  1. Terrible news man! Whatever your next project is, I'll be checking it out for sure.
  2. Ron Killings & BG James vs. Sonny Siaki & Ekmo Comments: The Kru could take this but I'm gonna go off the board a bit. I think this would be a nice win to truly establish these two. Ultimate-X 3 Qualifying Match Jason Cross vs. Sonjay Dutt vs. Kid Kash Comments: Dutt would be cool too, but Kash should get the win here I think. He can be a legit threat. Chris Vaughn vs. Legend Comments: He's getting pushed to the moon until TNA signs Randy Orton. Daizee Haze vs. Daffney Comments: Low-Ki vs. Samoa Joe Comments: We'll see whether Low-Ki will turn into a big star, but it's Joe's time for now. Joel & Jose Maximo vs. Mike Awesome & Kanyon Comments: Death. AJ Styles vs. Elix Skipper Comments: Skipper's time as an upper-tier X-Division guy seems to be dwindling, but he's a solid hand to have guys like Styles go over.
  3. TNA X-Division Championship AJ Styles © vs. Michael Shane - I like Shane, but this isn't his night. TNA Tag Team Championships 3 Live Kru © vs. Glenn Gilbertti and David Young Hardcore Match The Sandman vs. Abyss - Should be fun. Konnan vs. CM Punk - Justice for Konnan! Ekmo Fatu vs. Sonjay Dutt As for Xplosion, whatever makes you more likely to keep putting out content!
  4. I might be in the minority here, but I feel like they didn't do enough on Rampage to build a story when they had the audience locked in for Punk. I haven't been watching any wrestling and I tuned in for him, though I didn't watch Dynamite last night because it seems like it's just going to be the same old wrestling formula. I dunno. It's cool to see him back but I haven't really felt the need to tune in on a regular basis yet.
  5. Kenny King vs. Dustin Rhodes Comments: Kenny King is fun, but Dustin's got this. Chris Harris & James Storm vs. Ron & Don Harris Comments: Death Sentence for their TNA contracts hopefully. Jeff Hardy vs. Kanyon Comments: I'm gonna go with a DQ here to keep Kanyon strong for now. Hardy can eventually get a win but not sure it'll happen yet. Eddie Edwards vs. Monty Brown Comments: TNA X-Division Championship Christopher Daniels © vs. Jerry Lynn Comments: I think Daniels is gonna lose in a bigger event to a bigger wrestler. Samoa Joe maybe.
  6. I had this all written and booked and then I went on YouTube and saw Adams' debut happened basically exactly the same way - he showed up in a big, totally inconspicuous trenchcoat, pretended to be friends with Bret, and then held him for an nWo attack and took the coat off to reveal an nWo shirt. I must have buried that deep in my memory Bobby Eaton is a great friend if he leaves his cushy road agent job and tries to avenge the destruction of Lord Steven Regal against Goldberg. That would be a sight to see, wouldn't it?
  7. Did you guys randomly generate by position on the card or was it totally random? Like was it possible for you to have 0 main eventers?
