  1. Can I get a more serious heel looking Squeeky McClean? All the renders of him that I see have him smiling. Perhaps no shirt and some sort of angry expression?
  2. My biggest gripe with TNA right now is they keep doing the "OMG the champ retained, what a shocker!" at the Pay-Per-View and then having him drop the belt right after. Seems like it's more booking for shock than booking for good booking.
  3. I like Mojo's gimmick. His move set is rather eh, it feels like they're trying to display athleticism with it but it doesn't come off that way, and he takes a beating for a lot of his matches. His look isn't spectacular either, but they like the former athletes.
  4. I was hoping with Kidd's return that they'd reform International Airstrike but it doesn't seem like that's going to be the case.

Unless something awesome makes me interested in him, he's probably gonna just be a jobber for a while.</p>
  7. <p>Could someone do something to make Austin Smooth more interesting? I haven't seen any alts of him. I'm not picky regarding what version of him, whether the default or either of these two re-renders:</p><p> <span>http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/Bull/AustinSmooth.jpg</span><span>http://i757.photobucket.com/albums/xx212/Cverse_Rerender/shipshirt/AustinSmooth.jpg</span></p>
  8. I really like Eric Young, but I hate his beard. Unlike Daniel Bryan, I don't think it works for him as a serious wrestler. I give TNA credit for how they've been booking him lately, as a little kooky but still a capable wrestler, and slapping the "Mad Scientist" moniker on him, but if there was ever a time for him to go for the title, it was World Elite, which wrapped up too soon. All I can hope for is that we see some sort of storyline for Magnus out of this that leads to him having a good, clean title run since he lost the belt in his first non-interference defense and that made him look even more like a paper champion.
  9. Usually it comes off less like Paige is sweeping the leg out and more like a move based on a Fireman's Carry. It seemed like AJ's selling was a split second behind on Raw.
  10. Reminds me of Cena's US Title run when he totally buried Kenzo Suzuki. Admittedly I was quite the mark at the time (probably still am a fair amount), but Cena took a guy with a decent look who I loved watching in the ring and made him a joke the whole time they feuded. But then, I think that's because they were just trying to get Cena over quickly, since he won the WWE Title at the next Wrestlemania.

However I usually know enough to get me by. I looked at the card this Sunday and have a few questions.<p> </p><p> Where is Bully Ray? Isn't this guy supposed to be killing it right now and one of if not the top guy in the company? Angle's out with a legit injury and they already kayfabed the beatdown what two or three weeks ago? Why is he even still being promoted as being on the card? I thought Bad Influence where heels is Chris Sabin a heel as well? Is there any storyline reason they are teaming together? Sam Shaw sounds like a fairly new guy I don't recall him being on the show a few months ago. Isn't he "stalking" Hemme? Is Anderson fighting for her or does he have a seperate issue with him? Aren't the Bromanns a comedy tag team for all intents and purposes? Certainly not a serious enough tag team (although didn't they just win the titles) to be in a slot like this. The last I knew of anything TNA was Abyss "walking out" or whatever. What is Eric Young doing now if anything? I probably have a million more questions but I figure thats more TNA than any one person should have to answer.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Ken Anderson beat Bully Ray a few weeks ago in a casket match and Bully hasn't been mentioned much since, but yes, he was killing it.</p><p> </p><p> While I haven't watched last night's episode, last I heard, Angle's facing Ethan Carter III (formerly Derrick Bateman in WWE) at Lockdown.</p><p> </p><p> Sam Shaw is a former Gut Check winner who has been doing a good American Psycho style gimmick where he's obsessed with Christy Hemme. He attacked Anderson in the back when the two were talking.</p><p> </p><p> The BroMans aren't really a comedy thing, but they're very slimy/smarmy and just all around not fun to watch, especially with DJ Zema.</p><p> </p><p> Chris Sabin has been heel since about when he lost the World Title, and so is Bad Influence.</p><p> </p><p> Eric Young was working with "Joseph Park" aka unmasked amnesiac Abyss to find Abyss but proved that Park is Abyss and Abyss didn't like it and now the two are feuding? That's the closest I understood that storyline.</p>
  12. This promo felt very Chris Jericho to me; maybe it's just Dolph's hair. But that was an awesome promo, to be sure.
  13. Anyone else a little disapponted that the Release Powerbomb on Del Rio was called a Batista Bomb? I much prefer the Sit-Out Powerbomb and hope that he uses that rather than the ugly release version on Raw.

