So yeah, obviously chemistry is not bound to the creation of the tag team, unlike tag team experience.

 3. I've spent a fair bit of time modding, but yesterday fired up my first game with it, a joshi promotion at that. Our first tour started in February 1996 and just before Akira Hokuto announces she's pregnant. Apparently she's been pushing a lot of iron in the first four months of her pregnancy. http://i.cubeupload.com/64dtnb.png

I didnt notice it suggested a venue in Puerto Rico and the show's ratings TANKED. I want to be sure we never run in PR again! Is there a way to get that region off the list of Territories suggested?

Nope.

Ironically this could never happen in previous TEWs as you had to hand pick the venue every time. I recommend double checking which venue the AI automatically booked for you. There's nothing worse than getting half of the gate just because the AI booked a venue for you.

 6. Not really. Stamina is applied to each match separately, taking account stamina, road agent notes and match length. The amount of fatigue a worker suffers has nothing to do with the actual stamina stat, but toughness, match style, length and road agent notes. So while fatigue gets worse as the worker has more matches, in every match stamina is still the same (doesn't get worse).
 7.

Just keep the first matches short. The only penalty I can think of is for stamina. Keep track of your workers' stamina. If you want workers with lower stamina to go through the next rounds, keep their matches short. If you have workers with higher stamina, put the first matches short.

Actually stamina is calculated separately for each match. The problem is fatigue. Someone with three matches a day is most likely going to be fatigued in the third match, which will bring the match rating down.

 8. There is only a cooling off period for rising from Cult to National. So if you drop from National to Cult, you have to wait 6 months before you can get back to National.

It's a mess. Like Tanahashi is the figurehead but he hasn't been the figurehead in real life since he lost to Okada at the Wrestle Kingdom 11 and Okada's comically unpopular for some reason that I don't comprehend. It's weird.

It's like a bootleg NJPW where the names are right but the characters don't match up. Heck, Omega like a B or something in Puro despite having like four MOTYC in the last eight months. It's just odd.

I mean the company has E momentum! That's not even close to being right. At their lowest, They're at maybe a B+.

My main problem with the company though is that it doesn't match up to the company historically. Okada should be higher then Tanahashi, He should be around Hashimoto's level but he's not. He's actually lower then Tanahashi and somehow lower than like every IWGP Heavyweight Champion ever except for like Salman Hashimikov and that makes no sense within the actual historical narrative of NJPW.

No serious NJPW fan is like "Pfft, Okada? Nah, Yuji Nagata's where it's really at." That's just not a thought any NJPW fan has ever had and I've watched a lot of NJPW. I've watched everyone from Fujinami and Kimura to Canek and Fishman.

I mean I respect NJPW's past. I love watching 80s NJPW probably more then anyone else in the world but it's not that great honestly. It's fine for what is and the era it took place in but it shouldn't be overshadowing the current generation at all.

I don't know. It's like playing a baseball game and watching the 2016 Chicago Cubs lose to the 1927 New York Yankees. It's just not how things work.

Then how about you actually write some constructive criticism? This post is not helpful at all, you're just being very disrespectful. Fleisch has done so much work on this over the years, he deserves at least to get a thank you and some respect. If you're unwilling to help, you can just edit NJPW yourself and not talk about it.

By the way, do you even realize that no active wrestler in the CornellVerse has over 84 (lowest B+) in puroresu? That would mean that Omega would literally be one of the best at puro in the world today.

 10. Excursions can happen during a game as well as being pre-set before the save game is started. However, you can't send anyone on an excursion (like how companies often do in real life), a wrestler just decides to go on one.

 13. It's not just you. The injury frequency was increased from TEW2013 because it was unrealistically low. I tried playing with the medium injury frequency in TEW2016 (as it was the default value), but I still didn't get enough injuries. I prefer "high" frequency, "extreme" was a bit much

TEW utilizes 'soft caps', which means that a stat (for example, popularity) can rise above the cap, but over time will slowly decrease back to the cap.

It is also possible that you had the worker in an angle where he suffered a 'defeat', or you had the worker in a match where the worker came off like a loser, even though the worker didn't actually lose.

 23.
I've been working for a while on a real world fantasy scenario that is set in January 1996. The story of the scenario is heavily based on Adam Ryland's original "NWA Domination" data from EWR, where WWF fails with WrestleMania and goes bankrupt and NWA manages to get global control of the wrestling business. The data is based off BurningHamster's (with his blessing) TEW2010 mod "The War Begins" that is also set in January 1996.

Of course since the original scenario is set in the 2000s, there are multiple differences between that and my version (tentatively titled "snoDom"). I haven't even attempted to copy NWA Domination, I've merely tried to create a new database using the story (and Hamster's data) as a base and making adjustments where necessary, but also just changing things for the fun of it. This includes creating new promotions, adjusting promotion sizes from the original scenario to what they could conceivably achieve in this scenario and changing some of the fortunes of wrestlers for a few surprises along the way.

I've done several sims already and there are a few notable problems: the large Japanese promotions disbanding one of the smaller Japanese promotions and every once in a while a promotion manages to go bankrupt even though the NWA is set as a consortium. There are also several loans happening that leads to employment histories like these:

http://i.cubeupload.com/tkqdIT.png

I'm not a fan of a mess of an employment history like that, but I also don't want to turn loans off in NWA, since that would leave alliance titles without much of a purpose.

I should also note that I've deleted dozens of workers from the original Hamster data (including all yet-to-debut workers) and re-worked much of the stats and pops of wrestlers. I've also foolishly decided to go ahead with creating an unique picture pack from scratch featuring, for example, worker pics like that of Bret Hart above.

I'm also using my own injury and gimmick file, the latter of which has resulted in hundreds of workers still lacking default gimmicks. Most of the workers of major (Cult or above) promotions already have a full injury history with realistic wear-and-tear to fully take advantage of the games' features.

At the moment just under 60% of the active wrestlers still lack a proper picture, most don't have a default gimmick and nearly everyone has an improper bio (by that I mean it was written by BurningHamster and contains references to the "real world"). Belt histories, both Hall of Fames and Hall of Immortals as well as yearly awards are also empty.

You would have to edit every single thing yourself from your save game to a new database.
