  1. smartman is correct. Also, I like to have 'Fix Belts' set on whenever possible. 1 belt from the start is better than 1-3 random belts from the start or no belt at all (which is what happened earlier in sims with Fix Belts checked).

And makes a lot of sense.<p> </p><p> </p><p> I have another random question, if anyone can help, though.</p><p> </p><p> Can match ratings be capped due to your promotions size or product (or some other factor)?</p><p> </p><p> The reason why I ask...</p><p> </p><p> As I said in a previous post, I have a very talented main event now in ECW in a performance over popularity product. Most main eventers can crack out A rated matches fairly regularly at my PPVs. However, I've been striving for and failing to achieve an A* main event.</p><p> </p><p> After pouring all of my efforts into a 90 minute epic between Owen Hart and Chris Jericho for the title, it again came back as an A rating.</p><p> </p><p> Slightly disappointed, I decided to change my user preferences to show exact number ratings rather than grades. I then went to my show history and checked the number rating for the Owen/Jericho match... it was 98 and shown as an A* after changing my preferences.</p><p> </p><p> So, am I limited to only getting an A rating (despite a 98 number rating) because I am only at cult, for example?</p><p> </p><p> If so, I might save some of my best potential main events a few months for when I hit national. But, right now, I am stumped <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />.</p><p> </p><p> Quote The Raven</p><p> Nevermore</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> No, you're not capped from achieving an A*. Due to the way the match rating calculations are made it's not very often one gets a true A* of 100. It's hard to say what the problem is in this case - or if there even is one - without knowing the exact product, pop & skills of the workers involved and road agent notes. Most likely you've just been 'unlucky' thus far and should keep on keeping on with what you're doing.</p>

I've tried to balance the stats worldwide, every promotion and to the game's mechanics. There are plenty of good and great workers in the mod in every playable game area (US, Japan, Mexico). I started creating this mod for my own amusement since I wanted to be fair and balanced throughout, with the goal of avoiding the overrating of prospects while realistically judging everyone to fit the game. Then again, if you think Low Ki was one of the best wrestlers in the world in 2006, we must rate good wrestling vastly differently.</p><p> </p><p> For the next release I'm adding Pro Wrestling ZERO1-MAX. I still have some people to add in their roster, but once I'm done watching and updating them, it's time for the 0.07 release. That update will bring Japan to a similar shape Mexico is in now.</p>

Haven't booked a show yet but I think a lot of the stats are balanced. On the topic of Orton, say what you will about his ring work, but I think he definitely deserves a bump in his entertainment skills. Then again, it's all up to interpretation. Thanks for putting the mod out nonetheless!</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Fair enough, I've updated his entertainment skills a bit for the upcoming 0.07 version. A couple points in acting, one in charisma and 5 points in mic skills.</p><p> </p><p> I've been working on the puro scene since my last post, adding workers, but also editing pops and skills here and there.</p>

I'm not worried about worker availability (I'm four sizes larger), just curious about how it works now.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It's only when the contracts come up for renewal that the shared workers pick a side.</p>

Meanwhile, feel free to report errors or discuss stats. </p><p> </p><p> Randy Orton still has time to grow his performance row, IMO he only started showing improvement in that when he found his groove as 'The Viper'. As for Tanahashi, I knew he was one whose stats would get a thorough once over from puro fans. When I originally added him to the data, his stats were the slightest bit lower, but I think Tanahashi is fairly rated at the moment.</p>
  20. Thanks. I've fixed Bischoff's and Shane's ages for now. Matt Hardy apparently had Jeff Hardy's stats, so that's been fixed. If anyone finds more errors, please do report them. I'm definitely going to work on this in the future. My next priorities would be of course error fixing and adding the remaining missing active wrestler pictures. Then hopefully add some more unemployed wrestlers all-around the three playable game areas (US, Mexico, Japan).
  21. MOD INFO: 2006 — Times Of Infamy is a real world mod I've created from scratch for TEW2016. It is set in January 2006, in a time where WWE is yet to go PG, CMLL is the proverbial house on fire and NOAH is in the last days of it's golden days. TNA has been on national television for some months now following their deal with Spike TV. Shimmer has held their first two shows at the end of 2005, in the hopes of providing quality women's wrestling. ROH is championed by none other than Bryan Danielson. In WWE, John Cena and Batista are on their first world reigns, respectively. NOAH has been trying to push Rikio Takeshi to replace Kobashi Kenta and Misawa Mitsuharu, though their brightest young talent reside in the junior division with KENTA and Marufuji Naomichi. NJPW have Nakamura Shinsuke and Tanahashi Hiroshi to guide them to a new era. ...As WWE, are you able to succesfully hold on to two self-sufficient brands? ...As TNA, are you able to become the powerhouse the national television deal enables you to be? ...As ROH, are you able to grow beyond a 'super indy'? ...As AAA, who can step up to dethrone the hype train of CMLL's Místico? ...As CMLL, can you hold on to the top spot? ...As AJPW, can you make the masses invest in Japanese sports entertainment? ...As NOAH, can you push young hungry wrestlers to replace the deteriorating old guard? ...As NJPW, can you turn around years of Inoki booking to become a giant of puroresu? CURRENT VERSION: 0.09 DATA LINK: http://www.mediafire.com/file/6ovv9y563l30gw0/dataV0_09.rar PICTURE LINK: http://www.mediafire.com/file/7t72k7jc8be3050/picsV0_09.rar VERSION INFO: The 0.09 version of the mod is live now. Added Full Impact Pro (USA). Fixed all reported errors. More wrestlers, more workers as usual. [VERSION: 2006 — Times Of Infamy 0.09] Active companies: 22 (+1 from v0.08) Workers: 1120 (+91 from v0.08) Debuted active wrestlers: 825 (+68 from v0.08) Semi-active wrestlers: 26 (+2 from v0.08) Yet to debut wrestlers: 95 (+8 from v0.08)

Does it mean that the worker can become extremely good, if treated right? Fx pushed and so on?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It means a young worker (I think the maximum age is 31) with less than a certain amount of respect (IIRC, over 41 / D-) can't get a fall on any non-young lion. If a young lion gets a fall on a veteran, the audience is going to be unhappy, as they do not believe the youngster deserved the victory. This doesn't mean that young lions can't get victories, they can still be in the winning team in multi-person matches and can still get falls over other young lions.</p>