  15. With AJ not being the regular good guy, it's falling to Storm, who was AJ's tag partner before AJ started being awesome again. As long as he doesn't fall into AJ's pigeonhole (the face who can't shake a particular heel (Daniels/Bad Influence) but should be a big deal), he could still recover and make a big impact.
  16. It seems like everyone and everything is trying to make it out that Magnus is World Championship material without actually putting him in the title picture. Not that people on here can do that, obv, but every time he's in the ring, I hear it at least once, that he's going to be a World Champion some day. So let's see him get pushed like it, maybe? If TNA in 2013 is the house that AJ Styles built, then let's make TNA in 2020 the house that Magnus added on to, lifted up, etc. Right now is the perfect time since some of their most over guys are wrapped up in the tag team division (Roode, Aries, Storm, maybe Chavo) and Jeff Hardy is who knows where again. So instead of Sting getting the World Title shot against Bully Ray at Slammiversary, give it to Magnus and give him his shot. Let Sting and Bully wrap up their feud in a non-title match. Or ideally, on a smaller PPV, which they don't have anymore, but that's not terrible. Also, I wish they'd make up their mind about what they're calling stuff on the air. I heard a ridiculous mix of Impact Wrestling and TNA for what the company was called, and that's really irritating. That, and seemingly not having enough time/personnel to address all of the titles that they use (Knockout Tag Titles, primarily, but also the TV Title somewhat) are my only real complaints with TNA right now though.
  17. If I had $15 to spare, I'd probably throw it at One Night Only, though I'm super disappointed to see no more Destination X. The X Division has always been what drew me to TNA, though I'm not behind the triple threat idea yet. The idea that the guy who doesn't take the fall is in the next title match leads to some nice booking situations, but other than that, I think they're just 'being different to be different' which I don't like. Plus the weight limit is a bummer but understandable. I miss the days of 'It's not about weight limits, it's about no limits'. I love what they're doing with AJ Styles. He's been one of my favorites since I started watching TNA and I think this character shift (is it just me or does it feel like a Loner gimmick?) could be what it takes to get him back to the World Title. Getting everyone (Hogan, A&8s, Bad Influence) involved in his feud with Storm is a nice move too, as it makes his return seem like a big thing. I really wish he had been the face of the company rather than some of the big league rejects that have come in *coughJeffHardycough*. Also, Petey Williams is fantastic. Having him back is a blessing for TNA, as he's always been a crisp worker and he's not bad on the mic either. Plus, everyone likes seeing a Canadian Destroyer once in a while. Of all the guys who have left TNA, he was the singles guy I was most hoping to see back (Tag guys being The Naturals, but that's way too wishful thinking).
  18. <p>While I only saw the highlights on Youtube for tonight's episode and got a read of the results online, it seemed pretty solid. Garrett Bischoff is going to have a hard time being forgettable, but Wes Brisco gave pretty solid justification for joining A&8s.</p><p> </p><p> The tag title match was great story-wise and I liked what they did with the finish. The Aries/Roode going for all of the titles storyline could really be big by the end of the year.</p><p> </p><p> The biggest thing I'm not liking right now (aside from keeping the belt on Jeff Hardy while he can't travel overseas) is Rob Van Dam as X Division champ. Really all he seems to bring to a match is the "already being over" factor. And at this stage of his career, he isn't going to get a lot more character development. Right now he's just going over the lower card guys while they basically feud with each other. Zema Ion's reign with the belt was way better and did something for the belt, the champion and the division. Then they dropped the belt off of him for what, to give RVD a PPV check and take Zema off the mic? TNA, C'mon man!</p>

  20. Over here, they call me a "young lion." A "gaijin." They really make you pay your dues out here, and I'm okay with that. What I'm not okay with is this Modern Japan Movement. I came out here for the tradition. I came out here to earn my respect. To earn my right to be a star when I'm older, like my father before me. And I'm not going to stay put while they throw that away. http://i1179.photobucket.com/albums/x385/darrbot/GregGauge.jpghttp://i1179.photobucket.com/albums/x385/darrbot/BCG.jpg I'm Greg Gauge. 21. Kam, not a request, just wondering what font you used for the Breakdown Wrestling logo/banner you did for me so I can attempt to whip myself up a tv show logo?
  22. That's about what I had in mind. Just something grungey and rough looking, which that covers. Thanks.
  23. Sweet deal. I've been working on my logo making, the toughest part is adding images and getting it to look how I want it to in my head, so this is helpful, or should be.
  24. Promotion: Breakdown Wrestling (BDW) Style: Backyard Daredevil, grungey Colors: Lime green and dark green
