I just cut together a logo from another modder with it's banner text and put it on a C-verse bg and added a flag.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> As someone who routinely plays as USPW. I'll say I really enjoy this. Good work and bravo to you and the logo's creator. Well done, the flag behind the logo add something extra too it.</p>
  2. <p>So it's week 1 of April in 2016 for my current USPW game. We, as always have substantial $$$ in the bank and remain #1 in the world. Go us. </p><p> </p><p> Frehley won his feud with Champion thanks to interference by Shaffer, starting their own feud, but is currently having to deal with Rick Law, coming off the victory in his own feud. I'm thinking Law takes this one currently. </p><p> </p><p> As an aside to those out there, is anyone else having Frehley be a little touchy in whom he will accept a loss from without the 'keep strong' note put on him or is it just me?</p><p> </p><p> Marat Khoklov, almost always a must hire, made his debut by wiping out James Justice. Justice has fought back admirably though, but remains down 2 losses to 1 victory to the russian beast.</p><p> </p><p> The tag titles were quickly taken off of The Cold Warriors as punishment of Novak's steroid problem and they most likely won't be seeing it again until I'm confident his problem's behind him. He's already been suspended twice and I'm running out of patience with the guy....</p><p> </p><p> Natural Storm are our current tag champions, being harassed by Rich Money's cohorts The 1%. The team consists of Joss Thompson and Nelson Callum.</p><p> </p><p> The women's title is still on Melody, but I'm thinking she losses it to her current feud in J-Ro. With Strong back from injury the follow up feud writes itself, really.</p><p> </p><p> The National Title is on Edd Stone (swiped from TCW), Rick Law gave up the title to go after the World title so Edd won a 6 way dance for the belt. The Television title is on newcomer Ross Henry who's defended it well.</p><p> </p><p> As an I also like the emails of your workers giving praise or opinions of their fellow workers. Here are some of mine:</p><p> </p><p> Enygma thinks American Patriot deserves more promo time.(possibly)</p><p> Ross Henry thinks Cali Slick is a future star (agree)</p><p> Ross Henry also thinks Rockin' Ryan Turner 'has a lot of upside'(possibly)</p><p> Krusher Karloff Thinks El Mitico Jr is a future star(agree)</p><p> </p><p> For now I'm in a slow 'build up the guys I think are worth it while slowly lowering the one's who aren't' mode. Guys like the 1%, Rick Law, Casey Valentine, Colossus, Greg Gauge, and Ernest Youngman are slowly being featured/winning more than others.</p><p> </p><p> No real surprises so far and no one's been deemed 'toxic' just yet. Both TCW and SWF have dropped to cult and I finally won a national battle against SOTBPW, monsters that they are...</p><p> </p><p> In a bidding war against TCW,SWF,and NOTBPW, for Sammy Bach, whom I will slot right in at the top of my card.</p><p> </p><p> HOWEVER, I plan to add a rule to my playing that anyone that I steal from a competitor that slots into my upper midcard or main event, I then must ALSO select a worker that is equal to or greater popularity and put him on my blacklist and NEVER touch him. So for example if I manage to steal Bach, I have to select a worker that has the possibility of working for me, like Rocky Golden or Jack Bruce for example, and they then go on my blacklist. This will help keep me from stealing EVERYONE of value and both overloading my roster and killing my competitors. Thoughts? Suggestions?</p>
