  1. haha! Yes, exactly. When current mainstream wrestling finally gets even slightly edgier(even with Hassan back in the day), these asses like Glenn Beck have to jump in and act like it's real, after decades of being told 'you know wrestling isn't real, it's all fake blah blah!' and always reminding wrestling fans of this to this day. Duh, everyone knows it's all an act by now. It does a reversal against the 'non wrestling people' and makes them feel like the douchetard.
  2. Damn it, Swagger! Not sure what kind of trouble he would get into and how it will affect him professionally, but this is just the excuse they need to say 'see, he's worthless. Back to jobber.' Maybe..Maybe they'll let him get to Wrestlemania, lose, then go on being suspended, they did it to R-Truth at that Survivor Series but that was to avoid messing up the main event with Rock and Cena.
  3. yah, not like that crappy goofy looking spinner that was really for Cena only, but it was cool when Edge customized it for his Rated-R reign. I'm surprised for as long as Punk held it, he didn't think of throwing away that crappy title and getting one to look like Rock's new title, then again he probably wouldn't get the fans behind him to keep it around. They went crazy when Rock announced the new title haha!
  4. Wow, a Swagger match lasting longer than 5 minutes?! A great opponent to have in Daniel Bryan too. I've always liked Swagger myself, so gotta say I'm happy he's been given a second chance. Just hope they don't have another WHC throwaway match like the last few years and actually put effort into caring about the title.
  5. I'm going to predict that the Shield is going to lose, I don't think they would give Cena a loss and dent his momentum going into WM, and maybe leave Ryback and Sheamus continuing a feud with the Shield for a possible tag team match or 3 on 2 handicap match at WM. They had something good with the Shield when they first came in, but these past few weeks they've been made to look weak so soon after their debut. Hope they can keep the feud with Miz and Cesaro til WM, the feud has been interesting and I would hate to see it become a victim of just another month-long feud. I like how the chamber looks to be anyone's game, but would suck if it's Orton winning, may be the perfect setup for a heel turn, but we've seen the Orton/Del Rio matches enough already. Maybe a Daniel Bryan win would be awesome, but since it seems like they don't really take the World Heavyweight Championship matches very seriously anymore at WM, it could be Henry in there looking to induct Del Rio in the Hall of Pain, so if they're looking for a match where nobody sells anything, there ya go haha! Interesting little turn there for Tensai. It's upsetting that they can never seem to get a legit Japanese person, or someone coming back from Japan like Tensai, a proper push. Yoshi Tatsu is a Saturday Morning Slam jobber, hell even Yokozuna was Samoan. I really thought they were gonna have something going with Kenzo, say what ya want and hate him, but I liked him til he became just another goofball. He had a great entrance with the Sedan and looked like a force to reckon with upon his debut, but then he becomes 'I love America, hot dogs are awesome and baseball is fun! hahaha just kidding, stupid American!' in my TEW game, he's useful
  6. ^ hahaha! It's the Onion for wrestling news! I love the comments about 'I don't know whether or not a match was good or not until he tells me' haha
  7. I like how Dallas showed an edge you don't really see in a lot of those little-guy rookies. After he eliminated Wade and Wade was grabbing at him, he looked like he snapped and showed some intensity that showed he just wasn't going to take anyone's crap and not be relegated to just jobbing out to other wrestlers without getting any offense.
  8. With a 20 years of RAW show they were definitely lacking on cameo appearances. Just felt like any other three hour show.
  9. Ugh I guess I wasn't expecting Maddox to win all that much, but WWE always does this to wrestlers. Take Josh for example, actually wrestled in independent promotions before going to WWE and became an announcer, then when he is put in a match they make it seem like he has no clue what to do and can't get anything at all on offense. Maddox, another indie and FCW wrestler, begins as a referee and then gets used as a referee would be expected to be used if he were in a match with a wrestler. If this is WWE's attempt to "stay within the relm of realism" it doesn't quite work now that everyone and their mother knows it's all written. I would have liked to have seen something a bit more sneakier for him. Maybe he'll maje an appearance to screw with Ryback at Survivor Series. The Vicky/AJ/Dolph/Cena storyline keeps making me think of the Styles storyline he was (or is, haven't seen TNA in a while) what's next AJ will say she's pregnant with Cena's child(or Dolph's haha)
  10. ITA. At least Rock was a wrestler before he was a movie star. But I wonder if Punk will keep the title til the Rumble which would give him an over-year long reign, longer than Cena's boring year long reign a few years ago.
