on Bischoff last week wasn't a plan they had all along, but the opportunity arose and it seemed too good to ignore. He says from now on the only man in charge in WCW is him, and you will see tonight that the change will be for the better. Jarrett then thanks his fellow teammates and all 5 pose in the ring, before the show cuts to a commercial</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/92.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Championship%20Belts/Small/cruisersmall.png</span></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/CW/reymysterioUS.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/vs.png</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/Indy/supercrazyindy.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>WCW Cruiserweight Championship - Open</strong></p><p> <strong>Rey Mysterio vs Super Crazy</strong></p><p> </p><p> In the second week of the open challenge, Rey Mysterio is faced with a Lucha star, Super Crazy. Jarrett says he's looking to reclaim all the gold in WCW to make the lineage pure from the egotistical champions of it's past. Jarrett asks Chavo if he is up to the job. Chavo says he is more than up to it, and even goes as far as to offer his guarantee of a win. Jarrett then says he will soon be showered in gold, with the US Title, after he humiliates Sting at Bash at the Beach. Jarrett then says “What about you Rick”, to which Rick looks puzzled. That's when the music of Scott Steiner hits and out he walks with a red velveted back in his hand. Jarrett turns his attention back to Rick and says he should be proud of himself, he is by far the best WCW TV Champion in the history of the company, that's why they have this present for him. Rick then opens the bag brought to the ring by Scott, inside is the WCW TV Title. Jarrett says that now, after Sunday, they can all be Champions. Animal challenges Rick Steiner to his newly awarded TV Title. Jarrett interjects and asks why he thinks he deserves a shot, he is the biggest loser in the company. Animal says he doesn't care about #1 contender slots, he says he wants to take the “Elite Era” down to earth with a thud. Animal says he will put his job in WCW on the line for a shot at the title. When it turns out that 3 Count is who they have to go through, they seem to be a little shocked. The match gets underway and it turns into a pretty decent bout. It's the Locker Room Leaders who pick up the victory after Morrus pins Karagias after a Powerbomb.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Hugh Morrus</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 6:45</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/59.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/jeffjarrett.jpg</span></p><p> Immediately after the win, Jarrett’s music hits and he walks out onto the ramp and congratulates Morrus and Konnan. Arguably the biggest heel in the company vs the biggest face. In what is a great match for a WCW NItro Television match, both men put on an excellent performance, with Steiner really playing on his heel tendencies. The match has the crowd engaged all the way through and both men prove why they are the top champions in WCW. The end comes when Jeff Jarrett maked his way to ringside and steps into the ring and gets into Stings face. While the referee is hands on with Jarrett, removing him from the ring, Steiner hits Sting with a low blow from behind. Jarrett then immediately leaves the ring, allowing the referee to turn around and see the pinfall. The referee then counts the 3, oblivious to what just went down.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Scott Steiner</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong>Time: 15:37</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/80.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/jeffjarrett.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/US/stingUS.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/WHC/scottsteinerWHC.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/ricksteiner.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/TAG/buffbagwellTAG.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/TAG/lexlugerTAG.jpg</span></p><p> Immediately following the match, Jarrett gets back into the ring and stomps on Sting. 18. If the storys and writing gets that bad... at least i know i can fall back on the graphics I think the way i was seeing it... Lash, Jett, Romeo, Funk... were all "Future" stars of the old WCW and just didn't "Cut the mustard" for the future. With them gone, it makes more room on the roster, in the future, for more youthful talent. The cuts were with foresight and the bank balance. Over the next few weeks/months there will be new faces that hopefully fit better. Also nobody too radical or changes that are too far from the "WCW style" . I'm hoping to keep things smooth through a change