  3. <p>We are in week 2 of December in my USPW save.</p><p> </p><p> Previously we've acquired the likes of Remo, Valiant, Hawkins, Andrews, The New Wave, Edd Stone, Ricky DeColt, Hanna, and other younger talents. </p><p> </p><p> The World Title feud between Andrews and World Champ Rick Law had to be ended early due to Andrews blowing out his ACL, surgery went well instead of 11 months he's out only 9. This is unfortunate for both him and Law as Law's newest feud is against Damien (AKA Hell's Bouncer) which he will most likely lose, letting Damien have his first, but not last I hope, run with the gold.</p><p> </p><p> Remo and Frehley have renewed their own feud in USPW. I think Remo goes over here, though with Damien as champ I may have Frehley take it so he can challenge the heel champ. We shall see. </p><p> </p><p> The Keith brothers are both Upper midcarders as are the team of Roger Cage and Nelson Callum, AKA Pinnacle. I see all four men in the main event eventually. </p><p> </p><p> The New Wave are Tag champs but are being challenged by the likes of Cali Slick and Frantic Ali. I'm thinking The Wave lose the belts here for a spell.</p><p> </p><p> Andre Jones and Kirk Jameson hold the National and TV titles respectively, both are dealing with their own feuds atm, but the eventual goal is a unification match with the National title being retired.</p><p> </p><p> Frost(Nadia Snow) unseated Melody as Women's champ and Alina America, newly recalled from development teamed up with then betrayed Alicia Strong, hoping to gain notoriety from the act. On a purely popularity and skill level she's doing amazingly well for herself and that 90 Star Quality doesn't hurt her either.</p><p> </p><p> Out in the world MAW and BCG have gone under, being bought out by myself. Several MAW workers were brought in and dumped into my development territory and Sam Keith is now a Road Agent of mine. AAA is in debt and if they don't pull out soon I may end up buying them out as well. Muahahaha. </p><p> </p><p> Peeking at the editor I see Sammy Bach's contract is coming due from TCW and I'm game to make him a part of the USPW family. </p><p> </p><p> All in All Fun times ahead!</p>
  4. <p>My USPW game continues! </p><p> </p><p> We are past August and at the last PPV saw several developments.</p><p> </p><p> Rick Law defeated Khoklov to retain the USPW world title to send the crowd home on a positive note.</p><p> </p><p> Steve Frehley finished off his throw away feud with a very aging James Justice only to be jumped by an old rival come to USPW. Remo proceeds to beat down Frehley and turn him face in the process and start their feud, though I don't see Frehley's character changing all that much between face and heel. </p><p> </p><p> Valiant is currently fighting of an aging monster in Tyson Baine along with manager Hannah Potter, who's doing well in that role. She also insists on doing promos unscripted. Whatever floats her boat I suppose.</p><p> </p><p> What about our figurehead? Mr. Nicky Champion has his hands full with the up and coming netherworld monstrosity Damien (Aka Hell's Bouncer). In all PPV match ups so far Nicky has won by DQ due to Damien just not caring about the rules which leaves Nicky the victor, but beaten and laying on the matt.</p><p> </p><p> My push of Joss Thompson continues as he attempts to deal with Ross Henry. For me Ross is a decent upper card guy, but not really main event material until he shores up his Psychology a good deal.</p><p> </p><p> All in all though we've taken a good deal of people from the other companies, but only workers I intend to use. We've taken the following since the start of the save:</p><p> </p><p> Scout, Remo, James Prudence, Aaron Andrews, Guide, Hannah Potter, Valiant,Ricky DeColt, Ian Identity, Ranger, Matt Keith, the Dirty White Boys, James 'Mainstream' Hernandez, and Donte Dunn.</p><p> </p><p> However we are currently in the midst of a bidding war between us SWF,NOTBPW, and TCW over the services of one Wolf Hawkins. If we get him and we should, he'll most likely come in as a heel to face off with Champion I think.</p><p> </p><p> Fun times ahead for me. :-)</p><p> </p><p> Edit: Pillaged my first Federation. Unlucky MAW was 74k in the hole and suffered the consequences. Muahahaha. Looking at the editor, BCG is in the hole too.....</p>
  5. quick question: Out of curiosity, Has anyone managed to meddle negatively in an already established relationship like a marriage or so forth and break them up or anything?