  8. I love that no one had any clue this was happening. Great realistic touch.
  9. It's so stupid that someone one-starred this already. I'll be reading. Tune in for five matches pitting WCW against the new World order, including contests for the two top prizes in the sport: Diamond Dallas Page's United States Heavyweight Championship and "The Man They Call" Sting's World Heavyweight Championship! Can WCW keep their momentum rolling, or will the nWo spread its darkness over the company once more? Here is the card for the biggest pay-per-view event of the year thus far: <div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:5px;background: #F1F1F1; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"> vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Chris Jericho These two young stars will go at it for the second straight month as they jockey for position not only in the cruiserweight division, but in WCW at large. Jericho picked up the win last month at Souled Out and then assaulted Mysterio after the match, though Rey had a better month of February, in which he pinned the Cruiserweight Champion Eddy Guerrero in a tag match. Will Jericho’s ascent continue, or will Mysterio gain revenge for his loss at Souled Out? </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:5px;background: #F1F1F1; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"> vs. Bill Goldberg vs. ??? Both men claim that the other brings shame to the Guerrero lineage, though only one of them has repeatedly cheated and blindsided the other, and that’s the current champion. Can Eddy continue his months-long reign with the championship or will his nephew Chavo shock the world? </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:5px;background: #F1F1F1; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"> vs. Harlem Heat © w/Jacqueline Moore vs. Mortis & Wrath w/James Vandenberg This one should be a straight up fight. Vandenberg’s monsters look to capture the World Tag belts, although one of the top teams in WCW history stands in their way. Luger took this one to heart, ripping into Hennig and Rude and challenging Hennig for SuperBrawl. Hennig accepted and said he’s finally going to rid WCW of the talentless, brainless Luger once and for all! </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:5px;background: #F1F1F1; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"> vs. Diamond Dallas Page © w/Kimberly Page & Rick Steiner vs. Scott Steiner w/Buff Bagwell Since Scott Steiner turned on his brother Rick, we have seen a different side of the man. He’s dyed his hair, called himself “Big Poppa Pump,” and has been attempting to woo Kimberly (Diamond Dallas Page’s newly revealed wife) in his pursuit of the United States belt. He went as far as to give her a set of roses and chocolate, enraging DDP to the point where he made himself susceptible to an nWo ambush the following week. With Rick in his corner, can Page continue his hot streak, or are we in line for a new, dangerous United States Champion? </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:5px;background: #F1F1F1; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"> vs. The Giant vs. Kevin Nash w/Eric Bischoff It’s Giant vs. Giant as the former nWo member looks to prove both to the nWo itself and to WCW that he is the biggest, strongest man in the company. At almost every turn, Nash (and Eric Bischoff) have proven one step ahead of The Giant, though. Nash even attempted to lift the 500-pounder up for a Jackknife, but he was interrupted by Sting. At SuperBrawl, can The Giant make his mark as the top big man in the sport or will Nash be able to lift The Giant for his finishing maneuver and leave him laying? </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:5px;background: #F1F1F1; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"> vs. Ric Flair & Dean Malenko w/The Horsemen vs. Raven & Chris Benoit w/The Flock Unsanctioned Match When Chris Benoit betrayed The Horsemen and joined The Flock, Ric Flair went into a tailspin. It even got Arn Anderson as well as Benoit’s former friend Dean Malenko involved in figuring out just what went wrong, with Flair catching a vicious beating along the way. After “The Nature Boy” begged his old Horsemen buddy JJ Dillon to book a match with him and Raven or Benoit, Dillon acquiesced, though he made clear that WCW would not sanction the match. Meaning that any damage incurred by Flair in this match is his own responsibility. With that in mind, can Flair and Malenko gain some measure of revenge on the enigmatic Raven and his new protege? </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:5px;background: #F1F1F1; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"> vs. Bret Hart & The British