He's been on a tear in my current save and this render really fits my idea of him as a top-level star. Thanks!</p>
  2. This is truly an impressive accomplishment. Haven't played it much yet, just looked around at bios and pics, but I am already thoroughly impressed. The bios are amazing and I can't believe how many people you've found great pictures of. The fact that you are amazed that people aren't more critical of the mod really shows how much work has gone into it and how perfectionistic you've been with this process. I know this will only get better with the tweaks you're implementing so I really look forward to seeing a more final mod that you yourself is satisfied with.
  3. Very nice work on those! Love the Gilbert, Booth, Jameson, and Queen ones. It's good to know that there are still renderers like you that keep this thread going.
  4. Great Xavi! Been wanting a re-render of him for while. Frankly, that Brady Prince might be even better, though. It's almost too good for Brady Prince.
  5. Finally a re-rendered Texas Hangman! Not I'm gonna hire him, but it's a lot more tempting now, at least. Also loving the new Oleg. I've been prone to hiring him at not getting around to doing much with him because of his render. If I still had it, I'd give it to you. Lost all my stuff quite a while ago which is why I'm out of the rendering game. Lost my heart when my harddrive crashed, heh.
  6. Absolutely love that Ross Henry, shipshirt! Gotta be my favorite render you've done. Great work on these last few batches overall, though.
  7. Really loving the TV logos. You wouldn't believe how much they add to my sense of the game world. Keep up the good work, man.
  8. Just wanted to say I really love the PPV carrier logos. I'll definitely be using them. Awesome stuff. KUTGW
  9. Now that you mention it... Guess I wasn't thinking there. I guess wrestling has always been about making as much money as possible and keeping expenses at an absolute minimum, so that theory is probably more solid.
  10. Yeah, it's not as pretty as you could've hoped. The thing is it's really old so the tools for creating it were probably not that good. The design was revolutionary for its time, though, I'm sure. I think the Sheik used to wear it in the Detroit territory in, like, the 60's. I actually think this is a belt design that will look better in the virtual Reaper-style than in metal and leather - if he chooses to do it, that is.
  11. Since I'd like to see your take on this one as well, I guess I should chip in with this. Hope it helps. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/Showtime4Lajf/US.jpg EDIT: And this http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v202/Showtime4Lajf/US_MIDAT.jpg
  12. I just realized that the name Ricky Dale Johnson is relatively similar to the uncanny singer/songwriter Daniel Dale Johnston. It could be a coincidence but with the level music-related inspiration used for a lot of names in the CornellVerse I figured it was a possibility. Another one that I don't think has been mentioned is the wrestler The Scotsman which was/is also the name of the owner of the Scotsmanality.com website way back when. He and Adam used to be friendly I think (they may still be but what do I know?), and Scotsman would usually be among the first to review the newest Extreme Warfare version. On a related note, I believe Scotsman's real last name is McGaw, so DaVE's home arena is probably named after him.