  6. I am determined to keep Champion, I LOATHE tossing around Creative Control, but I feel in 16 I may be forced to offer it in certain cases. urgh. I kept the belt on Frehley and had him win the feud with Champion to overall help us long term in the national battles, having one and only one guy as 'the guy' is dangerous should something unexpected happen to him. Granted losing either Champion or Marat would seriously hurt us, by helping other main eventers step up I attempt to lessen the amount of hurt if that makes sense? Novak hasn't signed with anyone as of yet so far. I DID open a development company and a dojo. Belle Bryden runs the dev company and I have a few darn good trainers down there like Art Reed, Clark Alexander, and Freddie Dastun. They usually have shows in the 50s or so. I seriously thought about sending Ross Henry down to dev, but then I came up with the idea of this ex football player constantly seeing Force beaten down and outnumbered and during one of these beat downs jumping the barricade and helping drive The Titans off. The Women's division is something I have fun with, though getting Alicia to play ball with that Creative Control she has can be an issue. Hence why she's not getting another title run until I can renegotiate with her or someone else nears her popularity. I have a few favorites I always hire: Sara M. York, Nadia Snow(renamed to Frost), Simoney Sentinal(in dev), Joanna Silver (in Dev.). I have fun with it. My goals for the game for now include trying to move some of the younger talent up to the main event, Like Thompson, Bouncer, etc. and slowly move some of the older guys down the card. As to your PS, I try my hardest not to curse, so using 'alternate' words for cursing is something I've gotten into the habit of doing. I was watching Farscape when I was first starting this, so the term just kinda stuck with me.
  7. We are in March of 2016 as USPW. We are still in first place as TCW and NOTBPW have both fallen to cult thanks to national battles with us. We've hired some of the typical indy guys, Mitico, Callum, DWN, and others. Bringing in Marat help tip the National battle in our favor, but our main goal is to prep some of our better workers for prime spots in the ME. Namely Joss Thompson (SQ 92 same as Champion) and Damien (AKA Hell's Bouncer, personal favorite). We've axed Petr Novak due to steroids to the Evil Russian tag team is no more which saddens me somewhat. We've also hired our first negative backstage worker in Scout, hopefully his partner comes due soon so I can snag a great tag team. In the meantime he better behave himself. We lost out on Eddie Peak to the SWF, but to be honest I wasn't really trying THAT hard to snag him from TCW. We'll see how he does there, I like Eddie. Nicky Champion's contract comes due in 82 days so I've been building several backstage Strong Friendships with him and others to give him even more incentive to stick around. Steve Frehley remains our World Champion having beaten Champion in his story line ending match thanks to an interfering Rich Money starting their feud. Frehley moves on to a main eventing Rick Law to help solidify the police officer in the main event. Ross Henry is our National Champ as he's made his debut by helping The Force with his two on one situation with The Titans, a feud that's about to wrap up. Casey Valentine remains our TV champ, having good chemistry with Donte Dunn. Dunn won't win, but it will help the Opener move up the card, hopefully. The Towers of Power are our tag champs and I'm looking for a team to take it off of them as I've never been a huge fan of either men, especially as faces but we have far more heels than faces so we'll make due for now. Melody remains Women's Champion, her feud with Gorgon is wrapping up, I may have Gorgon beat her for the belt, but we'll see. Ultimately I'd like both Sara M. York and Frost(Nadia Snow) to have runs with the belt so Gorgon winning may help facilitate that. I DO know that with creative control and Vastly higher pop than most of the other women, a returning Alicia Strong is NOT about to have that title anytime soon as I'd most likely never get the frelling thing off her. >.<
  8. Playing as USPW, we're still #1 and national, and I advance to the next day and see this.... http://i775.photobucket.com/albums/yy36/DidelotM1/cl.png despite the story and him being 'toxic' I am soo soo soo tempted as he IS now unemployed... Edit: Temptation overcome for now... This little pop up helped... http://i775.photobucket.com/albums/yy36/DidelotM1/cl1.png
  9. <p>I wonder if the young female demographic had a strong connection to Sara? Hmm....nah! <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i775.photobucket.com/albums/yy36/DidelotM1/strong%20connection.png</span></p>
  10. <p>Month 2 as USPW, TCW fell to cult the first month. Rocky Golden suffers for it...</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i775.photobucket.com/albums/yy36/DidelotM1/flop.png</span></p>
  11. My first attempt at manipulating one of the in game pictures, so don't expect anything amazing. Officer Jade http://i775.photobucket.com/albums/yy36/DidelotM1/Tiffany%20Jade_alt.jpg The idea came from the fact that in my current game she and Rick Law are dating.
