  1. In the editor, I want to select a selection of tag teams to change them from unit to permanent unit using the mass editor. I can not figure out how to do a selection. Been trying for awhile, what am I missing?

  4. With this change I am having so much trouble figuring what what cities are in what region and where these regions are. Trying to work on my mod, and Mexico is now a mess I need to figure out. Anyone have a break down, especially Mexico City?
  5. <p>The process continues. Up to 467 workers, mostly focused on the USA. I have few bigger talents to fill out like a Lio Rush and such, then it's just the mid and low card talents in the smaller indies.</p><p> </p><p> It's been really fun building up rosters under the premise that all promotions started now with everybody being free agents.</p>
  6. <p>It's been a couple of weeks, so time for an update.</p><p> </p><p> I took a week off, but I've accomplished a bit since last time.</p><p> </p><p> I'm up to 275 workers now and have almost done the entire real world WWE roster, including referees, road agents, announcers, etc...</p><p> </p><p> Each company has a few known names, so things will be more spread out.</p><p> </p><p> I have decided to use the gimmicks from TheWho mod, because they seem to be the best to me. Arenas and moves I am doing myself, but things like workers names, tour names, and match types are from the default database.</p><p> </p><p> I also completed the first year awards and WWE Title history and events (title history is only six months of course).</p><p> </p><p> Finally, updated the game info:</p><p> </p><p> In 2018 powerful beings were sick of watching wrestling from afar and took on a secret plan to clone wrestlers from Earth and transfer their clones to their Secret Earth.</p><p> </p><p> Upon awakening, wrestling promotions opened up everywhere and with selected previous knowledge Secret Earth's wrestling universe was much different.</p><p> </p><p> After the initial success, clones of deceased wrestlers were made to eventually join this "Secret War" of wrestling.</p>

Stampede is as big in Canada (owner Bret Hart, main star Chris Jericho) as any company is as big in the USA.</p><p> </p><p> Also IWS with Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn is going to be Impact size.</p><p> </p><p> Every area has large or good sized comapnies, regardless of the names they are based on.</p><p> </p><p> Everything is based on 4 popularity levels.</p><p> A=80</p><p> B=60</p><p> C=40</p><p> D=20</p><p> </p><p> The really big companies, WWE, AEW, NXT, NJPW, AJPW, CMLL, AAA, and Stampede. all have one area as A, one as B, and one as C.</p><p> </p><p> Every where else has atleast a B area.</p><p> </p><p> So, I think I have that covered.</p>
  8. <p>After added wrestlers in random order to the database, I decided to focus in and complete the WWE. I'm at a total of 148 for the whole game.</p><p> </p><p> Here is a little preview of the WWE!</p><p> </p><p> Owner: Vince</p><p> Booker: Stephanie</p><p> </p><p> WWE Champion: Roman (defeated Brock in December)</p><p> WWE Women's Champion: Charlotte (two times, beat Becky)</p><p> WWE Tag Champions: New Day (two times)</p><p> WWE IC Champion: Rowan</p><p> </p><p> WWE Raw is their show. </p><p> </p><p> To keep the territory system kind of in tact, each promotion will have popularity in at most 3 areas to begin (not including game's spill out). WWE is Tri State, New England, and Ontario.</p><p> </p><p> I could give a whole roster run down if you like, but this is Vince's WWE as Triple H opened NXT and his guys are there. Steph/Trips still married, but Vince/Trips have a simmering tension.</p>

So yeah, hard to say definitively because of the wording, but it's probably safe to assume it's only National and above.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thank you, that does seem pretty definitive. Will be going with that.</p>
  10. <p>What does "major company" mean in terms of the hall of immortals?</p><p> </p><p> Is it cult level or national level or global level or what?</p>

