  2. I didn't understand the "screwjob" angle at all. I get the Montreal screw job, I was there for that, but this made 0 sense, I'm very disappointed in the finish of the women's match.

I enjoyed the Reigns match more than I thought I would. I'll be honest though, I was a Roman fan before Mania and now I'm less of one. I really HATE the "I'm not a good guy, I'm not a bad guy, I'm the guy" line. I understand what they re trying to pull off but it seems forced and makes him unlikable (not like a heel unlikable, just an annoying go away unlikable).

Overall, the show was better than I anticipated, but the end of the last couple matches really had me scratching my head.

  3. I'm all for Roman losing last night, I get it I do, but I'm pretty over the cheap finishes as of late. And I know I can't be the only one watching thinking Where the hell is Ambrose, why isn't he running to the aid of Roman.

On another note, I hate hate hate hate the character they have developed for Charolette. Her promos are boring, she's constantly bringing up her dad, and she can't decide if she's a heel or a face. On top of all that she isn't even good eye candy! ;)

As a huge Ambrose fan I was excited to see him win, but they once again seem to be playing hot potato with the IC title that's no good for anyone involved. TBH when Dean won I was thinking to myself it would set up Roman to win his match as well then have KO win the Rumble and challenge Roman at Mania. There's no way they let him win the Rumble a second year in a row, so they have to put the strap on him before that. Unless, as stated above they are just going to redo the same angle they did for Daniel Brian.

  4. I thought the PPV was average. I'm a huge Ambrose fan and would have loved to see him win, but wasn't surprised at all he didn't. I thought it was a great match though, very physical. I don't know why both after Reigns won, I completely forgot about Shamus. So I guess you could say I was "shocked" when he cashed in. I do agree with everyone else though, it makes no sense that he has been buried for the past 4 months and now suddenly he's the champion. They should have just put the title on KO it at least would have been a more entertaining story.
  5. I think Extreme Rules was pretty average overall, I think just about every match ended the way I expected.

Ambrose is by far my favorite wrestler so it was nice to see him finally get a PPV win. I didn't mind them "reusing" the driving off in a car crap. Although I've very thankful they didn't feed us old OJ Simpson footage and try to sell it as the chase. I do however wish they would've shown more footage into "what happened outside the arena". It would have been fun to see that match go the entire match with spots here and there of them wrestling in various spots throughout the city.

My biggest complaint is probably the main event. I was ok with Seth winning the belt because all of his matches are so fun to watch, he's always flying and doing crazy stuff. But there was nothing exciting about yesterday's match. I get the need to sell him as the weasel heel who wins not on his own merit, but every now and then it would be great to see him just win a match outright. And like someone else said, I really miss the days of a steal cage actually keeping someone out.

  6. Uh no, there's a reason why Sting didn't join way back when, and Vince buries WCW cause they dared to compete with WWE and they made Vince pull his head out of his ass for a change and put on a decent product.

Take a look at the product now. It's garbage, particuarly compared to back when WCW and WWF were in their prime and drawing in the ratings. Now WWE can't even draw a 3 in the ratings.

And if Vince has no reason to bury WCW, why does he have his commentators trash it every chance he gets? JBL during that match was doing nothing but trashing WCW. Sorry, but no, Vince is still butthurt that WCW dared to compete with him and he continues to take potshots any chance he can get.

I won't disagree that the announce team buries WCW, but for the sake of making it seem "real" why wouldn't they? I was a pretty hardcore WCW fan back in the day and I won't disagree to some level that yes Vince "punished" a lot of the WCW guys for crossing him, but I don't think that is the case any more.

Think about it for a minute from Sting's perspective, you don't think he knew he was going to lose before he ever signed on for the match? I would almost guarantee the entire storyline and match was scripted before he signed on the dotted line because he was so worried about "getting buried" and how he would be handled. He was booked incredibly strong from start to finish, every segment he was in (with the exception of the actual match) he came out looking better than Triple H.

Again, I would have loved to see Sting win, but they booked him incredibly strong, and the man had an amazing match at Wrestlemania, let's be happy about that. Like people said earlier, Sting will probably never be on TV again whereas Triple H is still involved in storylines, it just made since for H to go over.

  7. I enjoyed the show, there were a few things I didn't agree with but overall I was marking out pretty hard.

Like most people, I don't understand the decision to put Taker over Wyatt. I liked the idea of Wyatt bing "the new face of fear" it was a perfect pass the torch moment. Now you're right, you don't have to win to get "over" but it certainly helps.

I see both sides to the US title argument, I would've liked to see someone other than Cena go over Russev just because he doesn't need the rub, but I am glad they are trying to put more star power behind the titles.

Loved the Brock match. I knew the second Reigns made it to the ring there was no way he was going over, the fans where crapping all over him, if I didn't know better I would've thought Brock was the face the entire match. Like everyone else said I think having Seth cash in and win the title was the perfect ending I loved it!

I am disappointed Sting lost, but it was fun to see him in the ring. I get the symbolism of having NWO come down and do the entire NWO Vs. DX thing, but I hated it. Sting was never really aligned with the NWO and it was over kill, I would've like it better if it were people like Flair and Booker T who came down to help the Stinger, but I'm just being picky.

Also, the Rock and Ronda segment was comedy gold, maybe the highlight of the show for me.

  8. I've been watching WWE Network since the UK launch, and now that I've caught up on all the original content and watched a few of the Beyond the Ring documentaries, I started to watch a few of the PPV events, randomly. I've now decided that I'm going to watch the WWE, WCW and eventually ECW through in chronological order from 1985. The events I'll be including are anything classed as a 'PPV' and all WWF SNME and NWA/WCW COTC events, until I get to 1993 and I'll start including WWF Raw. I'm hoping that by the time I get to 1993 (should take me a while, I'll probably only watch one event every couple of days) that WCW Saturday Night will be uploaded, also.

Looking forward to watching them in order, I've never really seen much of anything pre-1995, so I'm hoping to get a much better appreciation of certain legends like Steamboat, Funk, Piper, etc. who I've only ever really seen in 'classic' match ups and compilation videos.

I started doing this about 6 months ago and it really brought back my love for wrestling. One thing I hate about the WWE network though is that they don't have all the Raws or Nitros. They have most of them (if not all by now) during the Monday Night wars but then it gets pretty sporadic. Once you get into the new millennium there are a few years that don't have any or literally just have 3 or 4 for the entire year. I'm really hoping they improve on this.

Thanks guys these are great, especially the Puerto Rican edition!!! Sorry, didn't realize they already existed. Sometimes going through all the pages and looking for exactly what you want is a little daunting.

  10. I like it. The idea of one of them getting right into the inside is an interesting one, although whether they'd be any better off in the company than out is another matter. Short of Christian Faith, I don't know if any of the workers have that much access to Richard Eisen. Still, seeing how he trys to get close should be an interesting!

Thanks man, I'm pretty excited about it. And I've already thought of who my inside man is. I think it will be a shocker, but I think the story behind it will make a lot of sense.
