  2. Sorry guys. Never done it myself but I assumed that is what this was for. My bad
  3. You need to set your weekly show as an Event (not as a TV show) When modifying it set it to weekly schedule instead of annual. Then the bottom right 2 boxes (revives and goes dormant) set to Feb and June respectively. Your show should then run weekly from Feb to end of May
  4. Is there a way to put my czcw development company on my own broadcaster? I've had the company set up for 12+ months and they've been small size for 3+ months but they never tried to get a broadcasting deal I've now created my own broadcaster but I can't find a way to get them aired on it Surely this is something I would be able to do as I own both If not any idea of what criteria AI companies look for when getting a broadcast deal? I have a 100% training facility so I want my graduates getting exposure as well as experience. Thanks
  5. What is your product? If you haven't already had a good read through the help manual I'd advise it. It gave me loads of insight into what I was doing wrong. If you could give a few examples of some of your angles might be able to give you more help as there are so many factors that affect individual segment ratings, let alone full show ratings.
  6. Did you definately set up a broadcasting deal? I did the same recently but I could not find a way to set up a broadcasting deal for the shows. I assume the AI find broadcast deals themselves. They've now grown from tiny to small but the AI still hasn't tried to get a broadcast deal for their TV show. I'm not sure what criteria they look for before trying. If you do already have a broadcast deal set up for them (firstly please let me know how you did this haha) then I assume they should be booking the shows. Is it coming up as dormant or off air on their TV shows section?
  7. I'm using czcw so my company is performance based primarily. I've eventually just sent most of my ice colders down to the developmental company I have created for 6 months or so. Hopefully this will allow them to return with their momentum refreshed as they are mostly major stars down there
  8. I'm finding it impossible to get unimportant workers to not get negative momentum. If I put them in high rated segments with established workers on main shows I'm told they've been used "too much". If I put them with lower workers on dark/b shows segments are usually rated lower. Their performance skills are good (actually much higher than their popularity) but their momentum still gets worse. At the moment I have wrestlers who haven't lost all year but they still have ice cold momentum. What is the best way people have found to get them out of this? (I've tried resetting using a gimmick change but they quickly sink back into negative momentum, even though I let them win against more established guys) FYI my company popularity is 72. Most unimportant guys have 50s pop in my home region but 30s or 20s pop in all other regions I only hold shows in my home regions but have a TV deal so they get exposure in every region. Their pop in these regions is slowly rising but my problem is their momentum. With established stars this isn't an issue and I can get them up to white hot fairly easily. Am I doing something wrong?
  9. The handbook states that momentum can also have a big affect on popularity. Up to +20% for white hot and down to - 25% for ice cold. If Funakoshi had white hot momentum this would make his pop 78 so his performance may not need to be so high to hit a 91 rating. I'm not 100% but this might explain it a little more maybe
  10. Is there a way to sign a broadcasting deal for my child company or will they automatically persue this themselves? Also is there a way to send a worker from my company to my child company just for a one show deal?
  11. Cheers guys. I've started to use the loan system a bit more and it seems to be working as my established guys are starting to help put over the newer guys. Using the agent notes like keep strong/open match and protect also seems to help with this. Not sure how much this limits pop growth but gradually keeping everyone happy is better than pissing people off so they leave haha.
  12. Any tips on how to get a unimportant workers further up the card? I'm with CZCW and have just hired around 10 workers from CWA after it went bankrupt. Obviously they are all very good in ring but problem is their popularity in USA is only around 20's and my current company popularity is in the 68 so their perception is unimportant. I also seem to have a massive split of around 25 workers who are major stars and Stars vs 25 who are unimportant. This means my stars are pissed off if I ask them to lose to my lowly Canadian imports. However I get an uninterested crowd if I put two unimportants together. This problem has also led to most of them having really bad momentum as they've been losing to stars on shows but also been producing bad match ratings when put together due to their low popularity. I've got an A show, B show and monthly event All shows are on wrestleWorld (for now) so my coverage is not to bad in USA.
