  1. Hey guys.

So I need some booking ideas. I downloaded an awesome logo and started "Three Lions Wrestling" which is probably meant to be a British Fed but I am going to make it an American fed with Timothy Hawk, as the owner and booker. He honestly believes he is the smartest man in the business, and is starting a fed with 3 "divisions" (3 Lions) One division will focus on North American talent/wrestlers/ style, the other 2 will be Lucha/Mexico and Puro/Japanse Junior.

Each division will have their own champion and storylines that will occasionally intertwine.

I want to start it as a small promotion but with some nice capital because Hawk is wealthy. He will also start out as the champ of the North American division.

How does this sound? Any ideas for other workers to bring in? Angles? Champs for the other divisions?

I tried the other mods, but nothing comes close to the Thunderverse. So incredible.

Very cool idea! Look at previous and current PWI rosters and you should find quite a few workers for Puro.

  2. Is there any mod that comes close to how awesome the Thunderverse is? I mean fully realized fictitious world, all renders look like they came from the same place, richly developed stories, etc.?

In my mind only the C-Verse. I haven't played the Londonverse yet, but should be similar quality from what I have read. In the end I wish there would be more fictional mods.

If I would have more time I would start working on a fictional mod being set in the 80's as I think it would be fun to re-live the 80's in a fictional world.

The absolute best part so far... renaming some of the indy talent I've signed. I typically add talent and let them keep their indy names. But the AWF seems to be moving away from that a bit (based on all the renamed talent in FAW) and its a way to switch things up. I have an edited version of the name mod that Derek B (I think it was him) did awhile back, so its helped create some great name suggestions so far....<p> </p><p> I have: </p><p> </p><p> Lawrence Wrecker - manager The Deer-Stalker</p><p> Pressure Reeves - Scott Seal</p><p> Rare the Undying - Fergus Storm</p><p> Vidal Marcellin - Pierre Lejosne</p><p> Screech Wildcat - Fargo Korben</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> So far my best game also came with AWF, they are just easy to play with and open in reagrds to many directions to take. Screech Wildcat - Fargo Korben is funny.</p>

I always write stuff down even if I don't necessary post a thread about it or anything. PWI is a great company but I think they're deceptively challenging and a work in progress at the start.<p> </p><p> Scott Hart is the only legit star IMO and he's stuck in a tag team with a really underwhelming wrestler. Lots of guys on the fringes like the Van Holts, Morton, Doherty, O'Reilly, Marco De Francesco, Tyler Mercury, Paro etc. I think part of the fan is that you get to sort of control who gets into the next Mount Rushmore of PWI. Morton & De Francesco seem like givens, and Tyler Mercury too. </p><p> </p><p> I'm booking them more like ROH than I am NJPW though originally I was definitely more NJPW-like. I've borrowed a lot of ROH concepts: Top Prospect Tournament to give a dev guy a big debut and get the dev wrestlers some screen time, Survival of the Fittest, the tendency towards Iron Man matches (featuring Endurance having an obligatory 60min Iron Man title defense), Tag Wars and even a Trio Wars, Mayhem gets a Scramble Cage match (or however ROH called it) that's pretty much WarGames, the Honor Rumble at Night of Honor. From NJPW I've grabbed the 16-man cup, and obviously the G1 Climax/Tag League. I'll likely get a 3rd show going in October on a short 3 month deal to get through two 7 man groups for each tournament. </p><p> </p><p> I keep my roster at a steady 42 to account for those last two big tournaments. The goal is to mostly have easy ways of booking matches that matter but without going overboard on tournaments the way I tend to do. </p><p> </p><p> I've sadly stalled on this game and really need to get going towards Night of Glory to start the PWI wrestling season anew.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks for the input, definatly will be trying a new PWI game now.</p>

Will give it a try, really like the setting of where companies and workers are in that mode.</p>

How do I change this though?</p>

It's in match style. For example: A normal 1 vs 1 is 'regular'. A hardcore match is 'hardcore'. A diva match is 'eye candy'. Once you select the diva match, it automatically adds the eye candy match aim.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Perfect, thank you. I thought I was blind not finding it in the match aim section.</p><p> </p><p> Sorry another related question, where do I change which promotion needs to have which certain match aims in their shows?</p>
