  1. I just got a special feeling in the c0ckles of my heart. Or maybe below the c0ckles ... maybe in the sub-c0ckle area. Maybe in the liver. Maybe in the kidneys. Maybe even in the colon, i don't know. (I'm sorry Nevvy, I got so excited, I had a Denis Leary moment. lol) Kurt Angle & Chris Hero vs. Jerry Lynn & Chris Jericho I need a Hero, I admit it, but I think the former champ is gonna be too strong on this occassion. But his time will come, and we'll all celebrate with a giant bowl of Her-e-o's! The Briscoe Boys vs. The True World Order Again, the Briscoes are good, and have been on a minor roll, but the tWo (which sounds like an airline) are still trying to prove they're legit. This is another step towards that end. Juventud Guerrera vs. Christopher Daniels Ah, crazy Juvi. This loss will be the beginning of Daniels slipping into a downward spiral, and disappearing, before his return as "The Fallen One" which gives him an opportunity to recruit disciples who have also fallen on hard times. The Ministry meets the J.O.B. Squad. No? Well, Juvi still gets the win. Ricky Marvin vs. Kensuke Sasaki Marvin shows the potential to be the next name to shine, but facing Sasaki ... unless it's a beauty contest, I think the veteran has this one. Mark Calaway vs. Sabu Think Calaway will be a huge wave for Sabu to ride into N2R. Before Rhino runs out, and the two of them duel with bazookas. (Seriously, it's like the only thing they've yet to try ... blowing the other one up. lol) Paul Burchill & Vito Thomaselli vs. Raven's Nest The New Franchise is back! He can't lose his return match. It's simply not allowed. And even if I'm wrong, I'm gonna read it that Burchill won.
  2. Tune in to November to Remeber XV presented by Youtube and Warner Mus ... oh wait, nevermind. Another classic (and darn me for missing out on predicting - I hit the way back machine, and started rereading from page one,) and I remembered why I enjoyed your shows so much. Not only is it great booking, and really well laid out, but you have this knack of picking up what your readers feel, and presenting it via commentary. Fact that Callis apologized for Raven's sneaky title reclaiming is proof of that. And may I add, that is one impressive beard.
  3. First of all ... how cool would it be to be Joel Gertner? lol Secondly, and more importantly, WOW! Some awesome matches. I never saw the double swerve with Stevie and Sasuke, and it fit so well, I wondered how I never saw it. Not that it was predictable, it just made so much sense. The LMS match was the epitome of brutal. I actually heard a small voice in my head yelling "stay down" and cringed after the flurry of chair shots. The ambulance match, the 3 way for the tag titles, the 4 way ... awesome. And Owen's last match was classic. A super strong showing by Jericho, while allowing Owen to walk away with dignity in that he can still go ... only for the whole thing to be foo-fooed by Raven. Genius.
  4. Well, my mom always told me that my ability to do things wrong should be considered an art form. lol And yeah, I got the Dragon, and Vito right. Totally flubbed those. GaC will fix all that. lol
  5. All right, I believe I successfully picked wrong on every match leading into Revolution ... which means I'm due for a huge turnaround. (This might be why I'm not allowed to go to the horse track. ) But I digress. sWo vs. bWo The culmination of the war of the world orders, and the impact of the mole will be too much for the sWo to overcome. And for bonus points, I'm gonna say we are introduced to the Bluezard of Ozz. I'll more than likely be wrong, but I'ma say it anyway. Jazz vs. Alexis© Jazz has been on a roll, but Alexis has the backing of the Flock. And maybe she gained Raven's win streak via osmosis. The Whole F**kin' Show vs. The Dudley Boyzvs. The Hardcore Innovators This is a tough call. One match, albeit impressive, over Axl/Balls does not a reunified team make, and the off chance of STD infecting the match (see what I did there?) does make the chance for the Dudleyz to take the gold seem less likely, but I have a feeling the second generation will help swing things in their favor. Chris Daniels vs. AJ Styles vs. Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Ultimo Dragon© Dark horse pick. Juvi appears, and with Eddie, they begin the lWo, giving the bWo someone new to ... no, wait. Juvi will cost the Dragon the title, but he holds no love loss for AJ either, and Daniels will be caught in the crossfire. I think Rey-Rey wins by default. CM Punk vs. Vito Thomaselli© Vito's another one who is on a roll, and even the wiles of the mysterious blonde won't push Punk over the top to victory. Rhino vs. Mark Calaway The man escaped a hospital with his head held together with gauze and duct tape. Hard to lift anyone with a broken wrist, especially one as rabid as the man beast. Calaway falls victim to the gore! Chris Jericho vs. Owen Hart I'll be honest, this was a coin toss. I can see Jericho gaining the belt, and being ravaged by a riled up Raven. I can see Raven tweaking the match, and working his way in, making it a three way, and regaining the gold. And I can see Owen holding on through a vicious bout, and thus walking away as champ. It came up heads, so Jericho obviously wins. lol
  6. Christopher Daniels vs. AJ Styles I generally agree with Keef's thoughts here. Daniels gets a boost heading in, but ultimately fails at the ppv. War of the World Orders The bWo vs. The sWo I think it's their turn. lol "Presidential Primary" Match "Uncle Sal" Sal Thomaselli vs. Kurt Angle I have a feeling Lynn will make his presence felt in this match, but I don't believe there will be a clear cut winner. Gonna go no contest. Non-Title Match Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Ultimo Dragon Rey will put up a strong showing, but inevitably, the Dragon prevails. Non-Title Match Vito Thomaselli vs. Eddie Guerrero Vito is on a roll, whereas the returning Eddie needs to find his foothold to boost his momentum. And if Vito wins, we can celebrate with wine.
  7. All right, I haven't figured out the logistics of it all, yet, but somehow, I'm gonna win the lottery, and create my own wrestling federation, and hire you, Nevvy, as my guy. This is phenomenal stuff. The fact that I actually cringed when Rhino's skull was split like a watermelon at a Gallagher show, and felt my mouth open in pure awe at the shock return and subsequent ambu-wristing of `Taker ... just brilliant shows. All around.
  8. ECW, ECW, ECW! Warms my soul everytime I read the mass mayhem that is Nevvy's diary.
  9. Jushin Lyger vs. Vito Thomaselli © - International All-Action Title It's Vito! He'll win the match, and next week, Raven will claim ownership of the title, due to a fine print stipulation. The Whole F**kin' Show vs. The Second Generation Of Dudleys I'm combining predictions here. WF'nS wins, but with the added element of friction. Nate Hatred & Chris Hero vs. Bret Hart Hatred gets the win here, although Hart will put up a helluva fight on his way down. BW Snow vs. Big Sasuke Cool Big Sasuke gets a measure of revenge on the snow man, for the antics of the last show. (That, and these matches tend to alternate results.) Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. Ultimo Dragon - Television Championship The storyline here is so complex, that having the title jump to Rey almost makes sense, as the new element just adds more layers to the whole storyline, but with AJ still seething over the loss of his belt, and Juvi still lurking in the shadows, under his hair, this match will dissolve into some menagerie of violence that the Dragon capitalizes on. Mark Calaway & Rhino vs. Raven & Chris Jericho No contest. The mere combustability of Calaway and Rhino together, plus the element of Raven teaming with the man who cost him the belt, all being watched by the world champion, leads me to think this match won't make it to an opening bell before someone starts waylaying his partner with a chair. Or their opponents with their partner. Whichever's easier.
