  1. I do this as part of my main games honestly, not the entire promotion, but a subsection of my guys. There was a promotion in my area for a few years that ran as a 'sports league' premise. The season would span 5 shows, and there would be a tournament show as well, they'd run essentially every other month or so.
  2. I both agree and disagree with this. I think that they should get a perception, but it should be ranked on talent. If Tony Schaiavone or Jim Ross had jumped ship in the mid/late 90s it would've been a big deal. If Mike Tenay started working with WWE it would've been a big deal. They deserve a perception but it needs to be based on talent, I would say as opposed to overness? Refs like Earl Hebner, Nick Patrick, Charles Robinson, Mike Chioda, Jack Doan, and Joey Marella are name value guys, where as I wouldn't know who John Cone was if I didn't listen to the Major WF Pod.
  3. WWE 2010 or 2020 or TNA 2004 please? Also always looking for good rules about creating wrestlers and the like, so by all means, include those if you desire!
  4. So my promotions 'big event' is a two-shot called the All-Star Weekend, however, I have noticed that attendance is essentially sliced in half for these events, presumably because I'm running two right after each other. Is there a way to negate this? Would I need to record one? Or maybe playing around with the show importance would work?
  5. USPW just unleashed hell on everyone. Signed Edward and Tommy Cornell, Freddie Huggins, Randy Bumfhole, and Jay Chord. And Sean McFly is now apart of SFW.
  6. <p>HBK with the worst luck.</p><p> </p><p> Wins strap at the Rumble.</p><p> Gets injured the next night during the contract signing for Mania with Christian:</p><p> </p><p> Time to scramble for a new Mania main event.</p><p> <img alt="wWB0Ay7.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/wWB0Ay7.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> And when it rains, it pours:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="AHJVCdt.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/AHJVCdt.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  7. Any chance of getting locations updated? The TD Ameritrade Center was never called that. Went from Kiel -> Savvis -> Scottrade and is now the Enterprise Center. While that one is just a simple fix for me. The PNC Center in Raleigh isn't in the game, and lots of Canadian arenas are missing.
  8. Could I get a logo and banner for the GWA; Gateway Wrestling Alliance (based in the St. Louis area). In my head the colors would be blue and yellow, but do whatever you think looks good!
  9. Trampoline wrestling promotion is just that. Something teens used in lieu of actually having a wrestling ring to backyard wrestle in. As for pictures, the issue I'm running into mentally is that I use a lot of 'face claims' (as we call them in the RP world) that are celebrities, and I guess I'm worried bout breaking immersion. Excellent. Still trying to decide if modern or cverse but that is good to know.
  10. What are the feelings of playing out worlds with created characters as opposed to real wrestlers or strictly holding to those already in the CVerse? I want to do a diary, but don't enjoy the game as much when I don't have my own characters to push. Are you a fan of them as long as they have pictures? Do you prefer they not be there and would skip out on anything involving them? Are you okay with anything so long as it's booked well? Side question: Any interest in a trampoline wrestling promotion? Or indy to the top of the world story?
  11. Looking for some 2001 WWF rules where I won't be starting the Invasion right away. I'm going to build up to it a bit, probably tease it every once in a while, but I would like there to be no Invasion until Wrestlemania of 2002. I do want wrestlers jumping ship to happen though. WCW Nitro will be taking the place of Smackdown. A WCW Brand and a WWF Brand will be happening. I probably won't hire many old WCW guys who didn't sign right away. But I may go with Hogan, Flair, Sting, Hall, and Nash. I also have some CAWs that can be included in rules, or not included in rules, 3 Personalities/Color Commentators/Announcers/Managers (all male; includes user character) 1 Manager/Personality (Female) 6 Male Wrestlers 5 Female Wrestlers/Managers.

  14. Are there any penalties for running a Friday night and Saturday night PPV show? I'm trying to do something like an 'All Star Weekend' event.
  15. Looking for rules for either a 1998 WWF or WCW or ECW game. A 2001 Invasion game. All three potential ones will include created wrestlers that either can or cannot be included in rules.
  16. Working on a backstory for a current day WWE story, need some ideas though. What is considered overdone? Anything in particular or?

  20. <p><span>http://i.imgur.com/Sy0C0ie.png</span></p><p> </p><p> Didn't think "Good Will Hunting" would cause this much damage to a person, let alone a wrestler. 22. <p>Back for some more help; can't figure out what to do with the Raw GM situation since Shane McMahon passed away the day of the draft. Draft has been postponed temporarily until a new GM can be figured out. Started with 17 potential candidates (looking mainly to hire someone from outside the company, though someone with a history in the company is much preferred. </p><p> </p><p> I've narrowed it down to the following people:</p><p> </p><p> </p><ol style="list-style-type:decimal;"><li>Eric Bischoff<br /></li><li>Jim Cornette<br /></li><li>Mick Foley<br /></li><li>Kevin Nash<br /></li><li>Steve Austin<br /></li><li>Edge<br /></li><li>Shawn Michaels<br /></li></ol><p></p><p> </p><p> Another idea I had is something along the lines of what TNA had, a championship committee kind of deal with multiple people acting as figures of authority. It'd get a little foggy with 3 guys calling the shots, but could also twist into some interesting decisions being made.</p>
  23. <p><span>http://i.imgur.com/oZ0Bjnb.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p> What would be the day of the draft where he would take control of Raw.</p>
