  2. Shelley being free from TNA is good news for me. I live in South Eastern Michigan so I may be able to see him at local shows again.
  3. <p>I guess I will comment on a couple of topics.</p><p> </p><p> House Shows - Really? Have we ran out of things to complain about or something? They don't matter at all.</p><p> </p><p> Big Show vs Cena - I don't think it is a given that Cena will win at all. We will see what happens.</p><p> </p><p> D. Bryan Depush - If he gets depushed whatever. Most of us never expected him to reach this level. I am just happy I get to see him a couple of times a week and he is getting a lot of screen time. I think AJ will actually help him go over Punk to be honest.</p>
  4. I would say ever since just after Bound for Glory they have been better. They were dumb with the way they handled the title picture right after BFG but now James Storm and Bobby Roode are legit main eventers for TNA. I have enjoyed what I have seen with Roode at the top. The shows are better but most of the knockouts acting still sucks. Some of the angles are a little awkward and probably would be better served as leaving them off the show and just hyping the PPV or something at times. I'd say maybe 1 or 2 a week are just pointless. Bully Ray is pretty good in the main event as well. I hope Jeff Hardy never gets the title again but don't mind him being at the top of the card. Hogan isn't really very interesting but meh he is Hulk Hogan. His name value gives his character a little bit of credibility. Overall the shows are better for sure. They are more consistent and with a better emphasis on the top guys. The shows don't hop around as much where 1 week this guy is the best but the next week a new guy is the onstoppable guy. Things are flowing much better.
  5. The Revolution may be a return to some attitude... Not full on Attitude era but I think they are going to bring an edge to the product in the final hour of RAW where the 1st hour will be PG maybe?
  6. Yeah he used to do some great moves while in the Steiner Bros tag team. He was the more talented of the 2 by far. I think that is part of his charm! That is a great example! How can you not get enjoyment out of that?
  7. That's fantastic. I love Scott Steiner! He is uncensored. It's refreshing to hear wrestlers really speak their mind without fear of being fired/not hired.
  8. Wasn't Nitro moving to 3 hours a mistake in the past? I thought it was really hard to fill 3 hours of programming? Oh well... So I guess Chyna collapsed at some porn expo. Saw it on MSN. They are NOW worried about her health. Hasn't she had problems for a few years now?
  9. I wonder how long it will be until someone cuts a promo and disses Cena about his divorce.
  10. Red = COMEDY Green = GREEN haven't proven anything yet. Pink = JOBBERS so far So after that you are left with Kofi and Truth which I do like right now. The Usos who are barely used. Epico and Primo who lost every single match before they were tag team champions and basically are jobbers who were given a title run it seems. Then Swagger and Dolph who I love both as a team and as singles wrestlers. I doubt they will be a tag team 6 months from now but if they are still teaming I'd love for them to win the titles and go on a nice heel run. Them and Truth/Kofi could have a really good feud for awhile on and off. That is just my opinion of the tag teams.
  11. I thought you were saying WWE doesn't have time on their programming right now for tag teams. That to me was really what my comment was about. They had great tag teams when they only had about 2 hours of tv a week. Now they have 2 hours for RAW, 2 hours for SD, and also their online stuff such as NXT.
  12. I disagree with your time aspect. WWE just doesn't see a need for them other than filler for guys to have something to do without being in a major program with someone. Look back at 80 and 90s WWF. They had less tv time and had many more established tag teams. It was great! They kept them apart except for occasionally teaming 2 singles guys so someone new could run with the World Title. Like when HBK and Austin were tag team champions. I believe it was so Bret could face new people for a few months. They did this a few times in history though. Personally there is plenty of air time they could use to push tag teams and it wouldn't interfere with the singles pushes. WWE has more top tier singles guys now but that is because that is all they WANT to push these last few years.
  13. That $19,000 doesn't count the free dinner and lunches they get, hotel, or traveling costs though does it? Because it would make sense outside of all of that.
  14. You are right it is legally prescribed there as well as some other states like here in Michigan. However it is still illegal on a Federal level. So technically it is still illegal even with a prescription.
  15. Him smoking marijuana isn't going to lead him down the same path as Eddie Guerrero.
  16. Well that blows. Wonder what this means for Rey's future with WWE.
  17. Hive I like you so don't take this wrong but Sting isn't known for his huge move set either and last I checked you were a really big Sting fan. He may just not be it for you guys and that is ok. I like him and am happy he is in WWE. Others may not be a fan of his. We are allowed to think differently.
  18. So you have seen what 4 of Matt Blooms matches in the last 8 years? 2 of which were squashes on television and the other 2 were just television matches too. WWE doesn't usually put PPV quality matches on RAW or SD. I am not saying Matt Bloom is one of the best ever or anything even close to that. Just saying give him a chance because the guy is talented in the ring. As for Rock vs Cena the story told was fine at Mania but I could blatantly see them talking thru spots and not even trying to cover up their mouths or anything. That sort of stuff drives me nuts. On top of that the rest holds were not even strategically placed well in that match. When you are in a rest hold and not doing the basics such as hiding your mouth while you talk about the next few spots you are not a good wrestler. Rock was the worse of the 2 obviously. Cena did a better job. I like Rock and Cena from a promo stand point but that is where it ends pretty much. Cena is very underrated when it comes to his in ring work but he isn't great by any means.
  19. So Tensai is a worse wrestler than Rock? Rock and Cena were not very good from a wrestling perspective at Mania. The match was interesting due to their overness but the match wasn't that good really. Rest holds to try and communicate. Watching them talk thru their next spots very blatantly. Let's just agree to disagree about Tensai/Albert/Bernard. In my opinion credibility is lost when someone thinks Rock and Cena can work a good match but Tensai is a terrible wrestler?
  20. Not his fault that Cole is touting him as this international Superstar who was unstoppable. Probably the writers fault more than anything. You don't like him that is cool but the guy isn't fat, out of shape, and past his prime.
  21. He may not look in shape but that guy isn't in that bad of shape really. He moves in the ring well and can work a 25 minute match if he needed to. In Japan he headlines PWNOAH, Zero1, and NJPW shows at times. He was great over there. In WWE he is working a gimmick in which they want him to work. I was talking about him before that as I had been watching a lot of Giant Bernards work with Karl Anderson for my mod. I enjoyed a match I saw of Bernards against Tanahashi which was the 1st match that made me really give him a chance again. Glad I did as I was ready to write him off as the hairy Prince Albert of old. The Tanahashi match was the 1st match I saw of Bernards in Japan by the way. What does it matter how over he was anyways? He held titles that I would argue are more prestigious than the WWE championship at times. Very true.
  22. Isn't the WWE's formula for success that you have to lose to everyone basically for a bit and then get a push to the top... outside of Orton and Cena of course... although Cena is now losing so maybe his true big push is coming! Yikes.
  23. I like him. Giant Bernard is good and I don't mind the Tensai character. He has been booked strong and I like him much more than Khali. Tensai has been booked as a big threat to anyone on the roster. He moves like a much smaller guy and has a unique move set compared to the rest of the roster right now.