  12. I'm really diggin' Ambrose lately he reminds me a lot of Roddy Piper in his mannerisms. His actions get chuckles out of me as well ("What? It's for charity!" *throws bucket are Rollins*) I AM annoyed that their supposedly separating the Wyatt Family already (Way too soon, imo) and if the dirt sheets are to be believed, Bray Wyatt is slated for a face turn soon which I am 50/50 over. Still at this point a face turn couldn't hurt the guy's momentum any more as it's pretty much dead in the water as is. On the whole lately, WWE for me is just unsatisfying, Sure there are bright spots, but the entire thing just leaves me going 'meh'. Though I put that squarely on the shoulders of WWE Creative. I say that because last I heard a good majority of them were 'TV People'(and soap opera people at that) and NOT wrestling people and outside The Blacklist and NFL Football I do NOT watch TV at all. Granted all things run through Vinny Mac and I lay my current dissatisfaction with the product at his feet as well. My solution is simple, fire the 'tv people' in creative and get some 'wrestling people' in their seats. If the NXT stlye of things is what we have to look forward to with HHH/Steph in power, I say bring it on because I couldn't be more unenthused about the product as it is. And no I don't think a return to 'attitude' is something that would help any at the moment. Yeesh, ranted a bit more than I expected. Ah well. My two cents as it were. Take it or leave it.
  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Blackman" data-cite="Blackman" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="25169" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>It seems pretty clear that Cena will win this rematch. Or will they drag it out to Survivor Series? But that presupposes a dirty finish / interference.<p> </p><p> And yes: I would like a Usos vs Ascention matchup. But first, the Ascention needs to feud with KENTA damnit <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />.</p><p> </p><p> It would be interesting to see Nikki Bella take the championship as the segment on SD! hinted at some sort of rollup or other steal finish. If that happens Paige and AJ can continue this mediocre rivalry on the midcard without the title involved. After all: it's the divas title. It never had any prestige to begin with.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I can't be the only one that misses the ACTUAL women's championship belt and not this frilly, pink, butterflied monstrosity? </p><p> </p><p> I agree with your Cena vs Brock statement but will disagree with you vehemently about anything Bella being 'interesting' :-D</p>
  14. <p>Interesting news from the dirt sheets. Roman Reigns out about 6 weeks with Hernia. Be interesting to see what the fallout for that is.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> As to the upcoming PPV I honestly would not be surprised to see Cena come away with the win here because I have zero faith this company knows what the heck it's doing anymore in regards to logic and suchlike. Also I have to chuckle at those picking AJ or Paige to win the Diva's championship matchup with the new season of that divas show starting and this whole Bella nonsense all but sidelining anything else diva related. Just my thoughts on the matter, no harm no foul if I'm wrong. *shrug*</p>
  15. I pretty much agree with the above statements. While I personally I don't hate Cena and I don't love Cena. I pretty much prefer seeing anyone else other than the Bella Twins(don't get me started on THEM! ugh) on my TV. The booking of Cena is eye roll worthy. It's amusing to me that thinking on it some, that he pretty much fails at 2 out of 3 of his mantra. The man Hustles and works his tail off, but Loyalty and Respect? I call fail on those when it comes to the in ring character. I could rant a bit on those but I'll spare you all that.
  16. For me I just go down the line one at a time. If I want 'quickie' quests I'll look at one of the hundreds of side quests I still have yet to do. If I want something longer I'll pick a main quest that perks my interest at the time. What I personally hate is having Joe Farmer's wooden bow, or some random Bard's lute stuck in my inventory as a quest item for a quest I don't even HAVE yet. Can't drop it, it's a quest item and it still tacks onto your carry limit...grr....
  17. Quick request, In my current USPW game I have Fro Sure(face) trying to get Andre Jones to 'embrace the Fro' so far he has been unsuccessful, but... I need Andre Jones with an afro please. Thanks guys.
  18. I agree with the above and I believe the majority of WWE Creative nowadays is filled with 'TV People' not wrestling people, so they don't really 'get' wrestling or have no desire to and for most TV repetition is the order of the day. Heck, I DON'T watch TV at all for that reason, I've pretty much seen it all already.
  19. I HOPE not, because the Wyatt's have been one of the main reasons I've been tuning in lately. However I do know what you mean in a manner of speaking. In TEW game terms I DO think it curtailed his momentum a good bit. Though at the moment I'd fear WWE Creative more than any match with Cena as they've shown the ability to on occasion kill any momentum, fan support, and so forth dead as a doornail.
