  1. I think you could keep the weight limit if you wanted to for the Main Event level titles if you wanted to but for the midcards (and especially Jr. Hvywts) you may want to make no minimum (and a max of light heavy for Junior titles or something like that.) I also wonder if it's a combination of roster size and not having available titles in a certain weight limit. I had converted a version of DOTT for myself on TEW2013. I just ran a Watcher month with Georgia Championship Wrestling on your mod and gave it a pre-planned weekly event and the AI still created an event at the end of the month, so it does seem to be present in this game. http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/GCW_sched_zps4fb23bac.jpg As a side note: if you create a Monthly event the same way as you do a weekly the AI won't create a second monthly event. So that can be accomplished. I just tested it For Central States, you might be able to lower their Mid South stat as I don't think they were that high in popularity there. They were a very small company and TEW sadly doesn't allow for true territorial stats. I really wish it was more like the MMA game like that. I did find it a little strange that wrestlers like The Missing Link are in the database originally as that character (he doesn't become that until the mid-80's) instead of it being Dewey Robertson and having the Link as a character. That's just nitpicking though. By the way, I've neglected to mention, the cuts for the workers are really tremendous. They really put you in the era and immerse you in the game. Some really great shots and I love that they are in B&W. The bios are top notch as well. This has potential to be one of the best mods going. Just a great job overall.
  2. I think I may have figured this out. For AWA you have all of the titles set at a minimum weight of Light Heavyweight, so Middleweights and Lightweights have no titles. The created title had no weight restrictions. You may want to edit some of the midcard titles to include lighter wrestlers. You actually have a lot of titles (including the WWWF Junior Heavyweight title) set to a minimum of Light Heavyweight wrestlers. Maybe this was an error and you thought you were setting it to Lightweight? Some of the wrestlers I've seen have a weird weight setting, like Andre only at Big Heavyweight and Bruno at Light Heavyweight. I tried this with Memphis back in the DOTT mod and it will still create a monthly event regardless if you have a weekly one scheduled. I don't understand why it does that. So you do need to either create a monthly event or just edit the names available for events. Nothing out of the ordinary other than what I posted above. All Star Wrestling went out of business in August but otherwise, everyone else is still in the game. WWWF, Central States (?!), Florida and JPW all went to Cult. Central States might need a cap on how big they get as that was always a really small territory.
  3. One weird thing I noticed...I ran a year on Watcher mode using Multi-Day Advance (I do NOT recommend doing this unless you've got something else to do...this mod is HUGE and took about 2 hours, if not a little more, to run a year) and I noticed that the AWA created an Arena Championship, BTW created a BTW National Championship, GCW created a Universal and Big Gold Belt, EMLL created a TV, etc. It's strange because there certainly isn't a lack of titles in any of those promotions, at all levels and for singles and tag teams. Not sure why this would happen. Also you may want to create events in the database or limit the names of the events to stuff like "End of the Month Show" just to avoid modern sounding event names like Subbacultcha or Creeping Death
  4. Oh excellent! Very excited for this. Thanks for all the hard work. A note: The NWA World Tag Championship wasn't really a recognized, touring NWA championship. Only the World and World Junior Hvwt Titles were. IIRC, the tag titles were a creation in the Mid Atlantic (or a promotion in that region). St. Louis didn't really like tag teams and I don't believe they even had a tag title at all.
  5. Thanks. The Optitek bandana only has that red option but I thought it did what you mentioned, added a little color. 6. Psycho (it says in his bio that he bleeds every match so there needed to be scarring) http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Psycho_zps148df076.jpg Mobstar http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Mobstar_zpsf562da6c.jpg Frantic Ali http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/FranticAli_zpsbc8ced88.jpg
  7. It's an in-progress 1975 mod with all fictional characters I'm doing for myself as a hobby I'm doing the renders and all and keeping it pretty small since it's all from scratch. How many "based in" wrestlers do you suggest for an area?
  8. Really good. You should give him a little expression, squint some or something because he has the dead eyes. The render is great though, really lifelike!
  9. I originally had "No Foreign Workers (except on Touring Contracts)" but then removed that. I based it off of All Japan's stats in DOTT so it's a pretty low risk, sports-oriented style. I tried another test and switched it to Regular Schedule and it stopped running shows in July. I'm thinking maybe I don't have enough wrestlers BASED in Japan (instead of just able to work in Japan but based in the US)
  10. Ah ok, cool thanks! Any tricks/tips to creating a touring company? I created one with my own data that was a Cult size in Japan and had a few touring Americans and a handful of Japanese wrestlers on written. I ran a year's worth of shows (on Watcher mode) but they don't seem to run any tours after Jan and Feb. I have them set for March off but to start up again in April but no go. I have all my wrestlers open to be able to work in Japan for the basis of the test hoping that they would hire people to fill holes but it doesn't seem to happen. Then the promotion is down to "Local" by the end of the year (with about 3 million in the bank).
  11. Question: When you are creating a touring promotion in a mod, where do you create the actual weekly shows of the tour? You can create the Tour End big event but I can't find where to create that Mon and Tues (for example) show of the tour and name it (in the editor). There are tour names in the editor but does that mean they are created automatically and randomly assigned tour names?
