  1. i am not up to date on WWE at all just what mates tell me and occasional looks on youtube, but any chance of Punk being a special guest referee, for Cena vs Rock, and i will admit i bought Wrestlemania last year for Rock vs Cena but i am easily influenced i bought WM 25 (i think) for Miz and Morrison vs Carlito and Primo, but nobody told me at the time about it being on their website but i got to see Rey Misterio in a Joker themed attire(i think), in a match that lasted half a minute
  2. i really liked Cross when i first read it, but the violence and gore bit, i thought it would be worse, haven't checked out any after Garth Ennis, but my mate said Simon Spurrier is the writer and hes a top bloke as well as a good writer Garth i think lost the plot doing preacher, all he seems to do now is make loads of gay jokes and make fun of religion, Preacher felt like something special but was beyond a joke in its final run
  3. i haven't watched any RAW lately, but i been thinking with the Money in the Bank case on the line between Dolph Ziggler and Cena, do you reckon Ziggler will cash in on Sheamus or Big Show turningv thier match into a championship match with Cena winning probs won't happen but me and my mates were talking about a way to unite the titles or maybe have Rock beat Cena at Royal Rumble for the belt again i am most likely completely wrong as i only check out the PPV's and my mate fills me in on the shows

Perhaps it's just the way I read things, but a lot of folks online come off to me as bluntly stating opinions as absolute, undeniable fact ('John Cena is terrible' for a loose example) which frankly, grinds my gears. I like the extra words that present the statement as personal opinion. I find it an act of courtesy. A pleasantry.<p> </p><p> Hate IMHO with a fiery passion though. Something about the word 'humble' irks me.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> i am not up together with internet slang or what ever its called, my girlfriend filled me in with things such as LOL and LMFAO, i guessed IMO was in my opinion but IMHO i always thought was Honest not Humble, learn something new everyday </p><p> </p><p> Watched Alien vs Predator again last week, and what grinds my gears is why can't the filmmakers writers etc get it right, it should of had the marines like in the games, and Alien 3, what they did to Newts and Hicks characters totally voids the second film</p><p> </p><p> also grinding my gears is when a character from the first film is pointlessly killed in the second, Mortal Kombat is my main one on this, even though i can barely accept MK 2 as a sequel, killing off Johnny Cage just seems like a waste from the film first, same thing in the Ring films</p>
  5. i reckon Big Show will go Heel and rehired by or a ploy by Laurinaitis, seems to happen to Big Show every so often
  6. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="brashleyholland" data-cite="brashleyholland" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="27610" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I think you get a bit of 'back in my day' syndrome with everything. I'm always moaning about how amazing cartoons were when I was a kid (GI Joe, Transformers, Jase and the Wheeled Warriors, Centurions, Samurai Pizza Cats, Ninja Turtles etc) vs today (erm...Ben 10? That's a thing, right?). <p> </p><p> Same goes for sweets, videogames, music, toys...it was all better 'back in the day' <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> but in all fairness its true about the cartoons and toys, todays G.I Joes are nothing compared to when i was a kid, same with the Transformer toys</p><p> </p><p> what grinds me at the moment is people who smoke and then spit, i am an ex smoker the Girlfriend is a smoker but neither of us spit after each toke</p><p> </p><p> actually spitting in general for me the deep hakkkkkkkkkk tuh ones</p>
  7. the mask comics are amazing, Lobo vs Mask was the greatest idea ever
  8. i liked Rising Starts quite a bit, can't remember his name certain its the guy who also wrote Midnight Nation, and i think the company was Top Cow, they did a mini series called The Agency which i never read the last episode of, in fact i might actually try tracking the issues down
  9. i'm a bit meh with Alan Moore, he is a mad genius but some of his stuff just feels like he tries a bit too hard to be out there and depressing, i am not really into Marvel and DC as much as others but i love my comics like 2000ad and Gore and Shriek Love and Rockets is also my favorite series of all comic book related stuff, nearly passed out when i saw it was all packages into volumes now
  10. just finished Neonomicon by Alan Moore, with art by Jacen Burrows who stuff i love, quite a good read apart from half way in it turns a bit pornographic much like Alan Moores other series but can't remember what its called involves Alice In Wonderland and Dorothy
  11. aye wouldn't call myself a fan but like thier style, they seem to be on loop in my sisters car with The Kinks and others, hopefully talking about the same Shadows band, instrumental, haven't heard vocals yet at least i think i have never heard any
  12. i am not a huge fan of Metallica and don't mind Lou Reed, but what force of evil combined the two together, i have just heard The View and my ears are actually bleeding, its terrible, i really don't know why this exists and listened to Nowhere at All, quite good for a second show