With that, the Arena lights go out and the music hits…</p><p> <iframe src="<a href="https://open.spotify.com/embed/track/2SWXURCOtfi6OBryFIrzgb" rel="external nofollow">https://open.spotify.com/embed/track/2SWXURCOtfi6OBryFIrzgb"</a> allowtransparency="true" allow="encrypted-media" width="300" height="80" frameborder="0"></iframe></p><p> The lights then come back on, to show 5 masked assailants all in black. A shocked and shaken Bischoff then drops the microphone and begs them to show him mercy. With that all 5 men jump the WCW C.E.O, with one member seemingly directing traffic, they send one out to get a table. While getting the table the WCW Security guards, referees and agents rush to the ring to save the C.E.O but all 5 clear the ring of tall the back up. They then proceed to set up the table and put the C.E.O of WCW through the tables with a vicious Powerbomb. The lights then go out again, and when they come back on, all 5 men are standing in the ring, with their masks in hand, revealing themselves as none other than Jeff Jarrett, Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, Lex Luger and Buff Bagwell. Who all show a new hand signal in what looks like a double “E”, as they scream down the camera shouting “We are the Elite Era of WCW!”. The Show then ends with all 5 members standing over the lifeless body of the WCW C.E.O Eric Bischoff.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/82.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <iframe src="<a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/m1_Ac5OW-B8?showinfo=0" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/m1_Ac5OW-B8?showinfo=0"</a> allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen="" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0"></iframe></p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Show Rating</strong></span></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/83.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/Nitro/mnwresults.jpg</span></p><p> <span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>WWF 40.11 - vs WCW 8.43 +</strong></span></p></div><p></p><p></p>

Through the match, the offense is quite balanced without anyone dominating the proceedings. Although Animal remains in the corner and doesn't interfere through the whole of the match. The second the bell rings, Douglas exits the ring and walks around the ring. After getting to a 9 count, he enters the ring again, only to do the same again. He does this once more until the champ has enough and follows him out. With that Douglas immediately blindsides Sting and runs him straight into the guardrail. Douglas then proceeds to bead down Sting outside the ring, rolling in at the count of 9 every time and back out, to break the 10 count. After a good 6 minutes, Douglas rolls Sting back into the ring and attempts the pin. Sting however kicks out and the beatdown then continues in the ring. The match goes past the 10 min mark and the fans are booing heavily as Sting has yet to mount any offence after the earlier attacks outside. With that, frustrated not to have won already, Douglas goes off his script and goes to the top rope. Douglas then jumps and tries to hit Sting with a Flying Elbow. However Sting moves and it's from there that the Icon mounts his comeback slowly. The finnish comes as sting misses a Stinger Splash, Douglas then goes to hit Sting with his own finisher, but gets reversed and Sting manages to drop Douglas with the Scorpion Death Drop to pick up the 3 count.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Sting</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong> Time: 17:04</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/77.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/ericbischoff.jpg</span><span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/bookert.jpg</span></p><p> Backstage WCW C.E.O calls Booker T into his office. Bischoff tells Booker that he has his eye on him tonight, that all the mud being flung at Booker T cannot just be a coincidence. Bischoff says that if Booker wants to keep his job after Monday, he best come clean within the next 24 hours or face losing his job and position in WCW forever. Booker tries to explain to Bischoff that he is innocent, but Bischoff says he doesn't care for the lies. Bischoff says he is giving Booker the chance to come clean and have no repercussions. Booker then stands up and thanks Mr Bischoff for his time, but tells him he's not understanding that he is innocent and doesn't need any promise. Booker then walks out as Bischoff shouts repeatedly… 24 Hours, 24 Hours, 24 Hours</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/100.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Event%20Graphics/2001%2006%20Great%20American%20Bash/gabkanyonmiller.jpg</span></p><p> <strong>Ernest Miller vs Kanyon</strong></p><p> </p><p> In a match where the two men have been at each other for months. They have both agreed to one more match to end it all. As we are watching the match, Mike Tenay tells us that they both agreed to stipulations before the match, at the outcome. If Miller wins, M.I. Smooth is free to return, but if Kanyon wins, Miller owes him a “Favour” he can cash in at any time. Both men put on a good showing in the ring and work well together. Although the match goes past the 10 min mark, it's mostly slow pace action, dictated by Kanyon. Kanyon toys with Miller until finally pinning him, banking himself a future favour that Miller can't call in his momma for backup with.