Final Battle overdelivered. [spoiler]Taurus vs Vikingo, Page vs Nese, 6-Way match and Jay Briscoe Tribute were all great. Billie vs Athena was my MOTN. Contender for North American women's MOTY. I was super invested in the storyline. Didn't mind the ending.... Billie is only 19 and proved herself against the best while Athena proved she's unbeatable in ROH. Athena looked badass in the protective mask. I hope she appears in AEW more often.[/spoiler]

- Joe! Joe! Joe! Feels like the Devil has to be revealed at World's End. - Hangman vs Roddy was good. - Brody vs Andrade was good. - Golden Jets should put over Ricky & Bill then break up. - Soho vs Riho was good. Bonus Timeless Toni on commentary. - Rush vs Lethal was solid. - White vs Briscoe was solid. - Swerve vs Mox was my MOTN. "Mox fails under big pressure" was a stupid sign. Cry me a river, Hangman.

- Eddie vs Claudio was great. - Willow vs Martinez was good. Stat! - Wardlow vs Mack was solid. - Kenny vs Ethan was good. - Strong Julia promo. Miro with that 60s mindset. - Penta & Kommander vs Former JAS was good. Big pop for the Canadians. - Danielson vs Andrade was my MOTN. Huge win for Andrade.

Getting good matches and promos from the C2.

- Mox vs Rush was good. - Roddy the miracle man. - Interesting stuff between Hangman & MJF backstage. - Briscoe vs Swerve was my MOTN. La maison de qui ? La maison de Swerve. - Can't wait for people who don't know Mariah to see her wrestle. - The Devil Crew wrestling probably would have given away their identitites. Waste of time. - Toni (c) vs Skye was solid. Classy intro from Ben Mankiewicz. Riho! - Lethal vs White was solid. - Copeland vs Cage (c) was solid. Shayna doing the right thing for her son.

They could have Julia take Abadon under her wing after the match. Just having Abadon ringside for Julia's matches to get them on TV more would be good. There's no value in paying wrestlers a yearly salary to wrestle 2 matches per year.

Covid knocked me down for a 3 count so just a quick review. Rampage was fine. Collision was top tier. C2 matches all delivered. Women's division felt like an afterthought this week but I enjoyed the Toni/Skye promos. Save the clams!

- Mox vs Lethal was solid. Dragon on commentary! - Yes to Sting on TV. No to Flair on TV. - Briscoe vs Rush was great. - Poor Toni needs a break. - Serious MJF promo with a bonus TNA history lesson. Failed beatdown attempt was funny. - Wardlow vs Fox was solid. - Hardys & Zay vs Top Flight & Andretti was solid. Did they need to show the injury spot? Taz legal proceedings from the Dark days lol. - Emi vs Julia (c) was solid. Smart stipulation choice. Emi saved the overshot moonsault. - Mariah debut soon. I think she's barking up the wrong tree with RJ lol. - Christian/Copeland segment was entertaining. - White vs Swerve was my MOTN.

I wouldn't want it to be Ricky unless he beats MJF this time. Plus he's busy with Bill so the storyline would probably be dragged out too long and impact the tag division. Swerve could probably make anything work (except Parker & Trench which no one could lol) and he's primed for the main event. I'd be willing to give Perry a chance but he would have to start cutting some killer promos.

Rampage was good. I didn't expect Shibata to drop the Pure title until Final Battle. Yuta destroyed him 😮 - Garcia vs Claudio was good. - Killswitch beating up Dalton's Boys was fun. Copeland is sinking to Christian's level. Great promo. - HoB vs Kommander & Gravity was solid. Kommander's rope running spot was cool. - Dante! - Frost vs Julia (c) was solid. - FTR vs Righteous was solid. Cesaro lol. Punk doesn't deserve a shoutout. - Ricky/Bill promo was good. - Keith vs Moriarty was solid. - Brody vs Eddie was my MOTN. Big win for Brody.

ROH was really good this week. YMMV with Rousey in the main event but the match was great.

- Swerve vs Lethal was good. - I think the Devil is either Kyle (working for Cole) or Perry. Joe has come to collect. - Cassidy, Shibata & Hook vs Former JAS was solid. Danhausen! - Poor Roddy. Wholesome Christian Cage family segment. Killswitch engaged. - Rush vs White was good. - Fantastic speech from Timeless Toni. Shame the new TBS Champion Julia didn't get a segment on TBS - Blue vs Jay vs Ruby was solid. It felt a bit rushed. - Briscoe vs Mox was good. Long overrun.

Strap the rocket and make him next AEW Champion.