Bulldog vs. “Hollywood” Hogan & Randy Savage w/the nWo Since “The Hitman” debuted in WCW at Starrcade, he has made his intentions very clear: he wants to be in the ring with “Hollywood” Hogan. Hogan has eluded him at every turn, including faking an injury at Souled Out, but at SuperBrawl, he teams with “Macho Man” Randy Savage to take on Bret and his brother-in-law Davey Boy Smith! The trump card, however, is the recent arrival of Savage’s close friend Brian Adams at ringside, coupled with the injury to Jim Neidhart after a vicious nWo beatdown. With the numbers game firmly against them (Adams, Bischoff, and Elizabeth will be at ringside), can The Hart Family defeat the nWo, or will Hogan and Savage deal a deep blow to Hart’s claim that he’s “the best there is, was, or ever will be”? </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:5px;background: #F1F1F1; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"> vs. Sting © vs. Scott Hall Back in November, thanks to some nWo shenanigans (shocker), Scott Hall claimed victory in World War 3 to guarantee him a title shot at SuperBrawl VIII regardless of whether the champion was a member of WCW or the nWo. While Sting was able to conquer the “Hollywood” reign of terror at Starrcade and defeated a game “Macho Man” at Souled Out, he has never faced a threat quite like the devious, athletic, resilient Scott Hall. Gene asks their thoughts about their tag match with Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage this Sunday, and for an update on Jim Neidhart. Bret responds by saying that Jim is taking care of himself and he’ll be back soon, but their focus is on finally getting their hands on the poisonous nWo. Bret calls them out and says that he knows they’re probably planning on jumping him to soften them up before Sunday, so they can just come out if they want a fight! Hogan, Savage, and Eric Bischoff oblige, as they walk down to the ring to meet face-to-face. Heenan doesn’t like this; he feels there’s something up their sleeves. Okerlund starts in with Hogan, mentioning how he and this weasel Bischoff looked pretty unhappy when Savage accepted the Harts’ challenge last week. Hogan says there’s nothing to be unhappy about, jack, because The Monster Maniacs are back together and there isn’t a damn thing that can stop them. Savage says when the pot is cookin’ and the going gets hot, that’s when steel sharpens steel, oooh yeah! And that’s when friends look out for friends… As Savage says this, a large man in an nWo shirt and sunglasses slides in the ring behind the Harts. Bret and Davey sense him and turn around, but before they can react, there’s a right hand to the head of Hart and Hogan and Savage attack! “Oh my goodness, who is that?!” Tenay shouts. “That’s Brian Adams, Tenay! That’s Savage’s friend!” Heenan yells in retort. With Bret and the Bulldog grounded, Hogan pulls off his belt and whips each of them across the back with it. It’s jacked up morons like Luger that give real technicians like himself a bad name, and that’s why he felt the need to join the new World order - to remake WCW as a respectable wrestling company. Luger replies by saying that his beef with Hennig has nothing to do with the nWo or WCW, and that Curt tried to take out his livelihood. Bagwell’s mousy cackle echoes over the PA system as Page immediately leaves ringside and runs to the back, giving Meng a count-out victory. Buff hits the back with Page in tow yelling for Kimberly. Rating: 54 (C-; Hotline); 79 (B; promo) </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:5px;background: #F1F1F1; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"> vs. Booker T w/Stevie Ray & Jacqueline Moore vs. Wrath w/Mortis & James Vandenberg Booker matched Wrath in the toughness factor and looked to use his superior athleticism to win this one, but it was never to be. Mortis slid in the ring and attacked Booker from behind, forcing Nick Patrick to call for the disqualification. With Vandenberg barking orders, Mortis and Wrath proceed to take out the Tag Team Champions. A Chokeslam to Stevie Ray and a Flatliner to Booker later, Mortis and Wrath stand tall heading into the match at SuperBrawl. Rating: 71 (B-; match); 79 (B; post-match) </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 1px solid #000000; margin:5px;background: #F1F1F1; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 1px 3px ";"> Back in JJ Dillon’s office, Ric Flair knocks on the door. He calmly asks Dillon to let him take on Raven this Sunday, but JJ continues to balk. He says he can’t in good conscience let Flair in the ring with Raven and Benoit after he’s seen him take beatings like this. He knows Flair and what he would do to get his hands on those guys, but as a friend, he can’t