  10. I gotta admit ... I squealed with delight a little. Not enough to totally lose my man card, but enough to put me on the outskirts of the party. lol Chris Jericho vs. CM Punk Jericho rides the wave of good feeling over the up and coming Punk. The bWo vs. The sWo If I recall correctly, there's still an unknown traitor in the sWo's midsts. I think this match adds validity to that claim. Chris Hero vs. Bret Hart Hero puts up a good fight, but Hart is just too much. Expecting Hatred to make a cameo as well. Traci vs. Alexis Laree© I don't see the Flock losing this gold just yet. Rey Mysterio Jr. vs. AJ Styles AJ gets the win, to boost his case for a rematch for the WTV Title. Mark Calaway vs. Raven To quote Astil: "Can't lose twice in a row. He just ... can't "
  11. Okay, it's just you and I here, Nevvy, you can tell me ... are you really Paul E.? The genius of this booking, the flow, the utter captivation of the storylines ... I won't tell, I promise. In all seriousness (unless you really are Heyman, in which case ... yahoo!), another absolutely brilliant show. You should change your name to UPS, because you deliver! (Yes, yes, I broke out the late 1990's lingo, you're that good.) The bWo/sWo feud finds new ways of building steam, and keeps that strong humor to it. Hero is making his mark, and building his way up the card, and Owen Hart, just before he walks away, becomes world champion. It seemed impossible, but someone beat Raven. Until the loophole, sure, but still! I just had to throw praise, and express my appreciation for the thorough amount of entertainment you provide.
  12. Another brilliant show. A mole in the sWo? I have a suspect ... but it makes me a little sad. Could it be ... the BlOz? (Blahs?) No ... nothing? I bring to comedy what ... Tony Blair brings to comedy. "The NME" Nate Hatred vs. Bret "The Hitman" Hart The Franchise Killer, ECW's Most Extreme Athlete, the NME will put away the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be ... with help from your hero, and mine! Ardal O'Hanlon ... no, wait ... War of the World Orders The bWo vs. The sWo I see some opponent miscommunication, like Chessman going for his sidekick, and catching Sasuke instead of Stevie, thus causing the sWo to see him as the mole, especially after the whole Chessman beatdown of last month-ish. Mark Calaway & Vito Thomaselli vs. Rhino & CM Punk The Man Beast is enraged, and CM Punk can use the win to catapult himself back in the drivers seat for the All Action Title. ECW The Lioness' Championship Match Beulah McGillicutty vs. Alexis Laree© Same circumstances as BS&B, Beulah puts up something of a fight, Laree levels her, adding another name to the list as she builds her way back up to Jazz or Kelly Thomaselli. Shawn Michaels vs. Bubba Ray Dudley This one is tough. On one hand, you have the Dudleys and the Second Genners against 2 men, who, to the best of my knowledge, still haven't fully repaired the "Topless Tracy" incident of a few weeks back. By the same token, the Icons will be looking for revenge. I'm gonna assume the 2nd Generation gives Bubba the push he needs for victory. ECW World Heavyweight Championship Match Owen Hart vs. Raven© Jericho and the nest will all make appearances, and Owen will have some backup of his own, whether he realizes it or not. This match gets thrown out, once again saving Raven from inevitably losing the gold. That sneaky lil rogue!
  13. Big Sasuke Cool vs. Ultimo Dragon© Dragon's got the gold, and he's got the girl. Now he picks up a win over the leader of the sWo, taking his first step towards battling with Juvi. Daizy Dudley vs. Alexis Laree© Alexis just gained the title, and Daizy's still embroiled in the turmoil with Beulah and Traci ... Laree retains, but I think the fans win here. Tommy Dreamer vs. D-Von Dudley I think Tommy gets a small bit of revenge for the chaos at Anarchy Rulz, with an assist to STD, but before the final bell, this match will end up in bedlam. War of the World Orders The bWo vs. The sWo By the time this feud is over, these guys will have dressed up as each other so often, no one will actually remember who they are. Al Oz, Big Stevie Sasuke, The Blue Chessman ... Nate Hatred vs. Sabu Sabu is homocidal, suicidal, and genocidal ... Nate Hatred killed off a Franchise! Mark Calaway vs. CM Punk I can see the Soul Taker putting away an up and coming CM Punk, but I have a sneaky feeling the world champ makes a cameo, and there will be at least 1 GORE ... GORE ... GORE!!! The bigger question in all of this is ... will Joey be back? You can't spell ECW without Joey Styles ... and a C and a W!
