  1. I love reading these reports. Especially as I watch all main cards during my playthrough. So I am deeply aware what is happening with any other company. So it is fun to see that for example Esteban Vega is an 18-0 top guy in your game, but in my WEFF save he is a 15-4 who has been going win to loss to win since 2003(I am in Mid 2007). Ekberg for example is 17-4 and while he became GAMMA Champion, this is only because Rav Kapur took a break. So he fought James Foster, who took the vacant belt again and took it. But he lost in his first defense to Nate MacReary and now lost to a generated Mexican Judoka. Elvis Milissis is 11-8. 3-6 in actual companies, since game start.
  2. My current WEFF Bantamweight Champion Bo-Bae Chung has one weapon and she isn't subtle about it. She also has the Bottler Trait, so that explains her only loss. And the submission win was over another "Populate Fighter" who has the world class kickboxing background and hence everyone took her down at the beginning of her career. Goto went from 3-0 pre-generated to 3-4 and now is 11-4 as her Takedown Defense gotten better.
  3. The AI can go bankrupt if it is in the debt too long. But as stated in the help files, older/bigger companies get more time to get their debts in order.
  4. While I wouldn't download a Mod based on AI art and AI bios, I don't think only having face pictures is a problem at all. Makes it easier to imagine their face in any weight class.
  5. I did indeed learned the lesson what it means if you allow a company like "TOP" to form, because you think it would be fun. And now you are full of so many Russian/Eastern European fighters with similar names, haha. It worked so well with two other companies, that I made that mistake there. Now I know for the future and other playthroughs. It ain't too bad.
  6. I don't really want to do much of a post, but this record and "comeback" of April Watson is just amazing in my WEFF. Finally becoming the champion that she was promised, only to fall in her first defense. But it wasn't just any TKO, like in her description, Rives broke her Jaw as well. Just loved this as an emergent story, that when she gets Knocked Out, her Jaw shatters.
  7. Yeah, I have the game windowed and I use the load times to do other things. That a game like this gets heavier load times the more it goes on, that is ok. I play lots of Paradox Interactive Games, I know what happens when games crawl to a halt. But, I am still just 3 years in, in my current playthrough. So, the slowdown is yet to come. I am aware it will happen, though.
  8. I agree with the sentiment of the OP. WMMA was always my favorite season, but I dropped off after 3. Not played in forever and I don't even watch MMA anymore. Decided to get back into 5 during Black Friday and I have been playing it every day now. Finally playing a real WEFF game, that I never did in 2 or 3, as the populate fighter feature wasn't a thing. It is so amazing, also adding new pictures or a few own characters as well. I watch all the main card fights of any show possible(well, I mostly skip to the end, but I keep up with it much more) and keep engaged with how the companies operate. It is so fun. Some days I only have one event happen of my own company, but I never feel like this is slow. Because, it is so fun to see what the AI does. I made GAMMA and ALPHA-1 do the whole "Rapid Fire" AI strategy, which I just love. In the earlier games, the AI ran limited shows and so many fighters barely fought. Now, everyone is active, people get better and it is just fun to see. I already got more than enough out of my purchase. What a wonderful experience.