- Lethal vs Kingston (c) - Stoke's commentary was the best part. *** - Claudio vs Buddy - *** 1/2 - Gunns vs Joe & MJF (c) - ADAM! *** 1/4 - Christian & Sons vs Sting, Darby & Copeland. - Brilliant entrance. - *** 3/4 - Cassidy (c) vs Mox - Unexpected winner. **** - Toni vs Shida (c) - New Champ. Mariah! *** 3/4 - Tag Title Ladder match - **** 1/4 - Julia vs Goth Blue vs Statlander (c) - This match overdelivered.**** 1/4 - Hangman vs Swerve - MOTN. Most brutal AEW match ever. Staples were a nice change from the usual thumbtacks. Blood drinking was too much. **** 3/4 - Golden Jets vs Young Bucks - **** - Jay vs MJF (c) - Overbooking made Jay look a bit weak but MJF's selling carried it. No devil... *** 3/4 Not a Top 5 PPV but very entertaining. TK hitting back at criticism that he doesn't pivot plans to capitalize on hot wrestlers with wins for Toni, Julia & Swerve. Christian & Swerve entrances were perfect. Line of the Year from Nigel: "Matching staples now."

Rumor is Ronda's appearance was a favor to Marina and she's not signed. Hopefully it's still heading for Athena vs Billie at Final Battle but TK might not be able to resist having Ronda appear/wrestle on the show.

Collision & Rampage were fun. Spanish Fly spot was bad. It looks like a move that's easy to botch. In other news Rousey debuted for ROH and will likely face Athena at Final Battle. I don't mind her as a wrestler but with the Sandy Hook and transphobic comments it's not good optics, especially right after signing Flair.

- OrangeHook vs BCC was solid. - Hangman going in hard on Swerve & Nana. - MJF is not the devil and I'm starting to think Roddy isn't either. - Blue vs Velvet was solid except for the clunky finish. - Strong promo from Miro. Mariah got to meet her Stardom idol. - Joe vs Not Serpentico was a solid squash. - Penta & Kommander vs Young Bucks was great. Judas Effect lol. - Gunns squash was a waste of time. Could have just cut the promo. - Street fight was my MOTN. The props were fun and the action crazy. PIP camera angles would have made it even better. - Good promos from MJF & White. Full Gear should end with the Devil laying waste to everyone in the ring.

Jericho & Takeshita had a great match at Ultimate Party. I wish AEW would use more DDT talent.

ROH has been fun lately. Lots of storylines in the women's division involving Athena, Billie, Martinez, Diamante & Hirsch. Angelico being pushed. Lexy doing great stuff backstage. Dalton going all in on his promos.

- Andrade vs Garcia was my MOTN. Interesting dynamic with Miro & CJ. - Wayne vs Dalton was good. - Strong Hangman promo. - LFI vs Workhorsemen was solid. HoB on the warpath. 2 women's matches at Full Gear - Roddy Neckstrong vs Darius was solid. - Danielson, Pac & Hayter at All In would be great. Round Robin Tournament for Danielson! - Julia vs Willow was good. - Hobbs squash was solid. - Archer & The Righteous vs Darby, Sting & Copeland was good.

- Garcia the Professional Wrestler vs MJF (c) was good. - Darby & Sting vs Outrunners was a solid squash. - Toni & Shida with a historic contract signing. - Swerve vs Penta was my MOTN. Crazy cowboy! - Switchblade is better than you and you know it. - Callis Family/Yakuza tie-in makes sense. Bucks should turn heel. - Lee vs Joe (c) was good. Interesting timing on Joe vacating the title before Final Battle. - Strong Cassidy promo. Gunns speaking the truth. - Julia vs Velvet was good. Lots of tension after the match with Skye & Stat. - Mariah May is here and she's fangirling over Toni! - White vs Briscoe was good. Beatdown! Bowens through the glass! Devil!

- Classic Collision opening promos with a bonus fight. - Fox vs Swerve was my MOTN. Brawl! - Garcia hype. MJF going off. Switchblade in a good mood after pinning the fake Champion. Toothless tosspot lol. - Kingdom squash was OK. Roddy is a trooper. - Archer vs Darby was good. Wouldn't mind if Archer & The Righteous stay together. Shame Stu seems to have visa issues. - Enjoying the Lucha Underground callbacks. - Everybody likes the Acclaimed... including MJF. Dalton! Impromptu match was solid. - Sex Stallions vs Briscoe & Naturally Limitless was solid. Good Briscoe promo. - Willow vs Emi was good. - Absolutely Big & Mogul Embassy vs FTR & LFI was good. HoB! BCC!