  14. Wow ... that show did not disappoint. And everytime Gertner does an opening, I'm reminded of how much I miss him. Phenomenal matches, awesome twists, Chris Hero making a statement and banishing The New Franchise, Juvi's subtle return ... brilliant show. Now to figure out who plans on restoring the natural order ... without destroying the last 4 braincells I have to rub together. lol
  15. Yay, it's almost here! (I'm like a kid, in one of those stores, with that food that's delicious, but my mommy won't let me eat ... ) World Television Championship Match AJ Styles© vs. Ultimo Dragon The triumphant return of Psicosis costs AJ the title ... maybe. "War of the World Orders" For The Right To Takeover sWo vs. bWo Big Sasuke Cool vs. Big Stevie Cool A match of pure bedlam, and Sasuke pulls off the victory. sWo, sWo, sWo! Match To Crown the ECW Unified Tag Team Champions Champions vs. Champions The Hardcore Innovators vs. The Whole F**kin' Show The friction between RVD and HBK keeps the Show from carrying the gold out of Anarchy Rulz. Heatwave Re-Match To Be Decided By Submission The Walls Of Jericho vs. The Sharpshooter Chris Jericho vs. Owen Hart Jericho got the victory at Heatwave, so Owen gets the victory here, which leads to a final showdown. Grudge Match for theInternational All Action Championship CM Punk vs. Vito Thomaselli Vito gets rewarded for being screwed out of the world title at Heatwave. Lioness' Den Match to crown the first ever Lioness Champion Jazz vs. Kelly Thomaselli vs. Alexis Laree The cornerstone of ECW's new women's division, and baddest woman on the planet takes the belt. With Paul Burchill's Career On The Line: "The New Franchise" vs. "ECW's Most Extreme Athlete" Paul Burchill vs. Nate Hatred Douglas negates the Minister at ringside, and as good as Hatred may be, he's no Franchise. ECW World Heavyweight Championship Match Five months since their last meeting at Cyberslam... Raven vs. Rhino Raven's hated, but Rhino not only has to contest with the Nest, he also has to keep an eye out for the Soul Taker. Numbers game spells a title retaining Raven.
  16. Heck yeah! Chris Hero = genius! (I also have to admit, I darn near fell over hearing Slyk's nickname. lol) Now to the picks! Eddie Guerrero vs. CM Punk Punk's riding a hot hand into Anarchy Rulz, and I don't think Eddie will be able to stop his streak. Slyk vs. Dick STD gets his debut win, moving one step closer to D'Von and his revenge. Chris Hero vs. Jerry Lynn By the end of the night, Jerry Lynn will be a believer in the Savior of ECW. Qualification Match for "The Lioness' Den" Kelly Thomaselli vs. Daizy Dudley Daizy completes the tag team trifecta by missing out on the Lioness' Den matchup. Rob Van Dam vs. Tommy Dreamer Shawn Michaels makes an appearance, and accidentally screws RVD out of the win. (Fuel that fire!) Rhino vs. Paul Burchill This is tough, but Burchill can't lose his job yet. Taker screws Rhino, gores all around.
  17. Nate Hatred vs. Masato Tanaka With the Sinister Minister by his side, Nate Hatred is unstoppable! Owen Hart & Ultimo Dragon vs. Chris Jericho & AJ Styles Hatred pinned Sabu last time, giving Jericho the win by proxy. This time, Ultimo gets the pin over AJ, pushing Owen even once more. The Whole F**kin' Show vs. The Caucasian Dudleyz I'm not confident in this pick, between the tension over Tracy, and Anonymous Dudley running around, armed with some kind of weapon, this could end up with Daizy winning somehow. Qualification Match for "The Lioness' Den" Alexis Laree vs. Beulah McGillicutty Beulah's hardcore, but Alexis is backed by the Nest. Laree wins. Mark Calaway & Vito Thomasellil vs. Rhino & CM Punk Gonna give the nod to the number 1 contender, but this match could go either way. Paul Burchill vs. Brandon Thomasellil And the new Franchise takes down one more Thomaselli.
