  1. Maybe not but the odds should be a whole lot longer than 25/1 and 15/1.
  2. It can go many different ways yes, but seeing as the two MITB contracts are for the respective brands world title, the two options where one winner cashes in and fails only for the other winner to cash in are pointless.
  3. Yeah, Morrison isn;t even in the MITB match, and as for the idea of CM Punk coming back to ruin the final of the tournament at the August ppv, leading to Punk challenging someone to a match at Summerslam, when do you think Summerslam is?
  4. They must have had like 1 match on Smackdown no wonder I don't remember them as a team. Must have done more run ins than matches.
  5. To my recollection Christian has lost 3 title matches so far. Match 1: The first defense 5 days after winning it: Was a really good match, both getting in even offense won by a RKO out of the blue. Match 2: Over The Limit. Again a very good match, won again cleanly although could have gone either way. Match 3: Capitol Punishment. Orton again pins Christian after an RKO but has a legitimate complaint as his foot was well under the rope. Not really sure how he has been made to look a joke. He has shown he can hang in the main event and perform more than adequately. The wait and see line as you call it is more than relevant here as the story clearly has a good bit left to be told. Yes WWE get it wrong more than right, but that doesn't mean it is going to happen here. It might and it might not. If it does end simply as him being buried half a dozen times then by all means I will agree on the point but not until it's over. As for him being treated in a bad fashion by the GM. Again I don't see it other than your typical 'gm makes the right and fair call but the heel sees it from a different perspective and feels he has been wrong done by him and the fans' kind of way. I'm certainly not 'trotting out' an old line for the sake of it, I would just rather wait and see what happens rather than jump on something for what people generally believe is going to happen.
  6. Because this storyline has not fully played out yet and for all we know Christian will be champion again by Summerslam. Just assuming he is going to end up the same way as Punk/Barrett etc is a bit foolish. Just wait and see what happens first, and if it ends with Christian having been completely dominated like Punk etc then by all means berate the way the way it has played out.
  7. Really not sure how you can say they've dropped the ball on the whole Christian thing. Sure, I was pissed when he lost the title 5 days after winning it but I'm happy enough with how things have gone since then. He is still in the main event a few months later on his own merits rather than off the whole Edge retirement angle and I believe that he is getting the title again soon enough. Even if he doesn't he is in a much better position now than say 6 months ago. I like the way the whole story has developed so far and am looking forward to where it is heading.
  8. That does sound quite cool actually Zeel. Although I should point out that there is no Bragging Rights this year.

Looks like a triple threat or a fatal four way, not sure what I'd prefer in all honesty. Think it's pretty obvious we will see a Christian heel turn soon, hopefully sooner rather than later, his face promos just don't do it for me compared to his 2005 work.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Most likely Henry to come down to ring and attack Orton after he RKO'd him this week. Christian to come down and make the save and there you have your fatal four way.</p>

So when someone all the sudden is gone, or something happens differently, they have to think on their feet, and try to get back into the same "program" as before, so as to not screw up other storylines that intersync with them, etc. At least that's my thinking.<p> </p><p> EDIT: I can remember two times I was really dissapointed because of this. Hardcore Holly on ECW, and Joey Mercury. Hardcore Holly went one on one with I believe RVD, for almost the whole show. Thing was, 80% of it was after Holly went through a table badly, getting a really good cut clean accross his back. He didn't stop wrestling, they did the whole match, and the crowd was really impressed with it. The following week he shows up on ECW with the gash and all, and still wants to compete. The crowd was really into him, and I think if they would have capitalized on it, Holly would/could/should have been headlining within' a couple of weeks of it, against just about anyone.</p><p> </p><p> Mercury was in a big tag match, or maybe it was the money in the bank match (I can't remember). He had his face smashed by that ladder that Jeff Hardy jumped onto. He was really hurt badly. The next time he come on WWE, they showed all that, and the crowd was cheering away when they seen he showed up anyways. Instead of capitalizing on it, they had him whine about it. I honestly think they were going to try something similar to what Cody Rhodes is doing with the Mysterio assault on his face. The problem though, was he was totally ripe for either a face change, or becoming a "bad A..!" The crowd was ready for either. But not what happened, turned him into a cry-baby which lost all the heat in about two or three minutes of his promo. Bad thing for me is I always liked Joey Mercury alot better then Johnny Nitro/John Morrison. I think his ring psychology is allot better, he talks better, and he is more believable as a legit threat to me then I think Morrison ever will.... Morrison just looks to me if you were to look at him really mean, and punch him in the nose, he would litterally cry. SO does the WOO WOO guy by the way. I can't get into people I think I could probably chew out and make them cry. Seems these are the people the Internet fans are wanting pushed though, which really boggle's me.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><p> The match you are thinking of with Mercury was at Armageddon 2006 iirc. Was a fatal four way tag team match for the WWE Tag Team Championships. London & Kendrick © vs MNM vs The Hardy's vs Regal & Dave Taylor. I remember it well because of the incident you speak of. Was a horrible injury but made the match better in a sick way. Although it was a pretty bloody good match anyway.</p>
  11. Again, maybe I'm just being naive but I don't see how anything is as clear cut as some people are making out. The titles could be switched around at any point in the futrure in a variety of ways, just because one match goes one way tonight doesn't mean another one has to go a certain way.