  13. i know what you mean about how fast they play, but i'll admit i'm one of those people that goes to gigs pretty drunk and the faster it gets the more i love it, except when seeing Godflesh or Jesu, pretty much my favorite bands
  14. ah the Misfits haven't toured in the UK since 2008, at least as far as i'm aware, love them, fantastic band, never really listened to them until i saw them live and then found thier best stuff was with Graves, still brilliant live
  15. saw The Descendants at Reading Festival not too bad, loving Mastodon at the moment which is weird because i never l liked them years ago, how taste buds change
  16. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Teh_Showtime" data-cite="Teh_Showtime" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25170" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>R Truth was awesome in TNA. Just watched a promo exchange and match with Scott Hall. Those were the good days...</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> is that the promo where he goes "i am the sun tanned superman" my mate is addicted to that video</p>
  17. i am a fan, nut never cared for the one with a lot of underwater stuff, also took me ages to get into it, but i knew what i was doing its an awesome game
  18. me and my long time girlfriend split for about a year and i found a song that summed up everything for me which was Katatonia - Gone sounds a tad cliche but i was really going through a downfall and this song summed up everything found my taste in music changed as well to melodic stuff like Jesu and Sigur Ros, it had a happy ending though we're back together and have a little boy now, but still my music changes alot with my mood
  19. <p>about the Knockout division my mate was watching some re-runs and i think she was called Hamada don't know who it was against but it was bloody brilliant </p><p> </p><p> i don't watch TNA much anymore but what i have seen i've really enjoyed, it does seem a little fast paced but i enjoy that, stopped watching with the Kurt Angle/Matt Morgan match at the PPV i can't remember awesome match, like what i see but sadly don't get much time to watch it these days</p>
  20. never heard of that website until now, its really cool, cheers for the help
  21. just had my nephew text me its TNA September/October 2003 he even sent me a link of where i could find all the old matches online world of wrestling or something well thats how long its been since i have watched wrestling properly, and its been on my mind that much that i had to send my nephew on a mission to help me
  22. sorry The American Dream Rhodes it must of been one of those dreams that seemed real and started to believe them, never mind cheers for replying
  23. sorry for this question as its off topic with up to date TNA but does anyone remember a fued between AJ Styles and Dusty Rhodes several years ago, i woke up with one of thier matches in my head and i can't find anything about it, i'm certain it happened on TNA
  24. the bass is an awesome instrument, i used to play bass in a number of bands and enjoyed it a lot, then i went on to guitar and one bad gig later i never touched it again and have never played live since, it was an appalling gig my music taste varies, i really am not a one type of music kind of guy, my taste ranges from Fiona Apple to Dillinger Escape Plan to grindcore like Hangover Overdose Jesu is probably the best music i have heard in a long time and seem to always end up listening to it
  25. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Stennick" data-cite="Stennick" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25170" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>When Joe came in he was undefeated, he went on to feud with Kurt Angle and was essentially considered a main eventer. When people talked about the future of TNA they talked about AJ Styles and Joe. In fact Joe took it upon himself to get all shooty on Scott Hall because it was "his company". <p> </p><p> I thought it would be fun to look at the last two years worth of pay per views and see what he has done. So away we go. </p><p> </p><p> From October of 08 until April of 09 (7 months) Joe does not win a pay per view match. </p><p> </p><p> Sometime around August Joe defeats Homicide and wins a few ppv's defending the X Division Title. </p><p> </p><p> From October 09 until September 2010 Joe does not win a single pay per view match. </p><p> </p><p> He finally wins a tag team match with JJ against Nash and Sting at that pay per view. </p><p> </p><p> Joe has not won a singles match on pay per view in over 13 months.</p><p> </p><p> The last singles match Joe won was in Sept 2009 when he defeated Daniels to retain his X Division Championship.</p><p> </p><p> Going back just one year with The Pope to last years BFG the Pope has only won two pay per view matches (unless you count the tournament as seperate matches then he's won five). None the less either way Pope's last singles victory on pay per view was in February of that year and he didn't win another ppv match until October. </p><p> </p><p> So Joe hasn't won a singles match on pay per view in over 13 months, the Pope hasn't won one in nine months.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> on that i don't think Desmonde Wolfe has won any matches on PPV, they built him up when he first joined and just seemed to lose every match he was in</p>
