  1. Thank you and thanks for the suggestions. It got me looking at it differently and allowed me to create that half mask version which I think is much better. Masks are my weakness, it seems, but I've found that line art with the displacement works for simpler stuff I want to do. I haven't yet figured out how to do things like ears or layers hanging off the mask. The fur was the Anton's Fantasy Beard/Hair and I made everything hidden except for the sideburns Yeah I always think of Architect like an evil genius, weasel type.
  2. It was actually Fox Mask haha but whatever works for you! Thanks!
  3. Yeah there's no way to get a mask like that *in* DAZ (at least from my simple mask building skills). You'd have to do a lot of "post production" work in Photoshop or be very skilled in bump and displacement layers. Not to mention, you'd need a big and really clean image of the mask. You could probably draw something onto a mask color layer to resemble what you've got but I don't know how to get the ears to stick up past the mask or the nose to point down, overlapping it. Again, I think that would all have to be done in Photoshop. The couple I've tried by trying to blend the image onto a mask prop didn't look good at all. I did a couple of new renders from what I already had. But for something more elaborate you'll probably have to go to one of the guys like Jtlant or J Silver who are really excellent at masked renders. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/FoxMask_zpsttdjyb5s.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/FoxMask_alt_zpsjggratqv.jpg Also: The Architect http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/The%20Architect_zpsbttqun68.jpg Syd Collier http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Syd%20Collier_zpsybwvtwhu.jpg
  4. Sorry, I wasn't clear. I know what kind of mask you're speaking of, I just didn't understand how it looked like a fox
  5. Thanks. Like I said, it was definitely a render that wasn't going to be for everyone. I never liked the full fox head for Fox Mask and it always kept me from hiring him so I went for a more metaphorical Fox Mask that was done with line art of a fox face. If anyone has any ideas on how to get a better fox face in DAZ I would definitely be open to suggestions
  6. <p>This is definitely a "your mileage may vary" render but I did <strong>Fox Mask</strong> in the style of the Emerald Angel I did a few months back.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><a href="http://s145.photobucket.com/user/jkeats/media/Fox%20Mask_alt_zps0m1iv7jj.jpg.html" rel="external nofollow"><span>http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Fox%20Mask_alt_zps0m1iv7jj.jpg</span></a></div><p></p><p></p>
  7. Oh, good, glad you like it. For some reason I forgot to attach these two of Rahmel Goode to the last post. I use him as a bodyguard for Paul Parsons, hence the suit and shades: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Rahmel%20Goode_alt_zpssakiqf0p.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Rahmel%20Goode_zpsnvql15oq.jpg

  10. I concur on the Wolf, love it! What hair did you use? This is great! I really love your masked renders. I'd love to see a Fox Mask or Masked Cougar in this style.
  11. Thanks! Glad ya like them. Yeah it's weird. All of them are created from an M4 model. I use different skin textures (the Japanese wrestlers are Elite Lee, Jepes Jonah and Marco, respectively). In fact, Robin DaLay and Munemitsu both have that skin and the same exact lighting and Shader setting. Every character I uploaded in that post all use either Clive Dax or Jepes Ian Pierre eyeballs too. I think it has something to do with the Asian features, strangely enough. It lends itself to a more realistic look for some strange reason. I used variation of, and combinations of Lee, Eric or the Morphs ++ International settings as a base and then just adjust stuff from there.
  12. I gave three of these a shot (I think that Prometheus is perfect as is, I use that one myself) Mamoru Nagahama http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/MamoruNagahama_zps8206d19d.jpg Munemitsu Senmatsu http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/MunemitsuSenmatsu_zps821855bc.jpg Battle Sakata (One with some blood on him, since he is King of the Death Matches http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/BattleSakata_zpsa4ab1684.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/BattleSakata_blood_zps8ee2858e.jpg A couple others I've done recently: Dusty Ducont (I altered his face a bit from the previous render I did, also changed the lighting) http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/DustyDucont_zps2c3a2782.jpg Robin DaLay http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/RobinDaLay_alt_zps223d6ce7.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/RobinDaLay_zpsdf3c1dce.jpg Ant-Man http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Ant-Man_zpsa525587e.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Ant-Man_alt_zps3bb1369d.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Ant-Man_alt3_zps0d199b41.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Ant-Man_alt2_zps1263456d.jpg

  14. I wasn't originally going to do Moroi as he didn't seem so great in the stats I doubted I would have hired him. But I did and now I may just hire them as a team instead of Babau as a solo act (and save him to break out later on in singles competition) Moroi http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Moroi_alt_zpsed15ed47.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Moroi_zpsc7c34b42.jpg