  12. Sorry, how exactly do we 'know' who is winning the Christian vs Del Rio match? You're just assuming Christian has to win it so that Smackdown have the title by the end of the night. There are so many things they could do by having Del Rio win it.
  13. I was just under the impression that the lighting messed up in someway during the Swagger - Sin Cara match. It's happened a few times and I'm sure the opening match of one of the PPV's during the last 12-18 months was contested mostly in the dark due to failed lighting.
  14. I'm really skeptical that this is true to be honest, but thought I'd post it just in case. Not seeing a great deal of it being reported and like I say, despite it saying for more info go to http://www.wwe.com, there is absolutely no mention of it on there.
  15. The USA network sent out the following today… WWE 2011 WWE® DRAFT TAKES OVER MONDAY NIGHT RAW, MONDAY, APRIL 25 AT 9/8c The entire roster of WWE Superstars and Divas will take part in the 2011 WWE Draft next week, April 25, on MONDAY NIGHT RAW live on USA Network at 9/8c. In a thrilling night of television, all WWE Superstars and Divas, including WWE Champion The Miz, John Cena, Randy Orton, Rey Mysterio, Big Show, Alberto Del Rio and Sin Cara along with WWE Divas Champion Brie Bella, Eve and Kelly Kelly could be drafted to either RAW or SmackDown. After Monday Night's momentous draft, John Cena could be on "Friday Night Smackdown," which airs each week on Syfy at 8/7c and Rey Mysterio could be coming to MONDAY NIGHT RAW. The Annual WWE Draft is a chance to renew old rivalries or have WWE Superstars face off against each other for the very first time, bringing a new and fresh feel to each show. Just seen that on another forum, from 411mania. I have no clue whether this is considered a reputable site as I don't use sites like this or pwmania at all really. Interesting if true. EDIT: I will pont out that having gone to wwe.com I can find absolutely no mention of it what so ever.
  16. Problem with the divas division is that they just don't use the right people. Imagine a division consisting of Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Natalya, Awesome Kong, Gail Kim, Melina, Michelle McCool, Maryse and Kelly Kelly being looked at properly by someone with a bit of booking ability. You've got a mix there of some actual decent wrestlers like Natalya, Mickie, Beth and Gail Kim, a big monster in Awesome Kong, decent enough workers like Melina and Michelle, Maryse who is not too bad either, and Kelly Kelly who you can build on and seems keen to get better. Hell if you get Victoria back as well it would be spot on. Used to love the days of Lita vs Trish, they put on some really decent matches with the odd spot or bump, but since they left it's not been close.
  17. Hey guys, does anyone know what the situation is with the 2011 draft? Last I heard was it was scheduled for April 18th, so next week.
  18. The Awesome Kong promo was shown here in the UK, right after a break, so perhaps you fast forwarded, thought it was an advert, and missed it?
  19. Wow, I did not see that coming. I have always liked Edge. I'd never say he was one of my most favourites but I've always liked him and his character. Is a shame he has had to retire, but he has made the right decision and there are worse ways of going out than being the World Heavyweight Champion. I'm also pissed off because I'm currently planning my new dynasty which will start the second Raw after Wrestlemania, but now feel compelled to write Edge out due to retirement. Bah.
  20. I actually have some ideas about what they could do with him creatively but I will keep them to myself for now as I may use them in my upcoming dynasty.
  21. Would be nice to see him get a decent feud going with someone. Morrison isn't great on the mic at the minute but he isn't awful, and the best way to get better would be practice. So give him a feud where he can get on the mic as well as show his ability in the ring and it should help him heaps unless he really fecks up the mic skills part.
  22. Now I would have to disagree with that a little, I would not say the chances were zero, slim maybe, but not zero. Logically I would say Morrison has been built up very well over the past few months with his feud with Sheamus and his on-going rivalry with The Miz. Morrison would be the perfect logical choice to win the rumble if the WWE are going to go with someone who is a surprise winner outside of the usual main eventers. Have him come in early and last a while, almost being eliminated a few times only to somehow avoid putting both feet on the floor, gives the crowd time to believe in him. But then they could have him do that but get eliminated 3rd last and it would still be good for him.