allow it. Flair continues to pester JJ, eventually pleading with him. Man-to-man, Flair needs this. He says between those ropes, there’s nobody who can go toe-to-toe with “The Nature Boy,” and he’s been staring at the ceiling at night thinking about what he’s going to do when he gets his hands on The Flock. He says that if JJ truly considers himself a friend, he knows that Ric needs to be able to handle his business on his own. JJ takes a moment, sighs, and tells him that he will book Flair and Dean Malenko against Benoit and Raven this Sunday. But let it be known that it will not be officially sanctioned by WCW - if something happens to Flair in this match, it will not be covered by WCW’s insurance and WCW will not be paying the medical bills. Flair thanks Dillon, shakes his hand, and hugs him. Despite Savage’s inferior size, he was able to take the win after Brian Adams clubbed Traylor in the back of the head behind Mickey Jay’s back. A Flying Elbow ended it. After the match, Hogan grabs a mic: “With Macho Man and Big Brian Adams on the same page as Hollywood, jack, the nWo is unstoppable!” “DIG IT!!” Savage adds, with Hogan cackling. Bischoff inserted himself as the X-factor here, grabbing Sting’s World Heavyweight Title from ringside. The finish came during a fracas, as Mickey Jay was dealing with Nash and Sting. Bischoff slid the belt in the ring, and Hall nailed Giant with a low blow, followed up by a shot with the championship belt! He slid it out of the ring and made the cover for a huge victory. After the match, the nWo gets a definitive one-up on Sting and Giant. Nash grabs a chair from ringside and slams it into the back of The Giant a handful of times before he and Hall shove him out of the ring with their feet (with considerable effort). Sting tries to come to his aid, but he’s tossed aside by Nash. The numbers game is too much for The Stinger - he receives a Jackknife and Outsider’s Edge for his efforts. Bischoff and Nash add insult to injury as they grab the World Title and wrap it around the waist of Scott Hall! Tenay wonders aloud: with six nights to go until SuperBrawl, will this be the sight after the pay-per-view?! 14. Non-Title Match: 'The Dragon' Mikey Lay [vs] 'Mainstream' Jimmy Hernandez - Name change for Mikey - Val Venis gimmick maybe? 'The Supreme Star' Spencer Spade [vs] 'Blue Blood' Paul Huntingdon 'Bad Bad' Lenny Brown [vs] 'Platinum' James Prudence ZWB, Ekuma & High Flyin' Hawaiian [vs] Des Davids, Big Smack Scott & Kurt Laramee w/ Primus Allen - Z gets the win back. Brett Biggins & Oliver Kobb [vs] Greg & Matthew Keith w/ Eric Eisen 'The Scoundrel' Rogue w/ Valiant [vs] 'The Eighth Deadly Sin' John Greed w/ Scythe - Everyone's going Greed, I'll try the other way.
  15. I'm not a doctor but I always laugh when people bring up the possibility of a partial ACL tear. Your ACLs are wound up like rubber bands and if you're putting enough pressure on it for it to tear, it's going to tear fully like 95% of the time. I unfortunately know this from experience and years of doctor visits lol. Horrible for Miz.
  16. Konnan’s TNA Contract vs. NWA World Tag Team Title Shot Konnan vs. Michael Shane Comments: I'm a Konnan guy so I am not gonna pick against him here. AJ Styles vs. CM Punk Comments: Punk isn't there yet. TNA X-Division Championship Christopher Daniels © vs. Chris Sabin Comments: Jeff Hardy vs. Kid Kash Comments:
  17. Recently beat FF7R. Thought the story was a really cool way to make a remake while still building anticipation for future installments. Now I'm on Horizon: Zero Dawn. Interesting game, pretty fun, but a little overwhelming at times with *all* the crafting that needs to be done. Having a good time though.
  18. Ah I missed a week of predictions! Great show though - excited to see how you fit Hardy in with the rest of the roster since he seems to fit like a glove. TNA X-Division Championship #1 Contendership Chris Sabin vs. Elix Skipper Comments: We saw Elix already, let's go with Sabin. Danny Doring & Roadkill vs. CM Punk & Julio Dinero Comments: Rick Santel vs. Ekmo Comments: Sting vs. Simon Diamond Comments: Yes or No, will Team Jarrett interfere in the main event?: Nope! But maybe Abyss? Maybe? Nope. Let's go nope.
  19. 'Sensational' Steven Parker [vs] 'The King of Charisma' Robbie Wright w/ The Trust High Flyin' Hawaiian w/ Ekuma [vs] 'The African Assassin' Makutsi Ranger w/ Marshall Dillon [vs] 'The Con Man' Sammy Smoke Matty Faith [vs] American Machine (Ammac) w/ The Heroes Guild 'The Show Stealer' ZWB [vs] 'The One' Primus Allen w/ The New Pain Alliance Valiant & Rogue [vs] The Sharp Shooters [vs] Randy Unleashed & Hollywood Bret Starr - I'm a little unsure about the last 3 matches here, and this one most of all, but I'm going with my gut.