  20. <p>These aren't requests, but I have a few Promotion names that may inspire you or not. Pick and choose at your leisure.</p><p> </p><p> - Knightly Combat Wrestling</p><p> </p><p> - Championship Caliber Chicks</p><p> </p><p> - Dragon Fire Wrestling</p><p> </p><p> - Broken Hip Wrestling (all old workers all the time! :-p)</p><p> </p><p> - Wrestling Championship Spirit</p><p> </p><p> - Inner Fire Wrestling</p><p> </p><p> - International Wrestling Federation</p><p> </p><p> - Masked World Wrestling (everyone must wear a mask!)</p><p> </p><p> - Sudden Impact Wrestling</p><p> </p><p> - Girls Impact Rasslin' League , aka G.I.R.L.</p>
  21. <p>I don't see Cena turning heel in any immediate future. The man sells merch as is hand over fist, he's the face of the PG era, and the kids apparently love the guy. The only way for Cena to ever turn heel, IMO is if when he comes out for matches receives silence, not boos, not cheers, just utter indifference. All that happens when people boo Cena is that they feed into his 'I love the WWE because you have choice, booing me gets me hyped, etc.' shtick he pulls out every once in a while on a promo.</p><p> </p><p> As much as I've talked about the guy lately I don't hate him and I don't love him. I've seen his shtick all before when it was called Hulkamania. For me at least Cena is a dull repeat that's not half as entertaining. All that said I fear for the Wyatt's for being tossed into a feud with Cena as very few workers make it out of one on the better side of things.</p>
  22. <p>I will be stunned, Stunned stupid if Bray Wyatt, as much as I(and the crowd apparently) love him, Picks up the win at EC. As much as I want Bray to win, I just don't see WWE Creative letting it happen. I'd be pleased as heck if he DID pull out the win, but there's something that I can sum up in one word that holds me back. Nexus. Nexus? You betcha, here's the set up. A group comes in hot enough that people start to take notice 'hey something new/different at last', they beat up a few more noticeable people and people start to like this new group, The new group is then faced with feuding with Cena, The group goes downhill from there. Heck two of Cena's survivor series allies talk about it here.</p><p> </p><p> <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88NEn6eDjhE" rel="external nofollow">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=88NEn6eDjhE</a></p><p> </p><p> Now I'm not saying it's EXACTLY the same, but it's awfully darn similar ain't it? I get what they are trying to do with Cena. They are putting him in the Hulk Hogan position, the hero that wins at the end nearly all the time unless he was swindled out of the win.</p><p> </p><p> Just my thoughts, I could be wrong.</p>
  23. <p>Quick Request, </p><p> </p><p> I was wondering if someone could take this picture:</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y72/DemonDragonKing/StevenParker_alt.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> And add to it the half skull detail deal that The Shield's new face masks have?</p><p> </p><p> Thanks in advance.</p>
  24. <p>Overall good show from the Silverdome. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I felt that whomever won the HHH/Bryan Match was winning the title(s) at the end of the night and there were potential story hooks for both guys going forward. I'm not much of a Yes Movementer, but I have nothing against the guy. The Shield match was fun as short as it was, but a nice way to get younger guys out there to the less hardcore fans. Loved Bray's entrance and the way the band was outfitted so props to them. Probably my favorite entrance of the night. Disappointed that Bray lost, not unexpected though as it was Cena he was up against. They did however tell one heck of a story in that ring and I feel that should the fates be kind, Bray will one day be a solid main eventer. The Diva's surprised me as there were some rather decent spots in that match and it shows their growth, of special note was the Bella's suicide dive to the outside as I wasn't expecting that. The Main Event turned out as I expected it to, to be honest. The Lesner/Taker match however, surprised me. I'm not the least upset, because Taker is OLD for a wrestler and in the most recent Mania's I've been almost apprehensive watching his match because I'm not rooting for him to win so much as rooting for him to not cause himself a life altering injury.</p><p> </p><p> Overall I give the show a solid A. There were ups and downs all night and at the end the heroes reign supreme for the night. I can live with that.</p>