  12. I changed the hair on Cobra and kind of like it more: ]Cobra http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Cobra_zps181542fb.jpg I made Brady Prince a little more average looking and gave him a different robe: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/BradyPrince_zpscfbf9e05.jpg These two are just relights I did: Kurt Laramee http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/KurtLaramee_zps1890d24d.jpg Sean McFly http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/SeanMcFly_zps2b9681ae.jpg
  13. I thought Cobra could use a re-render, mostly because the character is only 24 at the start of the game and the render looks a little older. I was happy with this moreso for the expression than anything particular in the render: http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/Cobra_zpsc8b6f201.jpg
  14. Ah! There you go! The flat cap works really well for Irish brawler O'Farraday. I had an earlier render of him but the M4 Beard handlebar mustache looked almost like it was a fake mustache taped on his face. This time I used the Ultimate Beard for M4 and it had that much cooler look to it. Plus I re-lit it
  15. Thanks! Someone in this thread had asked for a Jules Night before (because he and another worker used the same picture) so I gave him a go. Thank you! I wanted to go for a slightly drugged out/partier type vibe so I gave him a little sleepy eyes and the wild hair. The renders I had done of him before were too "normal". I feel like this Edd I could actually do something with as a singles. It's weird how the render determines the push so much when. Thanks! It's hard to do different skin tones with the Genesis 2 figure because I don't have nearly the selection I have with M4. So I removed the skin texture totally to give the white Sting/Crow face and then added in the triangles and those scratch marks and blurred them all a bit. Are they scratches? Are they just makeup? Who knows? Yup, he comes in later and the Stone Cold vibe was exactly what I was going for. A slightly off brawler. You can thank JSilver's 3a light setup for the realistic look. It doesn't work for every skin (some look too clay-like) but when it's the right fit it's AMAZING. Otherwise I have my own light set I created so I'll alternate between the two. Thank you! Thanks! For some reasons Quentin Queen is a favorite of mine too. I wanted a Playboy Buddy Rose type of heel and something about his name inspired that look. I still wish I could do masks as well as you and Jtlant!
  16. Here are a bunch of new renders and some re-lights: Killswitch/Frankie Perez http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/FrankiePerez_Killswitch_zps050de5ef.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/FrankiePerez_zps8bc8ee14.jpg Big Cat Brandon http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/BigCatBrandon_alt_zps0f470843.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/BigCatBrandon_zpsab39d878.jpg Sammy Bach (Thanks to Jtlant for turning me onto the right hair for him!) http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/SammyBach_alt_zps57c260e1.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/SammyBach_zps50b607af.jpg Findlay O'Farraday http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/FindlayOFarraday_alt_zpsc8f39f1b.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/FindlayOFarraday_alt4_zpsc29b0009.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/FindlayOFarraday_alt2_zps3d6c1069.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/FindlayOFarraday_zpsdfaf729b.jpg Nicky Gilbert http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/NickyGilbert_zps89e078fe.jpg Masked Wrestler based on the old time wrestler The Great Bolo http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/ThePunisher1_zpsb5cc3e41.jpg Edd Stone http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/EddStone_alt_zpsfe8e30b1.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/EddStone_zps38d5896b.jpg Nelson Callum http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/NelsonCallum_zps551395c2.jpg Nick Booth http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/NickBooth_zpsa100fddf.jpg Hajime Sugisata http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/KataiNakasawa_zps74b7f44b.jpg Reilly Patton http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/ReillyPatton_zps54104361.jpg Kirk Jameson http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/KirkJameson_zpsc6cb0836.jpg Steven Parker as The Grappler (there are so many "cocky blonde" wrestlers in the C-Verse that it becomes a lot of the same old-same old. 17. Oh sorry, I missed this yesterday but it looks like you nailed it! Nice job
  18. Oh wow, that's excellent and an excellent choice for the Midnight Prowler. I did one a while back and used the Midnight Prince Mask on him (it's one of those Lone Ranger style masquerade mask) but this render is better and more handsome than the one I did. Hm, I'll give it another go with this as a model and see what I come up with. Edit: This is what I came up with http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/TheMidnightProwler_alt2_zpsc34d7198.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/TheMidnightProwler_alt_zpsa9b4265c.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/TheMidnightProwler_zps2a070c27.jpg
  19. Love that mask J Silver! I would definitely be interested in your mask prop. Might get me into doing more masked renders.
  20. This is the same render I had made before, I just finally found some decent hair for him (Tristan Hair for M6). Finally he looks like he could be a singles star. The short hair wasn't doing it for me. Fun fact: I have the Bumfholes use the last name Brummel and I call them The Amazing Ones as kind of a Fabulous Ones style team. I hate the name Bumfhole Randy Bumfhole http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/RandyBumfhole_zps95364d4a.jpg
  21. He's EMERALD Angel...why would you use other colors? Feel free to alt away though Thanks guys!
  22. I've never been too great at masked renders but I hired Emerald Angel and didn't like his original render so I gave it a go. I used line art of Angel Wings and doubled it, so you have two different sizes to give the mask some design. I also used Jtlant's displacement tutorial to give it some depth. I'm pretty happy with how it came out but holy hell is doing masks time consuming Emerald Angel http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/EmeraldAngel_alt_zps6b2c3686.jpg http://i145.photobucket.com/albums/r219/jkeats/EmeraldAngel_zps15fb001b.jpg