  16. He's someone that I've thought about taking a stab at in the past. I've got some time today so I'll give it a go. Edit: Here ya go http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/PabloRodriguez_alt3_zpsfe4db6c3.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/PabloRodriguez_alt_zpsb54c8b63.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/PabloRodriguez_alt2_zpse68fe0e3.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/PabloRodriguez_zps7bba5e9d.jpg
  17. Isn't the way the game is set up that if a tag team is set as a team and has at least a C in experience they won't have bad chemistry as it is? For some reason I thought I remembered something like that
  18. Ah! I was trying to eyeball it and couldn't tell if it was 2 or 3. As for the ages of wrestlers in the mod, it is amazing isn't it? I mean, back in the day you wouldn't even be considered for a serious main event spot until you were in your 30's (with the possible exception of someone like Jack Brisco who was a college standout but even he was 32 when he first won the NWA title. Even later someone like Austin was in his mid thirties when he first got that main event super push). Also, I thought of another couple of guys for the update: Tony Atlas, Ron Bass, Ray Candy, Leroy Brown
  19. It looks like you've got Dino Bravo's picture for Gino Brito (it looks like it's from this picture of both of them: http://www.wrestleprints.com/zc/images//wrestleprints/BritoBravoInRing8x102.jpg) I made a cut for Brito using that image if you like: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/GinoBrito_zps75747449.jpg
  20. All the shows for St. Louis Wrestling Club on that page take place in St. Louis. It looks like you may have been looking at the AWA as their first show was: 1970/01/02: AWA @ Rockford Boylan Catholic High School in Rockford, Illinois (United States of America) 1. Bob Windham vs. Buddy Smith 2. Luke Graham vs. Pepper Gómez 3. Bill Watts vs. Blackjack Lanza 4. Red Bastien and Billy Red Lyons vs. Dr. X and Larry Hennig This is the first show for St. Louis in 1970: 1970/01/09: Show @ St. Louis St. Louis, Missouri (United States of America) 1. Thor Hagen vs. The Viking 2. Frankie Hester vs. Mike Rolinsky 3. The Crimson Knight vs. Ronnie Etchison 4. Luke Graham vs. Pat O'Connor 5. Bob Geigel, Waldo Von Erich and Blackjack Lanza vs. Lou Thesz, Tommy Martin and Ernie Ladd 6. 2 on 1 Handicap Match: Baron Von Raschke vs. Wilbur Snyder and Dewey Robertson 7. NWA World Heavyweight Title Match: Dick the Bruiser vs. Dory Funk Jr. © Oh there's definitely bias in the autobios but they are great, entertaining reads. The Assassin one, surprisingly so. By the way, the recent update is tremendous. Really fun!
  21. When were those results from, though? When Munchnik owned it, it was just a monthly show at the Kiel or St. Louis Arena. After Giegel and the Central States guys bought it after Munchnik retired (in 1982) they may have ran more of a territory style. It's all in Matysik's book Wrestling at the Chase (which I HIGHLY recommend if you are interested in this era). Again, it's nitpicking and if people want to run St. Louis as a National empire that's their choice and freedom Speaking of Wrestling at the Chase, some other great books to read about this era I would recommend: Wrestler's Are Like Seagulls by JJ Dillon, Gary Hart's book, The Assassin's book and the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fane series (The Heels, Heroes and Icons and The Tag Teams. I didn't think much of the one on The Canadians).
  22. <p>One thing about St. Louis...they weren't really a "territory" (kind of the same as how Houston was later on). It was just the Kiel Show (or later Checker Dome). They didn't book it like a regular territory, you just came in to do the TV and the Kiel. So you may want to take the weekly house shows off for them if you're a stickler for absolute accuracy. </p><p> </p><p> For my own games (I've got a 7 player multiplayer game going now where I'm booking all the territories!) I took out the weekly house shows and just made it one Big End of the Month show and one smaller House Show. The other way became too overwhelming (for me, I'm delicate <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />)</p>

I'll change it my end for whenever the next update will be released but as I said before, if anyone wants it in their game it's probably best they change it themselves. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Would you say his English was "Basic", "Passable" or "Fluent"?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'd say fluent. Gary Hart talks about him extensively (and how much he liked the drink) in his book and never mentioned him having to learn English or lack of English skills being any kind of an obstacle. Ivan just did Steve Austin's podcast in the last couple of weeks as well. I didn't listen to the whole thing as of yet but there might be some info in there.</p>
  24. I just noticed...you have Ivan Koloff as being Russian and not speaking English. Everything I've ever seen on him, including his own website, said he was born in Montreal. I believe he spoke English from the get-go. He definitely doesn't speak Russian though, I think it was all part of the gimmick.