  18. Chris Hero just stood in an ECW ring and sang Bonnie Tyler lyrics ... that man deserves a belt. That ... was ... awesome! And that's cool about Hatred. Just goes to show what a boost a good manager can have on someone's career. Hatred vs. Burchill ... gold.
  19. I know you said it's actually Anarchy Rulz that's coming up, but for some reason, I'm still excited about Guilty as Charged. lol Rob Van Dam vs. D-Von Dudley D-Von puts up a fight, and once again, this turns into a three team mix up, but one half of the whole f'n show splashes out the win. Vito & Kelly vs. Punk & Alexis I think Keef said it best (although if he's unable to fulfill his obligations with Alexis, I am free this weekend) and think with Punk and Alexis winning, it just adds that much more fuel to the fire between these two. Chris Jericho & Nate Hatred vs. Owen Hart & Sabu This is a hard one. I'm thinking Owen and Sabu, with Jericho taking the fall, as to not detract from Hatred's unstoppable run, but this is really a toss up to me. Traci vs. Jazz Traci makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, but Jazz scares me, and if she saw me pick against her, she'd hurt me, and not in a good way. Jazz wins! Sal Thomaselli vs. Paul Burchill I think Sal shall fall to the C4, as Burchill takes his frustration of Vito trying to doink his "girlfriend" out on the innocent Thomaselli. (What? Bam Bam told us for a reason. )
  20. Rhino vs. Brandon Thomaselli Rhino continues leaving a path of bodies on his way to the title match. The sWo vs. The bWo Chessman may have been forgiven for "his" antics last time, but Big Stevie will kick the bWo to victory. Ultimo Dragon vs. Chris Hero The inventor of the Asai moonsalt comes out on top, over the disrespected Savior, but not without an appearance from AJ Styles. Alexis Laree vs. Jazz Calling this a no contest, to push for Guilty as Charged. Big Sasuke Cool vs. CM Punk© Sasuke gets his wish, albeit a tad too late, as the Nest shows up. Paul Burchill vs. Vito Thomaselli The New Franchise keeps his job in a classic encounter.
  21. Another classic, and I'm getting really amped up for Guilty as Charged. Rhino vs. Sabu The Man Beast keeps his roll going, taking out Sabu. The sWo vs. The bWo Thanks to the help of the Blue Ozzie? What, it could happen. Chris Jericho vs. Vito Thomaselli I think CM Punk makes his appearance before Owen Hart does, costing Vito the win. Traci & Kelly vs. Daizy & Alexis Think Alexis' momentum keeps her team afloat. The Whole F**kin' Show vs. The Dudley Boyz Total mayhem. Awesome. Chris Hero vs. Paul Burchill I gotta agree with everyone, Hero is getting better and better each week. The Savior's time will come, but not yet.
  22. ECW, ECW, ECW! (Sorry, flashbacks. ) Owen Hart vs. Nate Hatred I see Jericho living up to his mind games promise. Lance Storm vs. CM Punk © The force is strong with this one. Punk weathers the Storm. (Yes, it was that bad.) Cactus Jack vs. Bubba Ray Dudley Before the match is over, no less than 5 people make appearances. Kelly Thomaselli vs. Alexis Laree Can I put my money on Kelly "losing" her top at some point? Dirty Kelly! Jerry Lynn vs. AJ Styles © Lynn's too focused on Angle, he lets the opportunity slip through his fingers. Paul Burchill vs. Big Sasuke Cool The man's a franchise!
  23. I'm still working my way through the backstory, which has been phenomenal. But I've read what led up to this, and this last event, and all I can say is ... wow. Juvi vs. AJ Styles for match of the millenium! I'd actually start a chant, but as I'm here alone, and live in an apartment, I think it'd be an awkward conversation with the cops at 4am.
  24. I saw the question in another post about the Bunfholes, and renaming Zimmy. So I got curious, and googled it (which means Viacom now knows my name), and found out it's short for Zimmerman, which is Bob Dylan's real last name. Coincidence? Probably, but I thought I'd share.