  11. ^ CM Punk coming out to "explain his actions" which I'm pretty sure you already know why, but basically saying the main event should be centered on him as the champion and not Rock, Cena, AJ or Big Show. It's so hard to take Damien Sandow as a tough guy seriously when he does cartwheels in the middle of the ring. I do enjoy his character and was grateful that he stopped Vickie Guerrero dancing, but the cartwheeling....uhm...
  12. I would like to see Sheamus up against Cody Rhodes at a PPV, that was a great match and wouldn't mind seeing a LEGIT match between he and Dolph Ziggler, not just another predictable heel-runs-in-and-cashes-in-MITB-while-champ-is-out, which I hope doesn't happen, but I think Sheamus has the smarts not to fall for that, but I am sketchy at this ADR feud going on and can only imagine that Dolph and Jericho will have an awesome match at Summerslam, Sheamus and ADR will have their match, ADR weakens Sheamus and Dolph cashes it in after their match and the same crap happens all over again. Great Smackdown though, definitely their best in a long time I only intended to read the results because I missed it Friday and when I got to the 'Jericho runs in dressed as Ziggler' part I was like 'ok, I actually have to see this'
  13. Even though it's fake it looks awesome. Punk looks like Ra's Al Ghul haha!
  14. Does this mean that Cena is the first to cash in his MITB briefcase and not walk out as the champion or does he still have it? And the CM Punk turn makes sense and I had a feeling that if he was going to turn, the reasoning would probably be because even though he was made the champ and was supposed to usher in a new era of WWE, he was still pushed down the card and had to cater to Cena being always in the main event spotlight.
  15. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v238/lizardman83/b1d8e1e8-c1ef-4f25-b93b-ddc3ba7f72b6.jpg hahaha! Now I want Jericho to scream curse words at everyone in a British accent. "For God Sakes, Cena, come up with a more diverse moveset, f-ing hail!"
  16. the MITB winners of last year challenging the respective championships this year! That's kind of interesting to me at least haha
  17. Would have been less confusing if it had been like a wrestler within the company, like wanting to keep it a secret because it would hurt their career. Or someone Dixie, AJ or Daniels knew personally like AJ's wife, or a storyline sister of Dixie or something. But just some random woman to throw in there who didn't really reveal who she was to AJ or Dixie.
  18. ^ Technically they did try to give him something different with Shelton's gimmick, but it didn't last long at all, it was Shelton and "his mama" but instead of Brodus just talking about her, Shelton would bring her to ringside. I never thought I'd say it, but now that I've finally been getting used to Miz, now they don't even use him. I think a stable with him in it might be pretty cool, they haven't really used a stable in a long time. I was thinkin something with Swagger and Ziggler, but I dunno, I think their tag-team friendship might be ending.. I wonder if Foley's return will bring about the debut of Dean Ambrose on WWE TV? They seemed to have something going with him at Axxess with Ambrose saying weird things to Foley about 'I know what you did' or something like that. Wasn't sure if they dropped the ball on that or if they're going to keep it up...
  19. How many times in a year do they need to turn Kane? I was kinda hopin we'd see another Punk/Bryan match unless they want to save it for a flagship PPV like Summerslam is next... If Ryback thinks he's in Mortal Kombat he should at least say TOASTY every now and again.
  20. True, but I guess I must consider bad luck of the challenger clean for the champ, i.e. Storm kicking Roode out just bad luck for Storm, but Roode not intending to cheat as well as his wins over Styles.
  21. I get a feeling that Cena may win due to Big Show interfering, he comes walking up saying he bought a ticket for the show, then gets involved in the match against Lauranitis. You can't fire a guy twice!
  22. Great ending, but it's difficult to take Bobby Roode seriously as a top heel and world champ when every time someone makes a return(Abyss' return and promo) or gets in a number 1 contender match he has that over expressed look of fear like he's going to wet himself; and it makes me think 'this guy is the world champion?' If he was a weasel-type of wuss whose just getting lucky holding on to the belt, then maybe it would work, but he's managed to defend the title cleanly in almost all of his big defenses. He should learn to hold back a little bit, not show too much fear. But other than that, I did like the ending, but those 'past match highlights' make me sad that TNA doesn't feel like those good old days anymore when the commentators actually got excited for big wins as well as the fans.
  23. ^ hahaha, if I see him I'll try. It's usually always the same crowd so there are a few that go all the time that are annoying as crap. Usually the people up front are huge jerks who think they are just awesome because they are standing up behind the audience barricade, when it actuality anyone can really stand there. We got to sit 2 rows behind *cough* Abyss *cough* so that was awesome. He was actually there almost the whole time, or at least til after the Aries/Bully Ray match.