Now, it is your mod and your artistic freedom is being used, as it should, but I think the idea of a New Earth sounds silly haha. Regardless that's nothing that actually means anything in the game itself, but just thought it seemed so out of this world (pun intended).<p> </p><p> I'm interested for sure. Any idea on when we could get a working beta? I like the territory feel you're describing and the integration of legends and HOFers coming in as new workers is pretty sweet. Good Luck!</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thank you. Yeah, it's pretty comic booky, but wahtever it's needed as a set up to get the kind of world I want.</p><p> </p><p> I've created 70 wrestlers so far, all the promotions and have things kind of planned out. A ways away, but it's coming along well. Only having 6 months of history makes this mod kind of quicker to make.</p><p> </p><p> Hopefully in the fall I'll have a beta, but we'll see.</p>
  12. Sorry, long preamble, skip ahead if you want. I was working on a 2007 mod and had completed the US (well outside of about 100 minor wrestlers) and it was running pretty well, but I decided to scrap it. The problem with 2007 is the companies. WWE runs it all and everything else is way behind. To run the WWE you have three brands and that's way too much. Basically running anything doesn't sound the most fun for me. I started to think about what mod would be fun, I've been a fan since the 80s and have watched world wide wrestling (yes, even big into lucha) so any period is doable for me. However issues arise for any ideal mod for me. The period when companies are good (lots I'd want to use) have almost no women or other talent issues, or periods where the talent is ideal, the companies are not (WWE having multiple brands, not much competition), etc.. That is when I started this Secret War mod. The idea is simple last summer the wrestling universe was cloned and placed onto a new Earth where wrestling did not exist. Wrestlers exist as they do now, but history was wiped out (except wrestling debut date, feels wrong to have that all June 2018 in the mod). The game starts in January 2019 and lots of companies have sprung up (same amount as Cornellverse) and it looks more like the territories systems of the early 1980s. Nobody is above cult. I also plan to take former or deceased wrestlers and have them come in as rookies over time (for example Lou Thesz debuts as a teenager in April). Let's say after the initial event the creators went back in time and cloned the classics to introduce over time to inter mingle. I do plan to release this asap after TEW 2020 is out, unless it's done earlier. I've got the companies added in and the first 25 wrestlers added. Here is a little glimpse of the future. In the United States the bigger companies are: The WWE led by the McMahons who rule the Tri State, New England, and Ontario. Brock, Roman, Cena, Charlotte and Becky are their largest stars. NXT is headed by Triple H and revolves around Seth Rollins, Rusev, Daniel Bryan, and Sasha Banks in the South East, Mid South, and Tri State areas. The final cult company is All Elite Wrestling headed up by Tony Khan featuring Kenny Omega and The Elite against AJ Styles and The Bullet Club. They are in the South East, South West, and Great Lakes. Other smaller companies are ROH with Samoa Joe, PWG, OMEGA run by The Hardys, SHIMMER, WWC, CHIKARA, Beyond, WrestleCircus, F1RST, and DEFY. They stretch through out the USA so that the whole country is covered (outside Hawaii). UK scene is bigger with PROGRESS being the top dog, but also ICW, EVE, and OTT playing a role. A lot of the WWE guys like Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, etc.. have returned to their home country. Canada may be the most different with Bret Hart opening up Stampede Wrestling and it being a force. Smash, ECCW, and IWS are the other companies. I am debating about whether IWS should have Kevin Owens and/or Sami Zayn and making them more predominant. Mexico is more obvious with AAA, CMLL, Lucha Memes, and The Crash. Japan has a mix of everything with AJPW and NJPW back to being the big two, but we have joshi in Stardom and Sendai Girls, FMW being an alternative, Dragon Gate for the luchaersau crowd, Battlarts for the shoot stye fans, and FREEDOMS for your death matches. Dradition is also there. Finally Europe and Australia consist of wXw, Fight Club: Finland, NWE, World Series Wrestling, and PWA Black Label. Any ideas on where you'd like wrestlers to end up or companies to swap in or out (especially Europe and Australia) let me know. I'd love to work that stuff in. Same with legends you want to come in as rookies over time. I'll post updates here over time and put up a beta whenever that is ready, probably a long ways off. Any input would be lovely. Thank you.
  13. I was wondering if modders could get a list of what all the expansions look like, so they can be more prepared for getting a mod up asap after the release date?
  14. <p>I haven't made a mod in a decade but I feel like doing one for 2020. The problem is picking what mod to do.</p><p> </p><p> Any particular years people want?</p>
  15. <p>I am going to do my first mod in about a decade. I've been debating a few ideas in my head, but what would be the most interesting to you folks?</p><p> </p><p> a) 1995 (USA is not good, but lots of great promotions, Japan and Mexico are HUGE)</p><p> </p><p> b) Early 80s (territories)</p><p> </p><p> c) I like the idea of a database that has wrestlers/promotions etc.. from a variety of generations at the same time. I'm thinking something like the Y2K virus causes the world to go haywire. January 1st 2000 sees people from all over time mixed up all over the place with history wiped out. </p><p> </p><p> It is now 2020 and wrestling now has 20 years of history, but it's all mixed up. John Cena was the WWE's biggest star and Bruno Sammartino is there current top star. Shawn Michaels is an up and comer, while Randy Orton is a veteran. Stuff like that.</p><p> </p><p> Any interest?</p>