</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Kanyon</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong> Time: 12:20</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/70.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Event%20Graphics/2001%2006%20Great%20American%20Bash/gabflairvsrhodes.jpg</span></p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Team Flair vs Team Rhodes</span></strong></p><p> <strong> Jeff Jarrett, Road Warrior Animal and Rick Steiner vs Dusty Rhodes, Dustin Rhodes and The Locker Room Leaders</strong></p><p> </p><p> First to the ring is team Dusty, who all look in high spirits knowing what's on the line and that they now only have to face 3 members of the Magnificent 7. The stipulation of if Dusty loses, he is banished from WCW and if Flair loses, Dusty is allowed to work in peace forever, still stands even though Flair is no longer in the match. Out come Jarrett, Steiner and Animal who are outnumbered tonight and are battling on behalf of their leader and friend Ric Flair. The match gets off to a good start for Team Flair as they work well as a unit. Team Rhodes are acting like a 3 man team as Dusty doesn't stand on the apron and is on the floor asking like their manager. As the match goes on, Jarrett and Dustin finally get a chance to get face to face. They trade some heavy blows before Jarrett hits the Stroke. Dustin is saved by Konan and the battle continues. Eventually Animal tags in with Konan, and after a short scuffle, all hell breaks loose and everyone is in the ring except Dusty. In the confusion, Dusty gets up onto the apron in the corner and gets Konan to tag him in. With that, Dusty gets in the ring and hits the Bionic Elbow on Animal and pins him clean in the ring for the 1-2-3</p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Dusty Rhodes</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong> Time: 12:01</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/64.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> Video hyping the Main Event Airs</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/76.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Event%20Graphics/2001%2006%20Great%20American%20Bash/gabworld.jpg</span></p><p> <strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">WCW World Heavyweight Championship</span></strong></p><p> <strong> Scott Steiner © vs Booker T</strong></p><p> </p><p> In the highly anticipated main event, both men make their way to the ring with someone in their corner. Scott Steiner comes to the ring with Midajah and his brother Rick Steiner, while Booker is accompanied by his Brother Stevie Ray. The match gets off to a very slow start as Steiner keeps stopping the referee and getting him to check Booker for concealed weapons. It's not long before the life crowd start to boo heavily and change the atmosphere in the arena. It's then that Booker T just charges straight for Steiner and takes him to the ground. Both men put on an excellent showing throughout, with Rick Steiner and Stevie Ray on the outside keeping eyes on each other. Schiavone reminds us on commentary that a lot has gone on between these two this past year, with Steiner beating Booker for the title not once, but twice. He then goes on to talk about how Booker is being placed in the guilty seat of the attacker. Schiavone then turns his attention back to the match where he calls Steiner superplexing Booker from the top rope. After a long and well received match by the crowd, it is Steiner who reaches into his boot and pulls out a short piece of steel chain link. While Midajah distracts the Referee, Steiner wraps it around his hand and hits Booker in the face with his fist. A down and out Booker then gets rolled onto his back, where Steiner then locks on the Recliner. Booker T is unresponsive and doesn't tap or respond to the Referee, it's with that, that the referee lifts the arm of Booker 3 times and watches it drop to the floor. After the third, the Referee calls for the bell as Steiner keeps the Recliner locked in for an extra 10-20 seconds, adding insult to injury.</p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:8px;"><em>Dirt Sheet: “Exceptional Match”</em></span></p><p> </p><p> <em><strong>Winner: Scott Steiner</strong></em></p><p> <em><strong> Time: 26:26</strong></em></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/76.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Show%20Graphics/wcwdivider.png</span></p><p> </p><p> <iframe src="<a href="https://www.youtube.com/embed/m1_Ac5OW-B8?showinfo=0" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/embed/m1_Ac5OW-B8?showinfo=0"</a> allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen="" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0"></iframe></p><p> </p><p> <span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>Show Rating</strong></span></p><p> <span>http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/Show%20Grades/83.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> <a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2300509&postcount=2" rel="external nofollow"><strong>!!!PREDICTION SHEET!!!</strong></a></p></div><p></p>
