  1. Hello, How would i start a new game in 1995, as you advised above? I am working from the mod-updated default database. When i choose 1995 as the start year from the database info section and try to run it, i get many critical errors and cannot proceed.
  2. Hello Sir, When i click the O+.rar above, i get the below message. Am i doing something wrong?
  3. Hi Everyone, When a fighter wins the title in a catchweight bout, do you physically move them to the weight class where they won the title or keep them at their weight class and continue to defend in catchweight bouts? example - Piper (FW) won the BW title from Pam in a catchweight fight. Do you keep Piper at FW and have her BW defenses catchweight fights or do you move her to BW?
  4. Hi there, I am really enjoying this mod so far! Just a couple questions - -is there a way to save the renders directly from the threads into my game or is there always a link to download to get them? -can you explain how i do the following regarding the mod? when the era settings box pops up, thats when i get confused [*][-] tweak era settings for strawweight The SW class will slowly develop and there will be girls that can drop to 115. If you don't want the game to create new fighters to fill it up, make a specific era setting for SW and set "min females per class" at 10. SW's of a different region should quickly flock to the active promotion.
  5. This is a great mod, my friend! Thank you for taking the time and effort to create it!
  6. I've had large universes with very bloated rosters and smaller universes with much smaller rosters (XCC) and I've found that I enjoy rosters of 20-30 fighters per weight class. This gives me the opportunity of doing my preferred method of scheduling...2 events per month, smaller show on week 2, PPV event on week 4. This also allows me to watch my universe and fighters "grow", without a ton of fighters getting lost in the mix. I also prefer a journeyman-heavy type of roster, with a few "stars" per weight class. I've had saves where my roster was full of stars and never got the same enjoyment. IMHO, with star-heavy type of rosters, once the hierarchy is developed, things don't change much (eg, the same 3 fighters at the top of the weight class and some stars not progressing well because they can beat the other top talent). I don't think it matters which day of the week the fights are scheduled, but I also like to schedule events on Friday or Saturday. When I first started, I would max out and do 20 fights per card. Then, after watching my competition (Alpha, BCF), I started doing 5 main fights and 10 undercard. Now I have found that my "sweet spot" is 5 main fights and 5-6 undercard. This also depends on roster size and number of events. If I need to schedule more fights, I just tack a couple more onto the undercard and at times, will still schedule 10 undercard fights. Just make sure your top 2 fights on the card are main event caliber and then you can fill the rest of the card with lower level fights.
  7. From my experience, if a fighter gets injured within a week of the scheduled event, that fight usually needs to be canceled off the card. It sounds like when you go back into the fight card to fill the "TBA" fighter, there were no fighters available to choose from? You can try looking a weight up or a weight down (even try the catchweight) but it doesn't sound like those fighters will take that short of notice either. It's unfortunate but will happen from time to time. When you get a fighter who gets injured with much more notice, that spot is easier to fill. You'll even get emails from fighters who want to replace the injured fighters. Hope this helps.
  8. Nice! I love the Global-Verse mod and all the dynasties! Looking forward to it!
  9. Antonin, I was replying to your message but I was so long winded that I sent you a PM instead. Great to hear that you are buying WMMA 5 today and it's great to have you here! You are going to be an excellent addition to the community!
  10. Antonin, I think I am familiar with you through TBCB forums? I spent many, many years over there and love that game very much. I think you would absolutely love WMMA5. My previous experience was with WMMA 1 & 2 and I can tell you that compared to 5, it's like night and day. I don't have all the features/comparisons in front of me but I can say that WMMA 5 is very smooth. The ease of contracts (which can be handled automatically) is great, I love the matchmaking (which includes an 'assistant' that can show you hometown fighters, main events, etc), the easy of things as simple as seeing how many people you have in a weight class, who can fight in a specific weight class and can change with 1 click, the ability so see which fighters haven't fought within 30,60 or 90+ days, the ability to see who has yet to have their debut fight with your company, CATCHWEIGHT FIGHTS (!), suspensions, scandals, social media challenges leading to great fights....I could go on an on. WMMA 5 is very immersive....I cannot stop playing it! I realize you are more of a boxing guy but this game completely satisfies your need to really go in depth in scheduling fight cards. And you will also start getting into the phenomenal mods (personally I love the Global-Verse mod) that will allow you to build your own WMMA world from the ground up. Its great. Please let us know if you have any other questions. This forum is very much like the friendly forum over at TBCB and we'd love your participation. Great to hear from you and I hope you give WMMA 5 some serious consideration.
  11. Hi there, can you tell me exactly how you are setting up the leagues as "child companies"? I've created new organizations in the editor (with the intent of making them child organizations) before starting but for the life of me, I cannot get them to be "child companies".
  12. Hi there, do you guys strip your champions of the title if they test positive and get suspended for recreational drugs? Yamada just made his 10th defense and he's my best fighter and was just popped. Strip him or no, in your respective universes?
  13. How would you guys handle it? Playing Global-Verse, which is GREAT! Foster was on a tear early on, making numerous title defenses. Then, I signed Fezzik, and once he worked his way up, he has beaten Foster twice. 1st fight, where Fezzik won the title, was the best I've ever seen on the game. Rematch, Fezzik KO'd Foster in the 2nd round. 2 years later, Foster & Fezzik are still #1 and #2, however, Kurt has made his way up to #3, which hasn't been easy for him. He has also developed a small beef with Foster along the way. My year-end December fight card is here. Would you have a 3rd fight between Fezzik-Foster now, with Kurt getting the winner or would you have Foster fight Kurt and then the winner fight champion Fezzik? If it helps, Fezzik vs Foster is a great main event and Foster vs Kurt is a great main event, but, Fezzik vs Kurt is only a strong main event so that fight is basically out of the 3-fight triangle right now. Another quick thought, my predication is that either Foster or Fezzik will crush Kurt so it will ultimately end up Fezzik vs Foster III.
  14. Hi Everyone, I created a Flyweight class in my XCC universe and early on (within my first universe year), there was a crop of generated flyweight fighters that I was able to offer contracts to. Since then, a few universe years later, no more flyweights have been generated nor offered. Can I expect more Flyweights to be presented or will I have continue to work with the same 10 or so that I initially signed? Is there a way I can adjust the settings to get more of them? Thank you and I absolutely love this game!