  13. Thanks for this. I realised that because I dropped my production values in the Feb because of my Jan finances I could no longer negotiate with Wrestle World when it opened in March. I've upped these again and have now signed a contract with wrestleWorld for my events Also the economy and industry had crashed to below 10's. They are both rising again now though. I dropped down to 23 out of 24 biggest company. Onwards and upwards
  14. Hi, I'm currently head booker for CZCW in the cornellverse. I'm finding it really difficult to increase my popularity. I currently have events run every 2 weeks and my show ratings have never been below 60 with around 1000 fans per show. Despite this I have only moves 2 popularity points in my home region of South West, going from 40>42 in the space of 18 months. I'm also always 1st out of 3 companies in the South West regional battles. Does this popularity growth sound right? And has anyone got any tips on increasing this quicker? I ideally want to get my dormant TV show back up and running but I'm not popular enough for TV companies to want to negotiate yet. I'm also reluctant to hold events in other regions as my ticket sales income drops massively due to reduced attendances and I can't then afford my workers (I make a huge loss) however to reach the next size I need to increase my pop in 1 other region. In my home south West Region I'm making a decent profit. Any tips on these issues would be appreciated
  15. So if I now download a picture pack and add this into the picture folder for the current database I'm using will it use these pictures for new gen workers? Will this work for my current save game or only future saves using the dB?
  16. Yeah I'm really not great with the whole file management for mods Within the pictures folder I have two sets of pictures. One for the database I'm using and the default one. I'm guessing there just isn't enough pics in there for regens like said above. Regens are enabled and I've now turned picture requirements off. I'll see if it makes a difference.
  17. I'm 3 years into a game and am yet to see a graduate from any training facilities or regens at all. Is there a setting I am supposed to have switched on or am I just looking in the wrong places (using killing the business mod which has around 8-10 training schools)
  18. So what are people finding are the most important skills when it comes to getting great match performances off a worker? Particularly just regular match types. not speciality matches etc.
  19. Sorry undertaker666. I made an error on my original post. They're earning around 15k per month So compared to a monthly contract of 80k per month that's at 65k increase. Per worker that is loads
  20. Hi guys. I've started my own company and have began with using per show contracts over per month contracts for workers as it was much cheaper. My question is what is the benefit of changing to monthly contracts and how on earth do I go about it as it will cost me way more per month to do this. I've just became a big company and per month I have 4 A shows, 4 B shows and 1 event. For a major star (who doesn't work b shows) I'm spending around 15,000 per month (3000 per show) . If I want them on a monthly contract they request closer to 80,000 per month. I'm only making profit of 800k per month so would not be able to afford this but I need the security in their contracts. Or am I just as secure with exclusive written per month contracts? I'm struggling to see the benefit of per month contracts but most company's use them so there must be a benefit I'm not seeing (I don't currently have house shows as workers need to be monthly paid to work on them) But would this extra revenue be worth it? I currently have 52 workers (some work on handshake deals with other companies) My popularity in USA regions is currently 77/78. 87% prestige, 94% momentum, 8th in world Have a company dojo at 90% training and facilities Thanks
  21. Yeah the Economy and industry are both falling (into the low 60's). I've also got PPV broadcast deals for outside the US for my TV shows so this might be having an impact. I'll see if anything changes once these deals expire
  22. Hi, currently playing a medium sized company based in USA which i started from scratch. I'm operating with weekly A and B TV shows on a medium coverage (USA) commercial cable network, and a Monthly event on a Huge coverage Cable PPV provider. At first my PPV buy rates for my events were decent (over 1 million) drawing in decent revenue. Suddenly buy rates seemed to half (less than 400,000) meaning my main revenue line was hit massively. This is despite a consistent rise in in A TV and PPV show ratings, attendences, company prestige and company momentum. Any idea why this might have suddenly happened? in the help section i did read that holding too many shows in a short space of time might penalise viewership and this seemed to start happening once i started to air B shows (around 3 months after i started my events and A show). surely though this factor would not penalise me by half my viewership? Thanks
  23. Is there a specific way to run a post match cash in style segment? Is there an angle to use or do you have to book another match in a specific way?