  20. Justice for Atom Smasher!! Also, push Primus to the moon. He's a beast. Great show, excited to continue the road to Challenge!
  21. Thanks guys! I think he's out of the woods, just doing rehab and stuff, so I'm always running back and forth and just wiped out. Between that and work, all I've been wanting to do in my spare time is watch movies and play (other) video games. Been getting the itch to come back though, so I'll probably switch back over to TEW pretty soon.
  22. Dragon Kid vs. Elix Skipper Comments: C.W. Anderson & The Sandman vs. The Gathering (CM Punk & Julio Dinero) Comments: I think I've finally got this nailed down. Don Harris vs. Kid Kash Comments: There's a lot more in Kid Kash than there is in either Harris brother. AJ Styles vs. Glenn Gilbertti Comments: I'll eat a hat if Styles loses this. Tag Team Match for the vacant NWA World Tag Team Championships 3Live Kru (BG James & Konnan) vs. The New Franchise (Shane Douglas & Michael Shane) Comments: I could see this going the other way, but I'm gonna roll with Konnan. Control of TNA Clash Jeff Jarrett vs. Erik Watts Comments: Please get Erik Watts out of here.
  23. Yup, he was feeling isolated backstage and that was that. I think he was also angry at not being on Starrcade (along with quite a few others - rookie mistake not running some BS battle royal on the pre-show). WCW starts out with kind of a crappy backstage environment that I've been trying to make my way toward fixing. Piper was a casualty of that. To be honest, I didn't plan on doing as much with him as they were doing at the time - his Hogan feud had run its course and then some by then. I'd be open to him coming back at some point but obviously that won't happen just yet. As for the next update: I posted this in Discord but not here. My dad and I both got COVID about 6 weeks ago - I recovered after a week or so but he was on a ventilator for a month, so I've been pretty busy helping him and running back and forth to the hospital. He's thankfully on the road to recovery now, but that's why there's been such a delay since the last show. It'll be back as soon as I've got a little less craziness going on!
  24. Grudge Match: 'The Beast' Remo Richardson [vs] 'Your Hero' Atom Smasher w/ Brandon James & The Heroes Guild - This is a tough one. I can see you building Remo up more to take on Cornell if he beats Golden (spoilers on my prediction on the main event), but I'm too big a Smasher fan to go against him. North American Title 'A-Frame' Strap Match: 'The Show Stealer' ZWB [vs] 'Mainstream' Jimmy Hernandez © - Z had his time for now, let's keep it on Jimmy. Grudge Match: The Sharp Shooters (Gilmore, Morgan & Parker) [vs] Hollywood Bret Starr, Randy Unleashed & Justin Sensitive Grudge Match: 'The Disco Stud' Robbie Retro [vs] 'The One' Primus Allen - Robbie got by Davids but Primus keeps it strong here. SWF World Tag Team Title Match: Rogue & Valiant w/ Willy LaRoux [vs] The Awesomeness © - Get them the belts!! Everything To Gain Upgrade Attempt: 'The Supreme Star' Spencer Spade w/ Dulce Moreno [vs] 'Rough Justice' Tommy Cornell w/ The Trust - Honestly, Tommy stealing Spade's shine and getting the belt off of his hard work will do more for Spade's long-term character than him cashing it in would. SWF World Heavyweight Title Triple Threat Match: 'The Living Legend' Rocky Golden © [vs] 'The Dark Reaper' Scythe [vs] 'The Eighth Deadly Sin' John Greed - Super Rocky retains. Bonus Questions: 1). Which Match will be the Match Of The Night? Tommy vs. Spade 2). What will the Overall Rating of the show be? (Within five, 1 point. Spot on, 2 points) 89 3). How Many Championships will change hands? (out of a possible three, not including the ETG Contract) Just the tag belts.
